Gone and steven Reid takes charge on Saturday.

Far too late but we have 39 games now to turn this season around, and by that I mean avoid relegation. No manager can walk in to this club as it is and get us scoring goals for fun so there must be patience. But similarly to when Lamouchi was shown the door, all we wanted to see under CH was some sort of improvement, and that sentiment still remains. A change in style, some entertainment, get us out of reverse gear. CH will go down as one of the worst managers this club had ever had, but there's a big job ahead to get this club moving back in the right direction.

One thing I would say us that although Murphy has been bought in, the last signing and the interest in ferreya has vrentroz written all over it.
Marinakis needs to get rid of him quickly.

To be fair, Forest need another option at centre-forward. Unfortunately, having missed the deadline, we're now scraping the bargain bucket. As long as it's not an offer of big wages, or a 3-year deal he may be worth a go.

1-year deal til the end of the season on modest wages would be fine, imo. The guy's got pedigree, just not recently. And I think he'll probably struggle with the physicallity of the chamipionship, too, but he could be worth a punt. I think Swan and Taylor (Dale) are probably a year or two off first team football.

2.) 08 Sep 2021 11:10:57
Sutty mate all that's required is a change of tactics with two up top or 3 up with two out wider.
Neither Taylor grabban or silva can hold the ball up so play to their strengths or move the midfielders 20 yards further forward to support the lone ranger.
Keep bringing in a new team every window is not the answer.

3.) 08 Sep 2021 12:52:47
I agree, mate, I'd love to see a change but I don't think its likely with CH in charge. Forgot about Silva as a third striker, tbh, but pretty sure he'll mainly be used out wide.

4.) 08 Sep 2021 13:31:00
Silva is more of a wide forward/ winger anyway, I think. A player who scores headers might be useful, though.

5.) 08 Sep 2021 15:08:01
Agree cyclist but he hasn't played for four months so will lack fitness and we need to improve vastly on crosses into the box.
To me two thirds of the signings are last minute cross your fingers and hope they come good signings.
Best policy is 3 or four coming in that are quality and in positions where we need strengthening, not buying or loaning for the sake of it.
The amount of unfit players we sign is a worrying trend.

6.) 08 Sep 2021 17:26:54
We can’t afford the other option ff79 - it really is as simple as that, the type of player you talk about would interest prem sides and even teams abroad. Players use us as a stepping stone back into football either due to injury, poor form or fall outs with coaches/ managers at their clubs. We can’t attract quality players so have to take the gamble- unfortunately we haven’t had many bets come in 🤷🏻‍♂️.

7.) 08 Sep 2021 19:46:27
We just keep going down the same road though 2 tone
Remember stokovic, perquis, dimitru, bendtner, traore, lam l from the montanier days?
We are still doing the same thing, you can't be successful turning over a whole team plus every 12 months, while rejecting the academy players because we are struggling for results.
There is no plan with this type of recruitment 5 loans that is always a bad thing as you build nothing.
We could have signed good up and coming players like we did with Assombalonga and Antonio with good profit in selling them on but we go out and buy colbacks, Jenkinson, arter, who earns 38k a week with Jenkinson and colback on 25k, we simply waste money and those players aren't the type to bring success.

8.) 08 Sep 2021 22:42:03
Guys. we don't need anymore signings. The best signings we didn't make are still with us albeit til crimbo at least so let's run with what we've got and see what happens in the next 3/ 4/ 5 games and how these games play out with respect to selection? formation? tactics? and results? Free agent players are free at this stage of the window because of one reason and "barge poles" spring to mind!
Mill cafe and FTiD.

9.) 09 Sep 2021 10:17:49
Looks like Ferreya is going elsewhere in any case. Done well to avoid this one (apparently didn’t like the physicality of the English game) if we were ever interested in him anyway. Looking at his record I fear that we probably were!

31 Aug 2021 23:23:17
Now we are supposed to be signing lille midfielder niassse on loan 21 again.

Fff79

18 Aug 2021 22:27:37
Well I expect us to lose heavily against Stoke then the axe should fall if we persist with hughton then I will hang a banner over the Brian clough Upper asking him to leave as we don't like his style of play and that's a promise.

Fff79

1.) 19 Aug 2021 10:23:45
Yack yack, heard it all before. You must have the cleanest pants in Nottingham as you never follow through with anything:)

2.) 19 Aug 2021 12:00:22
Better than putting up with any old crap served up by hughton and just crossing everything hoping and praying it will just sort itself out, which it won't.
You should change your name to daydream believer. 🤣🤣🤣.

30 Jul 2021 22:23:24
A week away from the season kicking off and we haven't addressed our frailties.
Only mighten and Johnson can. get hughton out of losing his job.
Its obvious we are skint with all the wastage of money .
So just waiting for the loan market to patch us up.

1.) 31 Jul 2021 04:40:06
If Brentford had not pulled out of the Worrall deal because Celtic lowered their demands for their player we would have some players in by now.

Sell a player before buying any players has always been the owners way of doing things.

2.) 01 Aug 2021 08:43:01
Totally agree 79, trouble is why don’t the club come out and tell the truth? We can’t buy players because of FFP. As fans we could accept that and move forward. We had an embargo under Fawaz- we accepted the situation and still supported the club. Come on Forest, put your cards on the table. And moreover the shocking reason we are in this mess? Because of the dross we have signed over the last three seasons. Carvalho, Bong, Jenkinson, Colback, Hefele. the list goes on and on, all on huge wages and all bleeding the club dry.

Apparently we have sold 17.5k tickets today and the Wembley plan says sold out barring the top tier.
Has something gone wrong with ticketmaster?

Fff79

1.) 19 May 2022 18:59:03
Ticket master is s*** mate .

2.) 19 May 2022 19:01:32
That was at lunchtime mate and seeing as we only have 20k card holders seems an extremely high figure.

3.) 19 May 2022 20:55:45
The top tier probably holds as much as the rest put together.

4.) 19 May 2022 21:07:31
There's just over 23000 season card holders, apparently!

5.) 20 May 2022 11:22:19
That feeling when you can't buy (I believe in miracles) a ticket until 25th May. 😭😭😭.

18 May 2022 21:42:27
Forest and clough back at Wembley
Well done young man.

Fff79

1.) 18 May 2022 21:48:59
That was a clough masterclass tonight mate.

2.) 18 May 2022 21:54:53
Could be an expensive weekend.

3.) 19 May 2022 11:53:02
Yeah, that was really great to see, I really like Nigel, honest and hardworking, good luck young man!

18 May 2022 20:19:03
And an ex red scores for Mansfield
Tell me mam me mam I'm going to Wembley twice. 🤣🤣🤣.

Fff79

18 May 2022 17:54:18
Ticket on sale from tomorrow for season card holders, one ticket per card and print at home only.

Fff79

1.) 18 May 2022 18:55:00
Fff are the different categories related to where you are sitting so if Mr or Mrs Moneybags want Category 1 where do they sit!?

2.) 18 May 2022 18:57:46
I might have a chance of getting a ticket then? 🤞.

3.) 18 May 2022 19:20:15
There's a seating plan on the club site.

4.) 18 May 2022 19:49:15
I won't bother tomorrow doc
Wait till Friday as we want six tickets together
Next problem is getting there and back on a Sunday
Train will be a waste of time on a sunday so waiting on a call back for a bus as I'd rather walk than go Silverdale.

18 May 2022 08:00:43
What an atmosphere last night has to be the loudest I've seen in many many years.
Even when we were losing the singing and encouragement continued.
When the stewards cleared the pitch and Cooper came back out followed by the players you could see how shattered the players were but how much they are enjoying the experience
Brilliant night to remember.

Derby don't do timekeeping or book keeping.
Months fly by without them turning up on time for a final efl ultimatum.
Watch this space tomorrow as it us the day derby fans have been praying for
An April the first miracle. 🤣🤣🤣.

So what future if he's pivotal?
He signs a contract with get out clause?
Well that's triggered immediately we don't get promoted.
So the comments make no sense.
His future won't be with forest next season if we are in the championship, contract or not, just a better fee.

Just enjoy watching Johnson?
He gets better with every game and his value increases.
We will get promoted then its down to Johnson
It's a win win situation.

I just think they should be on loan to better standard than national league at their age and we are paying money for players like ponza and soh who are the same age.

His brothers are
Baba 21 as well, I just look at the likes of worrall Johnson, mighten, finn back, getting first team action in their teens, you have to at keast be good enough to go out on loan to a league one or two side by the time your 20.
We have a tendency to keep calling them youngsters even when they are 23 and more.
Some very good kids in the under 18s that need to step up nowadays not have their paths blocked imo.
Swann, fornah, richardson won't make the grade either as forest first teamers.

Just remember lads thus Wembley with 90k thirsty and hungry people not Nottingham.
While I might be heading that way initially plans could easily change depending on the circumstances
From past experience I'd say to get a drink it's jump on a tube to somewhere like Harrow on the hill.
Like I say with that amount of fans around be difficult to meet inside a pub.
Play it by ear when you get there is the only way.

I remember in benidorm a comedian saying to my missus sit down love where are you from and who are you with?
She pointed me out at the bar and he said Nottingham?
Ten women for every man
How did you end up with her?
🤣🤣🤣.

A team just relegated from the Premier got to us mate.
Their midfield are useful and showed that.
Forest always turn up under Cooper
Beat Huddersfield twice already this season and it will never be down to forest not turning up trust me.

Sticking my bedsheet over the wall of Brian clough saying 2 wins from 22 games, not the forest way, and then saying hugton out.
OK I can't spell but that's the last we saw of the boring git.
