So a fantastic point against Arsenal playing our first XL.
A brilliant win at very difficult Brentford, again playing our first team.
Unfortunately an abysmal display sandwiched in between by our squad players.
So who is to blame? Dyche? Is it really his fault? The dogged defensive/ low block brilliance in both our league matches coupled with some excellent forward played may suggest not. (You will have your opinion).
We don't always play like that of course.
So what else could it be?
My take on it is the recruitment has been appalling and hardly any of our new comers are good enough.
Unfortunately those same fringe players will probably be out in force on Thursday.
Wouldn't it be great to see Hutchinson and Awoniyi flying at them, on no of course we can't because some pratt left them out of the Europa squad. That's definitely not Dyche's fault.
