Sels again from a set piece flapping
Need a keeper.

26 Oct 2025 14:44:22
Never a corner?

26 Oct 2025 14:52:25
That's irrelevant Bowie though, he flaps at every cross.

26 Oct 2025 14:58:35
Still got to defend it better whether it should've been or not.

26 Oct 2025 13:23:11
First time ever picked the exact starting team 4-3-3 COYR.

26 Oct 2025 13:38:06
Congratulations Munmad.
It's a memorable day for everyone on here mate.
You got it correct at last. Or I could say, the manager got it correct at last.

26 Oct 2025 13:56:17
You got the subs wrong.

26 Oct 2025 13:57:27
And the formation wrong.

26 Oct 2025 14:52:22
It's your fault we are 2-0 down then?.

26 Oct 2025 14:57:40
???.

26 Oct 2025 11:12:47
Two old football sayings:

1/ Too good to go down

2/ The league table never lies

One, s true one one isn’t. Hope this is drilled into the squad.

PS Hope Edu had a good night in Barcelona!

26 Oct 2025 12:24:35
Hope he stays there carlo.

26 Oct 2025 10:02:29
Someone needs to man mark Semenyo today. The obvious person to do this is Yates! So do you bring him and drop Ndoye.

Agree3 Disagree1

26 Oct 2025 11:31:23
He'd leave Yates for dead and He'd get sent off in no time mate.

26 Oct 2025 12:07:34
I maybe wrong but I don’t think Yates is that slow or Semenyo that fast, however I do know a brake needs to be put on Semenyo from the off. A yellow card is inevitable but a price worth paying.

SD will know well what to do. A manager the players will develop confidence in his decisions. I am interested if what he makes of McAtee and Hutchison but maybe no role today.

26 Oct 2025 12:35:30
Just don't even put Yates in the match day squad.
The last thing we need is that red card, waiting to happen Rhino, charging round fouling everyone.
Bournemouth are class, and class and Yates don't belong together.
Plus Bournemouth manager should be ours.

26 Oct 2025 13:49:09
Yates on bench.

Sean Dyche has banned hats and snoods from training, seems petty, but it will give Dyche valuable information on the players who conform and those who wont!, and makes a statement to the players "I'm the boss".

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Oct 2025 06:52:14
If you can't play a match in them they you don't need to train in them.

26 Oct 2025 07:47:26
You can't play a match with mini goals but they train with em.
Strange though when the whistle blows MGW and Ando can't hit the rarget in a full size one ?.

26 Oct 2025 08:29:40
Just watched "Ian Woan, My Forest Story"
Describes his times under Clough, Relegation, Promotion, and Europe.
Great lads, (Wand of a left foot).
Says when he thinks of Forest, it bringsa smile to his face. that was 8 years ago, and now he's back again.
Welcome back mate!

26 Oct 2025 09:33:21
Still backing Hutchinson to score today! Still, maybe, possibly, you never know, Sean stick him on!

25 Oct 2025 23:28:38
I'd like to see Dominguez and Hutchinson get some game time tomorrow.

25 Oct 2025 20:50:47
Just watching Brentford v Liverpool.

Shows you how far guts, determination, good organisation with just a sprinkling of quality can get you.

2 0 at half time could have been more.

If we can replicate that kind of mindset and stick to the gameplan, I am sure we will get something.

Ps. Hang on Liveroool have just scored. Oooops?.

Agree3 Disagree0

25 Oct 2025 21:09:50
3 minutes added but gave Liverpool 2 extra minutes so they can score one then blow for half time. Dodgy as hell.

25 Oct 2025 21:34:45
You spend 500 million on attack, I think personally Liverpool have signed a problem in isak and eteke as they both seem to have massive egos that says neither will be happy if they aren't first choice
Took the pace and direct approach out of the side by playing sideways and backwards and static at the back.

25 Oct 2025 23:06:02
What's your view on where it's going wrong edd?
I think wirtz looks like he has the world on his shoulders and the pace has gone from an attacking point of view?
The back four look very static to?
To me on paper the addition of wirtz, isak, kerkez and enteke should have been the icing on the cake for a premier winning side?

{Ed001's Note - lack of fitness, lack of intensity, every pass is slowly rolled giving the opposition time to adjust and no protection in midfield as Slot empties it constantly.}

25 Oct 2025 23:24:41
Thanks edd I see a lack of pace for sure
He had klopps side now he owns his?

{Ed001's Note - yeah, he has tried to change too much this season.}

25 Oct 2025 23:28:07
Also I don't think conour Bradley and Curtis jones are good enough for a team at Liverpools level.

{Ed001's Note - decent squad players but no more.}

25 Oct 2025 23:46:04
The phrase "Form is temporary class is permanent ". Adept with Salah, tonight.

What a finish.

26 Oct 2025 08:31:39
Ed?
Do you think Virgil is on the decline maybe?

{Ed001's Note - defo, he has been showing signs of a gradual decline for 3 years.}

25 Oct 2025 19:15:13

25 Oct 2025 20:10:57
You could ge spit on munmad, the only thing I'd say is he might go more defensive as Bournemouth have so much pace?

25 Oct 2025 20:53:57
Fair play, that does look a strong lineup. My only question mark is over Savone, but early days I suppose.

Touching wood, I actually feel quietly confident about tomorrow.

25 Oct 2025 21:33:09
No reason, he would make any changes from Thursday other than fitness issues. So that could well be the team.

If he wanted to be more cautious he could bring in Domingues on the right for Ndoye an old Nuno move. Less likely bring in Sangare and play MGW on the right.

I remember last year CHO missed this fixture. It didn't end well. I hope he starts tommorow.

26 Oct 2025 07:52:30
Savone did well when he came so deserves his place if that defence set up works great till Aina and the Brazilian fullback comes after Xmas. Of course there's always Abbot, Morato and yes here it is again Murrilo at LB the rest of the team will be picked from 5 midfielders and 5 attacker's ??.

26 Oct 2025 08:54:57
Murrilo is NOT a left back?????.

25 Oct 2025 18:47:37
For me our only hopes of goals,
1=wood
2=jesus
3 =actually struggling
I honestly think CHO has been sussed, 1x trick pony
Mgw and anderson couldn't hit a barn door.
Ok maybe gibbs gets an odd goal but my you look the chances he's had, I put my head under my shirt on that pen, but took it well give him his due.
Again I keep on and on. Either our training regime is crap or they ain't training hard enough.

You need others especially midfield to help out. Or the big serbs height etc etc. We just aren't creating enough chances or be it within 6 x inches of the goal. because let's face it. only way their going to score. Pointless changing our approach, as they just ain't a clue around the 18 yard box. Just my opinion.

Agree7 Disagree7

25 Oct 2025 20:59:51
It's always puzzled me why CHO doesn't play regularly on the right wing. It's surely a more natural position for him?

25 Oct 2025 21:11:10
Plays on the left to cut inside and shoot with his right foot.

25 Oct 2025 22:22:35
Salah plays on right for Liverpool and cuts inside onto his left that seems work OK lego.

25 Oct 2025 22:39:44
Bowie, just enjoy the moment fgs. Glass half empty.

25 Oct 2025 22:41:03
It's the same opinion I've had since end of March Bowie, but you only get shot down for saying it
We have to remember our winning streak under nuno was generally by keeping a clean sheet and scoring the odd goal, although there where a few exceptions
We had wood full of confidence and 20 goals and winger in elanga scoring and creating, Elanga is a massive miss with his pace
Ndoye has done well and scored and assit a few but he doesn't have the same pace.

For me we have to keep douglas luiz fit as he is the best midfielder we have at keeping the ball abd passing it to a teamate and the only one that can take a set piece
I hope Dyche keeps sangare on the bench and sticks with a midfield of MGW, Anderson and luiz and plays any of the four wingers when they are in form and sticks with jesus up front as he has the best movement and a real natural at scoring
Only alternative is to be brave a drop MGW
and try Mcatee, but can't see that happening tbh
Not always the most talented players playing together that makes the best team.

25 Oct 2025 23:04:27
Thanks dtp, agreed. buster i was only giving an opinion? Banter.

25 Oct 2025 23:42:41
That's what this place is for. Chat about Forest and have a banter.

It's my biggest worry too, Bowie. Ndoye has scored, but not enough goals from midfield or the other wingers for some time. When Wood is injured or on a run of poor form, we aren't really scoring much. We haven't scored from open play since the Betis game, I'm told.

Hopefully it's a confidence thing and a couple of goals and players won't feel as under pressure to score and do what's natural. Kalimuendo and Bakwa both have goals in them but haven't got going or are injured. McAtee has scored a lot of goals in the past as well and needs to start to play a part. MGW desperately needs a goal and Anderson is a fantastic player until he's in and around the opposition box then fluffs it as well.

a Jesus 1sp prem goal and a goal from midfield or the wings would make so much difference to all this IMO.

26 Oct 2025 14:52:15
There ya go reds. I see a problem and glass half empty, ?

25 Oct 2025 17:16:19
It's like the old days, if you think someone is talking crap thumbs down. Feeling optimistic for tomorrow, how things quickly change.

Agree4 Disagree4

25 Oct 2025 21:04:28
Bournemouth's confidence will be sky high, hopefully they will be to confident!, the law of averages says we are do a win against them, why not tomorrow ?.

26 Oct 2025 10:27:41
Realistically, a draw would be an excellent result against the Cherries. They’ve only lost one in the Premier League this season and that was 4. 2 at Anfield with 2 very late goals from the Scousers. They have a lot of pace and a weeks rest with no European competition.

A great team performance in Europe with some real balance and confidence. We have great depth for rotation, especially in midfield and on the wings. CHO is class and needs to shoot on sight more, ndoye is capable and works hard, bakwa we are yet to really see but has great attributes. We really need to finish top 8 in Europe to avoid the extra 2 games in the play offs.

The loss ro Mityiland not looking horrible now considering they are 3/ 3. Happy with a mid table finish if we go deep in Europe. I think it will be a random season for results and therefore the table could be tight again, which will benefit us.

Agree2 Disagree1

25 Oct 2025 10:19:40
Yeah, agreed.
We looked a lot more solid, I thought the back 4 did well and Williams was excellent, great to have Murrilo back.

I thought MGW had a decent game and Anderson and Luiz bossed midfield, when they are fit I can't see Yates and Sangare getting a look in but there will be rotations I am sure.

Excellent start for the new Dyche era, and away point (or more) at the Cherries would top off an excellent week for them.

25 Oct 2025 12:34:49
My only worry is there's no goals coming from midfield these players need to practice shooting and getting in the box, till Dyche gets the defence tightened up we need more goals and can't see that happening with the player's we have. Certainly think a few will leaving in January and a couple of Dyche favourites coming in.

25 Oct 2025 16:02:39
Jester been saying same for months
Your either a natural scorer or your not though imo and MGW, Anderson, sangare, Yates aren't and never will be regular scorers, so it's vital their final ball are assists.
