Krovinovic looks to be signings then according to Nottingham post.
What would you think if signed him?

Seemed to do well last year at WBA, with a run of games to get fitter and sharper he could be the no. 10 we’ve been looking for.

1.) 18 Jan 2021 13:48:54
Well he's only 25 and has proven he can perform well in this league. Has the attributes this team badly needs. Seems like a good deal to me.

2.) 21 Jan 2021 18:08:16
Gone quiet on him. Not coming? We are now short of central midfielders!

09 Oct 2020 09:24:11
Knockaert understood to be close. Next 2-3 days and he’ll be a forest player for the season.

1.) 09 Oct 2020 18:01:26
If he joins other than yates our entire midfield will be left footers, lolley, freeman, Arter, colback, and ameobi who has 2😂😂😂.

2.) 09 Oct 2020 21:16:34

3.) 09 Oct 2020 22:04:54
Im beginning to think its actually three? 😉.

4.) 10 Oct 2020 09:28:59
I'm wondering if Houghton will try and get a decent forward in I doubt he'll be able to but if anywhere on the pitch needs strengthening then its upfront and as been for some time.

5.) 10 Oct 2020 10:31:49
From what i have seen so far Taylor does not look to have goals in him. That might change under hughton. Grabban will still be good for 15 i suspect. Arter and Freeman will probably bag 10 between them and lolley 6. Agreed another sharp shooter may be required.

6.) 10 Oct 2020 18:45:48
Hes certainly missed a couple of good chances.
Different approach from a different manager so we will have to wait and see what happens.

7.) 11 Oct 2020 15:18:21
If we get hold of someone like Gayle. I’d sell grabbon looks past his best. Misses sitters. Also looks unhappy.

8.) 11 Oct 2020 17:52:53
Ivan toney 3 in four matches for brentford. that's a striker.

9.) 11 Oct 2020 23:35:46
Getting habit wary of Grabben.

03 Oct 2020 18:22:27
Sabri gone.

1.) 03 Oct 2020 19:05:25

2.) 03 Oct 2020 19:16:23
Yes, announcement due tomorrow morning.

3.) 03 Oct 2020 19:18:07
He is pulling your leg.

4.) 03 Oct 2020 19:26:51
He hasn’t yet.

5.) 03 Oct 2020 19:27:01
just read the same. Hunt for new manager started earlier in the week so the report said.

6.) 03 Oct 2020 19:49:11
Not seen it.

7.) 03 Oct 2020 19:56:12
Let's hope this is true.

8.) 03 Oct 2020 19:57:58
Is that the red October hunt? 🤣🤣.

9.) 03 Oct 2020 20:07:37
A Scottish talking Russian will be hard to find Forest. 😁.

10.) 03 Oct 2020 21:34:16
The way things are going some on here are going to have a connery as del would say. 🤪.

11.) 04 Oct 2020 12:07:26
Yesh Mish Money Penny!

12.) 04 Oct 2020 14:31:15
I think Roger Moore would raise a eyebrow to that. 😁.

04 Sep 2020 12:54:26
Nat Phillips (CB) and Sheyi Ojo (Winger) both of Liverpool, looks like both are being linked strongly at the moment.

Nat has a good loan away at Stuttgart last season and looks to be a good player.
I think ojo in the right team is can be a good player at championship level.

Have the Ed’s heard anything?

{Ed001's Note - all I know is they are both up for sale and have interest from a number of Championship clubs. Personally I wouldn't recommend Ojo, he has talent but can't be bothered.}

1.) 04 Sep 2020 14:11:26
Thank you ed.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}

18 Aug 2020 11:12:03
Sheyi ojo of Liverpool has been linked. Could be a good signing at this level showed glimpses at Liverpool of his quality.

1.) 18 Aug 2020 18:46:59
None of the clubs he was loaned to took him a second time as far as i think of.

2.) 18 Aug 2020 20:21:40
Only winger we should be looking to sign are either Jacob Murphy or Jed Wallace.

3.) 18 Aug 2020 21:54:36
Out of our price range red.

4.) 18 Aug 2020 23:26:48
I believe Murphy only got one year left on his contract so could get him on the cheap, can't see a loan.

5.) 19 Aug 2020 01:31:46
I'd take Jed give em carvalho for him may aswell can't see him playing a game anytime soon.

6.) 19 Aug 2020 07:45:36
He could thrive under Lamouchis coaching. Just because the lad hasn’t really set the world alight at other clubs doesn’t mean he will fail at Forest. He definitely has great potential and let’s hope if he joins he has the right attitude and mindset to let Sabri help him for fill it.

Keep the Faith.

Harry Kane anybody? Heard he’s wanting to leave Spurs, he looks like a tidy player that’ll grab plenty of goals.

1.) 18 May 2021 05:18:18
No good for us mate, he wouldn’t get any meaningful service and would end up with 4 goals at the end of the season- probably 2 of which were lucky penalties 🤣.

2.) 18 May 2021 12:40:09
Sure its not Michael Caine.

3.) 18 May 2021 13:04:08
What about Eden Kane ,or is he too young?

12 May 2021 19:42:36
Just been having a look at what out of contract players we could look at from the championship and premier league, there’s a few good names that I’d be happy for the club to pursue
Alex Mowatt - CM
Nick Powell - CAM
Adam reach - Winger/ CAM
Assombalonga - Striker
Marcondes - CAM/ Striker
Pelly Ruddock - CM

Premier League:
Schlupp - LB
Clyne - RB
Atsu - winger
Besic - CDM
Murphy - Winger
Bartley - CB

There’s a handful of players from that list that I think would definitely improve us.

1.) 12 May 2021 20:42:17
Mowatt is the only one i would want at the club, until they play for us you can not be sure.

2.) 12 May 2021 23:01:22
Well if he proved crap as a player he could at least mow the pitch?

3.) 12 May 2021 23:36:28
For me I’d take Mowatt and Reach from the championship bunch and Murphy from the prem bunch.
Schlupp wouldn’t be too bad either, LB and LM.

4.) 13 May 2021 00:07:28
Nick Powell would be a great signing. So would Britt in spite of the odd negativity from peeps on here. I mean some of the same people who don't want Britt (age 28) are OK with GrabNoGoals (age 34 in Jan) last season and a half!

Unbelievable Terry!

I have a feeling they have been talking to Britt's agent.

5.) 13 May 2021 05:46:41
One thing about Adam reach he’d have no trouble getting here, reading the Wednesday forum plenty of offers to drive him wherever he wants to go,

6.) 13 May 2021 08:33:29
I would not want Britt but his age would have nothing to do with it, it is his wages that would be the issue.

His goals have not been high enough each term to warrant those wages.

Grabban is a different matter entirely, in spite of his age he had had the goals coming regularly.

Grabban's goals though, as you mentioned have dried up the last term and a half, add that to his wages and age it is time to get rid.

Not everything is about a players age but one thing is for sure, when you bring a player in that is near to thirty, is thirty, or is over thirty and their wages are high their performances for their club need to warrant their wages.

Off course there are other factors, does his style of play suit the teams, how often does he get injured, is he only play well when his team are on top in a game, and anything else anyone else can think 🤔 of.

7.) 13 May 2021 11:20:02
Wages are going to be lower now. c.v. means less teams can fork out big money on wages going forward.

06 May 2021 11:03:04
McGuane has joined Oxford permanently.
Disappointed that he’s left without being given a chance.
I hope the likes of fornah, Johnson, Gabriel are given a chance and aren’t just sold.

1.) 06 May 2021 12:17:37
I live in South Oxon and my neighbour is an Oxford season ticket holder, he reckons Mcguane has been their best player this season until he got injured. Why wasn’t he given a chance to prove himself pre season with Forest? He can’t be any worse than the current crap we have in midfield.

2.) 06 May 2021 13:49:44
That's disappointing and just about sums us up 🎈.

01 May 2021 13:22:41
That must be about 10 penalties Grabban has missed for Forest.
He’s to tame, telegraphs where he’s going all the time.
Why has he not been taken off penalties Jesus Christ.

1.) 01 May 2021 14:30:52
If hughton was to come on here now he'd be thinking what have you got to do to please this lot. Two shots on target and there still moaning 😂.

09 Apr 2021 09:49:32
Samba, New GK

New RB (Christie permanently? ), Gabriel

Worrall, McKenna, Mbe Soh, Figs

Ribeiro, Blackett (maybe a new lb? )

Yates, Garner (loan), fornah, new CM (Alan Browne or Alex Mowatt), Cafu

B. Johnson, Krovinovic (permanently)

Mighten, Lolley, Ameobi, New winger (Siriki Dembele/ Jacob Murphy if Newcastle stay up)

New striker x2 (Clarke Harris + Jeohcott), Murray/ Taylor

Squad of 24

That would be a squad of players that can challenge for a top 6 place. A fairly young hungry squad that can improve, that can push the club further up the table. Yes we might not play that most exciting football under CH but if we can sign a handful of players he wants to sign in summer then I think we have a good chance at pushing for a top 6 place next season.

1.) 09 Apr 2021 11:58:41
Cant see Newcastle staying up. If were moving forward. And i really hate to say this. I think lolleys had his day. as for cafu 👎 grabban will stay. i'm sure Taylors had a big fall out with hughton so probably leave. Ribs will probably leave. As for worral he will balance the books will obviously want to better himself and i personally think he hates hughtons football.

2.) 09 Apr 2021 12:10:41
N R that squad sounds good too me, not sure we’ll be able to get Garner back unfortunately, not sure Figs will want to stay, but that sounds a good build block, hopefully kick on from there 👍.

3.) 11 Apr 2021 15:03:33
Looks like i'm wrong about Newcastle.

Taylor is 30 or 31 and wanted a good payday. He’s a decent striker but nothing more.
Signing a 25 year old shows ambition imo as he’ll want to prove himself at championship level. For the right price could be a great bit of business.

Get rid of houghton. My pick would be Neil Critchley, he’s doing very well with Blackpool at the moment and has brought on a couple of youngsters including our very own Jordan Gabriel.
He worked as under 23 manager at Liverpool, so will have learnt a lot from Jurgen Klopp. Looks to play good football!
He’d be my pick.

He’s 20 I believe and has been on loan at frieburg this season. But apart from that I don’t know if he’s any good.
If he’s from Olympiakos then probably not.

Nothing wrong with that, I hope he’s hungry to improve and impress. Adds youth, something we’ve all been calling out for. Obviously he has technical ability or he wouldn’t be a United player.
Could be an astute signing if he puts the work in.

I have no problem signing older players if they are able to offer something to the team.
Clucas would be a decent bit of business. He capable of playing a few different positions so would be a good option on the bench.
The notion of 30y/ o being past it is ridiculous. There are so many players well into their 30’s who are performing well.
Look at Milner at Liverpool, he’s still a very good player and he’s like 35? (Used as an example because of his verstalitily, like Clucas)

It’s the mindset that has to be right. If you don’t have the mindset to want to perform and achieve something as part of a team then no thank you. Age doesn’t matter if you’re still up for a challenge.

I don’t know whether Clucas is just wanting a pay day or if he’s genuinely up for a challenge and wants to give 100%, if it’s the latter in all for signing him. He’s a decent player.

Strongest for me has to be Jack Grealish, no keen on him as a person. But as a footballer he’s simply unbelievable, he’s ability in the ball is probably the best in the squad. He wins free kicks and we can be dangerous from free kicks and set pieces.

Weakness is Southgate, I do not rate him one bit as a manager. He doesn’t know his best 11 and I feel he has a lot of ‘favourites’ in the squad, which I don’t agree with.
If I was picking on a player I would agree with Pickford, I’d start one of the other 2. I’d rather have a goalkeeper that puts goalkeeping first rather than having a great distributor. I think Johnstone and Henderson are better goalkeepers.

3-4-3/ 5-2-3
James/ Trent (injured now) Walker Stones Maguire Shaw
Henderson/ Rice Mount
Sancho/ Foden Kane Grealish.

I thought it was a two-year deal I seem to recall him mentioning that in his first interview.
Whatever happens managers, players etc. I’ll support the team and wish them well. And I will almost certainly have my fingers crossed that we have a good season next year.

Good idea to go into a season without a good goalkeeper!

But that looks good to me, think the club needs a massive clear out.
