Milosevic has left . By " mutual consent " which generally means paid off.
Shame in a way because I thought he looked a player but there have been rumours of discipline issues and he has certainly been frozen out.

Benalouane next. All MONs signings will go: must be a sign.

28 Oct 2019 19:12:07
GIVE WAY must be a sign aswell mate.
😉😉😉.

28 Oct 2019 22:28:50
Wont be beneloun he signed a contract extension in the summer.

29 Oct 2019 09:16:42
Best centre half stopper we had. Prefer him in front of Benalouane, Figs and Rodriguez, plus should be first in to replace Dawson and Worrall when he wobbles!

28 Oct 2019 12:58:52
Liam Sole has signed a temporary contract for our U23 side. He looks a good prospect.

28 Oct 2019 18:30:22
How long is temporary?

28 Oct 2019 19:20:57
Does it matter as long as he's our Sole.

29 Oct 2019 05:02:12
Sgetty temporary could mean a couple of months which effectively is a waste of time, if we really rated him it would not be temporary.

29 Oct 2019 13:33:18
Sgetty- It wasn’t wasted on everybody 🤣.

30 Oct 2019 22:30:44
Thanks pal.

26 Oct 2019 11:55:54
Looks like it's no game today pitch inspection at 12 and still raining.

Mark Bowen brought his water-wings.

27 Oct 2019 22:04:19
Heard a man talking today about our game that was called off due to waterlogging he said why didn't we ask to borrow the water hog from notts cricket club he said it would mop up the pitch in two hours any thoughts on that?

28 Oct 2019 23:01:53
Water table? 🤔🤔🤔.

24 Oct 2019 08:58:29
For me once again the manager hugely responsible for this result in his team selection, Silva and carvallho together against a physical strong championship team, I said pre season if we played them together championship teams would run straight through us, and that's what happened 1st half, Silva neat and tidy nothing more, carvallho for me, a little boy lost, cash scored a great goal, but he owed us that for pulling out of a tackle, to hand them possession for their 2nd, all very familiar, we lose Dawson and start shipping goals and losing games, very disappointing,

24 Oct 2019 09:17:28
Yes this happened last season when Dawson was injured thank good ness we have Samba. If we don’t move higher in the table ie top 4 it will be harder to attract a good striker in January if that’s what we need. Psychology is important . Watson was slated last season now or at least was a hero - what changed! Carvalho is bereft of confidence? Perhaps a time in the reserves would help? Lolley is not playing like he can either. So the manager does not drop them after one gain as that would psychologically be bad . Vis a vis Bostock who had a great game in the cup against Derby but then apparently a bad game against Wigan. I think I would have chosen him last night rather than Carvalho. However Yates I think played well. Dilemmas for SL but a win against Reading is important to move up the league but psychologically a priority for the players.

24 Oct 2019 10:07:25
So frustrating that if we had won last night and sunday we would have been 2 points clear at the top. If we want to play with the big boys we have got to control games. Too many times this season we've been on the back foot the whole match and nicked a point or a win. If our luck has run out we need to grow some balls and start taking games to teams.

24 Oct 2019 21:51:04
Lamouchi has got it right for the most part with his team selection and the use of subs, think he got it wrong at Wigan and I'd assume he knows that, last night my only concern was seeing Silva and carvalho in the team together as my opinion has always been that they can't play together and it leaves Watson exposed and having to do the job of sow aswell and his legs won't take that, Yates has to come in to give us the legs we need in midfield while sow is out, but to be fair to Lamouchi Yates has been out for a few months and maybe he wants to bring him along slowly to avoid further injury although we have a huge squad some players aren't allowed to be picked so Lamouchi put put a more attacking side out on paper and if your honest what side can any of put out from the squad at the moment that will improve us?
Samba, grabban, cash, Watson and worrall are fixtures and pick themselves and we know although not playing well lolley will play the rest is a lottery until sow semedo and dawson are fit again even jenkinson gives us another option of playing cash on the wing, all a bit unfortunate with the injuries.

24 Oct 2019 08:17:54
When does our manager SL come under pressure regarding his job.?

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Oct 2019 10:41:38
Usually when people start making daft comments like that.

24 Oct 2019 15:17:10
N2 Have you not learned the routine yet? New manager takes charge 1, inconsistent form 2 Not in the top six middle of December 3, Manager sack shortly after 4.

19 Oct 2019 20:08:18
We apparently tried to sign dwight Gayle in the summer and will go back for him in January, now that would be the icing on the cake for me.

Agree3 Disagree0

19 Oct 2019 20:41:17
So says the unathletic Taylor from the Athletic, if true we, did not try hard enough but he could make the difference between play offs and automatic promotion

20 Oct 2019 00:37:47
Three points tomorrow at the dw would be the icing on the cake, good weekend, England beat the Aussies, now we need three points to keep up our promotion push.

20 Oct 2019 08:13:03
Me too ff said it all the way through pre season and still saying it. The man is full of goals at this level.

20 Oct 2019 11:03:53
Gayles ability is not in doubt, but the club having tried to sign him is for me. If the club tried to sign him anything that stood in the way in the summer will still stand in the way in January. If Forest really were serious about getting him they would have thrown everything at all parties concerned to make sure they got him, they did not get him, so why will January be any different?

20 Oct 2019 13:07:37
Because they didn't expect to be sitting joint top of the league so maybe more money is available now to push on.

20 Oct 2019 13:21:22
You could be right, but in a joke SL said he was told by our owner, get promoted or i will kill you, if you want promotion and you chase someone like Gayle you go all out, not half hearted.

20 Oct 2019 22:14:11
Are you or real? Is there any difference between half hearted or flat out for a deal? Unbelievable! If we offered a good deal we could offer two thirds now and he would jump at the deal with a few clauses in places for next season- keep it real guys for goodness sake.

21 Oct 2019 05:28:50
If we offered a good deal he would jump at the deal, your words 2tone, so did we not offer him a good deal last time? Like i said, either we did not chase him in the summer, or the deal was not good enough for Gayle. If we were to offer a good enough in January for him to take it then that should have happened in the summer.

21 Oct 2019 12:32:24
Maybe it was the fee we could not agree with Newcastle?

21 Oct 2019 12:33:02
Wtw. We are a completely different proposition at the moment and Certain players will want to come to us if we are still in a strong play off position in January. We can offer more to the players now and would be far more attractive than we were pre season.

21 Oct 2019 12:36:25
And primarily the deals got to be good for Forest - if it doesn’t fit in with us I couldn’t care less if it’s not a good deal for Gayle.

21 Oct 2019 13:39:38
79 you may well be right, if that is the case do you think their price for the fee will be dropped in January.

2tone yes you are right that our position will help to attract some players, because we could get promoted, but we will not be able to pay them anymore than we could in the summer. I also agree any deal has suit Forest, but like i said in one of my posts i doubt the rumour is true, but he could make the difference between the play offs and automatic promotion.

21 Oct 2019 17:45:48
There could have been any number of reasons why the deal never happened, no point making it as black and white as "we offered our best deal, he rejected it so now itll never happen"

21 Oct 2019 18:17:30
RS, wtw seems to be saying the rumour is bs, and if the club did happen to make contact with him they did not offer all that they could, and should they go after try again in January they will they will need to offer him a better deal, if they do why did they not do that in the summer. Everyone is giving their opinion, who knows if anyone is right.

22 Oct 2019 20:36:58
Cannot see Gayle leaving the Barcodes as they need goals and Ashley will not be sanctioning big money signings in Jan. They will need him next year in the Championship?

22 Oct 2019 21:40:37
Paul Taylor said it, it must be the truth. Ha,ha,ha,ha.

18 Oct 2019 11:25:17
Belgian striker Hugo Cuypers 22 playing in French Division 2 being lined up as back -up for GrabOne in January.

18 Oct 2019 20:05:44
Another olympiacos player red?
Suppose we are bound to get one good one sooner or later.
Hope we go for a bit more quality than that.

19 Oct 2019 10:18:29
Looks good on the ball in and around the box.
Not like you to condemn a player before giving them a chance 79 lol
Just a rumour and your slating him 🤣.

19 Oct 2019 10:36:32
He looks pretty good to me.

19 Oct 2019 18:55:56
Not slating him red dog we just haven't had a decent player come from olympiacos and he's scoring in French second tier could be anything I'd just prefer a proven championship striker.

19 Oct 2019 19:58:39
We are doing what Watford did to go up. our link is Olympiacos where as Watford got their players from an Italian club.

19 Oct 2019 20:18:30
Watford got some good players from them we haven't had one yet.
We will go up but not with olympiacos players coming here.

19 Oct 2019 23:38:59
Thats not true. Boukalakis was decent.

20 Oct 2019 19:06:39
Was he really? 🤔.

15 Oct 2019 14:12:07
Liam Sole, a 19 year old, a free agent ex MK Dons player was a trialist for our under 23's, he was the star of the show. He is said to be quick, and has good feet, add that to another young player who played in the same game that we found in the French fifth tier we are thinking about signing shows the club are thinking about the future aswell as the here and now.
