Apparently we are close to signing a right back from Sevilla.
1.) 20 Aug 2025 13:20:47
If Carmona comes from Seville it will knock on the head any deal for Matty Cash!.
2.) 20 Aug 2025 14:01:06
Fabrizio Romano:
?? EXCLUSIVE: Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks for José Angel Carmona from Sevilla.
Spanish right back new target for #NFFC with talks now underway.
3.) 21 Aug 2025 09:01:02
This deal makes more sense with what our recruitment team are looking for. As much as I would like to see matt cash back in a forest shirt, can't see villa letting him go at present, konsa is a better cb than rb and garcii injured. Also cash has regular spot and would be competing against aina who on his day is best rb in the league. So if we get the young Spanish rb he could cover aina and if get tsmikis on loan from Liverpool we have a really strong squad.
4.) 21 Aug 2025 11:29:31
We definitely need a FB at Matty Cash's level. He'd be Prem ready. The fact that he counts as a home-grown academy player (I think) is the big bonus, as he would be an extra player and we won't have to leave anyone else out of the squad.
However, the Carmona guy is probably European match ready, so still fits with what we need but may not adjust to the Prem as quickly.
We are now reaching the point where tough choices need to be made about who makes the squad.

Friday’s edition of Diario de Sevilla reports the 23-year-old is ‘very reluctant’ to join the Reds as his desire is to continue and succeed with the Andalusian club.
‘Is it ruled out? 100% not, but it’s complicated, ’ a source close to him told Diario de Sevilla.

Just watching Brentford v Liverpool.
Shows you how far guts, determination, good organisation with just a sprinkling of quality can get you.
2 0 at half time could have been more.
If we can replicate that kind of mindset and stick to the gameplan, I am sure we will get something.
Ps. Hang on Liveroool have just scored. Oooops?.
1.) 25 Oct 2025 21:09:50
3 minutes added but gave Liverpool 2 extra minutes so they can score one then blow for half time. Dodgy as hell.
2.) 25 Oct 2025 21:34:45
You spend 500 million on attack, I think personally Liverpool have signed a problem in isak and eteke as they both seem to have massive egos that says neither will be happy if they aren't first choice
Took the pace and direct approach out of the side by playing sideways and backwards and static at the back.
3.) 25 Oct 2025 23:06:02
What's your view on where it's going wrong edd?
I think wirtz looks like he has the world on his shoulders and the pace has gone from an attacking point of view?
The back four look very static to?
To me on paper the addition of wirtz, isak, kerkez and enteke should have been the icing on the cake for a premier winning side?
{Ed001's Note - lack of fitness, lack of intensity, every pass is slowly rolled giving the opposition time to adjust and no protection in midfield as Slot empties it constantly.}
4.) 25 Oct 2025 23:24:41
Thanks edd I see a lack of pace for sure
He had klopps side now he owns his?
{Ed001's Note - yeah, he has tried to change too much this season.}
5.) 25 Oct 2025 23:28:07
Also I don't think conour Bradley and Curtis jones are good enough for a team at Liverpools level.
{Ed001's Note - decent squad players but no more.}
6.) 25 Oct 2025 23:46:04
The phrase "Form is temporary class is permanent ". Adept with Salah, tonight.
What a finish.
7.) 26 Oct 2025 08:31:39
Ed?
Do you think Virgil is on the decline maybe?
{Ed001's Note - defo, he has been showing signs of a gradual decline for 3 years.}
23 Oct 2025 22:23:35
Well well.
Take that. A bit of good fortune. But the best team won.
Anderson, Luiz, CHO and Jesus excellent.
Stopped off at Brew Tavern for unplanned celebration pint.
Onwards and upwards.
1.) 23 Oct 2025 22:33:31
Williams man of the match played excellent doesn't get enough appreciation.
2.) 23 Oct 2025 23:28:22
Couldn't agree enough skegs, again said same little while ago. ?.
3.) 23 Oct 2025 23:33:16
Every one I was with after game picked him out.
Fair one.
4.) 23 Oct 2025 23:50:12
Really?
Luiz all day long.
5.) 24 Oct 2025 03:22:25
It's Luiz who makes a big difference to our performances, hope it didn't take to much out of him for Bournemouth.
6.) 24 Oct 2025 11:11:30
Yes. You can give him the ball anywhere, and trust him with it. Hopefully will be a key player for us this season.
23 Oct 2025 18:58:08
Sels
Williams Milenkovic Murrillo Zinchenko
Anderson Luiz
Ndoye MGW CHO
Jesus
Very attacking team on paper.
18 Oct 2025 14:50:38
Ange gone!
Worst part about today. We played well. Created a lot. But. No one can finish.
MGW was a liability.
1.) 18 Oct 2025 14:58:28
The good thing is, we HAVE GOOD PLAYERS, whoever it is, must get a tune out of them. but who?
2.) 18 Oct 2025 15:19:26
We can’t defend though mate.
3.) 18 Oct 2025 15:29:46
We did last season with the same players.
4.) 18 Oct 2025 17:09:42
True - makes this even harder to comprehend doesn’t it?
02 Oct 2025 22:43:14
As predicted. We would need to score 3 should have said 4.
Can't defend set pieces all of a sudden. They were no better than a championship team.
The atmosphere before the game, electric.
Then the game started.
By the end of the game, atmosphere,
toxic.
What a difference a week makes.
Worried!
31 Jul 2025 20:58:49
I remember the home game Stokey.
First half he was best player on the pitch. Gave our left back a torrid time. Who on the day, if my memory serves me right, was Moreno.
Think he would be a useful addition.
29 Jul 2025 22:41:06
He made some key contributions last season, that gained us points.
26 Jul 2025 23:15:49
Well, well well. Wonders will never cease.
I wonder what changed his mind.
Whatever. Great news.
We can sell him gfr 100 mill, next year now?.
20 Jul 2025 00:55:02
Thing is. We have been caught with our pants down here.
Gut feeling. We may keep him till January, unless we get an adequate replacement.
Looking at the interview with Aina after today's game, it doesn't seem to have affected the team spirit, which is my big fear.
Still feeling optimistic about next year and the missus says if we get Roma or Bologna away she's coming with me, although not to the game.
Chin up.
10 Jul 2025 17:14:31
Apparentley he has a 60 million release clause.
26 Oct 2025 15:57:15
Could have played till midnight and not scored. Coupled with our tendency to give up soft goals. Recipe for disaster. First goal was embrassing.
On the plus side SD has a whole week to work with team. 2 massive home games coming up.
25 Oct 2025 23:46:04
The phrase "Form is temporary class is permanent ". Adept with Salah, tonight.
What a finish.
25 Oct 2025 21:33:09
No reason, he would make any changes from Thursday other than fitness issues. So that could well be the team.
If he wanted to be more cautious he could bring in Domingues on the right for Ndoye an old Nuno move. Less likely bring in Sangare and play MGW on the right.
I remember last year CHO missed this fixture. It didn't end well. I hope he starts tommorow.
25 Oct 2025 02:03:00
Irrelevant.
He did a great job for us. We move on.
Without him and Cooper we wouldn't be in Europe.
Show respect.
I hope West Ham get relegated. But it's nothing personal against a man that contributed to our continuous move forward.
24 Oct 2025 11:11:30
Yes. You can give him the ball anywhere, and trust him with it. Hopefully will be a key player for us this season.
