Full back from RB Leipzig?

RedHotRed

1.) 28 Aug 2025 22:00:16
Good dinner you had then?

2.) 28 Aug 2025 22:06:37
Savona looks a done deal for RB. It's possible we might sign Geertruida from Leipzig as well, who also looks good. See post below.

29 Jun 2025 13:36:19
Pablo Maffeo? Argentinian right back from Mallorca. £5M? Done deal or more media BS?

RedHotRed

1.) 29 Jun 2025 14:45:41
He seems keen to come to Forest, but I wouldn't discount Omar Richards, he had a decent season at Rio Avenue, he deserves a proper assessment back at the City Ground.

2.) 29 Jun 2025 17:44:29
Reinildo going to Sunderland. But yes Maffoe a RB not a LB. So after Truffert going to Bournemouth we should be looking around again. Both Moreno and Toffalo were left footed left backs.

3.) 29 Jun 2025 22:33:48
Pablo Maffeo was a city youth player i think, supposedly a very athlete.

4.) 30 Jun 2025 09:59:05
Offer far too low it seems. Where have we heard that before.

26 Jun 2025 21:33:24
Talk of £55M for Tyler Dibling, a 19 year old still learning the game - absolutely ridiculous! What is the Premier League transfer market coming to? Totally out of touch with reality. Any footballing businessman, Chairman or CEO who pays that for him wants sectioning under the mental health act! Also if Anthony Elanga is sold I'm getting my money back for my season ticket.

RedHotRed

1.) 27 Jun 2025 22:35:49
Yeah Southampton can keep him for that money, can't see anyone paying that sort of money for literally potential, he had ago at the prem last season and frankly i can't remember him doing much.

2.) 27 Jun 2025 23:34:10
Beware or journalist hype. Everything has been told except the truth.

05 Dec 2023 23:22:51
He's had words with Cooper. Shouldn't really say on here but he said something to him. Yet another disagreement - as Club Captain he should be given some leeway?

RedHotRed

1.) 06 Dec 2023 22:19:19
Depends what was said surely? If it was a childish rant then no, if it was constructive criticism then yes.

18 Jan 2023 23:19:22
I first put the news up about Chris Wood about a week or so ago at the beginning of a post. I got the information from some old contacts inside the game. I've heard he's on £80K per week at Newcastle and we've offered to pay him £120K per week! He's alright but that's ridiculous money taking into account that he's 31 and his best form was about 2/ 3 seasons ago. Surely we must off-load Jessie Lingard to balance the books?

RedHotRed

1.) 19 Jan 2023 10:46:20
Not keen on signing him permanently but a loan deal would be ok til the end of the season, we need a No9 if Awoniyi is going to be out.

Not concerned by much else about the deal, I trust the club to do what they think is best financially.

2.) 19 Jan 2023 11:02:46
I agree, would be a good loan till the end of the season but not on a permanent I don't think.

3.) 19 Jan 2023 14:26:27
Wood is a proven premier league striker. He’s robust good in the air gets stuck in and is renowned for his hold up play. He can do the dirty stuff has good positional awareness. One one of his stats from last season, of the 15 matches he started Newcastle amassed 29 points. Loan to buy is a no brainier and at 31 has plenty of life, remember we sold chapman to Leeds when we thought he was done at 30ish. His record at Leeds was incredible and I would say similar types of players.

4.) 19 Jan 2023 14:58:05
Yeah fair enough, RR8. He is the type of player that should run well in his thirties, it's not like he's going to lose much pace lol

Nowhere near the finisher Chapman was though, tbf!

5.) 19 Jan 2023 22:37:17
I've said my opinion on wood, but also the position we are in injury wise, probably a sound decision short term.
Centre back now a priority as one more injury in that department and we are screwed.
I'd expect a centre back to arrive on loan from abroad now.
Only four loans aloud two from the prem already done and lodi so I doubt we will buy another center back.
I expect us to sign a permanent striker though as well as wood on loan.

Some good football in the first half and a commendable performance from 10 men in the second half however a very disappointing afternoon against a team we have to get a win. Aina and MGW excellent followed by Murrillo, Anderson and Sangare. The problem is Jesus. If he had not fluffed 3 or 4 golden opportunities, handed to him on a plate we would have won. I'm not criticising his effort he is simply not good enough at this level of football. Our goal difference is -11 and could cost us a place because he is not scoring enough goals.

I don't know if he has relatives or disciples on here but don't understand the turning a blind eye to his limitations. He spends too much time on the floor and can't shoot from distance. All of his goals have been League 1/ 2 close range efforts. If he's not replaced we run the risk of him dragging us into the Championship. Don't understand the loyalty? Chris Wood is up to it but unfortunately injured and at the wrong end of his career.

I will have to watch the game again because I cannot remember the amount of chances you have mentioned.

Dyche is now starting to play to Igor strengths and it will pay dividends in the long run if and it’s a big if he sticks to it.

The loyalty is I see the potential, Chris Wood has had one great season with us and i'm thankful for it, however it’s the one and only great season he has had goal wise ever

Just my thoughts RHR but as always in Jesus I trust.

2.) 01 Feb 2026 19:31:29
Sorry but Jesus is a talent and plays his heart out. As for Murillo it was his mistake on the half way line that led directly to their goal. Disappointing yes but don’t denigrate the great effort and spirit the lads put in. We got a vital point and move on.

3.) 01 Feb 2026 19:41:31
I don't remember the 3 or 4 fluffed chances by Jesus you mention.

4.) 01 Feb 2026 19:42:15
Wood didn't start very well when he joined us.
Just hoping he starts scoring. and very soon!

5.) 01 Feb 2026 19:46:14
I agree bsered, he plays his heart out but he doesn't score goals which will win us games and reduce the goal difference.

6.) 01 Feb 2026 21:57:38
Well that's eleven I've somehow missed?

7.) 01 Feb 2026 22:29:07
I ready worry about some of you, especially the crew that keep saying roff to themselves ???.

8.) 01 Feb 2026 23:09:05

2.) 01 Feb 2026 15:20:51
Dyche out edu out.

3.) 01 Feb 2026 16:26:09
Sleggs and head boy winter showing their true colours again
Pathetic comments as usual.

4.) 01 Feb 2026 16:51:06
Skegsjay, really pathetic comments again
Rhr slating Jesus for missing a goal but no mention of gibbs whites poor ball in and no mention of Sels diving out of the way of the penalty.

5.) 01 Feb 2026 18:04:38
Neighbourhood watch supervisor is here. Get over yourself DTP, you are about as boring as watching paint dry and that's insulting to paint. ?.

01 Feb 2026 14:48:53
Jesus's 3 glaring misses of golden opportunities could now cost us this match. If we had a decent goal scorer we wouldn't be in this position.

Ola Aina's return from injury has made the difference to this team. Top class player. We need to look after him.

RedHotRed

1.) 01 Feb 2026 14:49:37
Morato on.
Horrible decision.

2.) 01 Feb 2026 14:58:28
I'd be happy with the draw now.

Not McAtee surely. Why don't our recruitment team speak to some City fans. Lightweight who can't beat players and not particularly fast. Can't believe how desperate we've become. Traoré, Hutchinson, anyone much better. Sucked in by the Man City philosophy.

From the footage I've seen of Dan Ndoye he looks absolutely magnificent, unbelievably good on the ball and a clever finisher. Can't believe we've signed him. Fantastic player.

Get him. A physical handful with pace - just what is required in the Premier League. Fantastic news if you can believe it?

McAtee absolutely useless having watched all of the U21 performances. Also my mate who's a Man City season ticket holder - goes home and away every week says he's Championship class and money for him welcome! If this is true relegation battle coming.

He is vital to everything we have achieved last season and our style of play next season. He cannot be sold. Insanity to even contemplate it! Supporters protest if any further rumours please.

100% in agreement Stevie f, I've been saying it for weeks. His goals are coming against lower standard opposition.

I think going back I agreed with you about some of the difficulties keepers have but might have been a misunderstanding that I played keeper all the time. I know you were a good keeper. Some of the football authorities on here never played a game in their adult lives but telling people they don't know anything about football.

I've been in a few wars on football pitches and understand how hard it can be.

I wasn't actually Bowie. Played midfield for England Schools U19 and various semi pro right or left side of midfield. Used to shoot a bit! Last game at 55. Took a lot of paracetamol after it!

One good performance from Awoniyi Rogie? He kept us in the Premier League 2 seasons ago almost single handedly - have you forgotten? McAtee has done nothing for this club yet apart from extract £30M from it + massive wages.
