As I said 24hrs ago. The BBC Web had the City game blasted out this morning as headline! Compare that to the minimal coverage of the Forest victory. Snooker not priority now, eh?

I've never been a defeatist Piran - quite the opposite in my daily life! However, I'd be amazed if we get a result on Sunday. Obviously, it's great news for us that they may be missing 4-5 key players on the day. I think a win is do-able, but highly unlikely. Anything can happen in a Cup game though I suppose.
I hope that I'll be eating humble-pie after the game!

What is the thinking about media comments on the Prem being boring and we want the season to finish, as its apparently rubbish, etc: (Neville, with Sutton countering. ) If it finished today, I'd buy it!

Norfolk prem boring was coming from Manu, Manc and possibly spurs loyal pundits, if i was watching any of them I'd definitely be bored?.
As for what i think, yes titles done, yes relegation is done, but the middle of the prem is the most competitive its been in years, teams like us, Bournemouth, Fulham and Palace ripping it up and playing a different style from the usual tippy tappy crap. I know i have a dog in the fight so to say but i'm loving it, anyone can beat anyone on any given day, long may it continue ??.

Watched MOTD2 from the Spurs/ Fulham match. There were two portly gents punditing, (I think). One of them, an ex Man Utd player agreed with the ref about a possible penalty call.
Said - not enough contact, etc. Strange: Can remember vividly the pundidt falling over in the box at Old Trafford like a wounded hero at the slightest contact to earn a spot kick during the Fergie chewing times! Blimey! More Pots and Kettles than Dunelm!

Norfolk mate I have mixed feelings with MGW and Anderson’s omission. On the plus side they won’t get injured in a qualifer against Albania ( ranked 66th) and Latvia ( ranked 140). So a pointless match against lower Championship ( at best) opposition.
On the minus side I hope it doesn't demotivate them. We will find out tomorrow afternoon.
As for the squad, Walker and Henderson, both 34? Hardly building for the future is it?
Rashford this season regularly outshone by CHO.

Any update on ground capacity? We seem to max out at 29.700. Whispers last season of standing area. The camera shot towards the Trent End still looks like a West Indian test match ground with lots of space seemingly unused?. Might Mr M be frustrated by this attendance number?

Dilemma about how we seep into the CL, Mossy: Really can't see it. Tonight's game obviously has a bearing. But Villa losing and us winning has to be it, so Villa and Chelsea missing out? Is it that simple? Have I missed something?
