Here's my Outlook
1= told ya all preseason our outcome with this manager. We never had the players for his system.
2= he bores the f kn t#ts outta me god knows the players, overated and my well overpaid.
3= tell me a player who looks happy with this football.
4= for me we had some outstanding players, who because of his farce have became mediocre.
5= Williams, last season unbelievable. Burned up every inch of ground,aina also could dribble at a decent pace and put some amazing crosses in along with his long throw ins, mgw ok bit dubious of him, not sure he's just pi$$ed off he didn't go to a London club.

Reds I swear I just feel his hearts not there. Sels I feel has lost his confidence using 3 x at the back.
Milenkovic why why why does he slow down without effort. Murrilo now that laddie tried for everything with his initial games from Brazil. You could see he was at every ball trying to impress, these days new bonny haircut out with the girls, few teams looking at him. thinks he's done enough. Just f kn wrong.

Totally agree with you Bowie. The wrong manager/coach; players obviously unsuited and without belief in OG's system; little pride in playing for the badge anymore; players who looked great under VP who now look awful; an owner who runs the club in a chaotic way.

I could go on. To me it's just beyond belief how far we have gone backwards since the heady SC days.

I've worked for many companies that have changed owners and managers, did i still do the same job. yes i did because that's what I got paid to do. some of these fairies wearing Forest shirts getting paid ridiculous amounts of money should be doing the same, their job what they're told to do.

I hope Glasner makes all the changes he needs to against city. and I see players who want to play for their shirt glasners got that team making chances after chances, but he cant physically get on the pitch and score for them ?? we love glasner and Mr m living the glasner new dream ?.

I may be in the minority but I want Glasner to stay. 100%. What he achieved at Palace was remarkable, what he achieved at Frankfurt almost as good. He is a very good manager.

The club needs to come together around him and buy into his ideas.

Many of our performances this year have been good. I hate xG but we are top 5 for it and bottom 2 for goals expected against - so we are not finishing well, making individual errors at the back and unlucky. But we are creating chances and playing well at times in most matches.
Personnel wise I do have my doubts about Delap - saw him live 4 times last year and that spooked me. But he's a better option than anyone else we have right now in my view and there is a player there (Chelsea saw something, so did England U21). As predicted, Anderson leaving has been difficult for everyone,e specially MGW and the club ended the transfer window in net profit (it has in my view under-recruited + is paying the price for a pretty awful spurge of cash before our Europe campaign)

Glasner plays the system he plays (and always has) + wont be changing it. I think it will get results but it is not a straightforward watch at times. That said, he always starts slow at clubs and then it kicks in. I think it will happen again here.

As for what the club more widely needs 1) it needs stability 2) it needs a plan and 3) and it needs an organised owner and and organised team, We cannot go on and on changing everything and hoping it gets better.

We probably wont get stability or a plan (sadly) but if you listened to Bill Foley (Chairman at Bournemouth) last week on Talksport, you get such a different picture to what we have.

None of this is terribly relevant as Mr M will simply do what he wants and he appears less engaged than previously (not sure), but after just 2 (?) successful managers in the last 10, and as many managers as Watford, we need to stick by a manager that is successful and has real pedigree.

I don't agree with you Agen, but I think this is a great post. This represents (what should be) the essence of this site - fans putting forward their points of view not fearing derision or ridicule. I think you've put your take on our current situation very well.

I agree with your assessment that with Mr M in charge we will never have stability nor a worthy future plan as a club. In effect, Forest have been 'winging it' for some considerable time.

Where I completely disagree with you is about Glasner. Yes, the guy has pedigree but I will say again that I'm convinced he is not a good fit for Forest. OK, given 2 years plus he may well build a team that produces results. We all know that with Big M in charge that will never happen.

I've just seen a clip with OG talking about our players being outrun in every match and potential changes needed in player personnel if that doesn't improve. Well, they seemed to do OK in that regard playing the VP-way. I don't buy his argument at all and I view it squarely as a blame-shift.

I think it's a matter of a few games before Big M accepts he made a massive mistake (which of course he'll never admit to) and sacks Glasner. Rinse and repeat - the Forest way I'm afraid.

Although Marinakis has the financial resources to manage multiple clubs, does this justify the various negative aspects associated with his ownership? His aggressive attitude is highly questionable, complemented by a volatile temperament.
His plan to have Forest as an established premier club is unfortunately laughable and not obtainable.

DTP. I'm always wary of people saying ‘be careful what you wish for'. I respect your opinion as a fellow fan but why cannot we not wish for more? Don't many clubs in the Prem have a better set up and more stability than us? Would you rather what Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth have than us? Perhaps also Leeds, and even Coventry?

Given Leicester apparently had interest at a price of £200m, if we were up for sale we'd get more.

As for what else I wish for? Well, how about a Chairman that doesn't spit near referees, doesn't rush into the pitch and bark at a manager, thanks the right people when we get promoted, doesn't hire Clattenburg, doesn't hire 11/12 managers, doesn't announce a new CEO after the window closes. I wish for that.

Yes M is far better than Fawaz. But that's a pretty low bar (though even then there was a Fawaz Day at the CG once I think).

So I don't ‘beware what I wish for' but simply want better. Other clubs can do it. With the platform in the Prem and all the income that has brought in, we had it too. Instead we've had all the above and a resolving door of erratic signings and appointments all over the shop.

It's ok to want better and be ambitious for it (even if it never happens).

DTP, I'd rather look forward not back. The past feels less relevant when you get over 100m a year just for being in the Prem. You stay there with a plan, some guile, structure and luck. Without that, we won't. That's in a sense my only point.

You have to create the right platform for success. Not sure how we did things 10 years ago or who we played is remotely relevant.

M bought Forest to make money. He's not the tooth fairy or Mother Theresa. If he sold it tomorrow he'd make a fortune.

Maybe you could try my situation of changing numerous trains in a wheelchair from Cornwall to Nottingham, trying to traverse platforms with lifts mostly out of order and then the 'big push' from the premier inn to the CG.

Just watched in full the OG interview. This will without a doubt cause some discontent in the squad. I expect OG to make 5 changes at least against City. If he doesn't then the players won't get the message he means business.

Personally I think he's lost the dressing room but we have to ask why have so many managers in the last couple of years done the same ? Who's at fault here ? The players, manager or a bit of both ?

Whatever the players think of glasner is for them to sort, but once they cross that white line onto the pitch they are playing for the paying public, so if they don't perform which they aren't they are letting the supporters down and that's disgraceful, could you imagine cloughy putting up with mardy footballers, none of them would survive in the real world.


If players are forcing managers out because they are being worked to hard or playing a different system that is just wrong and my heart bleeds for them, poor little pampered prima donnas.
There are some bad apples it that squad and they need outing.

My worry is while Glasner has won cups, the fact he's only managed five wins. From his last thirty two games in the prem, thats appalling by any standards.

I've supported the mighty NFFC since I was about 8 years old, sitting behind the girder at the back of the Trent End.
Last season I was shocked and amazed at the lack of managerial clout brought in by Mr M. Nuno was doing ok, git us into Europe, happy bunnies.

Then we had Nuno implode, followed by some Aussie knob from Spurs, who couldn't get picked in a brewery! Then SD followed, got us some results, but not Forest football. So in came VP, exciting attacking football, scoring goals for fun. The players wanted to play for him, the fans loved him and all was rosey.

I was looking forward to the new season, despite Geordie Maradina going to Mancheats City.
OMG I hear VP is sacked and OG was brought in! WHY?
So now we have a group of players (not a team) playing defensive football, not scoring goals, 2nd from bottom and a manager who blames everyone except himself!
I love NFFC and it breaks my heart that yet again it's a relegation battle, and we've only played 9 games!
Forest till I die, but wow they make me cry!

Just a better view Cyclist ( though mucky and uncomfortable) over the heads of taller adults when you're a kid.
My Dad made me a red and white painted wooden block to stand on. He used to wedge me into the Bridgford End of the ( then) Main Stand between a vertical girder and the wall separating the standing area from the seating area. With him stood in front of and me looking over his head and no where to fall.


You'd never get into the Ground now as that stool was quite solid and potentially a lethal weapon.
I stood on that in the Trent End with my Dad for the Everton 6th round FA Cup game. When ISM's hatrick goal went in I remember he had 3 attempts at it and when it finally went in I was lifted off my stool and remained wedged in the air for the rest of the game such was the crush ???.
