Just saw this on HITC putting that rumour to bed.

John Terry has posted on his Instagram story that he wants to 'distance' himself from the Nottingham Forest job.

He'll probably be the next manager then.
How many times do managers get a vote of confidence from the board only to be sacked the next week.
He's just being polite and pointing out that at this moment hughton is still the manager.
He'll soon throw his hat in when hughton goes, which needs to be soon.

2.) 15 Sep 2021 15:29:27
He’s distancing himself out of respect for the fact a bloke already has the job,

3.) 15 Sep 2021 15:41:41
Rodgers my goat.

Really solid first half, we are definitely a better team for Luis playing, but we just can't take our chances at the moment.
At 0-1 I thought we could still come back but a quick 2nd and we were done.

Did anyone else wonder if Reece James note from the manager said 'Ange is getting sacked in the morning! '.

So has everything calmed down now at the City ground after last week, business as usual?

I haven't really heard anymore.

Anyone think Douglas Luiz will start Sunday in place of Sangare?

Gingerkid42

1.) 29 Aug 2025 15:18:29
Hope nuno isn’t going to mess Luiz about in his stand off with edu,

2.) 29 Aug 2025 16:19:24
I would expect him to be eased in. Hopefully get a good run out in the 2nd half.

3.) 29 Aug 2025 17:01:17
Our old friends Malmo too?

4.) 29 Aug 2025 17:41:22
Malmo is going to be a classic Rogie. Big M talking about getting the 'old guard' out and making a real spectacle of it. Can't wait for that one!

5.) 29 Aug 2025 18:15:39
Pity Trevor can't be there.

6.) 29 Aug 2025 18:22:15
That would be pure nostalgia right there!
Maybe even create that Shot Putt ring that the late Clever Trevor fell into!

7.) 29 Aug 2025 19:01:35
Sangare is a bench warmer now. so let's hope we get some money for him before deadline day.

8.) 30 Aug 2025 15:23:48
No, Liuz will not start. Sangare will.

9.) 30 Aug 2025 15:25:52
The only way Luiz starts Sunday's game, is if Nuno drops MGW, or there is an injury.

Ah jeez, they are mentioning Mourinho now, Mr Happy, no thanks.

Can we all just be adults, sit round a table, get the jammy dodgers/ garibaldis out (no pun intended:), everyone put on their big boy pants and talk it out.

Really hope they can, I really don't want Nuno to go.

Enjoy all those going today and stay safe (hope no-one ends up behind the pillars:)

If they wanted Nuno gone, the timing is wrong. I agree, in spite of a rumour that I want Nuno gone.

One angle nobody is looking at, is Marinakis might not be happy with Edu, if his people skills are such that he has alienated the Greekfather's choice of Head Coach. A relationship is a two-way thing, so it's Edu and Nuno's responsibility and the buck should rest with the senior member of staff.

Great result and performance yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed that.

I love to see Utd lose anytime but it's all the sweeter with Forest beating them in their own back yard.

Well done Forest.

DTP/ Skeggs, you both slag off Nuno and Cooper respectively, they have both been amazing for our Club, your as bad as each other.
How about you both grow up a little and stop ruining the site for everyone else with your childish pettiness.

Happy Christmas.

I'm happy to leave it alone. ginger I have nothing to prove the facts speak for themselves living the forest dream ginge ?.

2.) 08 Dec 2024 12:22:33
Well said Ginger good post ?.

3.) 08 Dec 2024 12:36:56
Well said again Ginger!

4.) 08 Dec 2024 14:23:19
Yeah for sure ginger there is something really special about beating united at OT. I think both cooper and Nuno will go down in history as two historic coaches, wouldn’t it be amazing to combine the cooper atmosphere and the Nuno results - very greedy I know - but what a combo it would be!

Well done Nuno, you’ve got everyone talking about forest again. - I’m not going to say I find it the easiest watch but some of the results are quite special ……. away wins at OT and Anfield …. as if!
Merry Christmas ?.

Skeggsjay likes nothing more than a good argument, so we bounce them about
Anyone can come on once a week after a match and say well done?
But it's not going to get a thread going is it?
Someone has to have a different opinion or there is no conversation
Alot is tongue in cheek stuff and don't let it bother you as you don't post that often anyway
Balloons joins in too.
Sorry if we have upset you kid
Merry Christmas.

Anyone else think Nuno should watch from the stands again for today:)

Enjoy all those going today, hope it's a cracking game and us obvs as the winning team.

Yes, great news Red Stripe, I really didn't see that coming.

I wonder how the people who spoke crap about him feel now, well done Morgan, you know it makes sense:)

Why go there, could understand a club that's top 5 but that definitely ain't Spurs.

Doc, I think you are dealing with symantec's when you say 3 teams poorer than ours, or is it our team better than theirs?

You can paint it how you want, is the rest of the league poorer than City, yes, what a negative way to view things though, doesn't make everyone else shite.

Not sure what Sels could have done about the goal, he's been pretty solid for us to be fair, if he makes a clanger then Miguel will come in.

Sangare is heads and shoulders better than O'Brien, he hasn't ripped up any trees since leaving us, not sure how he keeps popping up, championship player is all.

We've had a decent start to be fair, I know we have harder games to come but jeez, we haven't been played off the park or beat yet.

Munmad, you don't even know that's the truth and your putting a boot in on a player you know little about.

You had him in your starting line-up for Saturday against Southampton, not his fault you get a bit carried away, chill out fella:).

Posts on here only get more accurate when people stop making stuff up, hilarious.

Awoniyi is and has always been first choice striker when fit.

Stokey, I think you have the measure of it, we have just played a team that is purring with their performances right now and it absolutely showed today.

It's going to take a bit before we are back to our confident best in what we do, it's going to be a frustrating season but I think there will be at least 3 teams worse than us come the end of the season.

Yes, correct Oak, I think it was because they were calling him a lucky player a lot, he was a great player.

I loved his cameo in 'Curb your Enthusiasm' with the jackets.

Yeah, agreed.
We looked a lot more solid, I thought the back 4 did well and Williams was excellent, great to have Murrilo back.

I thought MGW had a decent game and Anderson and Luiz bossed midfield, when they are fit I can't see Yates and Sangare getting a look in but there will be rotations I am sure.

Excellent start for the new Dyche era, and away point (or more) at the Cherries would top off an excellent week for them.

I think 'Fat Frank' has found his level in the Championship, in his 2nd season at Everton in 23' season, he had 20 matches, win rate 15%, not for me thanks.

I think Silva is free at the end of the season and is my preferred choice and Rodgers I think is free then too.

I really like Sean and wish him all the best with us, but not my first choice but I always support whoever is in charge.
Lets hope he gives us all something to get behind tomorrow!
