Apparently we are close to signing a right back from Sevilla.
1.) 20 Aug 2025 13:20:47
If Carmona comes from Seville it will knock on the head any deal for Matty Cash!.
2.) 20 Aug 2025 14:01:06
Fabrizio Romano:
?? EXCLUSIVE: Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks for José Angel Carmona from Sevilla.
Spanish right back new target for #NFFC with talks now underway.
3.) 21 Aug 2025 09:01:02
This deal makes more sense with what our recruitment team are looking for. As much as I would like to see matt cash back in a forest shirt, can't see villa letting him go at present, konsa is a better cb than rb and garcii injured. Also cash has regular spot and would be competing against aina who on his day is best rb in the league. So if we get the young Spanish rb he could cover aina and if get tsmikis on loan from Liverpool we have a really strong squad.

We definitely need a FB at Matty Cash's level. He'd be Prem ready. The fact that he counts as a home-grown academy player (I think) is the big bonus, as he would be an extra player and we won't have to leave anyone else out of the squad.
However, the Carmona guy is probably European match ready, so still fits with what we need but may not adjust to the Prem as quickly.
We are now reaching the point where tough choices need to be made about who makes the squad.

Friday’s edition of Diario de Sevilla reports the 23-year-old is ‘very reluctant’ to join the Reds as his desire is to continue and succeed with the Andalusian club.
‘Is it ruled out? 100% not, but it’s complicated, ’ a source close to him told Diario de Sevilla.

The best team won. End of.
We went in to the game with only one full back available. Suprised he didn't go in 3 at the back.
Playing Wood and Jesus up top, gave them an extra man in midfield. Thought he would have done sonething about that at half time.
Not gonna be hard on the manager, 10 games unbeaten before tonight.
May have been different if Aina, Netz, Murrilo, Sangare, MGW and Awoniyi were able to start.
1.) 07 May 2026 22:21:22
He's kept us up, but won't be here next season. Mr M wants European football simple as.
2.) 07 May 2026 23:38:38
Vitor will be here next season.
3.) 07 May 2026 23:44:38
Don't think Silva will come. Fulham haven't set the world on fire this year, and they haven't had an arduous European campaign to deal with. So I wouldn't be losing sleep over it.
Hope lessons have been learned. We get ourselves sorted early this summer, and everyone is singing off the same hymn sheet come the middle of August.

Bang on Forest 67, couldn't agree more. ?
04 May 2026 13:56:24
Well we can't slag off Villa now.
This is our B team.
Chelsea will be licking their lips.

U Bee's.

Best away win in Premier since April Fools' Day 1995. Seems like yesterday mind.
What a turn around in the last 150 minutes of football. All credit to VP, and the lads.
Think we can have a proper go at Villa now.
Hope Cunha will be okay for that. He looks a great prospect.
The main thing is we stay up and we are a long way down the road to achieving that.
A week in Istanbul in May would be just unbelievable.
19 Apr 2026 16:41:34
Feel exhausted after that.
The first hour was woeful.
MGW steps up to the plate again. Where would we be without him?
1.) 19 Apr 2026 17:16:28
At least 3 places lower 67.
2.) 19 Apr 2026 18:21:06
Master stroke Vitor putting him on the wing to find so much room.
31 Jul 2025 20:58:49
I remember the home game Stokey.
First half he was best player on the pitch. Gave our left back a torrid time. Who on the day, if my memory serves me right, was Moreno.
Think he would be a useful addition.
29 Jul 2025 22:41:06
He made some key contributions last season, that gained us points.
26 Jul 2025 23:15:49
Well, well well. Wonders will never cease.
I wonder what changed his mind.
Whatever. Great news.
We can sell him gfr 100 mill, next year now?.
20 Jul 2025 00:55:02
Thing is. We have been caught with our pants down here.
Gut feeling. We may keep him till January, unless we get an adequate replacement.
Looking at the interview with Aina after today's game, it doesn't seem to have affected the team spirit, which is my big fear.
Still feeling optimistic about next year and the missus says if we get Roma or Bologna away she's coming with me, although not to the game.
Chin up.
10 Jul 2025 17:14:31
Apparentley he has a 60 million release clause.
10 May 2026 18:34:20
It is now.
10 May 2026 16:30:49.
Above Leeds now.
Very fitting. Anderson got the goal. Best player on the pitch by a mile. Plus, it shut the away end up.
Loved it that most of injury time was spent on the front foot.
Considering all the absentees, a great point.
08 May 2026 23:51:05
Let's be realistic.
We had a 6'5 centre-back playing right-back.
8 players, by my count, unavailable. The writing was on the wall before a ball was kicked.
I, for one, have some great memories of this European journey.
Bigger picture looks like we are staying up.
I'll take that. Go again next year. Maybe we can go again there.

Kamara was their best player till he got injured in January. That's their 2 main midfielders out.
When they were flying, they had Tielemans freed up ahead of them, with McGinn and Rogers either side. They haven't hit the same heights since.
