Is Cafu?
a: an attacking midfielder.
b: a defensive midfielder.
c: a box to box midfielder.
d: none of the above.
Who on the Forest bench is constantly shouting his name throughout every game he plays?
I never hear any instructions shouted out to any of the players, even Cafu.
All I can hear all game is "Cafu, Cafu, Cafu".
Very strange.

Red Fred

1.) 27 Dec 2020 13:15:19
Sub goalie. 😀😀.

2.) 27 Dec 2020 14:41:57
Cafu could be good but we will never know with both Yates and Sow never feeding him the ball.

3.) 28 Dec 2020 11:40:13
Cafu might be good at somthing but definitely not football, maybe he'd be good at running a cafu.

4.) 28 Dec 2020 17:09:50
Yes a very loud Cafoooooo Cafoooo! Sounds like Hughton to me. Seems like a willing player but not pulled up many trees yet.

04 Nov 2020 22:13:22
A wins a win but I seriously believe we're relegation fodder after that performance.
First half was an improvement but some of the passing was still awful.
Players can't even choose the right studs. Maybe don't water the pitch as much before kick off?
We can't keep the ball for sustained periods, can't make simple passes, don't look fit compared to the opposition and don't get anywhere near enough players in the opposition box when attacking.

Fred i see your point. I only saw 2 min highlights and defensively it was a horror show. The awful thing i noticed was crosses from deep wide positions which should be easy to defend were not. The header from ohare, his run was unchallenged. I think overall its obvious the majority of the players are simply not up to it. Christie is a liability, still don't rAte the keeper, though he does make crucial saves with his feet. I think mckenna is sound taylor has something but needs support. Maybe as i now cannot see the whole games its unfair to make judgements but i do think unless Chris gets to keep his job or indeed wants it up to Jan window we are going to struggle. How precious those 3 lucky points were lastnight is anybodies guess.

2.) 05 Nov 2020 19:23:38
To be fair fred your post is just full of truths as to how we are playing.

3.) 08 Nov 2020 04:00:38
Since CH took over he has averaged 1.7 points per game so its not as bad as everyone thinks. And the team will only improve over time 👍.

4.) 08 Nov 2020 16:00:15
The biggest problem we have is our support, the negativity and misery it spreads is alarming. We lose they go into complete meltdown, we draw and supporters look at every mis timed pass, every slice, slip and miss. If we win, the opposition is criticised or comments are made that we are not good enough, or players are singled out. It’s driving me mad. I can handle us not playing well or even losing but it’s the morons on social media that frustrate me. Thank god Facebook, Twitter and all these other groups didn’t exist when Cloughie was at the helm.

5.) 08 Nov 2020 18:08:19
Thats the modern world we live in my freind.
Press have always been there to scrutinise, tv plays replay after replay to show how badley a team was done by in slow motion.
Football is a passionate game, if you would lije everyone just to say well done every week, even in defeat or when playing badly, then football is the wrong sport.
Like most you can't see its an opinion in how an individual sees things.
This site would not exist without differing opinions and sir brian didn't have to put up with, nor would have to have had to put up with it because he was a great manager.
When your a small club like us you had to enjoy every minute of it and i certainly did.

6.) 09 Nov 2020 11:25:20
Why single players out? At the moment Yates is public enemy number 1, before him Watson until he put in a great season, before him was osbourne, the list goes on! If they wear our shirt we should support them, the manager picks the team!

7.) 09 Nov 2020 12:30:51
Its the same at every football club.
Our fans aren't unique.
If you live amongst derby fans they are just the same.

8.) 09 Nov 2020 13:18:49
If you think the biggest problem we have is our support after the way Forest has been run for almost the past decade and the total capitulation last season then good luck to you Pascal.
Do you not think any of that alone is deserving of any criticism?
Like Ff says, it's the same at any club and is not just restricted to Forest.
If you don't like what you read on social media then stay away from it, simples.

9.) 10 Nov 2020 08:40:21
Pascal, I agree, I genuinely feel some people are just miserable and come on here to vent, tough times right now.

10.) 10 Nov 2020 13:25:03
Yes perhaps I should stay away from it, I am thankful that non of these negative people are my friends. I enjoy going to watch NFFC home and away and love the club. I am disappointed when we lose or draw when we maybe should have won. I’m not in a position to criticise any of the players as I am not a pro footballer or manager and could do any better. I’ll carry on supporting the club although I have left all the Facebook and Twitter groups as reading all the bile left me feeling down. People are entitled to their opinion but negativity is like a disease.

11.) 10 Nov 2020 18:02:11
So when you go to a game what do you talk about with your mates after the match.

12.) 10 Nov 2020 23:38:12
for the last few seasons they've dominated matches and conceded late equalisers loads of times. now they win playing while playing rubbish and they're relegation fodder?
it's a new manager and a load of new players and they're grinding out some results. i think we should all chill.

13.) 11 Nov 2020 20:37:25
I just don't see the point in going to a football match and having no opinion because you don't feel qualified as your not a manager?

01 Oct 2019 21:50:47
Good point at a ground that is usually a graveyard for us.
Game was there for the taking though against a bang average Blackburn side.
Hard to know what our style of play is after that display. If it's counter attack then the touch and passing simply isn't good enough.
Maybe try passing the ball to each other to see a game out rather than just hoofing it and soaking up pressure. We're getting away with it at the moment but won't keep doing Plus my finger nails won't last for much longer unless we can see games out with a bit more comfort.

Red Fred

1.) 01 Oct 2019 22:19:54
Sorry fred totally disagree nine games without defeat and your saying its because "were getting away with it? "
Poppy cock we are a hard working team that never knows when to stop running.
Not sure what you want from them? 🤔.

2.) 01 Oct 2019 22:39:26
I don't think Fred is diaputing the effort or work rate, that's there for all to see. I think we just need to show a bit more composure when we win the ball back. That way you make the opposition chase the ball and give the defence a breather. Having said that we have to be happy with another point on the road and if we follow that up with a win in the next home game it's been another good week for the Reds.

3.) 01 Oct 2019 23:11:11
Your living in dreamland saying we'll be in the top 2 by the end of October and 15 points from next 3 games, well that ones already let you down.
Listen I'm overjoyed where we are in the league and the fact we ain't a soft touch anymore. But if you think we're playing well in games then you need to go to Specsavers.
The championship this season looks like it won't be dominated by one or two teams and we stand a decent chance of a top six finish but we can't keep hanging on for dear life at the end of games because it will eventually go wrong and we'll concede late on and some of the confidence will go.
I'm sure Its not Lamouchi's remit to see games out like we are doing and he's working on our ball retention to ease the late pressure but after some of the passing tonight he's got his work cut out.

4.) 02 Oct 2019 07:51:23
Lamouchi will realise he made a mistake in bring on Silva as that invited Blackburn to come at us with sow on we looked far more composed.
Ok we won't get the fifteen points but we will still be top two by end of October not seen anything yet that is better and stronger than us.
Been saying from the second game we are not going to control games we are a counter attacking side built on a good solid defence.
Wont be pretty at times but its effective.

5.) 02 Oct 2019 12:25:41
Just to point out that the bench were going crackers at the back four for dropping off after the substitutions so Joe needs to learn from this and take control rather than criticise the substitutions?

29 Dec 2018 19:12:23
All the early season optimism has evaporated in the space of 7 games.
Can't come back from a one goal deficit to even salvage a point in 3 of those games.
Cannot defend a lead, two nil up at Villa and three nil up at Norwich in two of those games.
If you can't fight back in a game or hold on to a lead then your really shafted!

Red Fred

1.) 29 Dec 2018 19:22:55
Can't put it better than that Fred, but some still think we are making progress 🤔🤔

2.) 29 Dec 2018 20:20:53
Some Delusional individuals FF?

3.) 31 Dec 2018 14:11:42
30% win rate 🤔

07 Apr 2018 18:28:39
After a decent unbeaten run gave us some breathing space we are back to being an embarrassing shambles of a team that are all to easy to score against.
If Brentford do the usual in the week and turn us over at home then by the time we get to play the Barnsley fixture it could have massive significance and could see them overtake us in the league.

That postponement could really cost us as at the time if we'd managed to beat them we would have been as good as safe. Now they are playing better and we are getting worse.

Red Fred

1.) 07 Apr 2018 19:45:09
Good post Fred but the warning signs have been there for a while now.
Not scoring is always going to end badly as it's a matter of time before we started leaking goals again.
To many loans in the side,it never works long term.
Time to drop them all and play players who are here next season.
Other than tobias I don't want to see any of the others next season.

2.) 07 Apr 2018 20:58:15
Very true. Keeping clean sheets papered over the cracks somewhat.
Apart from the QPR game where everything we hit went in, goals have been as rare as hens teeth. Once the clean sheets dried up it was always going to spell trouble.

3.) 07 Apr 2018 21:51:49
Three goals I've seen in all our home games fred and one away at hull.
Given up with away games too expensive a day to watch his tactics.
Stands there with his hands in his pockets.
Shows no passion and it shows on the pitch.

Couldn't pass wind tonight.
That had more than just a passing resemblance of a performance under Hughton.
We just don't look anywhere near as threatening at home so Cooper maybe needs a change of plan.
I understand playing Taylor with another game on Friday but he should have been hauled off at half time due to his ill discipline and the fact he couldn't trap a bag of cement.

Red Fred

29 Sep 2021 21:55:43
I wasn't overly impressed when I saw Zinkernagel playing in place of a striker but credit to Cooper for mixing things up and knowing the right time to introduce one.
Under Hughton that game would have finished 1-0 or more to Barnsley.
How refreshing to see counter-attacking football played with pace and purpose but don't expect all opposition defenses to be as charitable as the Tykes tonight.
Think we should play in that kit every week.

Nice Post Fred and I for one enjoyed.

If Cooper had any sense he'd have stayed in his garden for another week and put his spade and fork away after the Millwall and Barnsley games.

Steve Cooper is a born winner, here's just a snapshot of his achievements in order of timeline.
Won the 1979 Pontypridd ugly baby of the year competion.
Won the Fifa u17 World Cup with the England team.
Represented Wales and came third in the 2018 Egremont Crab Fair Gurning World championships.
Took Swansea City to 2 successive playoff campaigns.
Hopefully he can add to this list of achievements with Forest?

Red Fred

1.) 18 Sep 2021 13:27:10
Lol Fred - brilliant! I rather fancy a world title could have been in reach for the baby from Pontypridd!

2.) 18 Sep 2021 13:45:35
Red Fred 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

3.) 18 Sep 2021 14:21:58
😂Brilliant Red Fred, you forgot the dropped pie lookalike county champion 2002. He looks like a goblin in a head lock!

15 Sep 2021 22:04:08
It shows the quality of the opposition in our last 2 games when the mighty Coventry with an ex Burton Albion centre half playing for them easilly put Boro to the sword at the weekend and beat Cardiff tonight.

Swansea were hard to score against because they had good defenders.
Ours are all crap.

Once you surrender your freedom it's almost impossible to get back.
Too many are complying and not complaining.
It's not past the point of no return but it's getting very close.
Something very sinister is going on.
More and more people are waking up but not enough yet to make a difference.

Apologies for the snowflake comment, it was underhand and uncalled for.
I strongly disagree about the figures being underestimated though. The massive number that were already hospitalised, tested positive once in hospital and subsequently put down as a cv death no matter what they died from suggests they are overestimated.
I personally know at least a dozen people that were dying from other issues and were logged as cv deaths which didn't go down too well with their families I can assure you.
Whether or not lives could have been saved in the beginning with faster action is up for debate as its difficult to prove.
Why aren't the government advocating healthy living, boosting immune systems with vitamin D and Zinc? It's just "let's jab our way out of it". Why is there no scientific debate instead of just one narrative supplied by the same set of people? Genuinly glad to hear your not in favour of lockdowns Cyclist as we can't keep doing it.
Personally I won't be attending any event or place that asks me for my medical status, even if it means never watching Forest live again. I strongly oppose it and I think a lot of people cannot see the precedent it will set and what it could end up being in the future.
Once again sorry if I offended you.
See you on the other side.

If your such a snowflake Cyclist then lock yourself in your home and let others make their own choices.
For someone as clever as you think you are to believe that figure of deaths within 28 days of a positive test is absurd.
You posted on here some time ago urging everyone to get the jab so we could get back to normal. We'll they have and where did that get us?
Remember this time last year it was "15 million jabs to freedom"? This will never end. Surely even you can see that?
