Excellent pro and always gave his all. For someone with very little pace, he did very well at left back. One of those combative nuggets in midfield, a very talented hod carrier that every team needs.
As good as McGovern in my opinion.

Another great night at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham, spoilt by a contentious VAR call. The ref had a choice though; stick with the yellow he had given or upgrade to red. He took the easy option.
IMO, it was a yellow despite the multiple rollovers by Gaspatiou!
The FA Cup gives these great match ups; long may it continue despite the 2nd and 3rd string being played!

He was fired up and mistimed it. He touched him just below the knee, with studs showing, so it could have gone either way. I think an ex-player would have given a yellow. That's why they should be on the VAR panel.

Yes, Stevie, constant camera shots of the owner and his fit Mrs don't change the fact it was an awful challenge, with intent, that deserved the punishment the officials gave. Very good officiating to step in, as at first off it looked a booking. A couple of extra angles showed it to be a clear red for me.

On the alleged none penalty for Haarland, you have to credit the ref, because Erling was very clever. He has managed to deceive the so called pundits into thinking it's a foul, when really Haarland makes a deliberate movement of the right leg into the diving Sels! Well done ref and well done VAR, did I really say that!

Taiwo has to start against Man City, but we must put someone big against Haaland if he plays. MGW has been playing higher up the pitch, but yes, up close to Taiwo and play as a two.
I also think we need to stop playing out from the back, it looked awful against Brighton.
