Is Hughton out of contract in June or not?

From what I have heard, but am not certain of, Hughton only got a one-year deal. He has now met with Marinakis and co. but we still haven't had any news that Hughton has a one-year extension.

If I were Marinakis I would give Hughton a 3-month extension with that automatically extended to a year if we are within 6 points of the play-offs by Christmas. If not then curtains?

Call it the Hughton "Santa" Clause!

I thought it was a two-year deal I seem to recall him mentioning that in his first interview.
Whatever happens managers, players etc. I’ll support the team and wish them well. And I will almost certainly have my fingers crossed that we have a good season next year.

NR we all want Forest to do well and will be willing and cheering them on but the manager will have no excuses from now should things not work out.

If its a year or six months its too long for me and i fully expect him to fail and be replaced before the January window, his type of football has had its day and the clingons are hanging by athread that he can do what he did at Newcastle and Brighton, to me he failed miserably last season and i see no reason to keep him.
