Good morning Forest fans, and whoever else might be reading.

No idea what the two 45 minutes of football was about with Barca and Udinise, except more fitness training on front of paying fans!

Great news I hear on the grapevine, thank you Mervin Gaye, is that Diamonde is having a medical at Forest Sunday/Monday.

Reindeer is now wanted by Villa and Newcastle, do Forest get a finder's fee for that one?

Hopefully the paperwork with go through without a hitch, so OG will be happier! Now let's see a quality midfielder, attacker and back up keeper through the door. Someone mentioned Pope, which is a great shout!

Am I correct in reading that we now have agreement with Sporting for Diamonde? The deal that was dead has come back alive and well it would seem!

I've just been informed that Diamondes' agent wanted more of a slice of the transfer fee, but Forest said No!

Rumour is that Raindeer is going to the Saudi Pro League, so we have dodged a bullet if he wants money instead of decent game time! He will probably be a success out there on mega money, whilst dribbling around camels ? and donkeys. ? ? ?

Good result, good performance, good shape! Now let's get Munoz in if we can prise him from Palace, with the usual shot going on with them! Solanke has been suggested in the press, but at 28, plus the injuries, is he viable? Was a brilliant striker before he went to Spurs!

Redtreekeeff

1.) 13 Aug 2026 08:25:23
The injury thing worries me. The old Solanke would be perfect for our system, but would you risk it if it was your money? Liam Delap would be a good signing if they didn't want stupid money.

The risk attached to both means it needs to be at the right price.

Just read an article regarding Chelski, they've signed yet another player! How? Do they still have Russian mobster money stashed away in a dressing room locker?

If you visit London these days, you are never more than ten metres from a Chelsea squad member. ?

2.) 12 Aug 2026 12:35:15
I'm amazed that Man City haven't been punished, with the new season imminent. What's going on there?
Time for the Government's football regulator to step in, I think, and start setting a few time limitations.
It's embarrassing.

According to the so-called Super Computer, Arsenal to retain the title, Man City 2nd, Giropool 3rd lol, 3 promoted sides to go straight back down! But it has Forest in 17th place, just narrowly above Coventry ? ? ?. So save your money on tickets, no need to watch any football at all!

What a load of Toshiba and a complete waste of time!

1.) 11 Aug 2026 21:43:08
Liverpool won't make top 6. Forest will make top 10. Arsenal will be runners up again and super computer is a ZX81. ??

2.) 11 Aug 2026 22:06:21
Anyway, off to bed, lads. Looking forward to the Bayern Leverkusen match tomorrow night. In fact, looking forward to this season more than any in a long time. Decent manager, decent players, an owner that's in tune with the manager, and both want the same thing: to win. Living the Forest dream. Night night. ?

3.) 12 Aug 2026 06:18:05
Er'e Skeggs???
You on some sort of medication mate???
???

4.) 12 Aug 2026 07:31:46
I've already said Forest will finish 8th behind Arsenal, City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Villa and Spurs.

5.) 12 Aug 2026 07:58:25
You did, Munmad. And no, Rogie, just living the Forest dream. ?

6.) 12 Aug 2026 08:21:11
We had all those things under VP, but our illustrious leader decided to change it all. Now we are minus Anderson... Just keeping things in perspective.

7.) 12 Aug 2026 08:50:18
VP was never going to be long term, Stokie. Not good enough or ambitious enough. Like the couple before him, stop gaps till the right manager come along. Now we have him. ? And who's Anderson? We will not be hearing that name much in the Premier League this season at Man City.

So why don't you just enjoy being a Forest fan under a good manager. Living the Mr M Glasner Forest dream.

8.) 12 Aug 2026 10:51:33
I was enjoying the football and results under a very good manager.
And no manager is long term at our basket case club anyway, Skeggs.
We'll wait and see, shall we?

9.) 12 Aug 2026 11:37:44
It's good to see what you think of our club, Stokie. Where's your doom brother, Ripley? I notice he hasn't been on since our new signing. Obviously, you can't slate Mr M now for him not backing Glasner. We love Mr M uredddssss uredddssss.

10.) 12 Aug 2026 11:43:35
What did the Pooper computer say the season Leicester lifted the title? Or when we got into Europe?

11.) 12 Aug 2026 11:52:42
My views of "our" club have never changed, Skeggs. I always back the incumbent manager. What's past is past. But, as a supporter and fan, nearly 60 years, I'm entitled to an opinion, and I'm uneasy with the way it's gone and is going.
Even more so, as you appear to be full of enthusiasm and anticipation. Always a bad sign. ???

12.) 12 Aug 2026 12:42:19
Not really, Stokie. I was the same with Nuno, and he got us into Europe. How did your excitement go with Dyche. ???

13.) 12 Aug 2026 12:47:59
There you go again, Skeggs... DDS Dyche Derangement Syndrome, mate. It's about time you started charging rent.
Help is out there. ???

14.) 12 Aug 2026 13:38:38
No help needed. Hope it doesn't get on your nerves mentioning Dyche, Stokie. Now you knew how we felt every day Dyche was in charge, listening to how great he was from you. Have a great night at the Cherry Orchid, pal. ?

15.) 12 Aug 2026 13:48:05
It makes me laugh, and at the same time undermines your credibility on here, Skeggs, so keep it coming, mate. ?????
It's "The Cherry Orchard" not "Orchid".
Chekhov was a great playwright, not a flower arranger, but thanks anyway. ??

16.) 12 Aug 2026 14:04:17
Sorry, Stokie, sounds really exciting. Russian love story about a cherry orchid. Enjoy anyway. ?

Welcome to the WFCG Diamonde, we are very pleased to see you sign for the Tricky Trees. Settle in very quickly, make yourself comfortable in your new home!

Diomande in the house as predicted. ?

2.) 11 Aug 2026 12:49:06
Brilliant news, Skegsy!

3.) 11 Aug 2026 13:17:06
You have to be right once, Skegsjay. ?

4.) 11 Aug 2026 13:38:43
Hey Munmad, you've already changed your line ups for the Leeds game twice in a week. Here's another prediction: you will change it again by the end of next week. But hey, after trying to get it right for 4 years, just maybe you will get it right one day. Like I might win the lottery one day. ? ?

5.) 11 Aug 2026 13:52:48
I'm a trier mate.

6.) 11 Aug 2026 16:39:47
Looking forward to the next couple of weeks. Think there will be at least 2 more big signings, then we're ready. Rock solid at the back now uredddssss.

I wouldn't mind Yates staying at the WFCG, he wears the shirt well, puts a shift in, and he breaks up play really well. I seem to remember it was Yates who put the cross in for MGW to get his hat trick against Burnley! Yates would be on my team sheet before a few of these newbies, who just want to pick up wages for no sweat!

Diamonde deal collapsed not due to money, but a major fallout between the negotiation teams!

The player must be well miffed, because he's not been training with Sporting!!!!
