Speculation that Bong could be on his way out. He's been posting pictures from Montreal on social media.

Must be old pictures as he was on the bench today.

Richie Laryea from Toronto FC being linked. Canadian international. Plays RB but can play LB too. Murphy definitely looking to use his links across the Atlantic. Just got to trust he knows he'd but up to the Championship.

Steve Cook is having a medical in the next 48 hours and will be signing permanently. Worrall, Cook, McKenna. Now there's a back 3.

GazzaRed

1.) 03 Jan 2022 10:23:46
Fingers crossed we get Lowe back fit and firing. Him and Spence as the wing backs and that is a very good back 5!

2.) 03 Jan 2022 16:32:00
Sadly Cook might be Worrall s replacement ☹️Hope not.

3.) 04 Jan 2022 17:34:17
Buried in the Cook news article on NFFC website is that Arter is back. Interesting to see what Cooperman does there.

26 Dec 2021 09:56:24
Looks like we're going back in for Buchannan from Derby in Jan with a 1.5m bid. I can't see how they can reject that kind of money. Arsenal also said to be joining the clubs wanting Johnson in Jan. Again, I can't see how we'll be able to keep him, his head will be turned.

1.) 26 Dec 2021 10:36:25
Let him go to Arsenal in exchange for eddie nketiah, who wants first team football, promotion nailed on😀.

2.) 26 Dec 2021 11:19:41
His Dad has stated categorically on Twitter that he is NOT FOR SALE.

3.) 26 Dec 2021 11:32:54
Given our ongoing issues at left back/ wingback 1.5 for Buchanan would be good business. Pains me to say it as i can’t stand the bloke but Lawrence would also be a quality signing. STM I saw the Jono comment and loved it but I reckon if a premier league club comes knocking with 20 million on the table Forest will accept.

4.) 26 Dec 2021 16:20:39
I’d take 20 million for Brennan. He’s a solid youngster but I’ve been to 3 games this season and watched a few on TV and apart from a few moments here and there he doesn’t look anything special. Anything over 15 million bite the buyers hands off.

5.) 27 Dec 2021 18:41:32
Doesn't matter Stan. If Arsenal come knocking with 20m, he's gone.

23 Dec 2021 22:57:22
Mighten out for months. No way we can sell Johnson now.

Two mentions from yesterday's game. Samba, the best GK in the league saves us from going 2 goals down in the first half AGAIN. I've seen some criticise him on here in recent weeks which completely baffles me. He's absolutely outstanding at this level. Second mention to Yates. If this guy could finish and head a ball, he should have scored 4 goals yesterday. I'll reiterate my point about him, because all I hear is work rate and attitude. Same went for Benny Osborn, but he didn't have much else in the locker either. How we're missing his "work rate" 🤔 he's a strong lad and over 6ft tall, but simply can't head a ball. When you have a team who should be converting a lot more of their chances, you can't afford to carry a player who can't finish their dinner, if you're serious about promotion. Yesterday should have been comfortable. My point being, Forest can't rely on "work rate" and "attitude" if we want to compete at the top. Spence has both of those things but my god he has application too in abundance. that's what makes the difference.

1.) 16 Jan 2022 08:20:21
I think Yates will miss out once colback slots back into midfield, he’s done well if late though and played to his strengths for the team.

2.) 16 Jan 2022 09:23:48
I think four is really stretching it gazza, two yes, but not four.
Unless suspended or injured he will play every game, colback sits deeper and hasn't got the engine to play Bix to box, anyone makes way it will be garner, but the way he's playing can't see that either.
Good to have competition don't you think?

3.) 16 Jan 2022 09:47:08
A player that is first on the team sheet has no competition.

4.) 16 Jan 2022 10:02:20
Colback has nowhere near the attributes of Yates, he will be on the bench when a orthodox left back is in situ, as I've said before Yates first name on the team sheet for me, possibly one of our major assets along with Johnson and Worral that's why Dyche has been sniffing around him, Colback a decent squad player IMO.

5.) 16 Jan 2022 11:42:26
I think cooper rates colback personally and feel he be in front of others this season, I could be wrong though and hey what a great Debate for us to now be able to have!

6.) 16 Jan 2022 13:10:25
I’ll throw a name in to the mix Cafu? In the two late substitutions against Huddersfield and Arsenal I was very impressed in his attitude and plays better when a bit further up the pitch. Maybe another one who under Cooper could improve us🤷‍♂️ Be nice to see if can be a combative midfielder who can finish.

7.) 16 Jan 2022 13:25:35
Cafu is at best a squad player, we need a player that will push hard any first team player that plays in his position not a player only seen as a late sub.

8.) 16 Jan 2022 13:47:22
That's what football is all about
Having a good squad and making every player feel part of the team.
Team spirit is something Cooper has instilled in the players and it shows with our never give up attitude.
It's a team game, not about individuals.

9.) 16 Jan 2022 14:10:05
The idea is to have your squad players that are seen as players that keep the first team players on their toes not squad players that are seen as only subs. Cooper is doing a good job.

Great victory, very well deserved. I said u was interested to see the character of the team after such a big high against Arsenal, but they were great. Onwards and upwards Reds. Davis and Cook, great additions to the squad.

GazzaRed

1.) 15 Jan 2022 19:26:54
Both goalkeepers kept their teams in the game but playing both Davis and Grabban up top, and having Cook in defence after the break we played some of the best football against what is a bunch of strong players that i have seen for many years.

15 Jan 2022 13:15:33
Big test of character today. Can we pick up where we left off with every man on the pitch giving 110%, or was it just the Arsenal effect. Anything less than a full blooded performance against a physical Milwall team will be hugely disappointing. To win Arsenal should be a big catalyst to improvements in league performances having lost the last two. I'm expecting a big performance, but like I said, let's see the character of the players, do they want it against Millwall just as much as they did on TV against a supposedly top prem team.

GazzaRed

1.) 15 Jan 2022 13:40:19
I’d take a draw today happily mate. If we are not on it Millwall will be difficult to beat, like they were in Coopers first game at the City Ground. Mind you we are a bit more physical ourselves now with Cook and Davies .

2.) 15 Jan 2022 13:43:25
We called off the last league game because we knew Cook, and Davies were soon to be on their way and make us a better team. We will win.

3.) 15 Jan 2022 14:26:53
Really hope we can deal with Matt Smith. whether he plays from the start or as sub!
He always causes us huge problems.

4.) 15 Jan 2022 14:30:22
Be interesting to see how Davis, Grabban and Johnson will be deployed. Obviously Davis is the central target man figure. Grabban alonside or a bit deeper/ wider? Johnson in behind both or out wide? Maybe crafty Grabban in behind a big man and a quick lad. God, it's nice to finally have options 😁 coyr.

5.) 15 Jan 2022 16:17:50
We are going to win this one lads keep the faith.

10 Jan 2022 18:29:10
Another thought, if any players needed convincing that Forest is a great club to join, last night would have been a great advertisement. Who wouldn't want to be part of that.

GazzaRed

1.) 10 Jan 2022 19:15:20
100% mate, opposing fans think we have an amazing fan base.
Just read what they're saying on the U Tube comments.

10 Jan 2022 10:49:35
Message from SC to the lads going in to the second half of the season - now you've shown how good you can be at home for a whole 90 mins, anything less than that is unacceptable.

If we play like we did last night consistently then the playoffs are nailed on. Davis starting and Grabban off the bench looks like a great option. You can see how Davis doesn't score many goals, but he will bring in the players around him. Now let's get Lowe back fit and bring Laryea up to speed and things can only get better. Signing another winger would be the cherry on the cake.

Very attack minded wing back. he's got pace that will frighten championship defenders.

I'll say it now, I don't think we'll have any problems brushing the sheep to one side. If Yates gets on the scoresheet I'll be just as happy as the next man. Put a tenner on it 79, we could be millionaires.

79, I'd declare myself his biggest fan if that happens. But I think I'm safe on that one. Genuinely would love it to happen though.
