Well look at the Hammers now, I wonder how they got a point! New manager? New confidence? New team ethic? Blimey Nuno, have you taken the City Ground spirit to the Capital City? I wondered where it had gone!

Nuno just instills a air of confidence, I bet it was appreciated by the players after Potter, our players will now have a team talk by Sir Les Patterson?.
30 Sep 2025 09:05:46
Our loss, West Ham's gain.
29 Sep 2025 14:48:18
Impostor-no-clue really needs a win this week before some tough premier league games. Whatever happens it has the feel of a relegation struggle this season sadly.

We’ve already surrendered 8 points we’d have hoped to have got - already up against it now.
29 Sep 2025 20:46:49
Yeah, may as well just accept Championship football next year now eh fellas.
F@cks sake, get a grip, it's hilarious.
29 Sep 2025 22:31:47
It's not about 'getting a grip' Ginger - it's all about accepting reality. We were poor under Nuno at the end of last season and equally unable to score in our pre-season games. And now, even with a new manager, things continue in a similar vein with no wins in 5 games.
Don't get me wrong - I've seen some great moments of our play under Ange. However, possession and shot stats don't equate to winning matches.
I remain optimistic for the time being but, deep down, doubtful.
29 Sep 2025 22:33:22
Well said Ginge ?.
29 Sep 2025 22:35:51
Nobody’s laughing.
29 Sep 2025 22:57:23
Nuno already making an impression at West Ham, just saying.
30 Sep 2025 23:34:30
Would imagine Marinakis makes a rather large impression wherever he sits??.
29 Sep 2025 13:07:25
Spoke to Surs and Arsenal fans on my recent holiday.
Spurs fans said Good luck with Ange
Arsenal fans said Glad to see the back of Edu.

29 Sep 2025 09:47:11
Chris Wood has been brilliant for us particularly last season but under this manager he looks like a fish out of water
His legs have gone and judging by the 2 sitters he missed on Saturday so has his confidence
He should be used as an impact sub last 20 mins imo both Jesus and Kalimuendo are in front of him to start now in the Premier league and in the Europa league.
Agree1
Disagree0
29 Sep 2025 10:37:52
Flog him to West Ham. He's had his Clive Allen season. It's over ?.
29 Sep 2025 10:47:42
Wood might have to make a choice between his International career and maintaining any chance of being first choice for Forest.
29 Sep 2025 11:59:39
No way kalimendo have you seen his 1st touch!
29 Sep 2025 12:20:57
Kalimuendo is crap based on his contribution so far - another Edu mistake. If Chris Wood cuts out the international trips to New Zealand he should be alright. But as you say needs to be used wisely.
29 Sep 2025 12:57:22
Just play to his strengths, he’ll still score.
Still got a couple of years PL football in him.
Being-in the right place very important to a striker, he’s still doing that.
29 Sep 2025 13:38:45
I agree Carlo.
29 Sep 2025 13:50:40
I think Woods will come good again.
29 Sep 2025 14:27:48
Yep munmad-that heavy summer break have completely destroyed Wood. Legs gone after a short summer break-god knows what he has been doing ??♂️?.
29 Sep 2025 14:31:09
Play to his strengths! He has a perfect cross, on his head from 3 yards out and misses the target.
Not a coincidence Elanga has gone and Wood doesn't look as dangerous, look at how many assists Elanga had.
29 Sep 2025 15:28:34
His legs haven’t gone, we play a system that doesn’t suit the person who got 20 goals last season. He’s a fish out of water but wouldn’t have been (granted for only one more season ) if we’d have left well alone. You know the more you unpick this mess, the more it looks what is, ego mania and abject stupidity.
Now we have no goals in the team and we can’t defend.
29 Sep 2025 15:42:10
Last season at one point I think he was the most prolific cf on a shots per goal basis in the prem. seen this season he 2nd on shots taken behind haaland but only got 2 goals
He'll be OK, be after getting 100 prem goals, last season a one off but still think he'll get double figures despite not playing as much.
29 Sep 2025 18:28:26
Kilamanjaro as got a first touch like a trampoline.
29 Sep 2025 19:51:11
Kali should be nowhere near the first team until he knows how to trap a ball.
His performance against Real Betis begged belief, him and the ball were like two same pole magnets repelling each other.
I hope he gets it together, but well off the pace right now, but now he knows what's expected.
29 Sep 2025 20:40:23
Ndoye could do with the same training as Kalimuendo on his first touch as well.
29 Sep 2025 21:25:08
What do you expect for 30 million each, you only get ball control now days for 50 million+ ??.

At the risk of this post getting me barred from the site I feel the need to write this on behalf of my friend Stokey. I hope that the duty Ed posts this under the banner of free speech and with the true spirit of this site.
I think that the vast majority of us miss Stokey's posts. I know that I've joked in the past about his long posts making my eyes bleed. However this man has a massive heart, superb intellect and a top sense of humour. I hit it off with Stokey straight away after meeting with him at the TBI.
Frankly, 'that night' between Ed001 and Stokey made me cringe. Whilst IMO Stokey's comments about Liverpool were very thought provoking - Ed001 totally over-reacted. I think this was based on Ed001's perception of the Police - of which Stokey spent a long career with. I don't think any poster on here should be victimised for their previous careers, let alone by Ed001.
Personally, I think that we should all put this down to a 'bad night' and move on. Life is too short Gents. An apology from both will allow normality to be restored and us all getting back to the main event - Forest.
{Ed001's Note - why would either need to apologise? It was a disagreement, and it was forgotten on my end. Just like I disagree with your appraisal but I don't want an apology from you for saying something I dislike. For me, it was over as soon as the thread ended.}

Ed001 - Thank you for posting this. I respect both you and Stokey BTW.
I guess the bottom line is that all of us respond differently to things as human beings. You may have forgotten about your disagreement with Stokey straight away, but maybe he didn't? I don't want to speak for the guy, but I can understand if he found your comments over-the-top and hurtful.
Neither myself nor Stokey are 'shrinking violets' BTW. We have both served this country in different ways and are both used to 'banter'. That evening, however, I think things went too far.
I've no idea if Stokey will re-join this site or not. I hope so.
{Ed001's Note - that is entirely up to him, either way I have no grudge against him and he wasn't banned or blocked.}
29 Sep 2025 06:36:35
Maybe he shouldn't be so sensitive. They're only words. I think there is a song in there somewhere ?.
29 Sep 2025 09:39:14
I find myself agreeing with you there Ravers, wonders will never cease ay?.
29 Sep 2025 11:06:14
Certainly missing his Monday review of the match. Gives me a better picture of the game than much of the media does. What does he make of 'Arms out Ange? ' MMmmnn!
29 Sep 2025 15:03:18
If he was a serving Police Officer I'm sure he's taken more verbal than us lot put together and should have skin as thick as Rhino ??

28 Sep 2025 19:09:13
Ok reds, I admit I was a little aggressive summing up. But you lot don't get the (let's say horrible to be nice) texts in there droves. I know, I know my choice and all that. Still. Could never worship a club more. Just hurts me. Looking through the years and the one foot forward 3 x steps back.
Just when I think. Yup this is it. Good foothold in the premier and my faith in the owner. Ask anyone who knows me. Apart from the yank, kids grandkids, and friends. I live forest. Ok now for me and I know he's been their 5 x minutes. But I just cannot fathom which direction we are going in attacking/ defensive. Both? You tell me.
All I see is two individuals. One the owner who we owe dearly to ok. And the other aussie rules football. Just frustrates me. And not just because of the mackems. all I want for the umpteenth time is watching players wanting to win for the badge. And fans. Just had everything in front of us for me, as they say. An easy recipe for success. And f. it up. Just my opinion FTID.

Couldn't agree more Bowie.
28 Sep 2025 21:08:09
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
28 Sep 2025 21:23:38
It's all a bit reminiscent of the O'Driscoll debacle in 2011 or 2012 (or whenever it was) in some ways. I just hope it doesn't turn out like it did.
28 Sep 2025 21:24:28
Your not wrong Bowie I've struggled to get my head around the poor show down at the city ground. The only thing that makes any sense is Mr. M. thinks it easier to win a cup and qualify for a European league that finish in the top four.
but the way we're going it could be championship football next season and no cup win. then it's a total failure. everything cooper and Nuno did would be for nothing, and that would be a slap in the fans' faces.
28 Sep 2025 21:39:37
Written with your usual passion as ever Bowie, which I love. I agree with you - at times I think Forest are their own worst enemy.
Stability; passion; pride in the badge; investment in our academy; a sustained, effective playing style; and (dare I say it) an owner who knows when his ego should be curtailed for the good of our Club. All things which, at the moment, seem to be sadly lacking.
I just hope Forest haven't fallen at the final hurdle.
29 Sep 2025 09:45:32
I have a feeling that if things don't improve by the end of October Mr M will be pulling the trigger again. I worry that where do we turn next? Marco Silva? Sean Dyche? Or even Brenda Rogers? Not exactly inspiring are they? (and yes i meant to write Brenda) ?.
29 Sep 2025 10:39:36
Your always aggressive Bowie it's in your nature ??.
29 Sep 2025 15:04:28
Brenda Roger's. there was a Brenda I went to school with at Frank Wheldon. Tasty ?.
29 Sep 2025 18:47:57
Ripley the mind boggles, question is how old is she now? Has she still got all her teeth? Can she walk unaided? And how many times does she needed that nappy changing a day? ??.
29 Sep 2025 18:49:22
And fook me Bowie, turn on Look North to chance the weather and have Blunderland rubbed in my face??.
29 Sep 2025 20:17:36
To answer your question!
Teeth. all there.
Nappy not needed.
Droopy puppy dog's ears. Unfortunately not as firm as they once were! ??????.
29 Sep 2025 22:34:47

28 Sep 2025 18:55:13
Jesus is our no 9
Hutchinson 11
Gibbs White 10
Anderson 8
Bakwa 7
Luis 6
Murrilo 5 when fit
Milenkovic 4
Williams 3
Aina 2 when fit
Sels 1
That is our Prem league side imo.

29 Sep 2025 08:06:05
Not keen on Gibbs-White's performances this season. I'd play Hutchinson as a number 10 and Hudson-Odoi on the wing.
29 Sep 2025 11:25:26
MGW wanted a move and was persuaded to stay, his life since then, a new baby, speeding tickets and being investigated for a unlicensed American pit bull?. Last season he had a couple of good games then gos missing next three, if Spurs come in for him again in January, let him go.
28 Sep 2025 17:54:44
Can you see Ange picking that team Munmad. Not a chance he wouldn't know his best team if it was handed to him on a plate.
We are now in the bottom 4 the downward spiral is beginning. Can anybody see this coach dragging us away from the bottom not a chance.
We should have played our strongest possible 11 yesterday.
When Sunderland saw that team sheet they must have thought there Christmas's had all come at once.
Some of those who played yesterday are just no up to it. Many millions wasted. Marinaskas and Edu must take all the blame for the mess we find ourselves in. Which one of those two was responsible for this coach we will never know.
Maranikas will never come out and tell the fans what the bloody hell
Is going on, we've taken an almighty step backwards.

28 Sep 2025 15:32:10
If West Ham get a Nuno bounce and beat Everton tomorrow, we are in a relegation spot.
Europe irrelevant if relegation happens.
Newcastle away, Chelsea at home, are our next two. Bournemouth, Leeds and Liverpool after. Somehow AP needs to turn this ship around ASAP otherwise we sink into the Championship. Then we sack AP and appoint SC.
Agree5
Disagree0
28 Sep 2025 16:17:15
SC is learning his trade in another country, I can not see him coming back, why would he. If Marinakis has any sense he would adapt the systems that Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford have, where the coach is a cog in the bigger wheel, and when they leave an appointment is made smoothly so there's no disruption. We employ someone with a massive chip on his shoulder, and wants to change the tactics so we have loads of possession but does nothing with it!, last season we used to pick them sort of teams off.
28 Sep 2025 17:12:04
Probably will have hit Rock bottom before we wake up and smell the coffee.
28 Sep 2025 17:32:12
While I may agree with it's a complete change of style, we don't pick teams off who sit back against us. We got one point from our last four home games last season. This season we had a good half vs Brentford, West Ham and S'land get players behind the ball and we struggle again. We did have enough opportunities yesterday though, to get something from the game.
28 Sep 2025 18:24:47
Sunderland did a job on us yesterday that is for sure, in the second half they had a flat back line of five. when forest woke up to the fact that they were actually a goal down and started to put pressure on them, Sunderland just put another player in the back line playing six. Forest couldn't handle it. our shooting was dire to say the least and when we did put a shot through their keeper handled it without breaking sweat. Had DTP been on the site he'd say it's the modern way! And he would be right.
28 Sep 2025 13:35:02
This is our best 11 when all fit imo and our best formation. 4-3-3
Sels
Aina
Milenkovic
Murrilo
Williams
Luis
Anderson
Ndoye
Bakwa
Jesus
Hutchinson.

28 Sep 2025 14:08:42
Not bad MUNMAD but forget Ndoye - he's not up to it yet. Maybe when he's put some more hard work in training, upped his intensity levels and taken a reality check. He's nowhere near MGW even when MGW is not at his best at the moment. He's being selected purely on the basis that he's score a goal (a good header I'll grant him that)
28 Sep 2025 15:00:08
Aina not available. Zinchenko not good enough hopefully Murrilo back soon Give Abbot a go at FB, Luiz a must when fit Anderson in the no 10 and Hutchinson in in for a long run but whoever plays they have to stop running around like headless chicken's.
28 Sep 2025 16:23:13
When we was going after Luiz I posted I hope due diligence was done, unfortunately Marinakis got involved and done another Lingard purchase at any cost, hope he's not another sick note because when he plays, we are a lot better.
