Hopefully the Premier League clubs vote in favour of scrapping VAR at next months AGM. It's got worse each season sine it's implementation. Fingers crossed. ??.

I agree redstripe, works perfectly in other sports been is really poorly run/ managed in football.
When everyone in the pub clearly see a foul/ offisde etc that they take up to 3 mins to feck up is laughable really.
Weird thing is, the tournaments like Euros and World Cup it seems to work ok.

Nothing wrong with the technology of var just the people doing it on the day
Unfortunately, this country in any league has at times become about the referee, it's not just happened overnight, it's been happening for years.
With var there should be no excuse, but to me Stuart Attwell should have been banned from refereeing years ago when he gave a goal that was a yard wide of the goal, spec savers should use that footage as an advert, but instead he was fast tracked to the premier.

As you say DTP, nothing wrong with VAR, bring common sense back into it, don’t take it to the extreme, toe nails, elbows, centre metres etc, think most fans would be happy, let referees ref and VAR pick up the MAJOR mistakes simple.

Today will unfortunately be my last home game as a season ticket holder. I've thought about for a few weeks but I begrudge paying an increase of upwards of 30% to watch another potential relegation battle and VAR is ruining the matchday experience for me. No point in celebrating a goal because it's got to be checked for 2/ 3 minutes and also the fact that the officials on the pitch and on VAR grossly incompetent. Plus, the renewal date is too soon to judge the transfer activity so I'll watch the matches on the dodgy stick with my boy (s). I'll go out in style and get blind drunk. ??????.

The Flying 'V' will be coming in September, Balloons. The in-laws have said they'll top up the remaining few quid. I've got £2000 so they're going to give me the rest for my birthday. Happy days. Excellent and much needed 3 points today. Rode our luck at times by the sound of it but a win is all that counts at this stage of the season.
If any of you fellow Reds who haven't seen the game yet, like myself, want to watch it then it's on Sky Sports 'Game of the Day' at 20.30hrs. I'll be watching it with a Pizza Paz pizza (best pizza's ever, incidentally) and a few beers with one of my boys. The other one isn't interested in football. Strange kid. I'd like to say he isn't mine but he must be as he looks like his twin and bears a slight resemblance to me when I was 3.

They never see it as it's in my missus' 'office' which is always locked and they never see me or the missus smoke it. Incidentally, it's effectively decriminalised anyway as the police do not care about the stuff. Clubs like Man City and Chelsea bring a lot of sponsorship into the Premier League, so relegating them will be counterproductive to the people who run the league. As we know the Premier League is corrupt to the core, but money makes everything better.

I'm totally against the illegal Israeli settlements on the West Bank, the illegal Israeli military occupation, illegal Israeli annexation and the illegal blockade of Gaza (since 2007?) But our government turn a blind eye to it and seem to encourage it by doing nothing about it and blocking ICJ rulings on the occupation.
Government interference either way and they shouldn't get involved in ownership nor anything regarding regulators.

Boris Johnson involved himself in football when he lied to the Premier League about the Newcastle United ownership. 'No one in the Saudi government will have any dealings in the running of the club'. Or words to that effect. The chairman is a Saudi government official. And then had Abramovich kicked out the country for doing nothing wrong.
