Business end of the season and time to start doing the business. Scrappy 1-0 wins, dogged come from behind draws, not interested in football purity - just get the points on the board. A 6,7 even 8 game unbeaten run will cement our top 6 place, mostly wins and pressure well applied to the top 2. Luck with injuries and more of a fair riub of the green from officials (an agenda surely, too frequent for paranoia) and Forest can achieve. But we do it as a team because Together Everyone Achieves More. COYR.
1.) 20 Feb 2020 07:42:32
Our back four and keeper are amoungst the best in the league. And our holding two very strong. It will be scrappy odd goal victories for sure. Very interesting two months scouse.
2.) 20 Feb 2020 11:34:31
Yes, would agree back four and keeper best in the Championship. In many games though holding play in midfield has been non existent - desperation football at times! Lots of scrappy wins already - would like to see some more controlled games and more cohesion. And more goals hopefully.
3.) 20 Feb 2020 20:43:02
Keep your eyes on the prize, 3 points every game. π€.
4.) 21 Feb 2020 09:00:36
I agree red hot but though blessed with skilΔΊ silva does not impact on enough games and maybe its pace that let's him down can't fault his effort something Missing at this level.
5.) 21 Feb 2020 20:57:06
What he lacks is a final ball and goal when in good positions.
What he can do is tackle as well and that's probably why he gets in ahead of carvalho, if ever he can deliver a final ball and score regular he'd be first class.
Nobody has knocked him more than me but he just fits in with the hard working team ethic that we are about.

SL Championship Manager of the Month, Forest 'joint top' of the Championship, City Ground full, squad coping injuries? Pinch me, I must be dreaming. COYR. π.
1.) 11 Oct 2019 09:42:19
Yeah, well done to him, the rest of the staff and the players, thoroughly deserved Mr Lamouchi, doing a sterling job.
2.) 11 Oct 2019 12:10:22
Not just City Ground full either. Pretty much every away game we are asking for more tickets!
3.) 11 Oct 2019 22:13:42
Other than Wigan it's getting hard to get an away ticket even as a season card holder.
13 Apr 2019 11:22:10
My Villa mate and season ticket holder, is convinced Lolley will sign in the Summer. Obvious rumour as he's a Villa fan but if he goes, how much could we expect? Β£20m in todays market? More importantly, who do we replace him with? π.
1.) 13 Apr 2019 13:41:11
Osborn Scouce. The perfect replacement for anyone in any position.
2.) 13 Apr 2019 16:51:15
We'll probably replace him with a "Joker"!!!
πππ
3.) 13 Apr 2019 18:30:19
That will be Cummings thenπ€£
4.) 13 Apr 2019 20:32:19
Cummings will be Goings LC.
5.) 14 Apr 2019 07:58:59
If we had any backbone we would refuse to sell him.
6.) 15 Apr 2019 11:46:52
Villa will not want Lolley in the Premiership he is not good enough!
7.) 16 Apr 2019 06:59:35
I think Villa will choke in the play offs, just a feeling.
12 Jan 2019 23:28:12
Down to 9th, still only 4 points off top 6. Next fixtures, Bristol City, Wigan and Brentford at home before WBA away. That performance has moved the goal posts somewhat. Our back four will take some picking too. Are we realistically going to have a new manager in by next Sat?
Some have rumoured the club had no one lined up, a tad careless? General consensus is ex-Fulham manager. He's currently being paid PL wages and after watching today, may stay at home collecting said wages. I full of doom and gloom at our short term prospects. Certain fans casually claiming, once we get the new man in, we can clear AK's dross and get back up the league.
That's assuming they're AK's choices, that's assuming we can afford to replace them in a shrinking window, that's assuming the new manager gets appointed soon and succeeds where so many have failed before him. Never assume, it makes an ASS out of U and ME. I regrettably predict a bottom half finish for Forest, 14th seems about right. Β£10 of my money, for every place higher we finish, to the charity of FF79 and Skeggies choice. Their wisdom knows no bounds. π FTID.
1.) 12 Jan 2019 23:52:05
Better get some extra shifts in then scouse.
2.) 13 Jan 2019 07:25:30
AK should of stayed on for the reading game then resigned, if I decided to leave my job I would have to work a full week why should football managers be any different. Were a shambles yet again
3.) 13 Jan 2019 08:32:30
Don't mind if I have to FF.π
4.) 13 Jan 2019 08:35:40
Scouse that's a lot of assuming mate and 14th is a improvement on last season and a one place improvement on where I thought krankie would take us 15th so all in all its all good π
5.) 13 Jan 2019 09:52:32
Oh you are awful Skeggie but I like you.ππ
03 Dec 2018 21:36:18
I'm going to say it, not to upset the romantics amongst you but I truly believe it's for the best. Please play well Forest but lose to Chelsea, then get back to your proper jobs of getting us promoted. Eyes on the prize you reds. π.
1.) 04 Dec 2018 02:04:30
I agree. But a score draw and a game replay at city ground could turn out to be a win for us. i reckon its a blessing too as we can play premier league opposition soon already haha
I'm going for 2-2
2.) 04 Dec 2018 08:21:29
Nah, go out there and smash them 5 - 0 then lose to burton in the next round. Do it the forest way.
3.) 04 Dec 2018 16:48:38
5-1 last year, hope it will be closer this year, it's a good test for us.

Sat 18th Sep 2021, Steven Reid takes charge of first game since Chris Hughton sacked. Huddersfield away, 2-0 to Forest, Grabban and Owen Goal. In comes Cooper and now Forest on the cusp of greatness. What a ride. Our great club has spluttered and threatened to rumble back to life but misfired and stalled, to our dismay. Cooper has got this V12 engine of a club, fully serviced and reconditioned, all parts slick and working together. Tea lady to Director, all pushing the same way. No egos, no agendas, all about Nottingham Forest and Nottingham. So proud of what we have achieved so far. The final will be tough and we have to earn the right to beat them, they are there on merit too.
My birthday weekend and selfishly I want the best birthday present for 23 years, Nottingham Forest promoted. COYR and always FTID.

In the words of Bill Hicks.
"Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid,
ever, because this is just a ride".
What a rollercoaster of emotions, we seem to do things the hard way but 2 big performances and we have achieved. Now for one more outstanding performance and cement your place in history. COYR. πππ.

Had Spence to have 1 shot on target, Robinson booked and Forest win. Side netting cost me Β£600.π.
1.) 14 May 2022 20:07:31
We won and always been confident.
2.) 14 May 2022 21:17:13

Change of plan then. Will there be anyone left in Nottingham to watch the game and savour the atmosphere? I'm guessing the ratio of women to men will go up. π
Any recommendations for biggest venue, most screens etc?
24 May 2022 15:13:39
Hope not. Huddersfield getting extra too. π€.
20 May 2022 11:22:19
That feeling when you can't buy (I believe in miracles) a ticket until 25th May. πππ.
18 May 2022 07:54:00
First thing I said Rutland, he had to be in an offside position. Clearly interfering with play. Luckily if didn't effect the result, this time.
07 May 2022 15:34:25
Thanks but will be suffering in work. Can't even watch or listen. Fingers crossed we get a result next Saturday. π€.
