Anyone think our 5 goal difference advantage will be wiped out tomorrow night?

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Mar 2026 21:35:06
Wouldn't be surprised.

03 Mar 2026 21:50:22
No, I think our top players will be playing their best tmoz to sell themselves. So it will be a tight game, 1 nil City, or 1-1. I'm hoping for the latter.

04 Mar 2026 05:01:34
I think we'll actually increase it by 5 goals.
???

03 Mar 2026 18:22:42
My team for tomorrow night
Sels
Ainia Cunha serbinator, Murillo, Netz
Sangare Anderson
MGW HO Awonyi

Sound defence, with two defensive midfielders
HO and MGW to supply on the quick break, Tiawo scores.

Unstoppable.

03 Mar 2026 20:54:16
Need a good striker in there - Collymore.

MGW, HO, Awonyi.

Manager Brian Clough.

A brilliant manager and a couple of warriors would turn bottlers into winners ......

03 Mar 2026 22:53:06
Trevor was a better striker than Collymore. Compare their careers, actually there is no comparison.

03 Mar 2026 18:20:59
I see Pep is updating the Press on the fitness and availability of Harland ( cost £50 million). Oh dear, he might have to struggle on and make do with replacements like Marmoush (£60 million) and Semenyo ( £64 million).
Please don't ever ever tell me the Premier League is in any way a fair competition .

04 Mar 2026 07:36:02
Nice one Rogie.

03 Mar 2026 17:40:00
Dtp bless him was always my biggest enemy on me and overpaid players and the service they give. Reds it's not just the players, for me it's the coaching etc just needs so much more. Pathetic again again again been saying long long time on our natural basics.
Coners, set pieces, working harder (for me) so players really can play a simple ball.

It's work ethics reds. And this lot just aren't training hard enough, or don't feel part of the badge. Or just feel they are above everyone. While the WFCG just keeps on paying. Ok know it's a long one and not as good as stokeys ww2, me I'd put the lot of em up and mow em down ??.

Agree4 Disagree0

03 Mar 2026 22:05:17.
Good post, Bowie. Work ethics, indeed, as I mentioned last night.

I think that the answer to our current problems is that Forest employs me as their new Cf. I would obviously expect to do little training for the role and be paid millions in the process (as our current players expect). I would also demand a half-time cigarette as Jr indulged in.

As I can't run, I could position myself on the edge of the opposition penalty box and wait for the Forest wingers to play me onside. Then, a pass on the floor, and I'd hit that ball into the top corner at 100mph with one of my robotic legs.

The opposition keepers wouldn't stand a chance.

03 Mar 2026 15:43:02
Our owner has only made five mistakes since he joined us: sacking Cooper, sacking Nuno, appointing Postecoglou, sacking Dyche, and appointing Pereira.
But there is plenty of time left in the season yet.

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Mar 2026 16:33:20
You forgot Edu the Charlatan!

03 Mar 2026 17:06:27
I'd give VP a bit more of a chance, mate. Over 4 managers, the problem is obvious: no decent CF, the bench is pants & we therefore don't have the squad for Europe and Prem, so the best players are getting burnt out.

03 Mar 2026 17:16:40
Pathetic. You can recruit, showing your reliability. Really, it is that simple. You lot and so many others, ok, Big M, efs up. Never easy in football. What does Big M do? He just keeps on giving. What do our players and fans do? They just keep on taking. Simples.

03 Mar 2026 17:59:34
Interestingly, Traore is now at West Ham. As a recall, this is the player Nuno wanted. He is not injured, but has only started one FA Cup game. He has not started a Premier League match. So, what was the fuss about.

03 Mar 2026 18:09:24
Traore is never gonna displace Bowen and Summerville.

He could have easily got into our team with the alternatives we have, though.

03 Mar 2026 18:12:42
All the fuss was about getting the right recruitment in, and not leaving it to the last 5 minutes with 200 million worth of crap. And he was right, wasn't he? He knew the players bought in weren't good enough for the squad. Have the 3 new managers after him found out as well?

03 Mar 2026 18:14:42
Traore, a donkey with no head for me. We've got enough.

03 Mar 2026 18:43:57
Spot on, Fred.

04 Mar 2026 07:38:52
Perhaps Nuno likes muscular men. Just a thought.

03 Mar 2026 13:28:36
Surely a start for Tiawo on Wednesday is a must. Let's face it, this man might have thought he would die after his injury. He is the player that saved us from relegation in our first year in the premiership. He came on with < 10 mins to go and a great goal scoring opportunity. I think Jesus might have had
one slight chance in the previous 80 mins.

The goal Tiawo scored against Brentford must vie for gold of the season. I cannot understand why SD didn't pick him but surely this is his chance to save his again. Incidentally I would play McAtee in MGWs position positioning MGW as a forward along side Tiawo. Let's go out with gun blazing as to sit back will be lambs to the slaughter.

Agree5 Disagree0

03 Mar 2026 15:00:49
Taiwo has to start against Man City, but we must put someone big against Haaland if he plays. MGW has been playing higher up the pitch, but yes, up close to Taiwo and play as a two.
I also think we need to stop playing out from the back, it looked awful against Brighton.
COYR.

03 Mar 2026 15:38:54
Taiwo in as well. The £180m bomb squad. Edu can't sit and watch as we have 3% possession and no shot on goal.
Edu out now, and take VP and his back room staff too. Andy Reid in until the end of the season, and start playing some of the kids.

This season has been a joke, and, as I feel right now, I won't be renewing my season ticket - that's the first time in nearly 40 years. I just feel sad and depressed.

03 Mar 2026 16:09:02
Andy Reid n the kids?? What kids, we ain't got any of Premier standards or they'd be in the squad already... Look at the stick Abbott took v Leeds.

Wait till the renewal prices come out. I'm guessing another increase. 1st season in prem cost me £60 for the kids, now it's £295. Wish my wages rose that steeply.

03 Mar 2026 16:52:48
Zyan Blake and Jimmy Sinclair are two players who could do with a step up to the seniors. Especially Blake - a tricky winger who isn't afraid to take on a defender. But I agree on the ticket prices. I followed home and away until Christmas this year, but I'm sick to death of seeing overpaid players not putting a shift in.

03 Mar 2026 18:19:44
Totally agree with Blake, what harm can I do. People have said he's too young for the prem, but just look at Rooney, 16, when he got his first team debut, and that didn't work out too bad did it. We can't carry on the way we're going.

03 Mar 2026 09:25:55
It doesn't help when our 3 highest profile players are constantly being linked with so called bigger clubs it's not helpful in the slightest especially if it causes our relegation because of their poor performances

Murillo and Anderson have been awful the last 2 games and Gibbs White hasn't been that good either

Talk of 100m for a bloke who can't shoot and 70m for a bloke who can't head a ball Anderson and Murrilo is great money and if we are still in the Premier League at the end of the season then take it.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Mar 2026 09:53:45
The top 3 lads mentioned will be gone either way. Staying up makes no difference. Looks like the heads are already gone, and they are elsewhere. Not looking good at the moment, and not looking forward to the Man City game; only one outcome there, I'm afraid. Hope I am wrong.

03 Mar 2026 10:21:28
For me, Mumnmad, MGW was our MOTM. Scored a great goal too.

03 Mar 2026 10:48:19
The best part about it, they were probably 3 of the 5 Maranakis asked about sacking Dyche. What does that tell you. ? ?

03 Mar 2026 12:05:43
Do we have players that have a rider in their contracts that they can leave if we are relegated? Can the club be a little bit awkward about the sale? Does the player beg to leave at any price? Is it an advantage to the buying club?
Four questions, sorry!

03 Mar 2026 16:10:48
If we stay up, no way I'd sell all 3 in one hit. Imagine Edu spunking it all again, and we'll be the next Wolves.

03 Mar 2026 09:22:26
Good morning all - BOOM another drone hitting somewhere!
Ok, so the Europa League final is supposed to be in TURKEY, will there be any flights? You know, on the off chance we need flights! Is a long journey by car? Should I leave now? Or will UEFA move the final?
My heart goes out to the innocent people suffering under TRUMPS power greed mind! Bombs from the sky will not bring about stability!

03 Mar 2026 16:36:53
Red Keef, I understand you may not be familiar with the Iranian regime. Let's keep the conversation focused on football-related matters and avoid discussing politics or topics that could potentially cause unnecessary division.

03 Mar 2026 18:50:50
Well said Stevie/Ripley. ?

03 Mar 2026 05:48:37
Morning folks, just looking at Vitor Pereiras last few Premier League games. Looks like he has drawn 3 and lost 13 of his last 16 games. Given Wolves friendly matches in the summer, that record extends to 4 draws and 16 losses from his last 20. This does not include Europe where he finally won a game with us, though also adding another loss to his impressive streak of failure.

Will he keep us up? Doubt it on those stats. The table doesn't lie - sadly he's right at the bottom of the Premier League managerial standings by some distance.

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Mar 2026 08:25:56
Agree, RF. VP does not impress re past results and demeanor. SD was a different character altogether. We have changed yet again to a high press and to playing out from the back.

SD cleared the ball from the danger area. Now we see near suicidal passes around the penalty box. The players got us into this mess, and will get us out of it, despite VP.

03 Mar 2026 08:29:21
Pereira out. Another Marinakas dinner guest & drinking partner. That's three of his supping buddies he's tried. It's cost him about 20 million on failed manager compo so far this season, & 180 million investment in championship-quality players to achieve relegation.

Well done, big man, and, while you're at it, go yourself & get back to your two-horse race league in Greece. You're a joke of an owner.

03 Mar 2026 09:14:43
You really are a very ignorant man calling out the man that rescued our club single-handedly.

03 Mar 2026 10:03:10
I agree, Larry, we should take a stand. And rise up from our recliners, and rip a sheet up tmoz night. Show it in front of our tvs. Maranakis out. ??

03 Mar 2026 10:46:13
To be fair, Wolves owners are even worse than ours and sold VPs best players like Cunha to Man Utd and Rayan to Manchester City from under his feet, and didn't reinvest. Hence their season so far. He was given even more of the ? end of the stick than Nuno and SD.

03 Mar 2026 11:58:15
He's going to single handedly get us relegated munmad. When you see how small clubs like Brighton & Brentford are run for survival we are a joke.

02 Mar 2026 22:26:25
Like Fawaz, Maranakis listens to the wrong people. "Players" got rid of Psycho and possibly O'Neil and now Dyche. The latter would have kept us up. We are on a tightrope created by the owner. I don't look forward to games any more and don't feel positive about the team or club.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Mar 2026 02:41:07
Very good point. You couldn't make it up. I didn't think it would happen again until SD got called back to the ground. What a shabby, undignified sacking. I think the soul is being ripped out of the club.

When you hear MGW after the first match in Fenerbache saying "we are really buying into the manager's ideas", then it says they didn't buy into SD. Were they even trying? Unprecedented.

02 Mar 2026 20:49:47
I've just been reading through the last three pages of banter and I'm in the mood for a rant Gents!

It's starting to rile me - us paying supporters (obviously alongside Big M's financial support) are, in effect, the 'employers' of all Nottingham Forest players. Without us and Big M, they wouldn't be paid to kick a football around to the tune of tens of thousands of pounds per week.

Therefore, it riles me that I'm reading that our precious players in their 20's prime are 'fatigued'. My point is why?

Two games a week. Really? These are supposed to be superbly honed-athletes in their prime physically and they get tired playing two games a week? It's not just Forest - it seems most other clubs seem to be using the same excuse nowadays.

To me, it is a reflection of our society nowadays. Nobody seems to be willing to 'put the work in' anymore. Feeling tired with a few cuts and grazes - is that an excuse for not putting the effort in with the excessive wages they are paid? Personally, I think our players' gutless response to Forest's current PL standing is a slap in the face to both the supporters and Big M.

Rant over.

Been saying it a long time, Lego. ?

02 Mar 2026 21:04:41
I hear you, Lego. I agree, though I do think some of the fatigue could be mental. Leaving your wife and kids regularly for European trips can't be easy. Plus, factor in that most of our players are also away on international duty from time to time. Lots of travelling with little rest in between.
However, given their salaries, you're most probably correct.

02 Mar 2026 21:54:23
That's a fair point, Frog. However, I was posted away from my family whilst serving in the Army for 6-12 months at a time. Yet, I still 'performed in my job' despite being paid a pittance in comparison to pro footballers nowadays.

I will go to my grave loving Forest. However, in the meantime, I am seriously falling out of love with football in general. Money has taken over and infected our great game for the worse.

02 Mar 2026 22:43:01
The FIFA Peace Prize award given to Trump was the final straw for me. Greed, a lack of morals, and corruption have infected our once-great sport.

I wonder how the Iranian citizens are feeling atm, subjected to barrages of US missiles delivered by the 'Peace President'.

Football had to evolve over the years, as every sport has to.

However, I think that football, as a whole, has actually degenerated over the years. The supporters, I feel, have had their loyalty abused through the obsessive behaviour of owners consumed by both greed and ego.

Think about it.

02 Mar 2026 22:58:21
Red Frog, struggling with the bit about leaving their families behind for European trips. Away from home for a couple of days at most, families in the lap of luxury, players travelling 1st class everywhere. This is what they became footballers to do, this was their dream. Some I know were sent to the world's danger spots at short notice, death and serious injury a definite possibility, probability in some cases.

Their families often did not know where they were, or if they were ever coming back. And if they did not 'perform', their lives were at greater risk. But this is also what they signed up to do, and they got on with it, and never made excuses. I think these pampered athletes need to man up and act in the same manner, and not embarrass themselves any further.

02 Mar 2026 22:44:23
Bottlers Lego

02 Mar 2026 22:46:27
Let's get this straight they chose to be footballers nobody as forced them to be.at the average age of 26 they've learnt more money than we can dream of in a lifetime of working our assess off.and it must be hard on them to leave there family for a couple of weeks why they earn a 100,000 give me a break soldier's lorry drivers etc do it for pittance.

They're playing like a bunch of fairies that don't care about the fans that pay there hard earned money to watch them play rubbish obviously i'm the sensible one in my recliner watching it for free even then, I still have to pay extra for my extra beers to get over the depression of watching how bad they are.

03 Mar 2026 00:52:16
Spot on, Lego. "Falling out of love with football."
Me too. I haven't not watched a match yet, but it's seriously getting close to that point. You've seen my posts about the horrendous abuse the players get, forced into enduring a 6hr week for a poxy £3 million a year.

Bowie's been saying it for years. The game is unrecognisable from the working class afternoon out of years gone by. We are in serious trouble & it's all Big M's fault. He will wreck our club, mark my words.

03 Mar 2026 09:17:09
Foolish comment yet again.

03 Mar 2026 19:11:20
Lego, on Trump, Munmad? Yeah, I agree, bud.

02 Mar 2026 20:37:46
Pep's moaning very sarcastically about Man City's 4 games in 10 days then 5 games in 13 days. Identical to us and he's got a high quality squad to play with. He starts with us, then I think it's away at Newcastle in the FA, 2 European ties against Real Madrid then away at West Ham.

It might work for us. At least it'll give him some selection issues. Welcome to our world ( but at a much higher level obviously).

If Haaland doesn't play and, by some miracle, all the players turn up, I can see us getting a result.

If they all didn't play, I still think we would still manage to balls it up. ???

03 Mar 2026 10:32:41
