Full back from RB Leipzig?
1.) 28 Aug 2025 22:00:16
Good dinner you had then?
2.) 28 Aug 2025 22:06:37
Savona looks a done deal for RB. It's possible we might sign Geertruida from Leipzig as well, who also looks good. See post below.
29 Jun 2025 13:36:19
Pablo Maffeo? Argentinian right back from Mallorca. £5M? Done deal or more media BS?
1.) 29 Jun 2025 14:45:41
He seems keen to come to Forest, but I wouldn't discount Omar Richards, he had a decent season at Rio Avenue, he deserves a proper assessment back at the City Ground.
2.) 29 Jun 2025 17:44:29
Reinildo going to Sunderland. But yes Maffoe a RB not a LB. So after Truffert going to Bournemouth we should be looking around again. Both Moreno and Toffalo were left footed left backs.
3.) 29 Jun 2025 22:33:48
Pablo Maffeo was a city youth player i think, supposedly a very athlete.
4.) 30 Jun 2025 09:59:05
Offer far too low it seems. Where have we heard that before.
26 Jun 2025 21:33:24
Talk of £55M for Tyler Dibling, a 19 year old still learning the game - absolutely ridiculous! What is the Premier League transfer market coming to? Totally out of touch with reality. Any footballing businessman, Chairman or CEO who pays that for him wants sectioning under the mental health act! Also if Anthony Elanga is sold I'm getting my money back for my season ticket.
1.) 27 Jun 2025 22:35:49
Yeah Southampton can keep him for that money, can't see anyone paying that sort of money for literally potential, he had ago at the prem last season and frankly i can't remember him doing much.
2.) 27 Jun 2025 23:34:10
Beware or journalist hype. Everything has been told except the truth.
05 Dec 2023 23:22:51
He's had words with Cooper. Shouldn't really say on here but he said something to him. Yet another disagreement - as Club Captain he should be given some leeway?
1.) 06 Dec 2023 22:19:19
Depends what was said surely? If it was a childish rant then no, if it was constructive criticism then yes.
18 Jan 2023 23:19:22
I first put the news up about Chris Wood about a week or so ago at the beginning of a post. I got the information from some old contacts inside the game. I've heard he's on £80K per week at Newcastle and we've offered to pay him £120K per week! He's alright but that's ridiculous money taking into account that he's 31 and his best form was about 2/ 3 seasons ago. Surely we must off-load Jessie Lingard to balance the books?
1.) 19 Jan 2023 10:46:20
Not keen on signing him permanently but a loan deal would be ok til the end of the season, we need a No9 if Awoniyi is going to be out.
Not concerned by much else about the deal, I trust the club to do what they think is best financially.
2.) 19 Jan 2023 11:02:46
I agree, would be a good loan till the end of the season but not on a permanent I don't think.
3.) 19 Jan 2023 14:26:27
Wood is a proven premier league striker. He’s robust good in the air gets stuck in and is renowned for his hold up play. He can do the dirty stuff has good positional awareness. One one of his stats from last season, of the 15 matches he started Newcastle amassed 29 points. Loan to buy is a no brainier and at 31 has plenty of life, remember we sold chapman to Leeds when we thought he was done at 30ish. His record at Leeds was incredible and I would say similar types of players.
4.) 19 Jan 2023 14:58:05
Yeah fair enough, RR8. He is the type of player that should run well in his thirties, it's not like he's going to lose much pace lol
Nowhere near the finisher Chapman was though, tbf!
5.) 19 Jan 2023 22:37:17
I've said my opinion on wood, but also the position we are in injury wise, probably a sound decision short term.
Centre back now a priority as one more injury in that department and we are screwed.
I'd expect a centre back to arrive on loan from abroad now.
Only four loans aloud two from the prem already done and lodi so I doubt we will buy another center back.
I expect us to sign a permanent striker though as well as wood on loan.

Another two (half) pre-season games and no goals scored. We need a goalscorer urgently who is full of confidence and physically up to the Premier League. Gibbs-White looks the most likely to score and as everyone knows his goals bailed is out of trouble at the end of last season but it a striker's job to get goals.
I have to say the Ndoye tackle in the box was the most stone wall penalty I have ever seen - what was the ref thinking? Ndoye looked a bit sharper and hopefully will be better after having a laugh all last season.
1.) 09 Aug 2026 10:01:06
I'm not one bit worried about this season rhr.
2.) 09 Aug 2026 10:28:56
You should be, Skeggs. I think, deep down, you are, and only you're letting your support for Glasner blur your thinking, mate.
I see nothing to suggest we'll beat them.
I think Leeds will be right up for this. Our front line is poor.
I rarely agree with you, Rhr. However, in my humble opinion, you are absolutely bang on the money.
3.) 09 Aug 2026 10:33:54
Well, your all entitled to your opinions, Rogie. And trust me, im not one bit worried, top ten easy. Diomande on his way, like i said. And a few more good signings on way, but if not im still not worried. Let the season begin. ?
4.) 09 Aug 2026 10:49:26
Cheers, Rogie. Not being negative, just realistic based on what I've seen. I don't want a Premier League season like the last one, where we have to rely on Morgan Gibbs-White's brilliance. He could get injured?
5.) 09 Aug 2026 11:07:30
We are crying out for a really good CF.
Surely the management can see this???
6.) 09 Aug 2026 11:14:31
I get what you're saying, Skeggs, however, it's taken far too long as usual.
7.) 09 Aug 2026 11:39:42
Not for the right players, it's not Rogie. Glasner as his man, when he's had his medical later, he's been after him since his Palace days. Glasner has the back looking solid. A few more additions in midfield and a striker, as it looks like Kali is on his way out.
And strikers don't come easy, so it's a matter of waiting on fee and wages. And a backup for Sels. And I am living the Mr M Glasner dream. ?
8.) 09 Aug 2026 11:48:17
Wakey!!! Wakey!!!
Skeggs!!!
9.) 09 Aug 2026 11:54:31
Name a better back 3 in the Premier League, Rogie, in fact any of you. Murrilo, Milencavic, Diomande. Any top Champions League team would be happy. Anyway, Rogie, as I said to you not long ago when you was all slating Mr M for Diomande not apparently signing and panicking. I told you so. We love Mr M.
10.) 09 Aug 2026 12:45:29
Don't let your mate see that regarding Murrillo!!!
???
It certainly isn't them I'm worried about.
It's up top; we are struggling, goalscoring has been our Achilles Heel since we went up.
I'm expecting Hutchinson, CHO, and Ndoye to do much better under Glasner, in fact all of them.
11.) 09 Aug 2026 13:02:48
I'm with Skegs on this one, far too early to be pressing the panic button, gents. Sels, Dio, Serbinater, Murillo, with Aina and Williams on the flanks. Name a better, more solid defensive unit in the last 20 years at our club. I'm still also backing Taiwo to be back this season. ?
12.) 09 Aug 2026 13:27:57
Where has DTP disappeared to? I know we both get on each other's wick most of the time, but sometimes, and I say only sometimes, he does talk sense, especially with regard to our club.
13.) 09 Aug 2026 14:33:44
Teams I think that will be in relegation battle: Newcastle, Fulham, Ipswich, Hull, Leeds, Sunderland, Palace, Coventry. We have nothing to fear about one this season. Top ten finish, and hopefully a trophy as a Brucie bonus. ?
14.) 09 Aug 2026 14:43:42
Let's hope we play a "Good Game!!! Good Game!!!".
????
15.) 09 Aug 2026 13:43:11
Hes watering his pansies. ? hes like Arnie, he will be back.
16.) 09 Aug 2026 15:24:26
Skegs, ? with a daisy tucked behind his ear. ?
17.) 10 Aug 2026 06:50:12
Let's hope at the end of the Season we'll be shouting "Didn't he do well!!".
???
08 Aug 2026 19:54:14
Absolutely shocking against Udinese. Only player who looked up to the standard required was Schlager. Yates looked physically up to it in terms of winning the ball but this is well short of where we need to be. Abbott and Kalimuendo a joke. We need to get some quality players signed quickly with a fast, powerful goalscorer top of the list. Very concerned.
1.) 08 Aug 2026 20:09:03
Agreed rhr son. ?
2.) 08 Aug 2026 20:25:27
That was mainly the B team.
Saved our best 3 centre backs, plus Sels, Sangare, MGW, Williams, Aina etc for Barcelona half.
Schlager and Netz were the only two stand outs against Udinese.
Victor's a joker.
3.) 08 Aug 2026 21:55:59
It was the second string, expect a strong side vs Barca. ?
4.) 08 Aug 2026 22:06:17
Played well.
MGW hit the post. Should have had a penalty. Then, a few minutes later, they got a soft one.
Optimistic, especially if rumours are right about Diomande having a medical Monday.
01 Aug 2026 18:30:19
On the Nottingham Live match report it says Sarah Clapson is an experienced sports reporter. Her ratings for Zak Abbott, McAtee and Jesus of 5/10, 8/10, 8/10 reflects that she doesn't know what she is talking about. These journalists could end up getting our club relegated with their talking players up in pre-season matches. My ratings based on what I saw: Abbott 0/10, McAtee 3/10, Jesus 4/10.
With Jesus demonstrating, as he did last season, when he gets the ball he can't run nor beat players. Very happy about the Schlager signing - he looks a skilful, mobile, hard working player like Gibbs-White but we need more better players and to get rid of the one's that nearly got us relegated last season.
1.) 01 Aug 2026 19:15:56
It's gonna be a long season, RHR. We ain't even kicked off yet, and you're that down, they have taken your shoelaces & tie off you already.
2.) 01 Aug 2026 19:19:22
Abbott looked like someone they'd found outside the ground, asked if they fancied a game cus they were one short.
3.) 01 Aug 2026 19:26:09
We're doomed, I tell yer, we're doomed.
Experiment to see every player in preseason, two in one day.
Chill.
4.) 01 Aug 2026 19:27:45
We need new blood. Maybe a couple of players, just enough to lift what we have. It's all well and good being about value for money and sell-on value, but if Mrm wants European football next season, then we have to bring in the best of what's available. Otherwise it's going to be the same old story: "Well, we only lost by one nil, better luck next time." One nil or four nil doesn't matter.
We have to have a squad that can beat the best, or don't bother. Build your fantasy stadium, but see what good it does you in the Championship.
5.) 01 Aug 2026 19:41:18
???? Living the Glasner Jesus Mr M dream uredddssss uredddssss.
6.) 01 Aug 2026 19:59:50
Red hot Red, mate, don't take this the wrong way, but you could put a damner on a funeral.
7.) 01 Aug 2026 20:21:05
Shoe laces and tie ?, Balloons. ? ?
8.) 02 Aug 2026 08:17:22
Stop slagging off Jesus. He's a part of the Holy Trinity. Clough, Taylor, and Jesus. He will keep improving even if he isn't first choice. I think he will be playing as one of two No 10s, not as a number 9.
31 Jul 2026 21:39:24
Sporting 4 - Forest 1 and it's not over yet. Very worrying. I've been saying it and so have others. How does Zak Abbott get anywhere near the first 11? Another close range tap in from Igor Jesus that any League 1 striker would have put away. No shots from McAtee and no creativity from him. Seen it all last season. If Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, Hutchinson and Murrillo aren't on fire this season, we're in big trouble.
Pleased that Glasner has seen this before the season starts. We need a big, fast dangerous striker quickly.
So he can fit in with the team. We also need to sign Anthony Elanga back before anyone else gets him - fantastic player. Rubbish.
1.) 01 Aug 2026 06:53:41
Really looking forward to this season, rhr, and your game commentary of course. Which a lot of posters don't like. But it makes me smile, pal. A couple of decent signings and I think we will have a great season. But, as I said, I will be happy if we hold onto most of our best players, finish in the top ten, and build around them, and keep a decent manager for more than one season.
I mean, it could have been a lot worse. We could still have Dyche in charge, be in the Championship, and have him still at the helm. So, lots to look forward to. ?
2.) 01 Aug 2026 08:16:00
Zach Abbot is nowhere near a first team player.
We need better back up players in every department.
Come on, Ollie, get cracking!!!!!
3.) 01 Aug 2026 09:05:41
Who thought playing 2 games on the same day was a good idea? Especially with such a big game last night, against the Portuguese champions! I know the team that played in the morning didn't feature last night, but it meant we had no options on the bench to change things!
If I had the money, I'd be putting an offer in for the brilliant central midfielder who scored.
Quality. Forget Bergval!
4.) 01 Aug 2026 09:06:04
Double I think!
5.) 01 Aug 2026 09:08:34
I wouldn't worry too much about last night. I believe Sporting's season proper starts next weekend, so they're a few weeks ahead of us fitness wise. Plus, we played the same 11 the whole match and ran out of steam as the match went on. With the intensive training we looked knackered, especially with the game in the morning.
I'm more concerned that OG's remarks about players complaining about the training regime (after all, they do have form for it) were meant lightheartedly and last night wasn't a punishment selection.
In our current manager we trust.
Perhaps OG is sending a message to Mr M that he needs incomings urgently?
6.) 01 Aug 2026 09:16:23
Glaser said himself the other day in an interview. The club will only buy players that will strengthen the team, and only at the right price in this crazy market of prices this window. It really is that simple.
We have a good team, top 10. We're not going to break ffp by going out and spending silly money for the sake of it. So moan as much as you want. If Glaser's happy with that, that will do me.
7.) 01 Aug 2026 09:25:07
"We have a good team?"
Am I hearing right, Skeggs?
Same guy who lambasted them for most of last season, along with your mate.
Then again, we have the right manager this time, haven't we?
Let's hope we do, as I said before, I'm expecting a far better this time round... think we All deserve it.
Over to you, Ollie.
8.) 01 Aug 2026 09:25:44
A top 10 team? Really, Skeg, too much Stella, I'd say, to come out with that comment. We do need to strengthen the team with at least 4 additional players.
Marinakis can open the purse strings to strengthen his first love, but low-ball prices for potential transfers.
Diamonde was supposed to be a definite incoming player, yet still no sign of him.
Read has gone quiet!
As Stokey states, and rightly so, we need players ASAP, otherwise I can see us struggling if none are purchased.
Also, who is Glaser?
9.) 01 Aug 2026 09:36:42
Missed you, Rhr! Welcome back to the mad house.
It's hot in Alicante. Hope the new players are this hot.
COYR!
10.) 01 Aug 2026 09:45:43
Lambasted the managers and some of the team, as did a lot of other posters, my dear Rogie, facts please. ? And your dam right, we have the right manager. A lot of clubs in the Premier League would be grateful for so, cheery up pal. As I said, it could be a lot lot worse, we could still have Dycheball in charge. Chill. ?
11.) 01 Aug 2026 10:14:32
Imagine Skegs, a whole season of Cretaceous Ball in front of us. ? ?
12.) 01 Aug 2026 10:16:34
Ripley, that's your opinion, not mine. And, as for Stokie's comments, I don't see them. All I see under Stokie is text hidden. It's great for the eyes and the shortest comments I've ever seen from him. ? Anybody who doesn't like my comments, try it. It really does put a smile back on your face. Anyway, we love Glasner and Mr M.
13.) 01 Aug 2026 10:49:00
Ripley, good post, mate. I'm not sure whether it's Dyche or me, or both of us, living rent free in a certain poster's head. Thank goodness he won't see this in case it sets him off again. ??????
14.) 01 Aug 2026 10:39:45
Ripley, I didn’t realise we’d got the actor who played Starsky in charge either……
I remember Roy Keen in charge at Sunderland playing a pre season friendly at Forest many years ago, when he took off a player at the start of the second half, didn’t replace him and played with 10. There were reports that several players had complained about his fitness regime and this was his reply to show them who was boss and increase their workload by ten per cent.
Plus a calculated insult to Forest. I think they held on to a one nil half time lead fairly comfortably.
I’m sure that’s not what OG was doing. After all I don’t know of any dictatorial Austrians, do you? ……??????
15.) 01 Aug 2026 11:26:01
Stokey, that's brilliant.
I would not characterise Arnold Schwarzenegger as dictatorial in any way.
As my old pal's dad used to say, car keys and clutch.
I am in complete agreement with the idea of residing in Skeggs Head, as the vastness of the void bears a resemblance to the Grand Canyon.
On a serious note, we do need players asap.
16.) 01 Aug 2026 11:31:34
Heard Dyche has landed his dream job, Head of the National Farmers Union. Agriculture reforms incoming. ?
17.) 01 Aug 2026 11:22:00
Don't need to produce any facts Skeggs, you and your other half know it chum.
So what do you expect from Glasner then???
I'm all "Lineker's" (Ears).
???
18.) 01 Aug 2026 12:21:41
I expect a top 10 finish, Rogie. Not really rocket science, is it, pal. Well, unless. ???
19.) 01 Aug 2026 13:12:57
RRH, that's an interesting appointment for SD, mate.
When he was appointed, it caused many people to "furrow" their brows, as they didn't like his "stile". I personally thought that was a load of "bull", and that some on here "milked" it a bit.
As far as I'm concerned, they can pull the "udder" one.
Who knows, with a "crop" of new players and another team, SD could make us all look "sheepish". He could go on to "GOAT". Well, things to do, mate, must "plough" on.
20.) 01 Aug 2026 12:36:43
Ripley, those brilliant Terminator films were an absolute gift for Arnie with his robotic acting style mate. Personally, I can’t think of a better example of casting can you? Superb!?
21.) 01 Aug 2026 13:53:54
That it then, Skeggs???
No trophies???
22.) 01 Aug 2026 14:09:07
A question for anyone who thinks we don't have a decent squad. Who don't we have from the team that qualified for Europe? And we have some new players going into a second year who should get better. We've added Schlager and will be adding a good CB and RWB, probably another MF.
We should do well. No European games to distract.
23.) 01 Aug 2026 14:20:06
Just for you, Stokey.
I'll be back. ??
To be fair I prefer Predator.
If it bleeds, we can kill it. ?
24.) 01 Aug 2026 14:35:50
I agree, Red Cyclist... However, a proven striker is a priority for me.
25.) 01 Aug 2026 14:50:28
Hardest thing to find in football, Rogie.
Try naming one other that's available?
I can't, mate, and Arsenal still can't find one.
Like I've said, Jesus will score the goals this season after having a break from football.
26 Jul 2026 13:43:30
Anyone know how to get the Vitoria friendly game on TV? The score is 0 - 0 at the moment, I believe. I can get the Ajax v Burnley game (1 - 0) but no luck on Forest TV or any other Channel at the moment. Was looking forward to it!
1.) 26 Jul 2026 17:09:53
Red, it's not available anywhere, mate. It wasn't even part of the Forest TV pre season bundle...
They might show highlights in due course...
11 Aug 2025 21:16:33
Not McAtee surely. Why don't our recruitment team speak to some City fans. Lightweight who can't beat players and not particularly fast. Can't believe how desperate we've become. Traoré, Hutchinson, anyone much better. Sucked in by the Man City philosophy.
28 Jul 2025 23:45:12
From the footage I've seen of Dan Ndoye he looks absolutely magnificent, unbelievably good on the ball and a clever finisher. Can't believe we've signed him. Fantastic player.
25 Jul 2025 21:33:47
Get him. A physical handful with pace - just what is required in the Premier League. Fantastic news if you can believe it?
10 Jul 2025 09:19:38
McAtee absolutely useless having watched all of the U21 performances. Also my mate who's a Man City season ticket holder - goes home and away every week says he's Championship class and money for him welcome! If this is true relegation battle coming.
07 Jun 2025 01:13:02
He is vital to everything we have achieved last season and our style of play next season. He cannot be sold. Insanity to even contemplate it! Supporters protest if any further rumours please.
09 Aug 2026 10:49:26
Cheers, Rogie. Not being negative, just realistic based on what I've seen. I don't want a Premier League season like the last one, where we have to rely on Morgan Gibbs-White's brilliance. He could get injured?
24 May 2026 20:04:43
You know nothing about actually playing football DTP, you've never played in a competitive game of football in an 11 a side match in your adult life, have you? Correct me if I'm mistaken please oh omniscient one.
24 May 2026 18:06:09
100% Rogie. He can't score, run or dribble. We are not a Brazilian charity.
17 May 2026 18:12:52
It's the worst I've ever seen in football RedFrog.
10 May 2026 15:57:52
What's your point, Rrh? I've been supporting Forest a lot longer than you, mate. You seem to want to fall out with everyone on here at the moment. Don't get it, fella? Strange post.
