Hi guys not feeling the love at the minute I really thought forest would push for a top six finish this season but after looking at the signing of Sammy can't hit a barn door I really don't see any ambition, don't know if it's down to O'Neil having his hand tied to what he can bring in or he just hasn't a clue not sure, more speculation over Joe's future at the club if he does leave then I thing we will be looking at a relegation battle I know one player don't make a team but in his case he does .

Hi Dan,

Whilst Ameobi's scoring record over the past few years (notably in a struggling Bolton team of which for the last year he was rarely paid on time) isn't amazing, it's not awful either
4 goals and 3 assists compared to Matty Cash's 6 goals and 2 assists isn't drastically different especially considering we finished 14 places above Bolton.
Regarding ambition, It's June 26th, I'm pretty sure Sammy Ameobi will not be our only signing this summer, and if he is, you have my full permission to call me out and humiliate me as you like.
As a free transfer on a 1 year deal, its a win win. If he is awful, he leaves. If he is ambitious and plays for a contract, we win.
If he is a starter week in week out, I'll be surprised, and if he ends up being a replacement for Lolley I will be devastated.
Instead I think he'll bring good squad balance on the wings with pace and power something we've been distinctly lacking since Antonio to be honest.
If he is one of 5 or 6 other signings, it will look like a great early free deal and boosts squad depth and options.

Feel the love, be optimistic. Let's not even mention relegation battles until it's (hopefully not) a thing.
Get behind the management whether you like him or not, the board and most importantly what ever player pulls on the Garibaldi

Hi to be honest, I really don't know why we have such a under performing team. on paper our players look more than enough to cope with most of the teams in this league yet again they just don't play.

I know it's a managers job to get his teams motivated and all that but the players must also take a long hard look at themselves for the crap they produce they let everyone down including themselves I do feel for the fans that come here I feel for those of us on rubbish wages that still pay tickets so can somone please wave a magic wand get us playing again. coyr.

On the flip side look at it from a players point new managers all the time a different team mate next to them every game, in and out the side themselves constantly there is no continuity anywhere must make things very hard and demoralising take Milosevic did nothing wrong and seems to be now in the abyss

Well done to worral giving a needless free kick away.

Dan1975

1.) 04 Jul 2020 14:32:36
Not the players' fault, wrong subs again, Dawson not put on for the last 10 minutes. Lamouchi never learns

2.) 04 Jul 2020 14:32:44
Shocking foul to give away - he’d shown the pass back to the goalie as well? But can’t knock the game as a whole I’d have taken a point before kick off - well done lads.

3.) 04 Jul 2020 14:37:49
Worral your a joke seconds to play out the game Derby player never gunna even get near the ball and u do that? Hang your head in shame boy.

4.) 04 Jul 2020 14:43:33
Hang your head in shame worral.

5.) 04 Jul 2020 14:45:20
Bad mistake by goalie.

6.) 04 Jul 2020 14:47:30
Samba should have caught he had a mare

7.) 04 Jul 2020 14:48:01
Agreed i thought he had a mare of a game anyway.

8.) 04 Jul 2020 15:08:10
Bit harsh on Worrall yeah should kick himself for that and against the shaggers. But he's been immense and sometimes it happens you know s##t. Grabban should have scored at least one Samba should catch better, we had enough to see game out. We controlled the game and a second it's all over.

9.) 04 Jul 2020 15:17:21
Some comments harsh on Worrall, yes it was a stupid mistake, but he’s been Great all season, yes very disappointing, but a result most of us would have taken a draw before the game,

10.) 04 Jul 2020 16:00:28
Well said Stevie 👍.

11.) 04 Jul 2020 16:38:52
What about Mighten missing the one on one should have buried it, he had one against Huddersfield aswell an missed not clinical enough.

12.) 04 Jul 2020 16:51:18
Haha - arran I’m assuming that’s a joke 🤣 Mighten is a great prospect and should be encouraged 100% great play to even get himself into that position, totally different to someone making a very basic mistake and making a very bad decision 🤷🏻‍♂️.

02 Mar 2020 21:27:38
If I was walker I'd ask to go back to lincoln when we need a goal you bring on bostock just defies logic.

11 Jan 2020 09:19:09
So nufc want 20 million for Gayle, we all know he can score goals at this level but if the club are going to spend that sort of cash surly it makes more sense to look at other options, we have walker worth a go can't be any worse than mir I would also consider looking into lower leagues I going abroad is a mistake.

Dan1975

1.) 11 Jan 2020 10:10:52
He’s never worth that and no way we will spend that kind of money anyway. I’d expect us to go down the route of players whose contracts are nearly up or loans. For a start I’d recall Walker. The lad deserves a chance even if that’s just from the bench initially.

2.) 11 Jan 2020 10:31:31
Agree Perks and Dan, i'd like Gayle but not for 20mill and 40k week wages, if we didn't make the prem we may struggle financially, better to go for sharp, Kodija and recall Walker goodluck today forest, and stop keep giving the ball away.

3.) 11 Jan 2020 10:33:42
We could start using Mighten. If he's on the bench today that could be a signal from Sabri.

4.) 11 Jan 2020 10:59:03
It feels like it’s Mightens time to shine. Worth noting Johnson bagged a couple in the 23’s as well.

5.) 11 Jan 2020 13:15:39
Dwight gayle statistics do not match a £20mil price tag for a near 30 yr old who has been redundant this season. Yeah 23 in 41 last year at wba but very average before that. We do not play the high pressing game that he thrives on anyway. Move on please kodjia is less of a risk but again has he the character to enhance us? Sharp won't come, although things might change towards the window end.
To what is available i think bringing tyler back, if we can, and give mighten some game time could be worth a go. Other than grabban the strikers we have bought or borrowed have been faceless dross from beach country.
So using the chelsea game as an experiment might carry some weight if mighten gets involved!

6.) 11 Jan 2020 13:51:37
Gayle seems have lost his way somewhat, ever since Frank Warren tuck him under his wing. Tom Daley shows how to perform, now he is a proper diver .

7.) 11 Jan 2020 13:57:09
I'd try mighten on one wing lolley on the other both are attacking and having watched mighten in the 23 he is ready for the step up like brennan but both need game time but things are looking good as far as future prospects, got to commend cohen and Brazil for doing a great job.

Just one question guys why don't the fa cup mean anything anymore used to be the cup all teams wanted to win, does it boil down to money or just teams disrespecting a tradition.

Dan1975

1.) 05 Jan 2020 15:42:32
Money as staying in the prem lge is more important now.

2.) 05 Jan 2020 15:43:52
It is a filtering effect, Premier league teams that have European football had their competitions get bigger so they could make more money, so much money was being made teams that did not qualify for European football demanded more of them get to qualify and they got to, that made those competitions even bigger. Those that qualified then started to disrespect the League Cup, the the FA Cup, before you knew it Championship teams were doing the same. It has now got out of hand. 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫

3.) 05 Jan 2020 16:50:34
Bigger prize money in champions league etc. FA cup not what is used to be.

06 Dec 2019 20:39:25
Well well well it's like watching a pub game forest can't pass for shite pity you can only bring 3 subs on as I'd consider taking st leas 9 of I just can't belive rubbish we are playin, I actually think I saw snow on the ball its spen that much time in your air can't see us stopping in the top 6 if we keep this rubbish up.

Chema might do a decent job at left back matty cash as turned out be be a cracking right back, plus how many times as robinson as cost us with sloppy defending so put the 1 million to good use.

If prem give liverpool the title then instead of wrapping up the league give leeds and brom the promotion now the teams that are in the playoffs play them now behind closed doors then whoever wins gets to gu up that way the only teams who can say they are hard done to are the ones out the top 6.

Everyone jumps on carvalhos back he's only 22 so don't think it's a age thing if my memory serves right most fans for bereton was best thing since sliced bread making excuses for him not scoring for us, then when he leaves saying he was crap, same as britt which I thought was truly shocking giving him crap for going to do his job else where for double wages as for carvalho I'd keep him till we find out what league we are in next season if in the prem I think youd see if is talent shines through if we don't go up sell him, if we do go up how many of our current squad are prem quality think carefully as some have played in the prem and didn't make it.

Agree you can tell who will finish in the top spots in prem before it even kicks off at least in this league everyone can beat everyone so makes it all the more exciting the prospects of play offs, if most of our games was away games I'd say watch ya back leeds but the way our home form is I'd say we've got to improve it's still in our own hands where we finish just hope the players don't bottle it, ther other thing is put the young ones in for a game it might be at the minute we are to predictable.

What is the obsession with carvalho on this site wow would people give a toss if he cost 1 million no you wouldn't just seem to see he cost 13 mill how many games has he played this season not many ameobi was dross, semedo just isn't the player he was when he first come you can't always blame 1 player don't hear anyone giving worral crap he and figs were out of position most of the game 3 defenders on 1 millwall player and he gets a goal, they out played us at both ends of the pitch to be honest, I thought we was lucky not to loose by more than we did and yet again carvalho should have had a peno but not sees the good in the lad always the bad, how many shots did grabs gave goal none as he didn't get any service yet again lolley chose to smack the ball than use his brain and put grabs in, the one thing forest are desperate for is a midfielder with a brain or get teddy sheringham to come out of retirement.
