I wonder if the derby game will be Ch final game so would you take another loss inorder to get rid of Ch or three points and keep Ch and keep him.

1.) 24 Aug 2021 23:16:29
He has to go now. If he’s still here after the derby game (even if we win) he has to go.
The football is horrible to watch and you can tell the players aren’t happy. It’s not a good mix and creates a toxic environment.
Get a younger manager in that has some passion and intensity about him.

2.) 24 Aug 2021 23:22:57
Totally agree trent and he should not have started the season.
Different formation would bring about better results.

06 Apr 2021 10:20:01
Just read that mcguane might be sold of to Oxford which if so is a bad decision he's a decent young lad who could do a job for us but probably not get a chance to go do so.

1.) 06 Apr 2021 10:40:39
He has been injured too much so i think it is the club wanting rid.

2.) 06 Apr 2021 12:25:34
He's been injured once, sadly it ended his season loan at Oxford. Hopefully this rumour is not true, as he is quality, better than some of the current squad.

3.) 06 Apr 2021 12:35:22
If you are injured and it finishes your term then you are out injured all of the while during the rest of the term, hence injured too much.

Ten small injuries, or one long term injury, it is too much.?

4.) 06 Apr 2021 12:49:32
He's not really been outstanding at Oxford Utd, which is what you would want if you were hoping for him to be Championship-ready for next season. He's had some decent games but hasn't always had the impact you would like to see. Personally, not sure if he's ready to be relied upon next season, maybe as a squad player but, he's certainly not the superstar that some fans hope he will be. Doesn't seem aggressive enough to stamp his control on games at Champ/ League One level. Hope I'm wrong though 'cus he's a nice 'baller.

5.) 06 Apr 2021 16:43:28
According to the Oxford boss McGuane has been key and they are not as consistent without him.

I reckon the key to whether McGuane will get a chance next season is partly with the future of other players. If we re-sign Garner and keep Artur then I think that McGuane will not get much football. If we move Artur on and can't get Garner then I'm fairly sure Hughton would want to take a look at him again pre-season and early season, before the loan/ transfer window closes.

6.) 06 Apr 2021 17:07:09
Problem is mcguane is 22 and not a kid.
Fornah has done far better on loan he's 21now and should be good enough next season.
I don't think there is any chance man utd will loan garner out to a championship club next season, they will either use him or loan him to a premier club for the next step of his development.

7.) 06 Apr 2021 17:29:04
79 why is it you are too old at 22 to be good enough in the future for the Championship but some players can carry on being quality players in the Championship in their 30's.?

8.) 06 Apr 2021 19:01:25
Imo at 21 or 22 they should already have forced thir way into the first team squad half their career will be gone if we don't think they are ready till they are 25.

9.) 06 Apr 2021 19:21:19
I agree with Ff79 that Fornah has been more impressive over at Plymouth. Again I think consistency has been an issue but a very similar player playing at least just as well in the same division.

Hopefully we'll see Brennan Johnson, Jordan Gabriel and one of Fornah or McGuane given plenty of opportunities next season.

25 Aug 2020 21:43:21
Sorry guys but why are we signing players that are at the wrong end their career, we all read about the club saying what a dood bunch of young talented lads we have so my philosophy is if they are that good build for the future all be it if we don't go up this season.

1.) 26 Aug 2020 22:55:24
Greenock ffffffing Morton! Why are these scouts, how can this guy be off championship qualify?

2.) 27 Aug 2020 11:13:20
Played for Malmo.

3.) 27 Aug 2020 11:31:25
Maybe let's see him play first.

Welcome to the Mighty Reds Bachirou:) .

4.) 27 Aug 2020 14:13:12
Not all players have played for high profile clubs, so what he’s played for Greenock Morton. He’s got champions league and Europa league experience, let’s give him a chance.

5.) 27 Aug 2020 21:34:49
Cant wait for your comment when you see him.
Thats if you see him i'd say he's back up to colback, sow and yeats.
Hes not going to be a regular with those in front of him.
Just saying.

6.) 27 Aug 2020 23:33:42
Yawn, and who is Yeats exactly, a new Irish poetical midfielder we have signed?

7.) 28 Aug 2020 08:05:46
Don’t think this signing was expected to be exciting, and as I said on here before I’m not, but give the bloke a chance, he may have played for Morton, but he’s also had champions league experience on the flip side.

16 Aug 2020 13:32:33
Read that huddersfield might want Tyler walker would be a good move as he's never going to get a chance at forest shame really.

1.) 16 Aug 2020 14:40:50
Are you sure you don't mean Hull? Linked with them on a permanent deal, not championship standard so can't see Huddersfield buying him.

2.) 16 Aug 2020 18:32:10
If walker leaves it needs to be permanent price tag should be 2m. Scored plenty goals in league 1 before we ended his loan spell.

3.) 17 Aug 2020 09:05:35
I was hoping he would have been given a chance but hope he gets a chance to prove what he can do.

25 Jun 2019 06:47:28
Hi guys not feeling the love at the minute I really thought forest would push for a top six finish this season but after looking at the signing of Sammy can't hit a barn door I really don't see any ambition, don't know if it's down to O'Neil having his hand tied to what he can bring in or he just hasn't a clue not sure, more speculation over Joe's future at the club if he does leave then I thing we will be looking at a relegation battle I know one player don't make a team but in his case he does .

1.) 26 Jun 2019 15:46:20
Hi Dan,

Whilst Ameobi's scoring record over the past few years (notably in a struggling Bolton team of which for the last year he was rarely paid on time) isn't amazing, it's not awful either
4 goals and 3 assists compared to Matty Cash's 6 goals and 2 assists isn't drastically different especially considering we finished 14 places above Bolton.
Regarding ambition, It's June 26th, I'm pretty sure Sammy Ameobi will not be our only signing this summer, and if he is, you have my full permission to call me out and humiliate me as you like.
As a free transfer on a 1 year deal, its a win win. If he is awful, he leaves. If he is ambitious and plays for a contract, we win.
If he is a starter week in week out, I'll be surprised, and if he ends up being a replacement for Lolley I will be devastated.
Instead I think he'll bring good squad balance on the wings with pace and power something we've been distinctly lacking since Antonio to be honest.
If he is one of 5 or 6 other signings, it will look like a great early free deal and boosts squad depth and options.

Feel the love, be optimistic. Let's not even mention relegation battles until it's (hopefully not) a thing.
Get behind the management whether you like him or not, the board and most importantly what ever player pulls on the Garibaldi

Wayne Rooney said he's not playing any forwards today I'm guessing hughton he's been watching forest can't remember last time we played a striker either.

1.) 28 Aug 2021 12:45:38
Nice work Bong.

2.) 28 Aug 2021 12:45:40
Why the fck is samba on.

3.) 28 Aug 2021 12:47:36
Iv'e said from day 1 of his arrival Taylor is sh#te.

4.) 28 Aug 2021 12:54:38
Now, Now Bowie be positive not ripping into players. 😁.

5.) 28 Aug 2021 13:17:24
Touche mind 🤝.

23 Aug 2021 04:59:45
Houghton plays the same formation as sabri did both very negative yet it worked for sabri to start with from my point of view never a fan of playing one upfront anyway but I would say the strikers we do have on offer I'd probably not play any of em, I'm just wondering where we go from here.

17 Aug 2021 21:05:28
Just a thought I'm just wondering if Ch is going to get the same 5 games sabri did before he's given the boot.

1.) 18 Aug 2021 08:08:47
Hope not Dan, 3 will do for me. “Sacked In The Morning”.

2.) 18 Aug 2021 10:32:22
Hopefully no more than 5 games as we will still only have
3 points max and in bottom 3.

08 Aug 2021 18:01:42
How the fck does bong get in the forest side.

10 Jul 2021 08:52:12
Hi guys but a quick need to moan I'm so sick of reading about who forests potential signings are and maybe close to getting I'd wish the local rags would just keep quiet untill forest have actually got a player signed.

1.) 10 Jul 2021 10:35:13
There would be nothing to read apart from the new Chief Exec will be officially appointed next week, and we have a flash new kit!

The new Chief Exec has already started, as I posted. So we beat them to that scoop on here. We only have to get the Forest fan email to know about the new kit. So where is the journalism?

2.) 10 Jul 2021 16:46:52
I must be in the minority but I love the gossip - when there’s potential for a good signing. I start thinking how they will fit in the team. Fingers crossed we can get some of the recent links over the line re Clarke, Fleming and Zinkernagel.

Lots of teams have been successful with one upfront but when was the last time forest successful with one up font we've always done best with a a good paring such collymore and Roy, Campbell and hoojidonk then again I'm going back to when we had a teams that would walk this league I'm guessing I'm a dinosaur thinking 442 is a good formation we all have a opinion that's why I love reading things on here,

Can't see why Houghton want play a 3 5 2 formation I've never been a fan of one upfront it's to negative that's why we didn't score under sabri, but then again Ch would put 5 defenders in the middle.

So we've signed a striker by the looks of it is about as much use as a chocolate teapot then again that's still more useful than the ones who put the bids in for em, I for one feel let down yet again by the shear lack of ambition we the fans deserve so much better sorry for being a sour puss can't get excited about forest anymore.

Just read the same I can honestly say I don't know much about wilder so I don't ok now if he's good or not I thought Houghton was a good appointment at the time like a lot of others but I must says he's disappointed me, like all fans I just want to see us look like a team that no matter whether we go a goal behind still have it in us to win if wilder can give us that then get him in now please.

Same happened to Claudio at Leicester he lost the dressing room and he lost his job as a result, Houghton made a rod for his own back playing to defensive but it's still down to the players to perform but we can go on about that till the cows come home lol, but I'm wondering if cooper can get carvalho playing up to his potential if not may be time to get rid.

I not to fussed who comes in I just want to see some decent football and at least look like we are capable of winning a match, looks like it not be wilder not got to he budget he wants, cooper sounds like a younger Houghton so why not throw caution to the wind try a young manager, the managers we've had last few years all sounded good on paper look where that's got us.

Forest have had the same problems for years before Ch, sabri, and the ten before them, our movement is sht our passing is laboured, to many times we get the ball where it needs to be and nobody has a brain or skill to do anything with the ball, strikers that will only shoot from six yards out and still miss plus don't have it in em to make a chance, so I hope when the new guy comes in he'll be able to put things right otherwise we'll be langushing in this league for the next twenty years, sorry for a moan but starting to loose the will to watch em.

I love reading fans say managers have been away from the game to long Ch wasn't out of the game long look what's he's done I'd sooner anyone come in at the minute don't care if they pp lay 442 or whatever as long as they stop the rot that's going through this team at the minute.

Just a thought why not try zink upfront he already looks more likely to score than grabs or Taylor you still have Joe and mighten in the wings.
