Given Taylor's negative history with our club I can't think of a worse appt by the PGMOL

This match is make or break for Forest against a difficult opponent why oh why appoint Taylor to oversee this potentially volatile game

Skegs i would have taken bottom half safety and an FA semi, if someone said we'd be in the race for Europe i wouldn't have laughed at them.
But here we are, European place garenteed, one more match, one more home win and the possibility of Champions league football. In my lifetime I've only seen us in Europe once, a campaign ended by a beating by Bayern Munich. This season is the stuff of dreams. I've definitely enjoyed the ride, long may it continue. COYR ?.

Btw, as I've said before on here, the coaching staff etc. Never seen our defence any better with corners, set pieces etc. The playing staff not going through none stop injuries. Been amazing. Still think we need a lot more focus on shooting from a lot of players (always bobby Charlton simples bless him. Chest over the ball. Head down. You've already picked your target) we move on. Amazing season.

Couldn't have put it better myself Bowie, this season's been a blast far from what I was expecting last August. But we must put premier League football as our main priority next season what ever euro league were in, won't be easy with all the extra games and that's without the domestic cup games. we only have to see how much our squad is suffering from exhaustion at the moment.

Nuno's tactics V Chelsea will be paramount for a win. They are strong in all departments, but I wonder if he will make Anderson man-mark Cole Palmer?
I fancy the first half-an hour will be cat and mouse. If he plays CHO and Elanga straight away that might send a message about their defence, but because our ability to fight hard the differences will be very slight.
I'm nervous but very excited and hope it's a classic game of the best of Premier League football.
Not seen many bulletins on Taiwo's condition but hoping he's improving fast.

I had a look at Chelsea’s extended highlights v Man Utd and they carry a lot of threat for Nuno to think about. Particularly down the flanks with fast and tricky wingers like Neto and Madueke, backed up by attacking full backs like Curacella and James.
Plus, everything comes through Cole Palmer, a brilliant playmaker imo.
It’s not going to be easy by any means comrades.

A thoroughly professional performance yesterday against the Hammers, a good side in a false league position I think with the players and resources they have. We looked fairly comfortable until the subs and Bowen scored a cracker after Moratas weak header. Brought back memories of his Hull City days in the Championship when he kept popping up to cause us all sorts of problems., I've been wracking my addled brain to remember his prolific strike partner at Hull. It marked the start of the Tigers decline when they were both sold.
Sels was man of the match for me with Malenkovic a close second. some world class saves and defending.
I said before the match that West Ham's attacking style might suit us and so it did. It could easily have been 3 all by the end.
Mr England the ref did his best to salvage a result for the Hammers with his 18 minutes of 11 initially given extra time. I've read somewhere that the total of 113 minutes was the second longest game in the Prem this season. Even allowing for the VAR nonsense and Bowens injury I don't know where that all came from?
Dominquez had a stormer, Sanghere showing good signs of coming back to his undoubted best, Elanga a handful.
I don't usually have time for MOTD but I watched it on catch-up today. Danny Murphy's analysis of Nunos tactical genius, diamond formation and coaching discipline is well worth a listen. he's one of the few pundits I've got any time for.
So, all to play for and Arsenal did us a favour. Whatever happens it's been a wonderful season. I stand by my prediction of Champions League football next season. Coyr!

Great post. What a finish we're on for. A win and a result in 2 of the other fixtures and were in the CL. Worst case I hope for is we draw and villa lose so we make Europa, which I don't think is anything to be sneezed at. Watching in Australia last night was jubilation mixed with absolute fear for the last 30 minutes, the last put in a performance. Wood weirdly looked for a cross from 10 yards out on the angle, can't help but think he would have put that away a few months ago MGW plays 45 mins at a 9/ 10 the the other at a 4/ 10. Too much turn over ball and his finishing is woeful at times.
