Gary Neville’s comment regarding Nuno should walk after a little public rant by our owner, just confirms that Neville is a spineless, weak and privileged human being.
Nuno has more integrity, class and strength in character than Neville has ever had.

I agree Legolas. Having rewatched the footage of Mr M’s dramatic entrance onto the hallowed turf yesterday I think he was initially frustrated with the ref and lines woman for not flagging the clear offside early thus causing Taiwos unnecessary injury. Then he went to confront his employee Nuno to ask why Taiwo was kept on when injured and Jota swapped with Anderson instead, effectively reducing us to 10 men when we needed to throw the kitchen sink at Leicester in the remaining 9 minutes of injury time. Clearly, an error of judgement by the physio and medical team and perhaps Taiwo being over brave. Such things should be sorted out behind closed doors imo.
Neville was a useless coach and, like his brother, a mediocre player made to look better by the stars around him. How either of them got so many England caps is beyond me……As a pundit, I believe he had us down for a relegation scrap?

You're right PohH Yates is the missing piece. For some strange reason he keeps getting left out when he should be first name on the teamsheet - he is the captain as well. MGW was shocking today and needs Yates to do the physical stuff and the responsibility of the captaincy.

I don’t understand it, he makes me so angry watching him play but at the same time we seem to be better with him on the pitch.
I don’t like the way he tackles and how he always looking for a free kick but most games when he starts we look better.

Pineapple I’d agree with the previous posts. He’s a leader as well hence often given the Captains armband. You are right that the really world class defensive midfielders bring more distribution skills. So, they break up the oppositions play then start a counter attack with some great passing skills and vision. Have a look at ( imo) one of the best in the business Declan Rice when Arsenal come down to the CG in a few weeks mate.
The only down side is that he cost £105 million. We are not in that market atm.

Is being a spoiler enough for modern football?. yeh it is, we're third in the league so it's a part of something that's working. It's part of the big picture and the picture is not whole without it.
If we were third from bottom then there's an argument against it. Nuno implements it not us and the last I looked he is a modern day manager in modern day Premier league football so yeh it is good enough for modern day football.

I don't see Yates as a starter in the team but every squad could do with a Yates type player, one that can disrupt the opposition and just be a general nuisance, he not the best passer but he keeps things simple, I prefer him in the team rather than sangare who we need replace. He is a natural leader and brings more to the squad and would be missed if he left.

the bottom line is he has been played and he's done his bit to assure us third in the league. It's not like during Sangare's/ Danillo's absence Yates has let the team down in any way. Those two havn't been there and we're third and unless you think we'd be top with them in then Yates has done his bit. Anyway. it's Fulham today and if Nuno brings O'Brien back from loan and starts him then he too gets my support. COYR's.

Well managed to get tickets for Exeter v Forest be the first time in around 10 years since moving away from Newark 20 odd years ago I will actually see Forest play all be it the 2nd string but I don’t care. I love living in the South Devon but miss watching Forest. Watching Torquay just isn’t the same.

I agree that my use of the 'f word' was too strong. However, to put things more diplomatically, I have come to the conclusion that the Exeter game and the FA Cup as a whole is a distraction that we don't need given our amazing situation in the PL and the potential of European football. Just my opinion.
And as for running away with myself Bowie - nope, not in any physical or emotional way!

I’m with you RR, especially our defence who are having to work the hardest.
That as well as other teams coming to grips with the way we play and not committing so many forward.
It might be good to switch things up a bit.
