I hope Palace win tonight. With the possible points deduction we're facing, I want as many as possible between us and 18th. Evertons deduction should cancel out ours and then I would expect us to put more points than them on the board by the end of the season. And put another 7 or pts.

I’d think if SC has got any sense he will take time out to be with his family and re charge his batteries as performance miracles for 2 seasons ( and living and breathing Nottingham Forest) which must take a toll.
So, he will go to a Premiership club which he, firstly, will choose and, secondly, deserve him, with his passion, dedication and commitment.
Some posters on here think established Premiership managers arrive fully formed and perfect, gift wrapped in a little box marked “Guaranteed success “.
Doesn’t work like that, young coaches new to the top flight have to gain experience and endure the fallow periods, like the Moyes, the Allerdyces, the Dyches. They all experienced failure and leant from it.
Even the greatest of them all Sir Alex had a torrid time when he arrived from the desert wastes which is Scottish football. He was lucky in some regards that he was Academy gifted half his team of world class footballers like the Nevilles, Butt, Scholes, Beckham Giggs. Supplemented by creaming off the best young talent of other clubs like Keane from us and Rooney from Everton. Man U stuck with him and the rest is history.
But we move on and send our best wishes to SC. He will go on to greater things. Meanwhile in Nuno we trust ( but let’s bear in mind the gap between us and relegation is 5 points, the same as when SC was removed).

KTF Chimaera! I agree with everything you say. But it's also fair to point out that Nuno came straight into a relegation fight, lost a handful of players during the African Nations, has been without his main striker for most of his tenure and had 4pts deducted. We'll stay up and WILL be a mid table team next season.

Dead right 2Stars. He looked disinterested on the day he signed. Probably a last moment call from his agent begging him to sign for the fee percentage and twice as much money as anyone else would pay him.

Luton have got guts. They go for it. They're just not very good. That's why they are where they are in the league. A draw wouldn't be a complete disaster tomorrow. With our run in, I'd expect us to put at least another 5 or six points on Luton and more than Everton as well whose points deduction will probably negate ours.
