Any sources leaking team news?
Away to Rhodes, so will miss the 2nd half. Fancy a Forest win and MGW to get a goal. COYR.

Enjoy Rhodes mate, great place to visit.

2.) 03 Oct 2023 11:32:06
Cheers Cockneyred. Red card avoidable and MGW had a stormer when he came on. On to Palace, nick an away win. ?.

3.) 15 Aug 2022 16:03:34
The Great Reset is nothing much to be worried about, unless you're one of those kids on the internet that'll believe anything :)

Business end of the season and time to start doing the business. Scrappy 1-0 wins, dogged come from behind draws, not interested in football purity - just get the points on the board. A 6,7 even 8 game unbeaten run will cement our top 6 place, mostly wins and pressure well applied to the top 2. Luck with injuries and more of a fair riub of the green from officials (an agenda surely, too frequent for paranoia) and Forest can achieve. But we do it as a team because Together Everyone Achieves More. COYR.

Scouseduckred

1.) 20 Feb 2020 07:42:32
Our back four and keeper are amoungst the best in the league. And our holding two very strong. It will be scrappy odd goal victories for sure. Very interesting two months scouse.

2.) 20 Feb 2020 11:34:31
Yes, would agree back four and keeper best in the Championship. In many games though holding play in midfield has been non existent - desperation football at times! Lots of scrappy wins already - would like to see some more controlled games and more cohesion. And more goals hopefully.

3.) 20 Feb 2020 20:43:02
Keep your eyes on the prize, 3 points every game. 🤓.

4.) 21 Feb 2020 09:00:36
I agree red hot but though blessed with skilĺ silva does not impact on enough games and maybe its pace that let's him down can't fault his effort something Missing at this level.

5.) 21 Feb 2020 20:57:06
What he lacks is a final ball and goal when in good positions.
What he can do is tackle as well and that's probably why he gets in ahead of carvalho, if ever he can deliver a final ball and score regular he'd be first class.
Nobody has knocked him more than me but he just fits in with the hard working team ethic that we are about.

Forest 1 Palace 0. MGW to score from outside the box.
Back to football please gents.
There's a tab on the page that links to Talk Sense, if you wish to discuss the conspiracies or war.
RIP Larry Lloyd. FTID.

Scouseduckred

1.) 29 Mar 2024 11:36:09
1-0 will do, Scouse. 3 points is what we need.
RIP Big man.

2.) 29 Mar 2024 11:39:43
3-1 to Forest, a last 15 minutes of panic as we concede possession to palace!. If we could get back fortress City Ground, I hope it starts tomorrow.

21 Mar 2024 15:52:00
Burnley away to stay up. Are the players up for it? Probably the only VAR to go our way, their goal disallowed for hand ball. I pray we don't need that win. ?.

Scouseduckred

1.) 21 Mar 2024 16:32:34
Scouse it happened right in front of ‘A” block VAR gave the correct decision, the Burnley player carried the ball forward with his arm in the build up,

2.) 21 Mar 2024 16:49:41
It's totally down to players and coach now Scouse I'm really hoping it doesn't go to that game but it would be the forest way don't think I would be sitting in my recliner for much of that game if it came to it.

3.) 21 Mar 2024 17:55:16
Cheers Balloons, "Set Piece Coach"?!
Sir Brian would have "Set" him on his way out of the WFCG!
With a sore arse!

4.) 21 Mar 2024 18:38:25
Absolutely rogie mate and quite right.
Marinakas looking at moving to Toton mate. Born and bred there. Nice little village 7 miles from city centre. Perfect location right next to M1 easy for every body. Wack a 50, 000 seater there and everybody can get a ticket ?.

5.) 21 Mar 2024 18:49:40
No good moving to Toton
There's nothing around the sidings
No pubs nothing and it's not a village, never has been, joined up with long eaton, Chilwell and Attenborough, which is a village.

6.) 21 Mar 2024 19:42:21
Won't be built in our life time. Years of planning and objections then the whole side not just where the stadium would be built will have to be decontaminated as it's a brown field site. There's a 100years of coal oil diesel and lord knows what else is dumped there. The cost wouldn't be sustainable. If you think we're in the brown stuff now you wait and see if it gets built.

7.) 21 Mar 2024 19:49:12
Can you imagine how much a season ticket would be. Well the cheapest seats for a adult in Fulham New stand is 1, 250pounds going up to 3, 000 pounds. Think about it.

8.) 21 Mar 2024 22:48:14
It would not matter if it was a pound red Vale it would still be to much to get skeggs and balloons off the sofa.

20 Mar 2024 04:49:26
The Times claim we have to sell a 'star player' before the end of June or we'll fail this season's PSR. Is that before or after the Mangala deal goes through?

Scouseduckred

1.) 20 Mar 2024 06:50:28
That’s us in the mire then ? where do we find a ‘star’ player from.

2.) 20 Mar 2024 07:22:24
Agree 2tone, not many to choose from given their performances this season. Perhaps Elanga may be looked at by other clubs, the rest not so sure.

3.) 20 Mar 2024 08:14:39
Murrilo boys he's the one he'll be gone like a hot potato if any of the big boys sniff around. Plus MGW and Awoniyi have interested clubs looking at them. But definitely Murrilo he won't wanna hang around if Liverpool or Arsenal come knocking, probably already told the bosses he wants offside.

4.) 20 Mar 2024 09:12:45
I was listening to a sport lawyer on the radio, he was saying Chelsea will have to sell 200 million worth of players and at least 3 home produced players, one being Gallagher, and having to get at least 50 million for him. If not there punishment this time next year, will make ours and Evertons a slap on the wrist. Oil rich Newcastle are having to sell as well, it's a way of keeping the money between a few teams, and Premier titles. Ambitious owners will go elsewhere or invest in other sports, and these rules don't stop a unscrupulous owner taking over a club look at Reading, it might have Mr Marinakis, at the end of the season saying "I'm off, I don't get this hassle with Rio Avenue! ".

5.) 20 Mar 2024 09:15:19
Murillo will be the most profitable. Signed for £12 million. We would make a healthy profit on him. Same with Elanga as well. Signed for £15 million. We could make a profit on him also. Then the club can waste it on rubbish.

6.) 20 Mar 2024 09:20:53
Murillo on 30 thousand a week 5 year contract even if we go down to championship we wouldn't after getting rid of him on them wages he would only go if a stupid amount of money came in for him.

7.) 20 Mar 2024 12:16:23
Very funny derbyred about par for the club in the last 20 years barring a few.

8.) 20 Mar 2024 12:24:57
Not about the wages skeggy Jay its about how much we have spent this season when the accounts are submitted in June. Plus last season plus 1 from the championship will be counted as the permitted 3 years, by my reckoning that will mean we will be allowed to lose 83 million. So if we are over budget again it will be see you later alligator to one or 2 players. Plenty of admirers for Murrilo and MGW. As we know loyalty in football is dead, can't see them 2 wanting to stick around if any of the top 7 come lurching like vultures even if we weren't in FFP trouble. The elite will always win " us small clubs just have to suck it up, make these players better players then let those knob scratches cherry pick who they want
. At least we will make a small profit which we can then waste on crap.

9.) 20 Mar 2024 12:54:28
I know what it's about Clough daddy same as it was for Johnson but we still hold all the cards to how much we get for him same as Johnson we don't after take peanuts for him or we keep him and sell mgw it would be the latter for me anyway we will be staying up so not really a concern.

10.) 20 Mar 2024 14:16:53
Well let's hope your right. Don't matter how much we hold out for though mate if a player wants offski then so be it, get rid. No point in keeping a player if he wants to go. Anyway my point wasn't about how much we get but having to sell because we overspent massively because our owner acted like a brat in a sweet shop. So it could be one or both that go, maybe none but I can see us selling at least one. Personally I think MGW will be happy to stay for the time being but think Murrilo who's been here a season would knock. on the door saying he wants to go if any of the top clubs come sniffing. Fight relegation at a new prem club or play chsmpions league football and have a chance of silverware. Loyalties don't exist anymore pal.

11.) 20 Mar 2024 14:46:11
Nobody's going to buy old chandelier legs Awoniyi. He's a total dud 10 games a season if all goes well.
We're stuck with him sadly but we're not going down anyway so roll on next season. This one's dead in the water for the second time in 2yrs. When you look how crap West Ham were last season and look at there league position now. Why couldn't we do that. We spent more money. Thank you Mr Cooper?.

12.) 20 Mar 2024 14:47:36
I know that there's only loyalty to money and I'm not sure about the fact mgw would be happy to stop here more than the fact I couldn't see any of the big teams making a move for him wouldn't say he's had a great season so far Murillo on other hand would get the pick of top 6 clubs but has I said at the right price pal.

13.) 20 Mar 2024 16:31:16
Someone still doesn't understand that the manager doesn't buy the players at forest.

14.) 20 Mar 2024 19:08:06
We don't know that we would need to sell players, we have some big earners off the books at end of June with their contracts up
Journalists won't know the current financial situation of forest or other clubs, they are just assuming
They might be right, but then again they could be wrong.

15.) 20 Mar 2024 21:51:38
You predict it 79 your always wrong ?.

16.) 20 Mar 2024 22:29:50
Where is there a prediction in my post?

16 Mar 2024 11:12:46
I'm desperately trying to not let today's game dominate my thoughts, chuffing hell it's nigh on impossible. So brave face and think Dr Pepper 'What's the worst that could happen? ' No club is relegated today but a win would be massive, for both clubs.
So Skegs, I'm going BTTS, Forest win and Chris Wood anytime. This game won't be for the faint hearted, like an early episode of Dr Who, viewed from behind the couch. COYR and as always FTID.

For me it will be like the Saturday Night Horror Double Bill on a Saturday night!

2.) 16 Mar 2024 13:09:29
In October we had a sort of family get together on the beach in the afternoon. It Forest v Luton and my daughter had her phone on for the score. All was well until about 4.50 when she showed ne the score. Well, I lost it and threw one (to my eventual embarrassment. ) Felt at the time that this was a big loss of 2 points and I was right!
Coincidence? Would you believe the same people have come here again this weekend and want to walk on the beach again this afternoon. I have refused to go with them this time. I will follow on text/ SKY. I hope that this is a good omen for us.

3.) 16 Mar 2024 13:18:04
I just hope Nottingham Forest are 4-0 up at half time, no make that 5-0 just to be sure, and then I can put me blood pressure machine back in the box, and enjoy the second half, UREDS.

26 Feb 2024 17:40:35
Everton seem happy to get 4 points back. I think it just means we're both likely to get 6 points deducted next month.

Scouseduckred

1.) 26 Feb 2024 19:03:28
Just announced on the 6 o. clock news that the next ruling by the PL will be in the middle of April!
You couldn’t make it up.
CARLO.

2.) 26 Feb 2024 20:06:55
Appeasing the city of Liverpool, watch when we come up before this kangaroo court, they’ll throw the book at us.

{Ed025's Note - its certainly not appeasing Everton Stevie, we should not have been docked even 1 point never mind 6 mate, the pandemic meant our new ground cost went up from £500m to £800m up to now, and with the interest rate rise and other mitigating circumstances compounded it..

3.) 26 Feb 2024 20:15:01
Did say by the 15th of April, which I believe was always the case
Brentford 2nil down after seven minutes to that very poor West ham team Fred.

4.) 26 Feb 2024 20:20:12
April 2099 for man city. Just bent.

5.) 26 Feb 2024 20:44:42
I didn't say they were a poor side 79. I said they were rammel against us on the day, they were and you know it.
Yes it was one of our best performances of the season but they were poor on the day just like Villa would have been saying about us on Saturday.

6.) 26 Feb 2024 20:43:38
Ed025 so what’s this new charge all about? And I’m assuming everton technically broke the parameters of ffp, also I didn’t think ground improvements:/ building were subject to ffp, ?

{Ed025's Note - all spending is relevant as far as i know Stevie, its about the relevance of income against outgoings, the amount of losses you can make has not been upgraded for 10 years and is well out of date mate, the people who run the premier league are not fit for purpose as far as i am concerned and until that changes the smaller clubs like us will always be on the receiving end..

7.) 26 Feb 2024 20:52:56
Judging by the moyes out banners they've been poor for a while.
Paqueta makes a massive difference to them though.

8.) 26 Feb 2024 20:54:29
Don't bite redfred 79s making out we should beat every team we play now just so he can have a go at nuno when we lose even against top teams in form sad really but it makes him happy ?.

9.) 26 Feb 2024 20:58:30
Fred perhaps we made them look poor.

10.) 26 Feb 2024 21:05:42
Ed I’m pretty sure ground upgrades and new stadiums have no impact on ffp mate.

{Ed025's Note - they were mentioned in our defence statement Stevie as mitigation mate so it will have had an impact on our financial situation..

11.) 26 Feb 2024 21:19:34
Yeah Paqueta is quality.

12.) 26 Feb 2024 21:33:58
Make it four Fred
By the way skeggs villa weren't in great form at home lost their previous three home games before meeting us.

13.) 26 Feb 2024 23:03:02
Suppose the "Moyes out brigade" will have to back off again.

14.) 26 Feb 2024 23:30:09
What have them scoring 4 tonight got to do with how they played against us ?.
They went to Fulham in December and had 5 stuck past them like we did so should we have beaten them by more than 2 or because they scored 4 tonight shouldn't we have beaten them at all? ??.

15.) 26 Feb 2024 23:35:23
Stevie did Villa make us look poor or were we just crap?

16.) 27 Feb 2024 06:59:22
I’m sure I read somewhere that investment into the academy isn't included along with things such as women’s football? So you can throw money at women’s football but not men’s? Everyone including tv, media etc can lose money and try to create interest in the ladies game but you can’t do the same for the established game that can potentially make money? Profit and sustainability ??

{Ed001's Note - but there is more potential for growth in the women's game. By the way, until women's football was banned by the FA it had bigger crowds in England. That is why the FA banned it, because it was affecting crowds at the male football. The woman's game is growing at a huge rate, it makes far more sense to invest in that than the men's game, which has little return on the investment in terms of growth.}

17.) 27 Feb 2024 08:14:11
That's why it's hard to predict who will beat who and who will go down
Luton getting beat on their own patch against Sheffield a prime example
Against villa we were poor, with no left back which villa played on
Game was lost with team selection
The way nuno sets up with 4, 2, 1, 3 looks better on the eye going forwards but leaves us wide open in midfield aswell, as often it turns into 4, 2 4, that needs to change in away games by leaving one of the wingers out and strengthening midfield imo.

18.) 27 Feb 2024 10:12:09
Fred we were crap, wrong team picked didn’t help.

19.) 27 Feb 2024 10:26:45
It needs sorting ASAP because it's a joke have they got a couple of dice they chuck and whatever lands = points deduction

The rules as they stand ain't fit for purpose 10 points for an overspend yet 9 for entering administration

And those presiding over those rules are inept.

Rumour has it the penalty was 6 points. Forest lodged an early appeal and cooperated, hence the reduction to 4. If true, I believe it is unlikely the club will appeal. Some clarity at least and we have our fate in our own hands ( Burnley, Everton and Sheff Utd to play).

Interesting analysis RC. I've read that our championship losses used up our 'allowance'. £13 million per season and £35 million for first PL season, we overspent by £61 million before promotion.
Crux will be, what have we spent and generated in our first season back?
It would appear we're not allowed any losses, so BJ sale could be crucial. I like Forest in the news but prefer if it was footballing issues.

I can't see past the first game and nervous about that. Cliche I know but I'd take a draw before we kick off. If we start predicting the other results, we'll stress ourselves out.
Regarding PSR, the league have painted themselves into a corner.
The treatment of Everton and Forest v Citeh and Chelsea is inexcusable. The likelihood of court action, involving Referee's, the PL, relegated clubs will damage the PL brand. Appeal hearings after the season's end, an absolute farce.
I also hear they will be scrapping the PSR in it's current form, so how can you sanction some clubs but not others?
Maranakis has employed the best legal advice, so my head says 6 points and watching the rest of the season through my hands.
My heart prays for a fine and transfer ban. FTID.
