NEP throwing some doubt on the da Costa move tonight quoting a GIF off the players twitter feed of Barak Obama shrugging his shoulders and some reference for his followers to not believe what has been written in France about the proposed move.

He's not really in a situation to do anything else. We can't read too much into it.

2.) 28 Jan 2020 09:23:57
Good! He'd most likely be a project. We want promotion this season.

Augustin confirmed to Leeds, ex PSG striker with great pedigree. Such a shame we couldn’t have pulled that one out of the bag. Let’s hope something better comes out way.

Quite a few games coming up at home now, we need to start playing two up front, getting on the front foot and actually attacking teams. I would give Brennan Johnson a go just behind Grabban, give the lad four or five games and see how he does. With the loss of form by Lolley and Adomah, perhaps Mighten should also be given a chance. We can’t do any worse that the previous dross served up at home, so come on SL, let’s be brave and have a go!

RedFrog

1.) 27 Dec 2019 21:26:37
I do agree about Johnson but it is doubtful the head coach will do that.

2.) 27 Dec 2019 22:02:23
Problem is if Lamouchi does and it doesn't go well its head on the block, while I like your enthusiasm and in a way and in a perfect football world I'd like to se that, but when kids come through and they don't hit the ground running they get slaughtered by fans.

3.) 28 Dec 2019 09:52:12
Coaches talk about our great history but they don't have the bottle to take us back. Cloughie would have given Brennan a run in the team by now.

You're right about the pressure changing how willing to take a risk coaches are. If we had a secure boss then we could throw out youngsters more often.

Although a result is needed, I think a good performance is more important. The past few games have been poor, and having watched us a lot this season we aren’t the most creative of teams. We haven’t got our own style of play yet and have been very boring at times.

RedFrog

1.) 02 Nov 2019 17:51:49
Well you got the result and the performance, alls good .

01 Oct 2019 22:17:59
The big question is “how long can we keep getting away with it? ”
We were poor at times against Rovers, Worrall and Samba were however great and Watson had a decent game again.

1.) 01 Oct 2019 22:29:58
You make me laugh red frog we are one point from the top of the league and your still not happy and they call me victor?
Get a grip it's a new side a new manager and still your not happy?
"UNBELIEVABLE "🤪🤪.

2.) 01 Oct 2019 23:44:17
Samba was great barring the goal as he was lazy thinking the block from defenders had worked should have saved it but redeemed himself later.

3.) 02 Oct 2019 06:48:39
I would say last year we would of played crap and lost because our heads lowered when the opposistion scored but now we have a fighting mentallity and keep going till the end. For me this is a 100% improvement from last season and to be fair if we can go away to place like Blackburn and get a point then its a good nights work. COYRs.

4.) 02 Oct 2019 10:17:52
The Rovers fans were thankful for a point as they recognised what a strong well organised team Forest were so your comment is off the mark Redfrog!

Our only fault was letting the game open up after equalizing instead of pressing them higher up the pitch which put us under pressure late on but we never really looked like losing.

5.) 02 Oct 2019 15:11:36
I couldn't quite believe the angle Armstrong finished from. Great finish from Lolley, thought he should have scored in the first minute but would have taken a point before kick off.

We conceded so many corners last night and previous years we would have conceded at least one of those, we are so much more resilient. Tough game on Sat ahead but here isn't many easy ones.

6.) 02 Oct 2019 20:55:42
Well summed up Ginger!

7.) 02 Oct 2019 22:03:53
I thought it a very entertaining championship game on a filthy rainy day, it had passion and every player from both sides gave everything, its not premier league football but it was good honest hard working teams who gave their all.
We'd have lost that last season with a thrashing that's how far Lamouchi has taken us in a short time.

It’s the big question every Forest fan has to ask themselves. Do we want to be entertained and watch good passing football like under Warburton which inevitably lost, or do we put up with some of the worst football ever witnessed like under Lamouchi which grinds out results and points? That’s the nettle we have to grasp.

1.) 08 Mar 2020 14:11:04
I only care about winning Red frog . Keep ya sexy football for me, it’s no good if you can’t win - I think we could be a bit more expansive at home and win though .

2.) 08 Mar 2020 14:28:51
Whether it's luck or not, QPR under Warbs are moving up the table.

07 Mar 2020 13:03:02
Silva and Figueiredo aside, the Portuguese crap we’ve had pumped into our club over the past couple of years is ridiculous. We can’t copy the wolves template as they have had the pick of the available and affordable talent already. We are left with the scraps that they don’t want. Some big agents fees earned no doubt whilst draining the lifeblood out of our club.

RedFrog

1.) 07 Mar 2020 14:10:13
Is Riberio not Portuguese?

02 Mar 2020 21:17:44
Crappy Boro hadn’t scored in over 5 hours of play, then we turn up and make them look like they are top of the league. Yates (goal aside) Ameobi, Semedo and now Diakhaby all passengers just watching the game go by. Atrocious performance.

Just seeing the teams on sky line up in the tunnel and it was apparent that Cardiff were physically bigger than Forest, just hope we don’t get out muscled tonight without Sow.
COYR.

This referee is absolutely atrocious. The blatant handball at WBA was bad enough, but this muppet takes the biscuit. So much going on off the ball, and the ref is clueless. Again penalties not given to us, it’s a recurring theme.

RedFrog

1.) 22 Feb 2020 16:51:20
Nothing to do with the ref, the team is absolutely toothless just can't score. Home firm a disgrace. See the circus is back in town, Carvalho 🤡.

2.) 22 Feb 2020 16:58:56
Kinda knew today wouldn't be easy.

3.) 22 Feb 2020 17:01:36
We had plenty of chances just didn't take them, same old story.

4.) 22 Feb 2020 18:57:47
Red balloons my husband goes to every home match at forest and comes home miserable. To top it off if he wants to keep his season ticket he has to pay before the 16th of March. Now who are the clowns.

Perhaps he should go play for Leeds eh 79? There’s not a day goes past when you don’t mention them on this site.

Well said FawazMark2. I really hope this has nothing to do with Mendes who has already earned a small fortune for supplying dross and rejects to our club.

About as mobile as Murphy.
What is going on? DOF is useless, do we have a scouting network in this country? The foreign experiment failed last season, it’s going the same this time round. Filling the club with loanees and nondescripts from the continent. We are a laughing stock.

He’s a walking foul, red and yellow cards just waiting to happen. His passing hasn’t been the best tonight and he skied his only chance way over the bar. Hopefully he will be better second half.

Yeh great performance especially first half. The ref was awful tonight and I saw their manager wasn’t happy with SL after full time. Don’t know why, he couldn’t complain at the result.

I’ve watched some footage of da Costa on YouTube, seems to finish quite well into the corners and sides of the goal. Wether he is Championship quality remains to be seen, but let’s give him a warm welcome if he does arrive. I would still recall Walker, the kid has done everything asked of him- and more.

Agree Smithy, it’s tough for Grabs but overall I thought that was a much improved second half display. Lolley looking dangerous, though Adomah and Sow were passengers.

Red Tech it feels like another one is slipping through the net. Just the sort of player we need but sadly looks like he is going elsewhere.
