Wolves to make Lamouchi their number one target to replace Nuno if he leaves them. Forest need to support him in Jan.

1.) 01 Dec 2019 20:06:09
Wouldn't worry about wolves Watford are on the look out now best get him signed up.

2.) 01 Dec 2019 21:30:14
Agree skeggs but he needs to take advice from red fred or he won't be a top managerπŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”.

3.) 01 Dec 2019 22:27:16
Lol 79 lamouchi needs advice off no one just time to do is job and a great one he's doing so far.

29 Jul 2019 09:55:41
Do we need Ben Gibson or Scott McKenna? We already have 5 solid CBs at this level. Surely the money being touted for McKenna would be better spent on a striker and pacey winger.

1.) 29 Jul 2019 11:26:46
In a word NO.
But our dof has got a thing about midfielders and defenders.
With Watson as the holding midfielder and relying on grabban as the only striker I'm afraid I fear for us this season.

2.) 29 Jul 2019 13:33:18
We need a left footed centreback. The system we have means our centre backs will be put under pressure. With a right footer on the left side it can cause mistakes. I also think 1 or 2 will be leaving.

3.) 29 Jul 2019 14:01:31
Our defence was woefully exposed in the second half by Real S. Couldn't get near the ball.
I think 2 or 3 of our center backs will be sold before the end of the window.

4.) 29 Jul 2019 14:02:35
Redtree we have one he's called Robinson.

5.) 29 Jul 2019 18:13:42
I think woefully exposed is a bit strong. I thought they did well against a very technical team.

26 Jul 2019 09:29:43
Forest accepted the Osborn deal after some of the add-ons in the initial offer were amended. Presumably Sheff Utd agreed to a higher sell on fee percentage.

1.) 26 Jul 2019 09:51:41
Is that you LC?

2.) 26 Jul 2019 10:27:32
Why would that make the difference? Seems very strange. A higher bid being accepted would be understandable. Something else must have led to them accepting what is basically the same bid?!

3.) 26 Jul 2019 10:46:20
Of course add-ons make a difference.

May be that we get extra fees for the amount of games he plays next season, whether they stay up or not, or could just be an extra few percent on the sell-on fee.

Either way, it is an improved offer and not the same bid.

4.) 26 Jul 2019 11:08:48
"Not significantly raised their valuation of the player" so barely any improvement.

5.) 26 Jul 2019 11:33:05
A bit like Ben then TWF. Barely any improvement.

6.) 26 Jul 2019 12:25:23
Got mucked about by being played out of position at left back. Be interesting to see where Chris Wilder plays him. Or how Forest fare without him.

7.) 26 Jul 2019 13:10:01
Wilder likes players who are able to play in different positions. That's why he's signed Osborn.

8.) 26 Jul 2019 13:32:17
"more money up front and an improvement to potential future sell-on clauses"

So clearly an improvement.

9.) 26 Jul 2019 13:49:34
Judging by Wilders interview of Osborn, he will be used all over the pitch, very much like at forest.

10.) 26 Jul 2019 13:51:46
Undislosed amount on the Osborne sale so all the amounts being shouted about are pure speculation but if the local rag is to believed we turned down 3m but more likely to be arounf 3.5m to 4m but even they don't know definitely or ever will. But if that is correct then not a bad price for someone with 11 months left on his contract. Good luck to him for wanting to play in the Premiership.

11.) 26 Jul 2019 22:42:35
Company accounts will have to show it if it's of major interest, but the lad was going nowhere at forest and to be honest don't think he'll ever be a prem player.
Sheff utd are doing the right thing in getting proven championship players together for their season in the prem knowing full well if it ends in failure they have a squad capable of going straight back up.
Burnley did this and it brings stability to a club financially.

12.) 27 Jul 2019 15:11:26
Who cares? The money received is only as good as the new player coming in!

If it's Bostock then we will have a stronger line-up with him than lightweight Benny O.

People have very short memories. It was under the Breadman that our featherweight midfield of Osborn, Vaughan and McKay kept getting steamrollered.

These days you have be exceptionally gifted and quick of feet and mind to compete if you are small which is where Benny falls short!

13.) 27 Jul 2019 22:24:13
When was the last time you saw bostock play?
Your talking something similar 😁🀣🀣🀣.

23 Jul 2019 11:28:37
Shelf Utd have made an improved offer of 5m for Osborn. Surely now we sell. he's in the last year of his contract. A good lump of money to go towards a new striker.

1.) 23 Jul 2019 11:34:17
Β£5million would be good business. I really can't see Osborn being anything more than a squad player if he stays put.

2.) 23 Jul 2019 11:54:39
If he goes, he gets my thanks for his efforts in the Garibaldi. Best wishes and hope we play the blunts in the PL next season. πŸ‘.

3.) 23 Jul 2019 12:13:54
Best of luck to him, can’t deny him the chance to play in the PL and Β£5million is good business with only 12 months left on his contract. Just hope we spend it on another striker.

4.) 23 Jul 2019 13:08:10
Yes need a new striker even two. Sad to see a home grown player leave as we have so many times in the past!

5.) 23 Jul 2019 13:30:13
Taylor has just tweeted that the deal could be concluded within 24 hours.

01 Jul 2019 20:04:54
Colback had reportedly been released from his contract with Newcastle and Forest are set to sign him.

1.) 01 Jul 2019 20:54:01
No he hasn't.

2.) 01 Jul 2019 20:56:55
I'd be happy with that.

3.) 01 Jul 2019 22:38:24
Has he or has he not? That is the question.

4.) 02 Jul 2019 23:33:59
Colback Boom oo Yata Ta Ta

"Will you meet us in August or will you be gone?
If not we will not love you the same from now on"

Look at me when I'm talking to you it's time to make up your mind!

This Welsh coach must have been taking tactical advice from Hughton zzzzzzzzzzzz.

1.) 12 Jun 2021 16:10:36
Just watched that game if VAR is in use to disallow a goal, where was it in the first half, when the Swiss player clearly had his shirt dragged off his back in the 6 yard box, ?

2.) 12 Jun 2021 16:41:27
Could not agree more stevie, but given the advantage the kid really should have scored.

3.) 12 Jun 2021 17:35:58

10.) 12 Jun 2021 19:40:59
Your words at the end of of your posts have never rang so true than tonight mate. I salute you Bowie Red. and all the heartfelt messages from the Forest Family.
God Bless you all.

11.) 12 Jun 2021 19:50:30
Making taking the knee tomorrow may be bad taste, at one time it was a minutes silence for a sporting colleague!

12.) 12 Jun 2021 20:44:44
Bowie, it wasn’t a bbc feed, but they should have gone to the studio as soon as the seriousness of the situation was apparentt, to linger on the image of him receiving cpr was a disgrace, and to zoom in on has distressed partner/ wife was shocking, serious questions need asking of the handling of a terrible situation, by the bbc,

13.) 12 Jun 2021 21:22:36
Very much appreciated rogie mate .

14.) 12 Jun 2021 21:26:57
dont see the point any more to take the knee, not one russian player took the knee and most of the crowd bood.

15.) 13 Jun 2021 19:23:44
And stevie f thanks for putting me right mate, always luv your posts matey πŸ‘.

16.) 14 Jun 2021 13:45:36
Your a top bloke Bowie.

06 Jun 2021 17:44:35
How is Ben Godfrey in this England team over Matty Cash. You looks completely lost going forward.

1.) 06 Jun 2021 18:49:20
Better off with "Private" Godfrey lol!

2.) 06 Jun 2021 19:33:20
The Blackpool manager wants to sign Gabriel on a permanent deal, if he thinks Gabriel is good enough for the Championship who are we to argue with him, therefore he needs to be part of the Forest first eighteen or so and playing as in the first eleven as long as his form is good enough.

01 Jun 2021 11:30:13
I've just realised how depleted our sqaud is of any real quality, assuming Worrall leaves this summer. We have no RB? We only have Blackett at LB. We only have Mckenna and Soh at CB. We have one real winger is Lolley and he's done. We have one real striker in Grabban and he's done. And then you're left with the likes of Cafu, Yates and Colback. Unless they bring in 7 or 8 QUALITY players (not has beens or unproven) and with the worst manager we've had since Megson, we're in big trouble next season.

1.) 01 Jun 2021 11:50:31
Been saying it for a while now and you are spot on.

2.) 01 Jun 2021 12:18:39
Unless loads of money is spent, and a lot of luck is gained bringing in 7 or 8 quality players is not is not going to happen.

The situation the club is in unproven, but not has beens is the way to go with 1 or 2 proven players if possible but that will put a strain on keeping within the fair play rules.

Things need to be done properly not going gung-ho by going for quick fixes, if the so called fair play rules were no longer in place and the owner was willing to splash the cash that would be different, provided if it did not work the club were not left with the cost.

3.) 01 Jun 2021 13:12:18
Gazza Red, I've been thinking this for a while. Great post. Legitimately it takes a strong first team and then back up substitutes to challenge for playoffs. I don't even know who are first eleven are anymore. The only thing in our favour is a transfer window but its pretty shocking when we have 30 plus players in our books.

4.) 01 Jun 2021 13:42:10
GK: Samba, Smith
RB: Gabriel, new signing
LB: Blackett, new signing
CB: Figueredo, Soh, McKenna, If Worrall goes new signing?
DM: Fornah, Yates, Colback?, Cafu?!?!?!?! (erm)
Wings: Mighten, Lolley, Johnson, new signing
Striker: Grabban, New PROVEN signing, New younger player, backup Johnson/ Mighten

So we could get away with 5 quality signings if Worall stays, possibly not even replace him.

We all agree too many signings at once doesn't work I seem to remember. Also the less you sign the more wages you can afford and attract better players. Signing 8 avarage players and we are back to square one.

If we need backup layers then look at the youth.

5.) 01 Jun 2021 13:48:28
Forgot to put Carvalho johnson, Mighten for no10.

With any luck if we sign 2 strikers one will be a good number 10 as well.

6.) 01 Jun 2021 16:08:34
I believe Figs will be leaving in the summer.

Gabriel Soh McKenna Blackett
Yates Cafu
Mighten Lolley Johnson

As it stands that's our starting 11. That team will not keep us in this league. That's if CH is even planning on giving Gabriel and Johnson a chance. I hate the idea of bringing in another load of players and hoping they will gel, but I don't see any other option if we're going to be able to field a team capable of competing.

7.) 02 Jun 2021 12:12:44
I won’t have a bad word said about megson maybe 10 or 20 nasty ones allowed though.

13 May 2021 14:08:30
Ribeiro all but confirmed he's leaving in the summer. Massive shame, one of the leagues best wing backs in my opinion. Who's going to replace him, Blackett!?

1.) 13 May 2021 17:44:20
No Gazza mate, his replacement is a nailed on third team player from Olympiacos, 45 year old knacker on a three year 30k a week contract.

2.) 13 May 2021 17:50:38
Ionnou is a better attacking wing back for a start. If you want a defensive wing back then Blackett is better.

The reason he is leaving is that he wants a lot of money to stay and/ or wants to go home (unless we pay him a lot) . Byeeee.

06 May 2021 19:25:35
So I'm going to look in to my crystal ball and predict the future. CH will keep his job. We will sell one or two of Worrall, Mighten or Johnson. Players like Robeiro, Figeuredo and Soh will be shown the door. CH will replace them with mediocre cronies. The football will not change and will be dull in to next season. The fans will get back in the CG and send CH packing with his tale between his legs. We will go another season fighting relegation. Tell me I'm wrong.

1.) 06 May 2021 19:57:47
We all hope you are wrong, Riberio, and Figs have been touted as wanting to leave, if true get rid.

2.) 06 May 2021 20:03:18
You don't need a crystal ball to predict that Gazza its set in stone and the outcome will be looking for a new manager in January.
He plays his five loans if he can?
Wanted Cafu. 🀣🀣
Wanted knockheart 🀣🀣🀣
Wanted Murray. πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£.

3.) 06 May 2021 20:21:35
You've all got it wrong before over and over again my crystal ball says at least we're giving a manager another season to try and build a team and get it right that will do me and should help the club and the players that he chooses to stay here.

4.) 06 May 2021 20:36:41
It is such a shame the club are backing such a dull manager that has got the team playing dull football instead of backing a forward thinking manager.

The manager is so dull he can not see his reflection in a mirror.

His teams football is so dull parents play Forest games to get their kids off in no time. 😁.

5.) 06 May 2021 21:21:15
The players will be thinking Chaffing Hell. 🀣.

6.) 06 May 2021 21:42:16
Skegs, he can have whatever team he wants, but when you have a manager scared of conceding goals at the detriment to scoring them, it's always going to be a bore fest.

7.) 06 May 2021 21:46:12
Skeggs you hate this sort of football and its nort working.

8.) 06 May 2021 22:53:22
Your right 79 u know me so well that's why after 10 years of swappng and changing management that hasn't worked I've finally gave up for something new.

9.) 07 May 2021 07:59:45
It going to be such a big wake up call for everyone at the club when supporters get their voice back.

It has to be more than 10m. Young, English CBs come at a premium nowadays. If we don't get at least 15m it's very bad Business.

Don't expect fireworks from this guy, that's not his game. But he is technical, forward thinking creative and his passing is solid. Very good signing in my opinion, well done Chris and team. Just watched his interview, he speaks very well too, he's done his research on the club, knows the shirt he's playing for. More than can be said for some of the current players.
