Some whispers coming out of the camp. It’s really not good. Over training, differences of opinion, players running until they are exhausted. Calling out of tactics, senior players not really onboard.
Player disharmony is catastrophic for any club, but I understand it did seem like players v management rather than players against players.

Massive mistake IMO to appoint Dyche in first place, his brand of football isn’t to my liking.
Sadly looks like it’s Periera - the guy who couldn’t win a game for wolves this season. If it’s him he will relegate two clubs in the same season. Unbelievable.

Can you name the source of these alleged “whispers” Frog or are they just careless ( and baseless)?

2.) 12 Feb 2026 19:46:36
Stokey its been all over the radio this afternoon, no need to have a dig due to the content not following the happy clapper mentality. ?.

3.) 12 Feb 2026 20:56:16
Just curious mate. Which radio channel? I’ve been following the story in the media, not heard such rumours on the radio. BBC Five live sport and my daughter has Radio Nottm?

4.) 12 Feb 2026 21:30:44
Talksport. ?.

5.) 13 Feb 2026 07:44:42
Thank you ?.

6.) 13 Feb 2026 10:05:28
Apparently 5 senior players were asked to meet with Mr M after the game, the meeting took a couple of hours then Mr M called Dyche back to sack him. ?.

7.) 13 Feb 2026 14:03:28
Yeh like I’m making it all up Stokey ?
I made the post before this was common knowledge so perhaps an apology eh?

8.) 13 Feb 2026 14:46:06
Sources inside the club were apparently saying this last week. This is according to folks like Wolfie on FFTV and the Athletic who do have contacts in there.

9.) 13 Feb 2026 14:52:38
Ever seen a pig fly? ?.

10.) 13 Feb 2026 16:17:42
I’m not apologising for seeking clarification. Touchy or what? Talksport, “Wolfie from FFTV” are still a bit nebulous to my mind. I generally rate the Athletic because I have a Liverpool contact there ( Simon Hughes ) a brother in law.
I’ll be amazed if the story is true and substantiated. It’s not our owners style and I’d love to know the 5 alleged backstabbers.

11.) 13 Feb 2026 20:08:13
I can name a couple of back stabbers on here.
Just saying and thanks for the non apology. Your a class act.

12.) 13 Feb 2026 20:46:06
There's some glory hunters on here aswell that turn their backs on the club when results aren't good.

13.) 13 Feb 2026 21:48:54
Frog, mate, you forget I’ve had 30 years in an evidence based Police career. I’ve spent a big chunk of it in numerous meetings with CPS barristers and solicitors all over the country including, on many occasions, the Inns of Court in London on whether the evidence obtained is sufficient to secure charging and the prospect of conviction.

Your post is interesting as is the media discussion but I can hear a senior barrister saying…
Were you present at the meeting Mr M allegedly had with several senior players?
Do you know or have any record from anyone present at the meeting as to what was discussed or said?
Has anyone even admitted such a meeting even took place? Or given an account of what was discussed?

In conclusion, if not, it’s hearsay and gossip, perfect on a Rumours and media website but no where enough to proceed
Sorry, but that’s how it is and how I roll.
I will, of course, apologise if any solid evidence emerges to confirm the story

Or.

14.) 13 Feb 2026 22:40:12
No one will know what really happened
But putting it simply, marinakis wasn't impressed with the performance against Palace Leeds and wolves and neither was i or the vast majority of supporters?
So whoever he chose to speak to player wise is irrelevant
He obviously wanted to hear from a players point of view, but in reality had decided to axe dyche anyway and rightly so.

15.) 13 Feb 2026 23:18:57
Tbh I've only had one court case and I won, hear say is irrelevant as its not possible to prove
Its al about actually facts and evidence?
Short statement but true.

16.) 13 Feb 2026 23:21:51
High horse or what? ? Stokey get a grip, that ginger boyfriend of yours has gone. Remind me of something, is this not the "rumours" section of the site? The key word is in its name "rumour". Journalists whispers and usually total crap but sometimes there's substance. ?.

17.) 14 Feb 2026 08:45:45
Red Robin, that’s exactly what I said “perfect on a rumours or social media website “. I’m sure some on here can’t be bothered to read the whole post…. understandably perhaps ?
DTP exactly. Hearsay and gossip don’t mean jack ?. I think I only lost one case at Court in 30 years where I was OIC. And that was when the main witness bottled out….

18.) 14 Feb 2026 12:46:52
Honestly Stokey i read the first few lines then scan over the context. ? ?.

19.) 14 Feb 2026 15:20:17
Again, that’s why I used the word “understandably” mate! ??.

20.) 16 Feb 2026 21:09:41
If it's true, then they aren't backstabbers. It was 5 employees being asked by the owner a question and answering it. Dyche was useless.

27 Jan 2026 17:31:36
Looks like we have made enquiries about Lewis Dunk! Plus have an offer in for Mateta- at least with Luiz going the treatment room will be thankful.

RedFrog

1.) 28 Jan 2026 22:41:22
Dyche and dunk ball?
Why do we need a cart horse like dunk?

02 Jan 2024 20:11:37
Worrying reports tonight that the Premier League are looking at us over financial fair play. Shame given some of the dross we have paid out for -I know we sold Johnson but it could be a serious matter for us.

RedFrog

1.) 03 Jan 2024 06:51:49
They may stop us getting anymore players, which is not such a bad thing?.

2.) 03 Jan 2024 07:54:37
The Premier League will take Chelsea's and City's points deduction and give it to us and the Toffee's.

3.) 03 Jan 2024 09:29:07
Could effect a potential Navas loan?

4.) 03 Jan 2024 11:54:34
The PL is looking at everyone, it's the annual check of club accounts and we (and every other club) will find out if we've been good boys or not on 14th January. It's only the press that are targetting Forest as 'most likely', no the PL.

5.) 03 Jan 2024 14:08:01
I think we'll probably be OK:-

A few points.

We spent around 85m on wages last season; this excludes any income we received from players going out on loan.

Our liability on amortised transfer fees for last season was around 50m, you can add another 5m on top of that for loan fees.

That comes to around 140m

Our earnings from the PL will be a minimum of 114m

Our earnings from gate receipts will be around 30m, with another couple of million for the cup run.

We should have cleared another 5m from commercial rights and another 2m for additional corporate earnings.

I would guess that our earnings will be at least 150m - that would give a 30m margin of error - 10m plus the 20m we are allowed to lose

The Premier League allows any losses directly caused by the c.v. to be discounted from FFP calculations. Forest have previously said that the adverse impact of c.v. was £16.7million across 2019-20 and 2020-21.

Where we do have a problem is promotion bonuses for the year we went up. We didn't budget for these, so probably went outside the limit that season. Will we be sanctioned for that? If so, I'd say it is unlikely to be a 10 point deduction effectively for getting promoted unexpectedly.

6.) 03 Jan 2024 15:10:47
Interesting analysis RC. I've read that our championship losses used up our 'allowance'. £13 million per season and £35 million for first PL season, we overspent by £61 million before promotion.
Crux will be, what have we spent and generated in our first season back?
It would appear we're not allowed any losses, so BJ sale could be crucial. I like Forest in the news but prefer if it was footballing issues.

7.) 03 Jan 2024 22:31:21
Brennan Johnson transfer fee was 'pure profit'. Which apparently is quite important when factored into FFP. Not totally sure, though, as I've not really looked into that side of it all.

8.) 04 Jan 2024 08:44:55
Accounts for 2022/ 23 ended June, Johnson was sold in September so won't be included in the accounts.

Forest will argue they kept him beyond June to claim an extra £10m+ on his transfer fee.

Think it's going to be tight. Hopefully Big M has a few contacts.

9.) 04 Jan 2024 16:48:39
Steve, the big man does have contacts but unfortunately they’re all in Greece mate! ??.

10.) 08 Jan 2024 17:07:18
Eric Dier offered to Forest on loan apparently. sounds like rubbish to me!

14 Jun 2023 17:42:55
Brentford bid 30 million for Johnson.

Dream on.

Who’s been smoking the crack pipe down in London? Obviously we rejected out of hand.

RedFrog

1.) 14 Jun 2023 19:19:09

2.) 14 Jun 2023 22:11:23
Ivan Toney bet on us keeping him so must be good.

3.) 17 Jun 2023 10:25:44
He will want another year with us at least to establish himself as a top striker.

16 Apr 2023 13:31:07
Well I’m in the boozer before kick off. Big rumours that Steven Gerard will be at the City Ground today. So keep your eyes out folks ?.

RedFrog

1.) 16 Apr 2023 14:03:55
More likely to be keeping an eye on parked cars for a few quid than anything else.

2.) 16 Apr 2023 14:14:02
I don’t think a young inexperienced manager such as Gerrard or Viera have any chance of saving Forest, infact it’s frying pan into the fire. Who did Crystal Palace replace Viera with a 70 yr old. We would be better with a Sam A, Harry, or Benitez.

3.) 16 Apr 2023 14:29:11
Sacking Vieira worked for palace as they brought in a manger who knows the club and players. Sacking the manager hasn't helped southampton or Leicester.

4.) 16 Apr 2023 16:30:00
'arry has sunk every club he's been to!

Correct result in the end, especially considering all three times we have played them. Big shout out to Yates, Captain fantastic.
I have to say Pereira, what were you doing?
2-0 up with your B team - leave it alone, man! We were in control and attacked with purpose down the flanks - as soon as the changes were made they came right back into it.

Comedy management - Inspector Clouseau at his best!

RedFrog

2.) 20 Mar 2026 03:47:53
Agree, Redfrog. He made too many changes too soon, and when MGW came on McAtee was a different player. We didn't need MGW last night.

3.) 20 Mar 2026 04:23:24
Agree, Jester. We should have played as long as possible with the B squad, let them see it through, giving the main bunch a complete rest.

4.) 20 Mar 2026 07:05:22
Definitely agree, Frog. As soon as we made changes, we went defensive, and looked like we could get beat.

19 Mar 2026 06:21:17
Love it Retty here’s or new song

Come on feel the noise
Forest are our boys
We just can’t score
Under Pereira it lose or draw
Come on feel the noise
6000 shots to score
But it still ends in a dull draw
With no passion we just bore,
Come on feel the noise …….

1.) 19 Mar 2026 09:34:53
Don't suppose VP will play Lucca and Jesus as twin strikers tonight, nothing to lose.

2.) 19 Mar 2026 11:49:11
Personally, as I've said in here before, I'd take the B team and leave the big guns at home. Spurs already have the advantage over us for Sunday, with an extra days recovery and no travelling to do. They rested a few last night, most noticeably Richarlison and Solanke, and still managed a win, pointless though it was.
I'd play (in a 4231) Gunn, then unfortunately I'd have to play Aina and Williams at full back (it's a pity Netz wasnt included in the Europa squad), with Morato and Abbott at centre back, Yates and Dominquez holding them, Bakwa, McAteer and Ndoye behind Lucca.
I'm sorry for those of you who have paid for tickets and transport. If it does turn ugly (as it might well do), perhaps Mr M could find a bit of loose change down the back of his settee and offer reimbursement.

I've never been to Herning where Midtjylland are based (I didn't know that until I googled it), but Copenhagen is a brilliant city to visit. Great beer, lots to see and very friendly people. I used to catch a converted WW2 landing craft to travel from my hotel in the meat packing district right into the Old Town, like catching a bus. Always regular, cheap, clean and on time!
We have to bite the bullet, I'm afraid. If our recruitment had been better, and we were comfortably ensconced in mid table, we could have had a right good go at the Europa, but, as the saying goes, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
VP is a good and experienced manager and will do what's necessary selection wise, bearing in mind the crock of ? he's inherited from our owner and his minions....

3.) 19 Mar 2026 14:04:47
Stokey, according to his record, he is not a good manager. He was sacked by Wolves and essentially led them into the hole they find themselves in today. Rob Edwards has turned the same squad around and has had a remarkable series of recent results. How VP became manager of our club only Edu/ Big M know. If the players turn up, for the fans' sake, as they ought, we will be safe. Tonight's game is an irrelevance. We essentially played our best team last week and lost.

I don't think they have lost all season at home. Anderson, MGW and Murillo should rest. Just as Tudor's first win last night, maybe we can do the same, but without any of the players who will play Sunday. This is a very big game should we lose and then drop into oblivion. Unbelievably, VP in one season will have managed 2/3 of the relegated clubs, which must be an unenviable record.

4.) 19 Mar 2026 16:25:35
Nuno, mate, I think VP's record this season has been taken out of context and skewed statistically.
He's had previous success with Porto and Olympiakos, and last season took Wolves from out of the bottom 3 and finished comfortably in the top half of the Premiership.
This season their owners, who sound about as mad as ours, sold his best players from under his feet (Cunha to Man Utd £63 million, Rayan to Man City £24 million and Fabio Silva to a German club for a similar amount) without adequate replacements.
I think their upturn in form under Rob Edwards has come about because they've got rid of disruptive players such as Strand Larson, and the pressure is off because they are building for next season in the Championship.

To put it in perspective, they have to win 4 out of their last 7 games to even have a minimum chance of staying up.
Obviously, VP doesn't have the record of a Pep or Arteta, but despite the squad disruption managerially, lack of pre season, and the general crock of ? he's inherited, he is a good manager and I believe he will keep us up.

5.) 19 Mar 2026 16:46:14
I would not say Edwards has turned around Wolves.
Agree with Stokey on this.
Despite the situation, I do believe VP has potential to become a good manager.
He's inherited a team extremely low on confidence, with a deep lack of self belief.
You can only play the hand you're dealt with.

6.) 19 Mar 2026 17:00:52
Well, it looks like I got 90 per cent of the team selection right! Hey Munmad, mate, gissa job. ???

17 Mar 2026 17:52:47
Well done to Chelsea - the new owners brought the problem to light. Just like Forest went straight to Premier League when the Brennan Johnson money was delayed.
The big difference is the Chelsea situation was originally underhand and possibly fraudulent? The Forest situation was bad luck.
Result - a slap on the wrist for Chelsea (apparently the Abramovitch trust will be paying the fine) and Forest docked points. Hypocrisy at its best.

Expect the Premier League to swing into action to save Spurs and West Ham - can’t have 60,000 seat stadiums in the championship after all. Plus lose all that Far East money from their coffers.
I am disgusted today. Absolutely disgusted and I am sure, more than ever now, that something isn’t right with the whole set up in the Premier League. Do we expect a whole load of dodgy decisions against us before season end? Let’s see.

RedFrog

1.) 17 Mar 2026 18:58:16
Red frog, the 'Save Spurs' campaign started Sunday. Forest get denied a borderline 'offside' goal, which could have been given due to the degree of tolerance built into the system. Meanwhile, at Anfield, Richarlison strolls back from 2 yards offside to join in with play and scores a last minute equaliser.

No one does a thing. Get ready for more of the same Sunday. Tottenham have its estimated 180 million followers worldwide, we have estimated 2-5 million. Who do you think the money men will want to stay up?

2.) 17 Mar 2026 19:19:53
Absolutely agree with both Redfrog's and Stevie's posts, and if I was a betting man, I'd put a tenner on a certain Mr A Taylor reffing the game. Problem is that our passionate owner doesn't conform with the Premier League's establishment. It's going to be a tough call for the rest of the season, just got to keep the faith.

3.) 17 Mar 2026 19:33:34
Agree, Stevie and Vale, this has a whiff of the sewer to me. I'm sure VAR will be in overdrive to ensure we go down.

4.) 17 Mar 2026 19:56:37
I agree with all the above posts. ?

5.) 17 Mar 2026 19:58:50
I think we got Michael Oliver.

6.) 17 Mar 2026 20:06:14
If we play like we've been playing, it won't make no difference, lol. All season we've been poor. Now the conspiracy theories come out. We should never be in this position in the first place, all thanks to Edu and Mr M. Conspiracy theories. ?? Desperation more like.

7.) 17 Mar 2026 22:42:25
Got to agree with you there, Stellaboy.
Stevie, offside is offside, mate. I can't remember being so happy and celebrating a goal so enthusiastically as that Ndoye goal. I was gutted when it was disallowed, but having seen it on TV afterwards, it was correct, unfortunately.
I do, however, think there are 2 sets of rules.

8.) 17 Mar 2026 23:07:15
Gazzi, I'm not denying that, but the VAR images are semi automated. I don't trust VAR, did you see the Spurs goal? And where did Richarlison come from?

9.) 18 Mar 2026 07:06:38
Our fate is in our own hands, never mind conspiracy theories. It will be the players who will win this game. Tomorrow night has a bearing, irrespective of who plays. A drubbing, even if it's the second 11, is morale sapping. All the players train every day together and are a team.

10.) 18 Mar 2026 07:41:18
If we go down, we will have to own it as a club. If we stay up, ditto. Sorted.

11.) 18 Mar 2026 08:53:14
I'm with the conspiracy nutz, VAR is controlled from a bunker under Area 51 with Elvis and Darth Vader viewing the images. ?

12.) 18 Mar 2026 09:47:02
Red Robin, if you don't think the Prem is bent towards their paymasters, look at Chelsea's punishment and its leniency, and the failure to even prosecute the case against Manchester City.

13.) 18 Mar 2026 14:04:35
Yeah, I heard Grand Moff Tarkin will referee Sunday's game with Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi as his pair of assistants. Beam me up, Stevie. ?

14.) 18 Mar 2026 14:16:10
Mind you, tongue in cheek that one. ? The whole AFCON thing is an absolute farce. The officials definitely leaned towards Morocco in the tournament, Senegal stood up to it, and have now been stripped of their title. Now that's corruption in action.
The Chelsea punishment should be reviewed.

In a court of law, sentencing can be reviewed if seen as too lenient. Fans need to make this heard, and the only way is on match day. Next game im at (Sunderland) I will be armed with bed linen a la DTP. Of course it will be spelt slightly better, but will be aimed at two-tier justice of the Premier League. ?

15.) 18 Mar 2026 18:20:45
Hope it's not one of Tracy Emons sheets, dirty mare!

Senegal decision a disgrace, as if African football needed anymore spotlights to highlight how bent it is. Is Morrocos win given in 90+2 months minute, unbelievable Jeff.

Agree on the if we go down, it's not Vars fault, I don't think we will but can't blame that.

17 Mar 2026 12:17:08
Are illegal payments fraudulent? And using unregistered agents illegal? Are there any VAT and Inland Revenue aspects to Chelsea under reporting of transfer activity? All seems very odd to me. Winning titles and trophies with players acquired under the radar.

RedFrog

1.) 17 Mar 2026 21:54:30
You would think there would be VAT and Inland Revenue implications Frog but Abramovitch ( like Putin and all the Russian oligarchs) are masters of money laundering and creative accounting. Been at it for generations mate .

Well said, Redvale. So sad and bitter. I just don't understand the continued need to dig at people. Many folks don't like my posts, but they have the decency to scroll past and not reply, which is what I will be doing from now on. And I will defend Skegs and Larry, who have every right to hold an opinion.

I agreed to disagree with Skegs ages ago, and like his lighthearted banter from the safety of his grand recliner. Supporting a club is a wide church and should be considered as so.

No use saving our better players for Sunday - on last night's showing, Spurs will beat us anyway. They look a completely different team after their draw at Liverpool.
It's just so sad how this season is ending, sleepwalking under a clueless manager towards the Championship.
I feel really sorry for the fans who have travelled, it's a hard enough watch on TV.

Newcastle finding the net - what an entertaining game. Nice to see two teams have a real go at each other, not playing sideways football, and having to have 105 shots on goal to finally score one.
