Whilst us fans are being mugged off by yet another international break, does anybody watch that crap anyway, I watched a bit of the sickoffantic wolverine lastnight. If what he says about Filipe is true then here goes with another Richards, scarpa, obrien surridge joke. It's said that Filipe is training hard yet does not even make the match day squad. Probably the best player at the club. I did say earlier that he has a persistent knee issue and we won't see him again. However if he is training full pelt then that debunks that thought. Apparently he is being fattened up for sale. Or being sent to the new bomb squad, olympiakos. What do you all believe or think?
1.) 17 Nov 2023 12:32:25
Agree, Felipe was our best player last season. Hope they are nursing him back as we might need him after the Christmas injury fest.
2.) 17 Nov 2023 20:07:32
Thats down to marinakis Rutland who he recruits from us
He's on 72 k a week and his contract ends in summer
Looks like nino lined up to replace him?
There will be players going to monza now aswell as that's another club marinakis owns
He's a buisn3ss man Rutland and he's buying younger players to replace older ones, got nothing to do with Cooper his hands are tied on these sort of deals, he's just the coach.
3.) 17 Nov 2023 20:36:02
rutland, felippe is 34 i think so just can't see him playing for us again we, ve been linked with this Nino from Fluminesce coming in Jan for 6m and we've got the norwich lad waiting for his chance too. not sure if buying so many players from africa and s america instead of europe is a great idea when you lose so many for there tournaments each year but not complaining very lucky to have a chairman like Mr M prepared to splash the cash :-)
4.) 18 Nov 2023 10:58:40
I can see Felipe playing for us again. He was our second-fastest player still last season and one of the fastest defenders in Europe (something like that) and looked as sharp as a pin only a few months ago.
If we don't get any injuries and sign Nino, then it probably won't happen, but if we get a couple of injuries at CB over Chrimbo then he's a good bet to play if fit.
5.) 24 Nov 2023 14:39:22
Wolverine speaks absolute nonesense, anyone listening to that garbage needs there heads testing, he didn't support forest before prem, lives in Swindon, he's a sausage, incel and troll channel for kids that know nothing about football.
6.) 03 Dec 2023 15:31:06
Well Felipe is back. ?.

I thought the ref was outstanding tonight, and the Lino's. Well done.
1.) 04 Mar 2025 02:14:42
Now the dust has settled and I've calmed down my thoughts from the game. Awongi offers nothing, he's a good yard behind everyone else. Dalio and sangare were ineffective Yates was excellent covering for the former two. Elangre wants to spend the day practicing crossing the ball. Thankfully we have mgw and Anderson. Rubbish game.
2.) 04 Mar 2025 08:47:49
If you are writing about our players mate. At least learn their names first.
I agree about Yates, he was brilliant and I agree he covered for Sangare and Danillo who were miles off it again.
3.) 04 Mar 2025 16:14:32
So sorry didn't know I needed a degree in English language to be a forest supporter. Better get back into my illiterate hole.
4.) 04 Mar 2025 20:33:34
That's one way of looking at it mate. Just thought I'd point it out in case you wanted to get the names right in future. No worries if you don't.
5.) 04 Mar 2025 21:07:47
Ref, linesman and the lineswoman all had a decent game. They didn't miss much and a good spot with Yates' disallowed goal. No complaints at all. I thought Danilo had a terrible game and Awoniyi wasn't particularly good but didn't have much service really.
6.) 04 Mar 2025 21:36:53
They could be called Tom Dick or Harry for all l care, it's the performance on the pitch that bothers me. if they can't cut the mustard then get rid and bring in those that can.
24 Feb 2025 20:55:22
We can have few complaints about time added on or what could have been re pens and fouls. We were just as bad trying in desperation to claim pens which were ridiculous. Mgw should grow up. The reason we lost was all of our own doing. Dominguez is an out of his depth and his positional play was rightly called out by the punters. Mgw and Anderson did little around their box and when they did it was panic balls. Mgw is not learning, still a flash of chaos when he gets the ball. He needs to be calmer, stop the desperate stupid flicks. Had we shown a bit more composure and conviction we might well have grabbed a point. We had a 20 minute spell of utter unprofessionalism which cost us 4 goals. Newcastle had a whole 2nd half of it lol. What on earth they were doing beggars belief. I'd like to say we really stepped up but it was more complacency from them. But in fairness we dug in and took full advantage without really testing their keeper. I would expect to see Sangare in for Dominguez on weds and I think we can really go at this Arsenal team. Against Newcastle our midfield let the back 4 down with Harri carri madness. I doubt it will happen against the Arsenal.
1.) 24 Feb 2025 21:34:33
Again rutters, for me toon have best midfield in premier tbh. Spoil the tw##s yates. As said. Runs his heart out for the badge. Yeah fouls none stop etc. But someone's obviously coaching him into it, and roy keane loves him.
20 Feb 2025 16:54:14
Just noted DTP is back. Good news for the banter. In total agreement about being sussed ref zonal marking and I do prefer a back four as like you said wing backs get caught too far out in a three. Although Aina seems to be targeted at far post crosses. We are vulnerable to decent balls into our box and Fulham put some A list crosses in.
18 Feb 2025 11:06:28
Not a negative post as i do feel we have been punching above our weight for a while now and riding our luck. But you have to go with that as Lady Luck is a cruel mistress. I would hope that with all the surprises and absolute class of Chris Wood that we can have a strong run in. personally you can keep the euro conference garbage equivalent to the
Johnsons paint trophy. We don't need that distraction next season. The shame of our recent defeats and tough encounter at Exeter is our inability to deal with or cut out crosses. I mentioned this a few weeks ago that for big lads, particularly milenkovic, he and Murillo get caught in no mans land. No more illustrated than by the liverpool goal against us. Sells has been outstanding this season but one area that seems his Achilles heel is coming for crosses or is it a misunderstanding with the zonal responsibilities of our big defenders?
I don't watch as much as many of the chaps on here do but I find MGW frustrating. He tries the imposible flicks and and through balls where keeping posession in these areas would be more beneficial to the team. When he does the simple things with his drive and vision he is one hell of a player. I think he simply needs to calm down. We may well be a surprise package this year but dealing with these issues could well have earned us the odd more crucial points. Keep up the good work lads.
1.) 18 Feb 2025 13:54:22
Can't agree on not wanting to play in the europa or conference leagues next season. We've finished 17th the last two years, finishing top 7 would be a fantastic achievement. I actually think we'd have a realistic chance of semi finals at least.
2.) 18 Feb 2025 15:11:04
I agree with Rutland. Champions league or not interested in Kazakhstan on a Thursday night!
3.) 18 Feb 2025 16:04:54
Asian countries like Kazakhstan and dirty Israel shouldn't be allowed to play in European competitions.
4.) 18 Feb 2025 16:34:53
Do Israel play dirty then? I've never really paid attention to their tackles from behind and other dastardly tactics.
I'll have to take your word that they're a dirty team. Wonder how many red cards they get.
5.) 18 Feb 2025 16:35:22
Good post Rutters.
6.) 18 Feb 2025 17:12:28
If we qualified for the conference. We would be among the favourites to win it.
A great chance to get our first trophy since 1990.
I for one would be delighted to be in it.
7.) 18 Feb 2025 17:21:13
Yeah perko, again good to see ya rutters. Your getting like Alfred hitchcock. Probably itchy. Playing cameo ?.
8.) 18 Feb 2025 17:25:39
They play dirty in war, Targa.
9.) 18 Feb 2025 17:26:54
Right now I'd be happy with the Anglo - Scottish cup.
10.) 18 Feb 2025 17:57:17
Polly. our history isn't squeeky clean when it comes to war atrocities. Remind me who invented concentration camps. football site mate, not a format for any type of bigoted remark, because that's what it is.
11.) 18 Feb 2025 18:18:15
The Spanish effectively invented concentration camps.
12.) 18 Feb 2025 18:35:57
That said, I would take a top 10 finish considering we've had 2 consecutive relegation battles.
13.) 18 Feb 2025 18:44:36
They did Polyard, problem is there was only "Juan" in it!
???.
14.) 18 Feb 2025 19:45:33
Personally I'd rather avoid the bight lights of Thursday night football unless we sign 11 players in the summer as we just don't have the depth in our squad but i'd like to think if we got into the champions league we would strengthen and add numbers in all departments.
15.) 18 Feb 2025 19:46:55
Your wrong pollard, we British had camps in south Africa in the boar war. Get the facts right and as the man said this is a football site.
16.) 18 Feb 2025 19:57:44
In that case winter we will never make it we need to be in competitions like this to attract better players Mr marankis other team Olympiacos lifted the uefa cup not with 11 great players though. so why can't we what a feeling for forest fans that would be but hey ho we need to wait because we won't be good enough mind boggles.
17.) 18 Feb 2025 20:57:12
What do Alexander the Great and Winnie the Pooh have in common?
18.) 18 Feb 2025 21:58:47
I don't know winter tree is it honey. honey ?.
19.) 18 Feb 2025 22:56:51
Lol. The same middle name?. Mind boggling?.
20.) 20 Feb 2025 20:57:33
Reminds me of what does the D stand for in D day. (Doris) OK ok.
21.) 22 Feb 2025 05:27:41
Id take Europa league but not conference. If we win the Europa, we would get in to the champions league the year after. Also who doesn't want to see European nights at the city ground.
26 Jan 2025 15:21:48
I think that pasting yesterday has been coming. The last 4 or 5 matches has seen us proflicate in posession and our stats usually around 38-45%. We can soak and break and pass like we did against Southampton 3 times but other than that we struggled. You can invite teams on and ride your luck but when luck runs out you get a found out. Our set pieces are woefull. The delivery is weak and directionless. Crosses into our own box when delivered with pace and height leave Murrilo and Milenkovic in no man's land. We have conceded too many from these situations.
I hope Nuno has more in his locker like I said a few weeks ago, teams will exploit these weaknesses. We are 3rd at the moment punching above our weight no doubt. But I think we are there for a reason and a regrouping and forever onward with a few tweaks and we can maintain a top 6 position.
The bubbles not burst just a little deflated.
1.) 26 Jan 2025 18:47:28
Totally agree with you Rutland.
2.) 26 Jan 2025 19:35:15
Agreed Rutters.

Munmad slab head McGuire is a better defender and can head a ball. MURRILLO can pass accepted but he’s no commanding defender.
27 Dec 2023 08:57:31
Lol you’d have to be mad to appoint cooper at a prem club. He struggled with us and had no identity or proven ability at this level. Championship with a mediocre club is his level.

Totally agree Bowie.
10 Feb 2025 22:04:44
Cho won’t be risked. Exeter will beat that team. Nuno should put out a near full strength team get the job done and then rest some key players. Putting out an untested team against a hungry fiery lower league outfit on a cold Tuesday night is suicide.
27 Jan 2025 22:17:48
Mv I include all the saves from Sels and hitting the goal frame. Yes to a degree the back four have been fantastic but particularly milancovic, he gets out of position where he can’t use his height advantage. It’s bit different going one up and defending but when you one down it’s a totally different scenario. That was a position we have rarely found ourselves in this season.
27 Jan 2025 17:52:08
I agree ADF but this has been coming for weeks now. A chain is only as good as its weakest link and Bournemouth exploited our vulnerability through the middle. I posted earlier about our useless set pieces and our Ariel deficiencies from corners and free kicks. Our centre backs are always in no man’s land. We’ve had AINA and Sels to thank for last ditch defending. You cannot ride your luck for ever. So it came home to roost. Being efficient on the break is one thing but you ain’t going to do it when the ball is spinning in the back of your own net….
27 Dec 2024 00:28:13
You were watching a different game to me Rhr. Wood won every header, held the ball up superbly and ran his socks off. Awoniyi is a cart horse at this level. He had one chance where it bounced off his his knee but instead of squaring it he tried the impossible. Not for me dropping Wood. He is the constant in the team the best signing in years…. Have you looked at awoniyi trying to run? His legs are gone and so will he be in January.
