So the wheels are in motion, Hinshelwood, Jones and Bergvall. They are the options we are looking at to replace Ando. Apparently the Italian lad wants to stay in Italy.
Personally, as I said before I'd go for Jones and he's probably the cheaper option of the three. ?

Hackney, Engels, Frattesi, Jones, Bergvall. Take your pick.

We should snap Openda up ASAP. We need attackers, not just Ando replacement.

We also STILL need a FB. Even Nuno worked that out.

Dunno if anyone has heard but Edu has been asked by Mr M to stay away from the WFCG and training ground. Haha bye bye Edu. ??.

Perhaps the scales have fallen (belatedly) from our owners' eyes too.

2.) 07 Mar 2026 14:17:53
He's gone, you're fired. ???

3.) 07 Mar 2026 22:17:56
Said if on here months ago, even before Nuno got the chop. Things didn't settle at Arsenal until he left, power hungry and unsettled everything.

Strange rumour that's been circling the Premier league for years "Dyche is a football coach", is he? Doesn't look like one to me, a team full of creative international class players being dragged back to make two banks of five and then launching it as far as possible to hopefully get within thirty yards of someone or something. Hang on maybe he's a Rugby coach? ??.

How about Stefan Ortega? Out of contact in the summer and tbh a keeper i really rate, good stop stopper and fantastic distribution. Apparently we're sniffing around him with a view to a move in this window. ?.

RedRobinHood

1.) 31 Jan 2026 10:39:32
Wouldn't be a transfer window unless Forest buy 2/ 3 goalies!.
Agree though he's worth getting can't see Victor ever playing for us again.

29 Jan 2026 11:16:29
As an alternatives to Mateta we are reportedly looking at Ferguson and Jhon Duran, the latter would definitely be a coup.
As for Stirling and Dunk, just paper talk and really don't fit the recruitment model. ?.

RedRobinHood

1.) 30 Jan 2026 21:22:53
Dunk we a made a serious offer for.

2.) 30 Jan 2026 23:17:07
Be thankful they turned us down then, maybe 2 or 3 years ago but now i really don't see the point. ?.

3.) 31 Jan 2026 22:54:39
Nuno wanted traore
Dyche wanted dunk and mcneil?
Thank god they don't get the players they want.

This will no doubt be controversial. Is it time to offload Woody? He's been a fantastic servant to the club, but is it time to offer him up to the newly promoted sides or the MLS? ?

RedRobinHood

1.) 25 Jul 2026 11:36:17
Yes, it is. He still has a year left on his contract, but rather than sell him, I think we owe it to him to let him move on rather than be a bit-part player this season.

Best 15m we ever spent.

2.) 25 Jul 2026 11:38:24
Yea, he's shot it, mate. Good striker, but not class.

3.) 25 Jul 2026 11:45:55
Good question, RRH. I think this will be his last season, certainly at this level. He is managing a permanent injury. Top man and top professional that he is, I don't think we will get anywhere near a full season out of him.

I'd keep him this season if only for the example he sets to the rest of the squad and as a fall back impact sub.
(Now I've said that, he'll probably score another 20 goals).

4.) 25 Jul 2026 13:03:14
Good old "Plankov".
Made a lot of so called experts on here, who know nothing about football, eat their their words. ????????

5.) 25 Jul 2026 14:03:29
This Givario Read looks a young talent. .20 million could be a bargain. Fast, knows how to put a good cross in, takes on players. Hopefully we can get it done.

6.) 25 Jul 2026 14:06:22
I think Wood is too slow now, and he's been a great signing, but it would probably be better for him to drop down a league. Maybe he could do a job back in NZ leagues, but his body isn't healing at his age.

7.) 25 Jul 2026 14:22:01
Woody has never needed to be fast.hes a goal poacher.but mid 30s isn't healing at is age god help us if a poster cuts his finger on here most of the posters are ancient ???

8.) 25 Jul 2026 17:11:27
Woody is quick enough over 10 yards to get the edge on defenders in the box. A superb football brain gets him an extra split second, too. His stats don't lie. A brilliant and prolific scorer of goals and a top pro.

9.) 25 Jul 2026 22:06:39
Be pointless selling him.
Get very little, and he can do a job either starting or off the bench.
Jesus will come of age this season, mark my words.
He had no break from football for nearly two years, due to the Brazilian league ending and signing for us.

Wood got injured, and Kaleumundo was sent out on loan and vastly overused.
We will see a different player, and he wasn't that bad last season.

A wee bit random but I just had a pint with Liam Gibson, just signed for Hartlepool. The Mrs and I were down Seaton having a nice drink overlooking the beach and along comes this ginger giant and his Mrs, I have to be honest, I thought it was Ben Stokes to start with, his lack of tattoos was telling though.

But yeah, politely ask if they could share our table. Seems a nice guy but, his Mrs, scary little woman, sharp, direct and has more muscle than the other three of us put together. ??

RRH
"When the Himalayan peasant meets the he bear in his pride
He will shout to scare the monster, who will often turn aside
But the she bear thus accosted rends the peasant tooth and nail
For the female of the species is more deadly than the male " .

These days, whenever I read Kipling, it makes me think of our dear friend Bowie. Very funny, shrewd and worldly wise, always with a serious point to make .
??

2.) 25 Jul 2026 13:41:23
She looks like she should be in Gladiators.

3.) 25 Jul 2026 22:20:27
Not when it comes to Ribena and packing a case, Stokey. ?
Sos Bowie, but that was a fun weekend, pal.

And the pantomime begins, looking forward to seeing Sesame Street at half-time, I'm interested to see which characters Trump and Infantino will be playing. ?

2.) 19 Jul 2026 21:20:45
Yes! Rooney finally says something right!
"Wayne, what did you think of the half-time show?"... "It was cr?p." ?

3.) 19 Jul 2026 22:23:16
We did what Spain have failed to do, score.
Only Tommy knows why he decided to screw it up.
Like I said from the start of the World Cup, Argentina know what it takes to win it, horrible to watch but they don't care what anyone thinks of them.

4.) 19 Jul 2026 22:30:09
Horrible isn't the word. ? Dodgy ref now helping them. ?

18 Jul 2026 19:32:21
A great run out this afternoon from the lads by all accounts. Happy for Kalimuendo, always said that there's a lot of potential with him.
Now time to watch the big boys sink the Argies in their own backyard. Revenge is always best served a few days later, once its simmered. Happy days. Come on England! ?

Ernest is very similar to Hutch, fast, tricky, and capable of Poku-ing the ball in the net. Haha, see what I did there. In all seriousness, he's extremely highly rated, two-footed, and dangerous. I'd honestly be very surprised if we could actually get him. ?

It's all speculation, MGW isn't going anywhere. Just bored reporters adding one to two and getting four. Yates should stay captain, as he's the only academy player that's a regular in the squad. Besides, it's Glasner's choice and I would imagine he has a better idea than us. ?

Murillo can:
A: Borrow my Mrs if he wants.
B: Double as a fridge.
C: Can never be beaten.
D: Walk on water.
He's a centre back, end of. ?

Talking of overweight, I've been blagged into playing for a local Sunday league side tomorrow. Hoping that St Johns will be attending. ? Not sure if Messi's example of not running will work in centre mid. ? ?

Agreed, Skegs, if MGW is valued around the same as an example. We should be able to get a more experienced player in for a whole lot less. ?
