Brentford want Worrall and Blackpool want to sign Gabriel in quote a cut price deal!

Both good young players if Dino Saur allows them to leave it will go to show his lack of ambition for our club.

15m for Worrall minimum and 5m for Jordan Gabriel imo, we are being linked with Clucas and Joe Piggot from Wimbledon hardly stellar signings!

I don't think players want to come to us anymore as they know our style of play and inflexibility when it comes to changing things

Dino Saur out now please Chris Wilder in and give HIM some money to spend

COYR!

Keep the faith in Chris Houghton a good manager doesn’t become a bad manager in one season remember they wasn’t his players and had to do the best with the drivel at his disposer.
This is to all the Forest faithful keep cool the good players will start coming in within the next couple of weeks or so.
Chris did his best with a side of mainly average players give CH his chance to build his team fellow reds.

2.) 27 Jun 2021 14:34:24
Damson i'll have 5 pints of what you've been drinking please!

Not a prayer of doing anything with this fossil in charge

wait for it Piggot will be his first signing and hopefully his last!

3.) 27 Jun 2021 15:01:34
If the club finances say we have to sell to balance the books, then it don't matter what the manager says. Can't blame Hughton if Worrall is sold, he's already stated he wants to keep him. It's all to do with championship clubs paying wages with money they don't have.

4.) 27 Jun 2021 16:39:59
Absolutely right Damsonred. Say no more! Let's wait and se e and analyse after the transfers have been concluded Anythin else is speculation.

5.) 28 Jun 2021 08:16:45
I’m with Munmad, HUGHTON OUT! I’ve seen enough and heard enough of his tripe.

23 Apr 2021 10:34:21
If the club sell Brennan Johnson to Leeds for 10m it would be a travesty for the fans and show up the lack of ambition and direction at our club!

Hands off one of our prize assets DIRTY LEEDS.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 23 Apr 2021 10:53:38
He has pace, scores goals, and creates chances for others to score.

Everything the manager hates.

2.) 23 Apr 2021 13:18:08
Get rid of houghton. My pick would be Neil Critchley, he’s doing very well with Blackpool at the moment and has brought on a couple of youngsters including our very own Jordan Gabriel.
He worked as under 23 manager at Liverpool, so will have learnt a lot from Jurgen Klopp. Looks to play good football!
He’d be my pick.

3.) 23 Apr 2021 16:15:56
How hypocritical we fans can be. If we were after a young rising star from a lower club that would be fine BUT if a premier club is willing to offer our price (and rightly you can question the value) then we are up in arms. I don’t want Johnson to leave us but accept the commercial reality plus taking into account what Brennan wants. If you were offered a job probably 5 or 10 times your current one wouldn’t you be interested?!
I would rather lose Worrall due to his age and I suspect his desire for progress and see Johnson with us at least for one season - or more if we get promoted next year! But let’s get real.

4.) 23 Apr 2021 17:23:02
You make it sound so simple RedLincs.

As fans we want the club to make the team as strong as possible, by bringing in a rising star from a lower club and we fans thought he would strengthen the team off course we would have no problem with that.

You could argue that Johnson for his loan club Lincoln, all be it they are down a league from ourselves but both teams are opposite ends of their league it does not put much between us, Johnson has been far better than any of our players.

If Johnson wanted to go to a PL club for the money i would have no problem with that but i would think that would be the end of his development if he does not get to play for them in the PL.

As for the commercial side of it, get rid of Arter's, Bong's, Blackett 's, Colback's, Christie's, Dawson's, Freeman's, Jenkinson' s, Knockeart's, and Krovinovic's, wages off the books then there would be no need to sell Johnson, Worrall, or Mighten if they wanted to stay.

5.) 23 Apr 2021 17:32:19
If we transfer Johnson I will support DCFC!!!!!

6.) 23 Apr 2021 23:43:55
Bye then Redexile.

7.) 24 Apr 2021 08:55:57
Brennans done well at Lincoln we've had other young players that have done well at Lincoln and come back to forest and never really given a fare crack at the whip my concern is same that happened with walker he'll come into a struggling forest team and will end up being moved on.

8.) 24 Apr 2021 09:42:09
With the way the vast majority of our players have done this term as a minimum Johnson can do no worse.

My main concern is the manager we have now does not have a clue how to get the best out of Johnson.

Has Hughton been sacked?

MUNMAD7980

1.) 21 Mar 2021 14:19:50
What makes you say that MUNMAD.

2.) 21 Mar 2021 15:00:02
What’s the weather like?

3.) 21 Mar 2021 18:32:01
Hughton? Sack? Team who finished one point outside play-offs to nowhere? Hmmmm?

No, let's stick with boring and no hope of promotion shall we?

4.) 22 Mar 2021 08:40:23
Well we weren't one point outside play-offs when he took over, hardly his fault but you blame away:)

5.) 22 Mar 2021 11:37:07
Ginger it does not matter if you want the manager to stay, or to go, i can see good reasoning behind both cases.

RedCyclists point about Forest losing out on the play offs is a fact.

The club decided to stick with the manager that achieved that, that was commendable.

Some new players were brought in which in theory means the club strengthened the team.

The manager with most of the original team that he had gotten to within a point of the play offs, and with the new players for some reason lost the first five games.

The club then brought in a proven manager at Championship level having gotten at least two clubs promoted from the Championship.

The new manager has had thirty three league games, and some more players to improve the team yet he still has Forest near the relegation places.

I think Forest will be safe from relegation but i think it is fair to say with all of the above being taken into consideration Forest should be higher than they are, even if you did not expect them to be in the play offs.

You can blame the owner, and those he has employed, which is only fair but in order to do that you have to say something negative, which you do not like to see.

The manager though has to take some of the blame for not having gotten the squad to do better than they have so far.

6.) 22 Mar 2021 15:15:24
I'll make a prediction Ginger. If he is sacked the team will do better and be more entertaining. Young players will get more game time.

I could be wrong. However, the evidence is that this manager (or his system and training methods) is not getting enough from the players and is doing worse than last season.

Some fans would take boring football if we were actually contenders. We aren't. We have made a few poor recruitment choices. I'd argue a lot of the errors were signing too many players who haven't played much football last season. We all know if you aren't match hardened then you are likely to take time to get fit and may get injured and be out. Think Artur, Colback, Freeman. Three decent players who have played little footy last season and are injured constantly and weren't ready for the new season.

Having said that the boss has had little impact apart from developing a player for Man United who may now not lend him to us next season as he is potentially ready to play at a higher level. What else has Hughton achieved apart from boring us to death and playing loan-players and blocking the progress of our home-grown players?

We should have recalled Brennan Johnson and played Mighten and him regularly to assess their ability AT THIS LEVEL and prepare them for the next season. Instead, we play Krovinovic and Fatty Freeman when we could have young hungry players learning to compete at this level. Yes they would have made mistakes but we won't go down or up this season. You learn from mistakes not from sitting on the bench or playing in a division below your level (in the case or Jordan Gabriel and Brennan Johnson) .

I hate changing bosses a lot. But no progress is pointless. I reckon the owner will be considering making a change if there is no improvement very soon!

7.) 22 Mar 2021 15:36:58
Oh, and I didn't even mention Mbe Soh! He could be getting used to English Championship level. Instead, he is bench warming even when Worrall or McKenna are out injured.

And Taylor has been treated appallingly. Grabban has been next to useless and the boss started with a 37-year-old twice a week ahead of Taylor. That is how to completely destroy a player's confidence.

Bad management? You tell me!

8.) 24 Mar 2021 10:07:39
Red cyclist i hear your point re taylor etc. And i totally agree with your sentiments. But let's look closely at why hughton plays certsin players. When he was brought in the club were in freefall. A huge squad where you could hardly see the wood from the trees. Firstly he had to halt the slide, in any fashion. He had to get the confidence back as this slide started around the c.v. time. Hit by continuing injuries another slide emerged after the initial burst of positvity. We learned of discontent and near anarchy in the squad. So in hughtons self defence he had to pick players on trust, not so much ability or past glories it had to be players he could put faith in. Style and flair would maybe sacrificied for a player that would listen and put in a shift. This largely has worked and given us hope of staying in this league. Lyle Taylor aside is a mysyery. Maybe it was his voice against the awful knee that has backfired but it shouldnt. At present i would have him in from the start and mighten too. Their time will come of that i am sure, as soon as survival is acheived. We could try and play like wycombe but a balance has to be struck.

9.) 24 Mar 2021 19:30:04
5 games into a season isnot freefall.
Plenty of time to have changed things you just don't get or understand hughton the brand.

02 Mar 2021 21:50:16
Honestly can't see us getting another point in March that was awful tonight

Play like that against Watford Reading Norwich Brentford and Cardiff we will get mullered

Tonight was our opportunity to put some distance between us and relegation!

I think now we are bang back in it.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 03 Mar 2021 19:41:25
I believe your wrong munmad think we’ll take at least four points from next five games .

29 Jan 2021 12:11:53
The madness continues Swann to Ipswich on loan Arter who's just unpacked his case told he can leave before Monday WHAT A SHAMBLES😡😡😡.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 29 Jan 2021 12:24:50
Arter should have done better if he wanted to stay any longer.

I do agree about Swann though.

2.) 29 Jan 2021 12:59:22
Munmad there is poison in the camp. Arter has history and hughton has had enough of the negativity in the camp, just my thoughts so i think its no more mr nice guy.

3.) 29 Jan 2021 14:34:32
Arter has been truly woeful, every tackle he puts in looks a booking. Freeman looks two stone overweight. Figuredo should be moved on dire is been polite!

4.) 29 Jan 2021 14:59:14
The madness was signing all these over 30s players in the summer, its refreshing that CH is trying to put that right and get rid of some, not many on this site would disagree with getting rid of Arter. Swan is different, however look what a good loan has done for Brennan and from what I have seen of Swan he looks a good one for the future but is not screaming to me play me I am ready for major involvement.

Bloated asking prices for average players had got to stop

U23s are the way forward utilise the youth and blood them in the 1st team ok they may need a season to bed in but if we can't finish above Blackpool Hull and Peterborough then we deserve to be in league 1

Horvtch

Mbe SOh
Worrall
McKenna

Gabriel
Cafu
Yates
Richardson/ LWB

Johnson
Taylor/ Grabban
Mighten

Not a bad side in my opinion Left side a problem though and need a young striker

With Lolley Samba Figeredo Colback Fornah Konate Swann Carvalho and Fernandes we have the nucleus of a good side now

We don't need to spend fortunes.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 23 Jul 2021 12:54:33
I agree . There is ridiculous money being asked for players . We are not a club currently who will attract the best players . So let’s utilise what we have got.

2.) 23 Jul 2021 14:01:55
I can't wait to see how shrek handles the cheating sheep this season. he's already said if they drop down he's off 😂 loyalty there then. Wouldn't surprise me if they get a handout from lottery funds. (Or that's what they will say happened) go to jockland for a left back one thing the jocks have got is fight and spirit 👍 McKenna done good for us.

3.) 23 Jul 2021 16:50:24
I can’t see him going 343. It’s a good formation but I still think our best formation is still 4231

Samba
Preston Worrall McKenna LB
Yates Colback
Lolley Johnson Mighten
Taylor

I also think we could have Johnson or Mighten up top too.

22 Jul 2021 15:18:42
300k for Jordan Gabriel is an insult do they think we are a registered charity, a 22yr old good prospect is 750k of any bodies money

We need to get this Zian Fleming deal done looks like a hell of a player to me as it grieves me to say it I don't think Carvalho will cut the mustard and is another Zac Clough.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 22 Jul 2021 18:11:09
I would have thought Gabriel was worth anything between 1 and 2 million, maybe the mirror has left a zero off forests asking price surly a mistake isn’t it!

2.) 22 Jul 2021 21:13:23
How is he worth that damson?

3.) 23 Jul 2021 00:56:03
How is he not worth a million!

20 Jul 2021 16:03:03
Sell Worrall for 12m and buy a left back and 2 strikers that's my thoughts

We are blessed with CBs Mbe Soh Figs Mc Kenna Fernandes and Blackett

No recognised left back as usual and desperate for at least one preferably 2 strikers love to see Yates and Sulenovic come in to support Grabban

Da Costa and Taylor not up to it imo.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 20 Jul 2021 20:41:23
Mbe soh has shown nothing to suggest he’s a replacement. For worrall I personally think that’d be suicide. Blackett is crap and so is figs.

2.) 20 Jul 2021 22:07:29
I’m with you regards Taylor and Da Costa.

3.) 20 Jul 2021 23:53:17
Sell sell sell?
Great if you spend wisely?
Not happend yet.
We sell wisely but spend badly.

19 Jul 2021 17:32:18
Team to play Coventry if no new signings

Horvtych

Mbe Soh
Worrall
McKenna

Gabriel
Konate
Fornah
Blackett

Johnson
Grabban
Mighten

Subs Samba Lolley Colback Figs Swann Cafu Yates

Not a bad side in my opinion.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 19 Jul 2021 18:05:27
I thought Blackett to be a left back, therefore you would be affecting the balance of the team playing him in midfield.

I would have Konate and Fornah as late subs.

2.) 19 Jul 2021 18:49:02
Leg wingback.

3.) 19 Jul 2021 19:01:06
Jeepers MUNMAD! Your persistence is commendable but there will be no formation of that kind.

4.) 19 Jul 2021 22:11:15
MUNMAD just glad you won't be picking the team, not enough experience , Blackett is with the bomb squad playing for the under 23's along with Jenkinson Bong and Arter and hopefully we will move them on. Yates will be a certainty alongside another DM probably passback unless we get someone else in and Cafu will probably start as well in front of those two, CH will not change his style of play his priority at the moment will a left back before a striker IMO.

5.) 19 Jul 2021 22:20:22
Bang on 2 star not a chance of a formation change.

19 Jul 2021 17:26:22
Krovinovic gone or Hadjuk Split good I say no better than Carvalho and not as good as Brennan Johnson IMO

Get Sulenovic Zian Fleming and Zinckernagel plus a left back and another striker job done in my opinion

Lolley and Colback could have apart to play along with Grabban if they can get and stay fit

Mighten Konate Fornah Fernandez and Gabriel are looking good I think if we adopt a 4-3-3 or 3-4-3 attacking formation this season we could be playoff contenders.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 19 Jul 2021 22:22:53
