i would prefer Michael Kane and I would take Doucoure from Everton though in CM, good experience in the prem and is a steady player to provide competition.

Michael Kane is a bit too old now JamesStevo! He was a great player in his day, especially in Escape To Victory alongside the great Pele with Rambo in goal. Think he’s busy filming in L. A, but not a lot of people know that.

Balloons nobody is saying the ref affected the result, just that he was crap, for both teams, , and if we’re in tne top 5 at the end of the season we are good enough, if not then we’re not.

You have to agree with that Balloons, I suppose after the last couple of games; way off the pace! Look at Chelsea and Newcastle, much stronger- but there are of course well documented reasons why they are. Question is, Do we deserve CL football after this season?

Wr all know our present squad isn't good enough to compete in the champions league, but when the opportunity arises you have to take it and it attracts better players to compete in it
We weren't ready for the premier league either with five loans contributing massively, bur we bought a team to compete
So when it's on offer you have to take and this group of players have worked so hard to get us here

Apparently the Premier league are dragging their heels, verdict pushed back until the summer, no surprises there. I wouldn't mind betting the verdict won't come until next season has started and they'll get a fine and possible transfer window ban.
If that's the case Everton and us should take a case out on the Premier league seeing as we played fair and admitted we were in the wrong. But agreed Jester, it completely takes the p*ss out of FFP rules and makes them pointless really.

They should give the verdict and when city put in an appeal city should be told they have until a week before the new season. If not resolved they should cancel all city's games and give the opposition 3 points until it's resolved. that would speed up the process.

Its not a strange comment, all the pitches are basically the same sort of size, Wembley being standard, city ground is actually the biggest. So therefore technically all pitches we play on all season are "big pitches". Pitches have to adhere to basic size rules.
