Some bloke called Jashari from Club Bruges has apparently turned us down because he wants to go to Milan.
Pity because if his first name is anything to go by, he would definitely be up to the job.

We seem to have a penchant for bidding for players who don't want to come. Have to hope at some stage we find somebody who does want to grace the CG.

2.) 13 Jul 2025 14:34:41
He could have stiff competition getting a game, the last thing we need is a flop, he looks confident, you could say cock sure of himself?.

23 Jun 2024 19:56:31
Probably just lazy journalism but we're supposedly after Gnonto from Leeds.
Whenever I've seen him play I've thought he's a right pain in the arsenal so it's a yes from me if it's true.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 24 Jun 2024 15:23:33
He’d be a good challenge to the already excellent wingers we have in CHO and Elanga. He looks fast and tricky when I’ve seen him for Leeds and Italy.
It’s a yes also from me provided it doesn’t cost us points under FFP.

2.) 24 Jun 2024 19:24:13
Not heard a dickie bird about the interest in CHO from Spurs and others, thought he would be gone after all the speculation.

3.) 29 Jan 2019 12:48:49
Regular England youth international only 24 can play left back and centre back. Looks like we are covering Robinson. A pinch if only £500,000.

4.) 29 Jan 2019 13:45:29
Ex man u dross no thanks, look what happened when we had that Stewart from manutd admittedly many years ago but all he kept going on about was how they did things at old Trafford- I'm sure dj had a big fall out with him !

Good morning to all the happy people on here. Last night's conversations were very friendly weren't they? Now back to the football and there is a lot available in your area today. Non league football. Guarantee you will enjoy it. Get in, pint, pie all for about 15 quid. I'm off to Bridlington v Emley in the Northern Premier League East. Great afternoon out.

Enjoy mate.just back from a long walk with my mad Spaniel "Remus", place called The Lead Mines.
Part of Game of Thrones was filmed there.stunning views.
As a great old 80's Pop Group The Lotus Eaters one sang " See the flowers scream their joy!!"

2.) 21 Mar 2026 12:16:40
Fair play, Gazz and Rogie. I've just got back from taking the hound for a run down the beach. Off to watch the pools later, a win could have them well in playoff contention. Once the mist burnt off this morning, it was beautiful down Tees-mouth, watching the seals bobbin up to nose at the dog. Enjoy your day, gents. ?

Ff. My post way below saying "behave yourself" was said tongue in cheek, mate. It was my attempt at being humorous. I don't do laughing emojis like others do. Now that's cleared up, I would like to say that a lot of bitchiness has started again.

As far as I can see, you haven't said anything abusive since you returned and it's all been one way in your direction this time.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 20 Mar 2026 18:03:35
Are you replying to the invisible man, Gazzi?

2.) 20 Mar 2026 17:33:10
Gazzi This site has been poisoned by a small number of people, DTP came on and made a couple of points, and and the usual subjects were all over it, with their infantile name calling, then one of them saying I was constantly bringing up my forces career, which to my knowledge no one on here knew anything about til last week, on the rumour board, and a conversation with stokey, and I've been on here years.

Munmad had the same treatment, and again as far as I know, no one was aware of his past, used to be a decent site with people putting over their points, now the imaginary pub mob has reduced it to a school playground, pathetic.

3.) 20 Mar 2026 18:31:30
I think Gazzi, you will find that the gentleman in question used his first post back with a swipe at Red Frog, a little unnecessary in my opinion, but start off as you mean to go on seems to be his line of thought.

As I said before, it's been very pleasant on here for the last few weeks. Now everyone is at each other, all because of one individual.

4.) 20 Mar 2026 18:41:54
Well said Vale, mate, but unfortunately you are preaching to the wrong audience, they only pick and choose what to read and form opinions to suit themselves. ?

5.) 20 Mar 2026 19:00:38
I didn't take offence, Gazzi, mate.
I'm chilled. Some just can't behave, not that it bothers me. ?

6.) 20 Mar 2026 18:07:56
Mr baldy nobody cares if dtp is back or not.maybe the other posters are pissed off with him because of all of the crap he's gave them.i don't think Carlos been on for a long time because of it.

So please baldy let's not make it all about dtp i'm sure he's got big shoulders and can sort it out himself obviously of your giving posters crap be prepared to get it back.that's life anyway let's just get back to football hey!

7.) 20 Mar 2026 18:37:39
If you dislike us so much why take the time to reply? Love how you claim its us that start everything here yet constantly try insult our intelligence. Then try and play the victim. Poor little you.

??.
On my last post i said I'd stop because frankly its boring but you again see the need to passively aggressively continue the digs and insults. Not the behaviour of an intelligent man. ?

8.) 20 Mar 2026 18:41:04
Red vale and skegs, winter and balloons are all angels i guess,? Skegs is like a fly around a cows a***e everytime certain posters make a a comment,

9.) 20 Mar 2026 19:59:59
Thing is, you all think it's ok to dish out filth to the owner, coach, players and call them all non-stop. But, you can't take criticism back.

10.) 20 Mar 2026 20:20:53
Come on, ladies.
You know the rules, hand bags in a circle before the fur starts flying.
No biting, no scratching, and definitely no pulling off the wigs!
Agree to disagree.
Life's too short, gentlemen. ???

11.) 20 Mar 2026 20:27:18
Red in Ripley, I'm happy to draw a line under it.

12.) 20 Mar 2026 20:31:33
I never crossed a line tbh.

13.) 20 Mar 2026 20:05:16
Stevie my little green t.a boy there's a ignore button that the eds of put on your profile mate you can select 5 posters where you don't see there comments so that's all the posters that apparently turn you green.you can delete its that simple that's why the eds have done it.but I know you won't use it because you like to have a argument and whine.so really there is no need for anyone to complain about other posters just put posters names in box and press ignore it is that simple isn't ed if you don't want to see other posters comments just so everyone understands thanks ed

14.) 20 Mar 2026 20:12:13
Winter I'm not playing the victim, I'm pointing out where most of the crap comes from, you were quick to brand pineapple racist ( I don't think he is for a minute) because of his site name(, a disgusting allegation), yet are happy to dish out ageist comments to all and Sundry, both are forms of bigotry, calling people ' little man " not sure where you get off calling people that, think it's you playing the innocent, not me playing the victim.

15.) 20 Mar 2026 20:24:11
For what it's worth I've never dished out any "filth" concerning our owner. I have my own opinion about the club, I've bought a season ticket and I believe that gives me a right to say what's right or wrong with the club.

And I'm sorry if my opinion offends you stevie I'm sure you've a decent person but this site was a better place without the entitled self opinionated person who is causing all this unpleasantness.

16.) 20 Mar 2026 21:01:55
The owner is a psycho. He's properly messed the club up this season, sacked the best manager we've had in decades, listened to a bloke that knows absolutely nothing about running a club and buying players, and bought a load of containers from his ships as seating for the expansion of the ground.

??? Daft comes to mind, anyway. Spurs on Sunday, I'm sure we will kick their ass after beating that massive club last night. Erm, remind me who they are, I can't remember their name. ?

17.) 20 Mar 2026 20:44:57
Skegs why would I block you,? I like to see what crap your posting, ?

18.) 20 Mar 2026 20:51:37
Who is that person then redvale?
Nothing offensive at all,
Like i say some can't take criticism when it comes their way
They only like to dish it out
Balloons, skeggs and winter love doing that, they are the problem not me
They don't want to talk properly about forest, its just about scoring points
They put negative crap on to get a response
And if you can't see that I feel sorry for you

19.) 20 Mar 2026 21:17:06
Apart from Dyche, DTP, when did I post anything negative about our side? I supported Nuno, even Ange and Dyche, in the beginning. I'm 100% behind VP because I think he is an intelligent coach and will keep us up. ?

20.) 20 Mar 2026 21:23:16
Glad to hear that, Winter.

21.) 20 Mar 2026 21:33:59
Once again false accusations. ?

22.) 20 Mar 2026 21:38:35
The owner wasn't when we where winning though skeggs.
You need to worry about your team fester playing in league one next season.

23.) 20 Mar 2026 21:43:40
You need to read back what you post
You just think your funny in your own mind kid.

24.) 21 Mar 2026 09:39:24
Lol Ripley, especially the line about the wigs. I'm still chuckling now. Excellent.

25.) 21 Mar 2026 18:43:40
Glad you like ginger. ???

16 Mar 2026 20:30:24
Seeing as we're all in a great mood and looking forward to our full on 100% effort on Thursday night, I thought I would put this forward. There are many small reasons why we are where we are but in my opinion, the biggest shambles has been recruitment. So I've tried to match £ for £ players we've let go or didn't sign against those we have signed. 1. Is Morato better than Worral and McKenna? Imo.

No 2. Is Dominguez better than Gardner? Imo. No 3. Is Jesus better than Surridge or Davis? Imo. A big fat No. 4. Is Ndoye better than Zinckernagel? Imo. No 5. Is Hutchinson better than Johnson? Imo. No. There are of course mitigating circumstances, but I think you get my drift. Apart from a few obvious shining lights, it highlights how bad our recruitment has been.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 16 Mar 2026 23:36:37
Our recruitment has been limited because of how much money we've got. City etc can spend twice the amount we can and pay 60Mill for a striker etc. We're still in the 30-35 mill bracket.
Most of the players you mention were good for us in the Championship, but up against the best teams in the Premier League, they would have fallen short in terms of talent and ability.
I agree that the recruitment is very poor. We seem to have brought in average players, but then there are only so many players who would bother to come to us, even less now because of our instability.
The Club lacks confidence all round.

There is no team building among the upper echelons themselves, and Mr. M just wants to dominate everything for his own kudos.
All the Coaches we have had have struggled to make the Club work properly, and the players play well, and really we only have 9 or 10 good players in all who simply cannot play a major game every three days, plus we get key injuries all the time.
Recruitment must be a key to a Club's success, but I fear for us we need a wise and cool head to handle it properly - where is such a person? And will they be able to deal with Mr. M effectively to improve the Club?

2.) 17 Mar 2026 02:49:41
You both make good points, but I think the situation is even worse than that, and the repercussions worse:
1) We have apparently signed 72 players, permanent or on loan, in 3.5 years in Prem. Most have been a failure. It is too high a number, and it indicates just how chaotic everything probably is. Ange, SD and VP basically have been unable to sign anyone.
2) We spent so much on our woeful recruitment in the summer that we had nothing left in Jan, so we bought Luca and Netz. West Ham, for example, spent properly and got 2 or 3 quality additions.
3) When we first got promoted, Mr M’s 21 (?) year old son appeared to take a lead on some deals.
4) I would disagree on our prior ability to buy one or two v good players/strikers. Maybe not £80m, but it could have been £50m for sure, but we wasted it (look what Hutchison cost alone, McAtee).
4) I read somewhere, and this is my big fear, that our salary is over 90% of our Premier League revenue. Wages as a % of turnover are much more important than PSR going forward, so selling our good players if relegated won't save us.

This should be a proper wake up call as a stat, and has me very worried.
5) If we do get relegated, and I have thought we would once Nuno left, the situation financially could be very, very tough. People underestimate this, I think, and who do we have in the club beyond Mr M to sort that out? Sticking us back in the cycle of finger-crossing.
6) We are on our multiple CEOs since being promoted too (I forget the number), but could be 4th.
7) Assuming we do get relegated (I realise that hasn’t happened, may not happen), the change required in personnel will be huge, and the wages of our second tier players probably atrocious. Wolves are already building for the Championship, and look way ahead of us in that regard.

Mr M controls and wants to control almost everything. Without a plan or proper structure, you cannot succeed. What is our plan? Will he/we ever really change? Doubt it. This is the season our luck may run out and then what happens?

3.) 17 Mar 2026 08:30:34
Some clubs in the Premier make a point of bringing in players around £20-30 million, improving them, then moving them on for 80 plus, and top clubs have purchased players at 80 plus and they've failed, but their recruitment means they can absorb that.

We cannot; our structure and wages mean they have to succeed or we're toast this season!!!! So, if we go down, tough, we deserve it, and if we stay up, great, we also deserve it. You're only as good as your last result. ??

15 Mar 2026 19:33:14
Just got home. Did the enjoyment outweigh the hassle and time it takes to get there? I'm starting to think if it does because my word, that was dire. Because of the free scarf thing, the atmosphere at the start was quite good but as soon as Jesus lost a 5 yard race after having a 3 yard start, Anderson's first corner going straight out of play and his laughable left foot effort. It became a bit toxic around me. The toxicity didn't last long. It very soon turned to resigned pessimistic, embarrassed laughter.

Absolutely no pace, 5 yard passes way off the mark. The first half was awful. It got slightly better with the subs. Awoniyi putting himself about was entertaining and very much appreciated but not Premier League. I thought Hutchinson was our best player on Thursday and surprised he didn't start today, and again he added something. Without a centre forward we are going to really struggle, I'm sad to say. Until Wood is fit, Awoniyi is the best of a very very poor trio. Now I'm have the first of several glasses of red.

1.) 15 Mar 2026 20:32:24
Have a few bottles baldy you need it with being a forest fan

2.) 15 Mar 2026 21:06:57
Gazzi, you nailed it, mate. That's exactly why I have stopped going. The effort far outweighs the reward - after all it's supposed to be entertainment.
Taiwo must start from now on - he did put himself about, and it's clear to everyone now that Jesus isn't a Premier League player. He couldn't trap a bag of cement.
I couldn't tell what the game plan was in the first half, but he did change it in the second period.

Spurs could have won at Anfield today. On that showing, they will easily beat us next weekend. Sad to say it, but I think we are gone, unless we start scoring soon, it's over. I hear it's 109 shots now at home for one solitary goal. Damn lies at statistics, and all that, but it's eye opening nonetheless.

13 Mar 2026 15:04:38
I feel just as low as everyone else on here.
I watched in my local pub up north and my fellow locals who mainly support Leeds or Middlesbrough were actually laughing at our abject clueless attempt at attacking.

I might upset a few on here but I think Jesus and Lucca are two of the worst players ever to play for us. Every bit as bad as Silenzi, Dias and Eaden.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 13 Mar 2026 16:39:54
That's you feeling robbed, Gazz, bud. Don't beat yourself up. As for Jesus, I think the laddie has potential. He works hard, just needs someone like Wood to guide him. Just my opinion. And you keep chanting for the minor leagues, sir.

2.) 13 Mar 2026 17:34:24
Jesus can be a good player. Clearly, no confidence in front of goal. I reckon Lucca is depressed or homesick, as he might not be a footy genius, but no way is he as bad as he's looked. Stupidly risky signing, when we needed some experience up front for the run in.

3.) 13 Mar 2026 17:53:02
Homesick, he was staying at Butlins for Taylor's sake, only been there a week.

If Anderson does leave, I don't think it will be for Newcastle.
I think his ambitions are much higher that them.
Liverpool, Man City or Real Madrid is his destination imo.

Come on Stokey, an hour's football in between 2 Sunday matches isn't going to tire a 23-year-old.
Luxury coach to EMA, first-class one-hour flight and first-class pre-match hotel.
What happens in the first 5 minutes tomorrow will show us if they are up for it or not.

I haven't got a clue what the team will be, but if it's picked on merit, Yates must start, and Jesus shouldn't.

Retty, there is nothing wrong with Mull of Kintyre. It is a great Forest song, and just about every fan sings it.
It's what's happening on the pitch that's more akin to a funeral march.
