Nottingham Forests unsung heroes.
I'd like you all to reminisce and go back to the days of Championship and League One football, even the early years of the Premier League or the old Division One. Think about those players we had short term, on loan or only stuck around for one or two seasons. Of those think about the ones who had an impact, purple patch or scored a major goal for us at the time.
I'm going for: Philip Aksel Frigast Zinckernagel, loaned from Watford and had a major impact on our promotion season.

After years of watching Larry DTP and,to a lesser degree, Skegs effectively bullying people on this site (and watching so many other posters leaving the site because of it) I decided to get my own back. It is satisfying to see that they don't like the taste of their own medicine they give out so freely to others.

I sent out a post a couple of days ago to gauge their real feelings about Forest with the scenario that they were joint owners of our club. The replies told their own story. Not one of the 3 posted anything to show that they truly care about our club and reflected my suspicion that they are just on this site to ridicule others with their belief that their harsh comments are construed as 'humour'.

Larry's comments in particular hit me. I must admit that at first I interpreted these as a side-swipe at me and at disabled people in general. I then re-read his comments and thought they could be construed in two ways. I saw an opportunity to exploit the situation and, being ex Intelligence Corps, I took it to hopefully teach the bullies a lesson.

I then messaged Stokey to let him know that I was about to play 'mind games' with the 3 of you.

After experiencing his particularly nasty online bullying over the years, it was satisfying to see Larry show his true character and s*** his pants when I confronted him with a perceived 'disabled card'.

No, this is not the 'Stokey and Lego Show'. This is a reflection of posters who have become tired of the years reading your online bullying.

It's noticeable that threads on calling each other are generally longer than posts on Forest and football in general, until last Saturday when there was a lot of excellent opinions on Forest, and when I looked on Sunday morning posters was still sending in the early hours and over night, it was good to see but by Monday it was back to same so same so!.

Sorry Lego but i really don't know what you are waffling on about! The three mentioned in your rant have been at this for years and years, sometimes they are hilarious, especially the Skegness Massive and years ago i used to think that DTP ( FF79 ) was a right miserable git but he really isn't. Jay and Larry ( Balloons ) love a wind up. It's a banter site my friend and you shouldn't let things get to you or they will just reel you in.

To call them bullies is well out of order because all three of them are definitely not bullies. And to play the "disabled card” especially as you are wheel chair bound yourself is not a good move! Other disabled people out there would find this comment unacceptable. Have a think before you post/reply/react. There are other far worse things going off in this world to put this pettiness into perspective.

An excellent and intelligent post Lego, full of indisputable home truths.
I'm aware of at least 3 infrequent posters on here who, having made some interesting and knowledgeable points, were suddenly, without any provocation whatsoever, attacked on a personal level by the usual suspects. No refutation or reasoned argument, just dismissive abuse. It's no wonder they don't return.

If you need more proof, yesterday evening provided classic examples.
Firstly Carlo provided a very witty Dickensian post about our club's situation. I made a light hearted contribution in the same vein. Within a few minutes there was DTPs fragile ego manifesting itself with juvenile remarks about " private jokes” and "the laughing policeman”.

Despite my encouraging reply that this wasn't a trap and he should feel free to contribute.
Likewise Robbo and Agen made very good and knowledgeable posts about our Academy. I replied constructively, pointing out that 5 changes of manager and the unstable ownership model at our club doesn't help Academy development. I quoted Iniesta at Barcelona.

Again, a tirade, this time much more incoherent arrives, something about "Marinkinakos out” and " King Andy Burnham "
I was going to quote an example of about stability encouraging Academy development by citing Fergusons reign at Man Utd and the golden generation of Beckham, Scholes, Butt, the Neville's, Giggs etc but, you know what? I couldn't be arsed.

There must be loads of potential contributors who feel the same.
I note this morning that DTP was still blindly swinging and missing whilst burning the midnight oil long after killing the thread.

I have tried to clear the air by offering a face to face, man to man meeting with DTP and anyone else but again, to cover lack of bottle and cowardice, met with bullying remarks based on homophobia.

It goes without saying that replying like for like just provokes more of the same and demands for apology, ending ( laughably) with RRH flouncing off like a spoilt brat and refusing to speak.
It's pathetic. Like I said, bald men arguing over a comb. Grown men behaving like children. Then hiding behind their screens.
It's apparently " only banter” when they say it is.

It's water off a ducks back to me. I'll keep making the 3 stooges angry and looking daft. But many posters, like me last night, just get bored and don't bother. Even our entirely reasonable and wise Ed's are clearly fed up with it.

By the way, DTP, talking about combs. who's the man with the " dodgy haircut "?
Do you think 5 managers in a year is conducive to team performance?
Do you think the football we play is enjoyable to watch?
Are "we all” still living the Mr M / Glasner dream?

At the end of last season Forest Fans had High Expectations but our Mutual Friend decided to make the CG Bleak House ,now the time has come for Oliver to stick or Twist before the Hard Times becomes a reality, all we seem to get is lots of Bah Humbug as we get towards Christmas with Vitors Ghost still continuing to visit ,will he change our own Scroge,s character and make him more pleasant and generous and not so miserable.
