No news on Soh then?

bsered

1.) 11 Sep 2020 19:40:17
Watch him not be announced and just rock up in the starting line up tomorrow or something daft like that.

2.) 11 Sep 2020 19:45:15
He is feeling Soh, Soh about the deal. 😁.

3.) 11 Sep 2020 20:50:01
PSG have put on twitter that he has signed for NFFC!

4.) 11 Sep 2020 21:05:15
On the Forest site now.

5.) 11 Sep 2020 21:31:20
That will upset the doom and gloomers 🤷🏻‍♂️.

6.) 11 Sep 2020 21:32:40
He's 6 feet 1 inch so let's hope he can stop some of the crosses that we seem unable to do much about. He's also supposed to be a "ball playing centre back", so no hoofing it upfield please!

7.) 11 Sep 2020 22:13:00
Thats short compared with dawson worrall and figs but i hear they do special traing in france on jumping.
Its called frog trampoline 😁😁.

03 Sep 2020 10:57:25
There's a report out - and you cannot trust journo gossip i know, which says that Olympiacos are trying to do a balancing act over a Portuguese player they want, but that Forest may be involved in the money because we owe something like £8 million in transfer debt - all to do with Carvalho. It sounds a mess but if true it puts Cash's money in perspective. We shouldn't over estimate what the money situation is like.

bsered

1.) 03 Sep 2020 12:37:10
Besred if we are having to sell cash to fund the likes of carvslaho then we are in deep poo. If carvalaho came through the ranks he would have been told sorry son you are not good enough. Its bonkers.

30 Aug 2020 16:39:59
Pantilimon off to Turkey on 1 year deal?

bsered

1.) 30 Aug 2020 19:12:37
Lets do the funky chicken 🤣🤣🤣.

2.) 01 Sep 2020 17:24:05
Now it's a 2 Year Deal. . .

15 Aug 2020 09:17:14
There's talk of us signing Ioannou, Cypriot/ English lad playing in Cyprus, ex Man. Utd. reserves Captain, 24. Has had a "hip problem" in the past. Central defender.

bsered

1.) 15 Aug 2020 11:59:02
Hmmm. Hip problems rings alarm bells.

2.) 15 Aug 2020 18:30:28
lyle Taylors wiki say he's playing for nottingham forest hehe.

3.) 15 Aug 2020 19:13:30
I wonder which fan did that. 😁.

4.) 15 Aug 2020 19:53:01
Haha pretty much haha. Hope he's announced soon. don't normally message on here but read every comment daily and love the vibes from everyone haha.

14 Aug 2020 21:16:46
We've signed a Greek 17 year old midfielder, presumably for the U18s.

bsered

1.) 16 Aug 2020 14:32:22
He doesn't look a day over 9 years old, bless him.

Instead of using Davis for the last 20 minutes in the game V huddersfield, if that is indeed the plan, why not let him run their defence ragged for the first 30 minutes, then bring Surridge on?

bsered

1.) 25 May 2022 13:36:44
It's a really tough call and even tougher on Surridge because he's been excellent but Cooper needs to be ruthless and field his best XI.

Davis has to start if fit, he can be unplayable and offers us so much going forward, holding the ball up and bringing others into play. Bring Surridge on later when legs are tired and if we're chasing the game we could even bring him on to partner Davis.

Pretty sure they'll both get some minutes whatever Cooper chooses to do.

2.) 25 May 2022 14:29:59
the problem is that if we start with surrige and bring davis on with say 30 minutes left plus possibly extra time, what happens if his injury flares up and he has to go off. Best to start with davis and see how long he lasts then bring surrige on as and when necessary.

3.) 25 May 2022 14:49:18
I agree with you Oakham but it’s a tough call. It’s great to have 2 excellent players for this vital role though!

4.) 25 May 2022 16:34:09
Davis needs to start, said without any prejudice at all to Sam S.

18 May 2022 00:02:47
An amazing night the players played their hearts out despite Sheffield's appalling tactics.
Special mention to Cooper for brilliant man management - stopping the players getting into any tunnel fracas, and putting on Cafu to take a penalty.
Samba showed how special he was, man of the match for me.
It was always Sheffield who were the ones we needed to beat. I'm not so nervous about Huddersfield so chances of Premiership are now very high.

bsered

1.) 18 May 2022 08:21:34
Bsered: Samba did indeed get many of the match from Sky. Well deserved.

17 May 2022 11:21:46
It might well be a tight game, on the other hand it might be easier than expected, but whatever, it's the last 20 minutes that will count most of all, so that's when our subs need to step up and take the game out of reach.

bsered

1.) 17 May 2022 11:36:00
Going to have my lucky joint before I head off to the game then that way if I’m stuck in traffic I can always fly there……. wish I’d have thought of that when I had the jolly mobile ay balloons 🤣.

2.) 17 May 2022 12:21:47
Ya flogged it mate? Castle Donnington motor museum 🤣
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 🎈.

3.) 17 May 2022 14:31:48
Even castle Donnington motor museum didn’t want it, they said it was too old I think they meant to say too crap……. I had a feeling they didn’t want it when they said you can’t leave that thing here, so I set light to it.

14 May 2022 21:23:42
Not worried by the score line but worried over Yatesy. If he can’t play Tuesday the maybe bring Colback into midfield and use Laryea at left back? First half probably our best football this season.

bsered

11 May 2022 10:52:59
Draw at Bramall Lane, win at City Ground, Simples!

bsered

1.) 11 May 2022 11:05:00
I'll tek that.

2.) 11 May 2022 11:11:56
Agree totally, I would take a draw in the first game and a win at home in the 2nd game. This will be tough going, looking forward to it but not looking forward to it at the same time😱.

3.) 11 May 2022 12:47:57
I do think we will lose over the two legs as I think the blades will be too strong for us both mentally and phiscally, probably 2-0 to the blades first leg and 1-0 to the blades 2nd leg, it's been crap over the last 22 years and I can't see anything changing now, they'll bottle it as usual.

4.) 11 May 2022 13:39:10
Ok then tell me jolly? What have huddersfield, Sheffield united, or Luton done more than us. Or what teams have they got above ours. Its almost like you don't want us to win the amount of negatives. Wasnt it 4-0 the blades yesterday . Goes to all the rest of ya out there. With negatives. Give me viable answers not fkn past history. Get your heads out your ar$es and root for your club.

5.) 11 May 2022 14:37:17
My opinion which I'm allowed and it's what I think through 32 years of following forest who always seem to bottle it when it matters, just like when forte needed a draw to get in the playoffs against Stoke that was comical ha ha ha no wonder the sheep where laughing.

6.) 11 May 2022 14:40:25
Oh and it's maraknakerses club IMO.
But know what you mean bowie.

7.) 11 May 2022 14:44:07
Only the past to go on, as only the present exists as the future hasn't happend yet.

8.) 11 May 2022 14:46:59
Hi Bowie, I think we will narrowly miss out mate, I said I thought Bournemouth’s two last minute equalisers would just be the difference both. From a point - but more importantly a mentality perspective . Mentality will be everything and whilst we’ve got a good one, I think our last two games will mean sheff u Will just edge the mental battle . That’ll be all that’s in it in my opinion and it’s almost to close to call. Get the pie ready for me if I’m wrong but none of that jusroll rubbish - proper hand made pastry please!

9.) 11 May 2022 14:57:37
*Not-so-Jollyforester

:)

10.) 11 May 2022 15:06:15
If you want to go on the past then our record against sheff utd is
Won 46
Lost 48
Drew 34
So there is nothing in it.

11.) 11 May 2022 15:09:49
Nothing to be jolly about wonky, good honest post 2star

12.) 11 May 2022 15:34:11
Last twelve games
Forest won 9
Lost 2
Drawn 1
Goals for27
Goals against 6

Sheffield utd
Won 6
Lost3
Drew 3
Goals scored 18
Goals against 10

Those stats tell you who the favourites are and it's not Sheffield
They will find it very hard to score against us and find it hard to stop us scoring
Mentally the players will be fine as every player wants to play at Wembley so bottling it won't happen
Just enjoy.

13.) 11 May 2022 15:36:38
Fact is: anything could or may happen. Sheff Utd could have a man sent off early; we could get two penalties; we could outplay them if Cooper inspires the lads, or we could fail miserably, but the aim should be right there in front of us and them: play your arses off over the next 3 matches!

14.) 11 May 2022 15:42:01
As for Jolly F:

"Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future,
And time future contained in time past.
If all time is eternally present
All time is unredeemable."

How d'you like them apples?

15.) 11 May 2022 15:53:49
Bsered, I do like a bit of Thomas Stearns Eliot mate. 👍.

The club may be punished for the pitch invasion, and it happened again at Port Vale where Swindon players were abused by the home fans. A points deduction would be unfair but we know what the EFL's attitude is, so it would be no surprise.
Of course we should not tolerate what happened at the City ground, but it's worth pointing out that Heckingbottom did nothing to calm the atmosphere down by ramming the ball in Spence's stomach.
When emotions run over you need cool heads like Cooper's to take a lead as he did, and a cool-headed goalkeeper (at times) to again show leadership and re-assurance.
I think Davis will start on the 29th, but he can't be expected to last both halves. If we score he may come off at 50-60 mins or so?

To right doc. As usual the useless referees/linesmen were our undoing and it changed the whole game once again. I thought the youngsters did very well indeed and there are several gems in that side.
