Scott twine - Midfielder - MK Dons, we’re supposedly interested in signing him. I’ve never seen him play but from the comments on Twitter he sounds like a very good player and one that would give us more creativity in midfield.

I believe we’ll still also go all out to try and bring Jed Wallace in, we have a clear interest and if reports are to be believed and Lyle Taylor is heading in the other direction then I have to say it’s great business. Would loved a second Jed at the club!

I still also think we’ll try and sort a deal out for lee Buchanan whether that’s a permenant transfer this month or we look to try and sign him on a free when his contract expires.

If we managed to bring these 3 in on-top of the 3 already signed then we will have a serious chance of promotion and would give us a solid foundation and platform for the premier league. That being said hard work from the players and the gaffer is a must if this is to become a reality. But I have faith in SC to get us promoted whether it’s this season or next!

Jed Wallace (Winger)
Lee Buchanan (LB)
Richie laryea (RB)

If we manage to get these 3 in on top on Davis, cook and Spence (loan extension) then we have a very real shot at a top 6 finish and a fight fro promotion! Exciting times!

To add to the above:

Think it’s great we’re doing business early in the window. I think it’s fairly likely we’ll see Brennan leave towards the end of the window for 15 million+. If that’s the case then it’s smart from Forest to make sure we get our dealing done before clubs up their prices because we have money.
With these new signings and the reported signings we’re looking to make come off then we’re a stronger team than we were before the transfer window even if Brennan leaves.
Good work so far by Murphy, Cooper and the scouts!

Wallace not coming to forest, he's said he wants to join a premiership club.

3.) 07 Jan 2022 12:56:48
Tell him to wait until the Summer then we will be:)

Then I woke up, still, nice to dream!

So with Burnley now being relegated should we take care of business next weekend would anybody take the likes of Cornet, Brownhill, McNeil at the club next season?
Think they’d be superb signings for any newly promoted team or bottom half prem team.

Would have been interesting if we hadn't got Steve Cooper would we have been interested in Dyche think he was treated bad maybe he would have kept them up we will never know . Think he will be in demand soon good track record.

2.) 23 May 2022 11:40:52
We don't want any of there relegation rejects and who said if we get promoted we will be a bottom half side. Before when we got promoted we finished 3rd and the time before that we won it plus 2 euro cups. 😎
Live and dream 🎈.

I said the other week that I wanted Sheffield United over two legs and I’m so glad that’s what we got. It was inevitable that it was going to be close but we’re going to Wembley in why will be another tough game.

We cannot write Huddersfield off and will have to be at 100% if we want to win the final.

Absolutely made up with the win last night, thought sheff got their tactics spot on and tried to wind us up throughout in hope of us going down to ten men but we stayed mentally strong and switched on to their tactics.

On the hero of the game, he’s a very good penalty saver!

Only thing to spoil the night was that idiot head butting billy sharp, absolutely no need for it.

I’ll finish with this….

🎵We’re going to Wembley, we’re going to Wembley🎵

Come on you reds!

I aren’t too fussed who we play in the play offs because I believe we can beat any championship team on our day and for that reason alone I would make 11 changes to the starting 11 (10 if you keep samba in goal) and make sure our best 11 is fit and firing for the 2 legs and try and get to the final!
As much as this could result in a defeat for us, I’d happily take a defeat to hull if it meant a weeks or so rest for our main 11.

We’ve done ourselves so proud tonight and throughout the FA cup this season.
We gave Liverpool a real run for their money and we probably were the better team on the night.

I was adamant that their goal was offside but the VAR angle shows it was agonisingly just onside.
The Yates penalty incident is one of them you want it when you’re the attacking team but would hate if it was given against you as the defending team, was a 50/ 50 call so not going to complain about it.

We definitely had a couple of very good chance that on another day we’d have tucked away.

Onto the next one and let’s keep our momentum going and push on in the league to get a top 6 spot.

You Reds!

According to the BBC Liverpool dominated but not from the Trent end . We defended superbly, Worrall, Fig . Jeb, Colback, Horvarth . We broke quickly and caused more trouble for their defence than vice versa! All of the side Zinc ok missed one be his still played out of his skin . Lolley was to me MofM . We had a number of free kicks but not one tested their GK. It showed we could contain Liverpool for most of the match and my opinion made them look ordinary. There is no team in the Championship that we can’t beat.

2.) 20 Mar 2022 21:50:57
Trent end, what frustrates me is if the tv camera angle for the offside is wrong why bother even showing it to the nation. It’s miles offside on the tv footage, not even debatable. Then they put a VAR image up that’s totally different. Why? Just pisses everyone off. One angle for tv and a completely different angle for VAR, bonkers.

3.) 20 Mar 2022 22:18:14
It's because our badge doesn't fit the semi final perks, VAR more bent than putin.

4.) 20 Mar 2022 23:13:45
VAR only for Premier League grounds but appears for the quarters? 🤔.

5.) 21 Mar 2022 07:08:52
I agree on the TV highlights it’s offside.

How we’ve not won that game I’ll never know!

Samba - was poor for their goal but apart from that didn’t do anything else wrong or really have much to do.

Spence - another solid display and shows that he’s pivotal to the way we play.

Worrall - he’s a solid championship defender but has his moments where his concentration dips.

McKenna - by far our best CB, he goes about his work quietly and effectively.

Colback - should be playing in midfield but he’s doing a solid job filling in at LB

Garner - Has had a solid game created some chances and helped control the game for larger periods. Alongside Worrall his concentration especially for their goal is questionable but apart from that solid.

Ojeda - thought he was very good in the first half, he’s tidy on the ball and has a nice bit of aggression about him. Second half lost his way.

Silva - has to get a run of games and we’ll see his effectiveness more and more. Not surprised he was brought off due to lack of football but he was our best player today. Bright on the ball and had some very good chances to score. With a run of games to get fit and gain more confidence he could well end up being a top signing.

Zinckernagel - mixed game from him had moments where he was very bright, created a lot and could’ve grabbed a goal or two but just seems to go missing at times. Would maybe try him on the wing with solve in behind the striker.

Johnson - I honestly do not see the hype around him, if he was playing for any other championship club I don’t think many Forest fans would be giving him the praise he’s currently getting. His end product is lacking. That being said he does have moments of quality but he just goes missing too often and doesn’t seem to put 100% in all of the time. I’d take the money and reinvest.

Grabban - another mixed game, showed moments of real quality and experience but didn’t do a great deal. In fairness to him, he never really had a real chance and that is somewhat testament to Huddersfield’s defence.

Overall it was an entertaining game to watch but one that should have ended with us getting the three points. Either way we go again in the new year!

COYR!

Fingers crossed we get Lowe back fit and firing. Him and Spence as the wing backs and that is a very good back 5!

Can’t be any worse than Lyle Taylor.
In fairness from the very little I’ve seen of him. He could be a good option from the bench at to start a game here and there. Hopefully SC can get a tune out of him, if he can he’ll be a real handful.

I’d take 20 million for Brennan. He’s a solid youngster but I’ve been to 3 games this season and watched a few on TV and apart from a few moments here and there he doesn’t look anything special. Anything over 15 million bite the buyers hands off.

He’s absolutely useless. I think he was the referee for the Villa Liverpool we bd he had n absolute shocker. Missed multiple fouls on villa players.
He can’t keep up with the game at all so thank goodness for VAR in the final!

I honestly am happy we’re playing Sheffield United over 2 legs because that gives us the best chance to beat them in my opinion.
I think we’d struggle Vs them in the final in a one off game, so playing them over 2 games is ideal for us and the way we play.

Should we get to the final, I don’t mind who we’d end up playing.

Either way, what a season we’ve had. We shouldn’t even be in the play offs after the start we had. So Steve cooper, the coaching staff, the players all need a massive big pat on the back!

We are Nottingham Forest! COYR.

Give over.

I’ve not been Brennan’s biggest fan over the course of the season for some of the points raised above. But without him we would not be in the top 6 simple as that.

We can’t moan about the VAR decisions.

If it’s offside it’s offside if it’s inside it’s onside, while angles are deceiving but if the VAR lines say it’s off then it’s off. I do think that a change in the ruling should be made, I’ve always thought it should be from positioning of players feet.

As for the penalty incident it’s not a penalty we’d be fuming if there was a chance Liverpool could’ve had a penalty from that sort of scenario.

It is what it is. We were the better team had the far superior fans and on another night we’d have taken a couple of our chances and win the match.

Let’s all just focus on the league and helping give the players and coaching staff an extra boost from the stands to get a top 6 spot.

You reds!
