I've just been reading the last couple of pages of posts. Some brilliant comments, well done Reds. However, one thing jumped out of the page at me - Polly's comment about last night at the TBI.
I've posted before and spoke last night with the lads at the TBI about being fascinated by the psychology on this forum. No, most of us have never met in person - but I think it's amazing how much you can actually get a 'feel' of someone's true character even solely online. It does intrigue me tbh.
Hence, Polly's comment. This is not a 'have a go' message. Quite the opposite. I'm just really interested to know why someone who mixes sociably online with other Forest supporters would avoid face-to-face contact with the same people given the opportunity?
Each to their own I suppose - but I do find it strange.
Polly?

Sorry lego thought I'd share my favourite psychology quote with you. ?
“Maybe plants are really farming us, giving us oxygen until we eventually expire and turn into mulch which they can consume. ”
COYR ?.

Was good to hear old carlo was still alive and kicking, bless him, good on ya lego. And yeah spot on with polly. Strange one. Didn't need posting tbh. Should have just kept it to himself. But each to there own lego. You cannot dissect everyone on here. Just post away.
3.) 03 Apr 2025 20:56:14
Excellent post Legless. It does make you think.
There are some brilliant posters on this site and I would like to think I would get along with them nicely if we met. I'm sure those of you who have met have had a great time but there are always exceptions.
Shopping gate involving Stellaboy ( skegs) and Ff ( Dtp) has led to many disagreements on here albeit tongue in cheek.
I've long decided that this is a social media site only and happy to carry on like that. Wierd that someone would actually be there and not join in though.
4.) 03 Apr 2025 20:58:27
Lego met quite a few and keep in touch with some
This is just my opinion though
I think the site was better before meet ups as it creates little cliques and actually stops you from posting sometimes.
Just my take on it.
5.) 03 Apr 2025 21:10:32
Thanks for your comments chaps. Please don't think that I'm being disrespectful to Polly. Maybe he is a massive introvert - which I get. I just don't understand the situation that's all.
6.) 03 Apr 2025 21:19:45
I'll be honest Lego sometimes on a match day i know i don't like talking much, its that mix of nerves and my little brain going into overdrive of what could happen, playing all the possible outcomes in my head, thank the duck for beer??????.
7.) 03 Apr 2025 21:24:42
Don't think he's introvert, just socially inadequate. Nothing wrong with that I believe he may have problems with one to one or group meetings, I've seen it a lot in the haulage business, some people are better on their own, on the outside looking in. its a shame the group could have done him a world of good.
8.) 03 Apr 2025 21:24:55
Carlo was in good form Bowie and it was great to meet with him at last (as well as McGovern and Stokey). Yeah, I agree with both you, Gaz and DTP - all a bit weird. Let's try not to judge though and await Polly's response. I'm sure he has his own reasons behind his behaviour - I just hope that he's not embarrassed to be seen with someone wearing metal legs.
9.) 03 Apr 2025 21:41:52
Bless ya, good to see ya enjoyed anyway. Love old carlo just not his politics. Met him few times. Lotta knowledge, which I never took for granted. Mr B he used to call me. ( never did work out what the B was for) ???.
10.) 03 Apr 2025 21:57:58
I don't buy that red Vale one bit.
11.) 03 Apr 2025 22:00:01
I've posted before about my own issues regarding PTSD. I went through a stage where for months I couldn't even leave my own home - let alone socialise with anyone.
Let's remain kind and await Polly's reply.
12.) 03 Apr 2025 22:00:51
Anyways lego
What happened to sir Brian and Doris
They don't leave till 5 mins before kick off?.
13.) 03 Apr 2025 22:07:55
Legolas, if not for the time of kick off would have loved to welcome you to Nottingham. Hope you and your lad can get over again soon. As for Polly, i am sure he's a good bloke and a laugh, but when some people post there alter ego can take over and post things they would never say in public. Anyway sometimes it's best to imagine what there like, I picture Polly in a bedsit with a tin foil hat on?. Only joking Polly.
14.) 03 Apr 2025 22:28:28
With your user name I'm not allowed to post what I imagine ???.
15.) 03 Apr 2025 23:18:41
There is some sort of helmet involved though.
16.) 04 Apr 2025 04:31:55
You wouldn't be far of the mark DTP?.
Polly hope you post again, it takes all sorts to make a good Banter site, and when I read your posts I'm wondering if your serious or winding us up?.
17.) 04 Apr 2025 08:05:48
We didn't end up in the TBI after all we went from Navi to the ground. Sorry folks.
18.) 04 Apr 2025 18:03:51
Polly put Steve chettle on we all have tea. ? it's Friday I'm in love haha.
19.) 04 Apr 2025 22:42:56
Winter, mate what you say is true……
1st law of physics, matter cannot be created or destroyed only changed ( likewise energy).
Or as Joni Mitchell sang in “ Woodstock”
We are stardust
Million year old carbon
Part of the Devils bargain
And we have to get ourselves
Back to the garden “
When we die ( and nobody leaves here alive) your molecules and mine could, conceivably, be part of a galaxy far far away …….
I reckon the Buddhists got it at least half right…….
20.) 04 Apr 2025 22:54:18
I reckon you read to much stokey
I prefer the outdoors and making life in the greenhouse then seeing it bloom in the garden.
21.) 04 Apr 2025 23:53:58
Stokey those Buddhists are definitely on to someone ??.
22.) 05 Apr 2025 00:03:05
I hate winter trees they have no leaves or life till the sun shines again in spring ?
Have a good day in in Birmingham and hopefully a win ???.
23.) 05 Apr 2025 00:04:49
**something ??.
31 Mar 2025 23:15:45
I just have to say that for any of my fellow Reds that I'll be meeting tomorrow - I guess I'm old fashioned and I like to meet people that I haven't met before standing up. I don't like shaking hands whilst sat in my wheelchair.
I know this must sound a bit weird, but it's the way I deal with things nowadays. Please bear with me in the process of standing up - Awoniyi getting up from a tackle may spring to mind!
Hopefully see some of you guys tomorrow at the TBI.
1.) 01 Apr 2025 09:49:49
Have a great day Lego mate. Sorry I won’t be able to meet you, currently in Spain.
Enjoy it buddy ??.
31 Mar 2025 22:23:05
Not sure why my profile has gone back onto LeglessRed, as opposed to Legolas. ED?
{Ed033's Note - Did you send this post using an older or different device when you were using the LeglessRed username?
If so, you log out of the LeglessRed username on that device and then log back in as Legolas on that device.
1.) 31 Mar 2025 23:19:18
OK thanks Ed033.
31 Mar 2025 21:44:12
I shouldn't have left it this late to ask - but is wheelchair access to the TBI OK? I did plan to walk in but my stumps are playing up atm and I don't think I can.
1.) 31 Mar 2025 22:19:20
There's double doors at the side of the building where I've seen wheelchairs gaining entry. These doors are closed to the public, The blokes on the door are a decent bunch, they'll sort you out I'm sure.
2.) 31 Mar 2025 22:32:41
Lego the door is really wide and one of the only witherspoon with downstairs toilets ?
So you'll have no worries.
3.) 31 Mar 2025 22:48:58
OK. thanks Gents. Puts my mind at rest.

I love the fact that we are sticking two fingers up to the football convention again! Forest are proving that Managers obsessed with possession and passes-completed stats are worthless.
Again, we ignored that rubbish and played with old-fashioned passion and fight today - combined with superb skill/ speed on the counter and being comfortably solid in defence. Well done!
IMO Forest playing this form of football is not only effective and entertaining, but also good for our sport as a whole. We are, at last, showing others how to play football and I'm loving it!
1.) 26 Dec 2024 18:26:12
And we are doing it the in right way mate.
Nuno not talking us up too much which I'm liking alot.
That will endear a lot of other football fans to us, great management.
2.) 26 Dec 2024 18:27:21
As Lineker alluded to on MOTM last week it's reminiscent of Leicesters title winning style.42% possession over the season.
3.) 26 Dec 2024 19:21:33
Maranakis meeting players again what a owner. part of the skeg/ greek mafia. ?.
4.) 26 Dec 2024 19:26:58
I can only allude to the above. I said to my friend as we were watching it “ do you know what, we are a good side, we really are”. And they are. Free scoring Tottenham never looked liked scoring as far as I could see.
Love the fact Nuno says we haven’t achieved anything. As I said before, all these little things make big things.
Little hinges swing big doors!
C0YR!
5.) 26 Dec 2024 20:17:43
Don't you think. it was better under cooper then Arizona giving the fist pumps. i thought everyone needed a manager that showed passion. or is it calmness and getting results that matter most what a humble manager.
6.) 26 Dec 2024 20:28:27
Very well put Arizona. From very dubious beginnings, I think we now have one of the best defensive lines (including goalie) in the PL. Midfield, truthfully, I worry about at times but attacking players - again, I think are some of the best.
That pass from MGW for the goal I have to say was sublime.

It was a pleasure to meet you too McGovern. Thank you so much for the 'Forest pressie' mate. I can't stop myself from opening the box way too much to listen to the crowd singing Mull of Kintyre!
As for that idiot next to us - I think that you did well to restrain yourself from thumping him there and then. The guy brought a bad name to both Forest supporters and 'disabled' people alike. As for his disability, I know that I shouldn't judge - however, my gut feeling is that the guy was in a mobility scooter as he is too fat and too drunk to walk.
I agree that the Stewards should have sorted him out. Very frustrating.

Love it DTP. Awful spelling though.
