They will never get to school the next day walking backwards & sideways. ?
03 Jul 2026 05:40:38
Have to say that's quite funny, Larry!

02 Jul 2026 19:50:52
Yes, good business, but we need another. Hopefully, when Glasner gets in, it will be one of his priorities.
02 Jul 2026 19:54:27
Henderson, hopefully.
02 Jul 2026 20:35:11
Would be nice to see Henderson back, like I said last night, can't see him playing second fiddle to Sels. Would be good competition, both of them would have to up their game.
02 Jul 2026 22:12:33
Where's Winter gone? He must be doing second fix on his doll's house. And, Stokeys has gone quiet, maybe he's busy with Tinkerbell. So all quiet on the Western Front for a bit. ?
02 Jul 2026 23:01:04
It's summer, Skeggs, heatwave on the way.
Deckchairs out. ???
02 Jul 2026 23:08:22
So what you saying, dtp. He melted. ???
02 Jul 2026 23:20:12
Hopefully Skeggs. ??
02 Jul 2026 23:23:31
He is a sucker after all. ??
03 Jul 2026 08:46:23
Sucker? Coming from the guy who services the away end. ??
03 Jul 2026 08:50:37
And, for context, DTP, you really should read before posting, as those antics of yours are often written all over a certain section of the site. ??
03 Jul 2026 09:08:24
Skegs, I'm having problems with the toilet seat, heard you are the expert in all things bog related, could you pop round? ?
03 Jul 2026 11:09:24
Anyway, as suggested above, it's summer, and I have better things to do with my time talking with dim individuals. Half of whom really have nothing nice to say about their new little chum. If only he knew half the stuff you've said about him in the past. At least I don't try and hide the fact I detest him. ?
03 Jul 2026 11:13:37
Than talking to... See, now I'm even writing like one of you. ?
03 Jul 2026 12:45:02
Dtp and I have always been good buddies. We've never had a bad word to say about each other, so I don't know what you're talking about, Rrh. ???
03 Jul 2026 12:51:09
Bye winter. ?
03 Jul 2026 12:52:38
Yeah, right, what did your good buddy say about two tier posting? Or maybe it was about two faces. ??
03 Jul 2026 12:59:06
I'm not going anywhere, DTP. Sorry to ? on your parade. ?
03 Jul 2026 13:11:28
That's a bit harsh, Winter. Dtp, Skegs & me are like the 3 musketeers. All for one, one for all. ??
03 Jul 2026 13:46:21
Larry, ? you weren't the one I tarred with the two face brush btw. Just makes me laugh on here. Accusations of two tier posting, then you get people jumping on the bandwagon, the same people, then side with one and another, when, a week before, all they did was slag the other off.
One thing I love about the beaches on the East Coast is you don't need a fishing rod; just wait until the tide comes in. You get flotsam, jetsam, sewage, pond scum and toilet seats. ????
03 Jul 2026 14:02:03
Rrh, you're ok dishing it, but you can't take it back. ???
03 Jul 2026 14:14:40
And you worked that out all on your own, or is your chum sat on your knee, whispering in your ear? ? ?
03 Jul 2026 15:30:58
I thought you had better things to do winter?
Billy, no mates, heh. ????
03 Jul 2026 18:11:55
Oops, tides coming in again. ? ? ?

What other club would dispose of a manager the way Maranakis did?
Don't tell me "That's business"?
Cold, calculated and disgusting.
02 Jul 2026 13:28:17
I thought it was a great way to email him at home, so he hasn't got to face people, and it gives him the night to have a good cry to himself. And not have to do it in public. ?
02 Jul 2026 15:00:35
Erm, can't see him crying, Skegs. Not like he needs Universal Credit, ffs. Just wrong.
02 Jul 2026 15:11:12
You're all heart, Skegs. Do try a bit harder not to live down to my expectations.
02 Jul 2026 15:07:43
Exactly bowie.so what difference does it make about the way he was let go.if you get the sack you get the sack there's no good way about doing it you should all stop crying and get on the mr m bandwagon onwards and upwards with glasner uredddssss uredddssss
02 Jul 2026 17:29:49
Ok, Skeggs?
Say your son or daughter was treated like that by their boss?
Would you just have the same approach?
?
02 Jul 2026 17:44:27
They've been sacked before from jobs. So have I, lol. Don't tell me you've never been sacked, Rogie. You little angel, you. ??
02 Jul 2026 17:57:21
No, thankfully, I suppose I'll just have to take your Kop Out, mate.

Man City for another.
02 Jul 2026 15:02:04
Blythe Spartans, Berwick.
02 Jul 2026 16:15:53
Everton have signed Hackney!
02 Jul 2026 16:17:06
Spurs have signed Fernandez and Tonali! Just a mere £185m ? not bad for a Championship team lol.
02 Jul 2026 19:06:10
So Spurs will have an expensive midfield that doesn't score goals. ???
02 Jul 2026 10:25:01
Really sorry to lose VP as manager and will forever be grateful for him keeping us in the Premier League as I will be to Steve Cooper for getting us there.
However I can understand Mr M making the decision to bring in Glasner as long as it’s on a long contract and he lets him get on with the job.
Agree6

02 Jul 2026 10:49:10
Move on. Sorry for managers that get paid silly money to do a job. Bring on Glasner, a proper manager. Well done, Mr M. ???
02 Jul 2026 11:13:12
Three year contract apparently. ??
02 Jul 2026 11:07:41
I give it 3 months before the chant of "Glasner Out" is heard in sunny Skeggy mate!
By the way, were you and Larry on the verge of premature ejaculation last night on 75 minutes before Harry Kane ruined your evening? ?????????
02 Jul 2026 11:31:51
Got to say, Vitor did well for us and kept us up, but he did refuse to sign a new contract about a month ago. Glasner is a step up, but will he have the players behind him like Vitor? Hope he gets to say which players he wants, and some more of Edo rubbish.
02 Jul 2026 11:32:19
?? Oliver's army is here to stay.
Oliver's army are on their way.
And I would rather be anywhere else.
But Hartlepool today. ?
02 Jul 2026 11:35:11
Munmad, there's little likelihood of Mr M changing the habits of a lifetime and letting OG get on with the job, mate.
But we can live in hope, eh... ?
02 Jul 2026 11:51:17
Stokey the Marinakis basher. ???
02 Jul 2026 12:13:36
He still hasn't got over Dyche, have you, Peter Pan? ??
02 Jul 2026 12:07:36
Skegsjay and Larry do you have any feelings at all somehow I doubt it.
You pair really do Skegness a disservice I go there a lot to play golf at Seacroft and North Shore and have to say the people who look after you there are really hospitable
Larry the ram
Skegsjay the bin dipper
02 Jul 2026 12:25:07
Munmad, my little pal. Feelings for managers that get paid money to do a job? No. Managers are stepping stones, that's all they are. The club moves on, so should everyone else. If you don't like the owner or what he's trying to do for the club, then move on. Maybe become a Palace fan. ?? Living the Marinakis kebab dream.
02 Jul 2026 12:28:00
So are we, Munmad. We often have a few in the 19th hole at North Shore. All residents of Skegness are hospitable. It's that kind of town. ?
02 Jul 2026 12:30:58
Just what I expected from you recliner boy absolute drivel
02 Jul 2026 12:37:35
I don't know where this Peter Pan thing has come from? Is it because I'm eternally youthful or because you two are eternally juvenile and attention seeking Genuinely puzzled. Please explain,
Munmad, mate, it's best just to humour them.
We shouldn't mock the afflicted after all. They're a bit miffed because they were wrong about their country's failure to lose last night. It's just the same when Forest win, they can't hide their disappointment
02 Jul 2026 13:08:31
Larry, ... "Hartlepool" Que??????
02 Jul 2026 13:15:46
Oliver's army will be booming out across the City Ground on opening day. I don't see any reason to argue over what's happening or happened. Yes, it came as a shock, but nothing lasts forever. We've had worse managers! As Del Boy would say.
02 Jul 2026 13:29:13
A lot worse. Dyche was one.
02 Jul 2026 15:13:39
Tedious as always, Skegs. ???
02 Jul 2026 08:53:36
Glasner is a step up from VP and no one can deny this. Maybe the first manager that has come to the club who is coveted by rivals. Some stellar signings will be forthcoming. I expect will come with his appt. VP fulfilled his job description but patently was a stop gap.
It was always to be Silva or Glasner. I am surprised he came to us as we normally don’t attract such managers. This is a new start and Glasner at the helm will be the lever for new players with ambition to come. Whereas VP was not.
Agree4
Disagree0
02 Jul 2026 10:12:13
I suspect that this has been in the works for a while now, hence the lack of signings. It's still a bit of a shock, though, and VP deserved another season. But top quality managers are in short supply, and Glasner is one of them, so I think Mr M has done the right thing for the club.
If our players don't get on board with him, then it's the door. I'm sure there will be plenty who can and will work with our new manager. But Mr M will expect Europa League as a minimum in return. Looking forward to the future.
02 Jul 2026 10:26:43
I deny it, Nono, that Glasner is a step up from VP. VP has won more trophies than OG. Check it out, mate.
Glasner has only come to us as a stop gap because he couldn't get the "big" jobs at Liverpool, Man City or Chelsea imo.
Combined with the fact that our Glorious Leader hasn't learnt his lesson about achieving stability, and he couldn't stop his little pudgy fingers from dabbling again...
Disgraceful, and the way it was done by email shows he hasn't learnt any lessons about class and respect either.
02 Jul 2026 10:43:15
Glasner has won two European trophies, Stokey, and been a manager ten years less than Vitor. Vitor has won nothing since the Chinese double in 2018.
I liked Vitor, you liked Dyche, God knows why, but they are gone, and at least we start a season with a coach in charge before a preseason and with the transfer window open.
It's no use moaning about Marinakis, he owns the club and so far has done alright for me.
No way would we be playing Premier football under Doughty or Fawaz.
Agree with Larry, two tier posting from you.
02 Jul 2026 11:24:55
Spot on, dtp. How the hell could anyone claim Dyche was a good manager. We now have a class manager with a great record & is a massive upgrade. Plus, as you say, we start the pre season with a manager for a change. No chance of a repeat of last year's woes with Oliver at the helm. ?
02 Jul 2026 11:48:09
Difficult to know where to start with the last two posts. Dtp, the only thing I can agree with is that you're right about the timing allowing OG a pre season and a transfer window.
You are in error about Dyche and Vitor. I liked both, as I've said on here repeatedly. Both contributed to our survival in the Prem after the chaos of Nuno and Ange this season.
If Mr M "has done alright by me" that implies that you are happy with a good old survival struggle in 3 out of the past 4 seasons?
Leaving aside the laughing stock he's made of our club.
As for the European trophies, Glasner won the Conference. I reckon I could have won that with Bulwell Town, mate.
Europa, fair enough in 2021. VP got us to a semi with a crock full of injuries to key players, and at the tail end of a chaotic season. Who knows? It is only as speculative as you saying we would never have got to the Prem under Fawaz and Doughty. The big Greek got lucky in appointing an excellent manager in SC after about 5 or 6 failures. Every dog has his day.
02 Jul 2026 12:00:07
"No chance of a repeat of last year's woes with Oliver at the helm"? Let's see, shall we?
I hope you are right, Larry. It would be a first, certainly, mate. ???
02 Jul 2026 12:31:11
Well, it was me who broke the Glasner news even before Ramario Stokie, so it will be the second time, bud. ??
02 Jul 2026 15:17:32
Bigging yourself up again, Larry. It was on the BBC about 3 hours before you posted. You really are desperate for attention, aren't you?
02 Jul 2026 19:11:19
Tbh Stokey, your jokes on here are on the internet months before. ????

02 Jul 2026 08:06:49
I will say two things.
1) VP was apparently sacked by email (no phone call) at 11.58pm, 2 mins before his clause expired end June. There is so little class and gratitude in that, assuming those press reports are true, it doesn't even need further discussion. Zero class, none.
2) Glasner is unlikely to last. Putting aside, (somehow), our Chair's ridiculous track record of hiring and sackings, Glasner can speak up and will go public against Boards when he wants to. So that's not going to land well.
A lot of people talk about Mr M being some 'win at all costs' merchant who 'will do nothing until we get to the top table'. To be honest, we've been back 4 seasons and battled relegation 3 times. Sacked numerous staff, numerous managers and bought a load of poor players amongst some better players. Is there a 'plan' to be regularly challenging the top 8 beyond just saying this stuff and sacking and hiring? Changing the manager every time you prefer a new one, does not a strategy make.
02 Jul 2026 08:59:52
Brilliant post, Agen! Spot on. ??
02 Jul 2026 09:47:57
Yes, brilliant post, Agen.
02 Jul 2026 09:48:27
Well, Stokie, that's a turn around for the Peter Pan of banter, mate. Marinakas could do no wrong when I stated a few weeks ago he would ruin the club with his gung ho approach to football. Now, you're doubting his judgement.
Is this Sgt Stokie with 2 tier posting. ??
02 Jul 2026 11:51:47
You should read my posts properly before committing your erroneous thoughts to post, Larry. If you had, you would see that I've regularly lambasted our owner for many, many mistakes and criticised his ownership. I've never ever said he could do no wrong. You must be confusing me with someone else?
01 Jul 2026 23:08:33
England showing tonight how vital it is to have a top class centre forward to turn games for you. England have Harry Kane, we have Igor Jesus, say no more! First job for Oliver Glasner is to insist on a top class centre forward - we will go nowhere without one.
Feel sorry for Vitor - lovely man and had the respect of the players. Glasner is also a nice man though and a great manager. Hope he decides who we sign before the start of the season.

Harry Kane would cost 100 million even at his age. Hard to find a striker that scores regularly.
Isak cost 125 mill, but looks useless right now rhr.
02 Jul 2026 09:02:30
We based our challenge for Europe on Woody's goals, but, as I've said many times, he's carrying a permanent injury, and is in the twilight of an illustrious career. A lucky snip at £30 odd million, and unlikely to be repeated.
01 Jul 2026 21:49:39
I see nothing has changed on here ???.
Did Marinakis do the right thing?
Let's be realistic, VP had the backing of team and they played for him.
