Ndoye hooked after 65 minutes against third rate opposition like Qatar! Not done enough in the game and not playing with enough intensity as per his usual performances for us. How many players like this can we carry next season?

0

13 Jun 2026 21:57:50
Was hoping he would have a decent World Cup so we could get decent money for him. Doubt we will get 34 million back.

2

13 Jun 2026 22:02:43
That was some header. 🀣 🌳

1

13 Jun 2026 22:07:10
Bet that ruined a few acca's.

2

13 Jun 2026 23:37:20
That's it, 67, as I keep on saying on here. Fans with the dollar signs, like Anderson. Is it the player you're interested in, or the money? It cannot be an easy initial game, with the nerves.

0

13 Jun 2026 23:41:41
Some game so far, two brilliant goals. Looks like Vini is carrying Brazil. 🌳

0

13 Jun 2026 18:44:50
I'm looking forward to tonight's games. Ndoye starts for the Swiss, Brazil vs Morocco should be a cracker. Can Haiti keep the haggis munchers quiet? On paper they have some good players. 🌳

1

13 Jun 2026 19:55:10
Bless ya, Winter, keeping the site alive. πŸ‘

1

13 Jun 2026 20:26:39
All this ultra accurate tech being employed, looked offside to me. 🀣 🌳

1

13 Jun 2026 20:38:32
Just watching Frueler for the Swiss...
Should never have let him go...

1

13 Jun 2026 20:43:06
He looked average at best for us, but whenever I've seen him play for the Swiss he looks brilliant. 🌳

1

13 Jun 2026 20:48:49
Watched first forty mins of Swiss game, turned it off.
Boring.

1

13 Jun 2026 21:01:22
Ndoye could have had a hat full. 🌳

1

13 Jun 2026 21:26:44
Only joking.
😊

1

13 Jun 2026 21:34:32
Qatar shouldn't be on the same pitch
This is the problem with this world cup, to many poor teams that don't stand a chance

0

13 Jun 2026 22:02:03
Dtp strikes again. 🀣🀣🀣 🌳.

1

13 Jun 2026 22:07:57
Was just thinking same. πŸ˜…

1

13 Jun 2026 22:21:00
Wasn't worth watching.
Got better things to do than watch tv, and especially a crap game. Enjoy the next pike coming up, I won't bother tuning in, that's a cert.

0

13 Jun 2026 22:27:42
Brazil v Morocco coming up...

Should be a good game. Wouldn't like to call it.

Scotland v Haiti, likewise.

Looking forward to Holland v Japan tomorrow. Another good un....

1

13 Jun 2026 12:27:22
Sir Kevin Sinfield never had an award been so deserved proper man no sirs and graces raised over 11m for MND πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

6

13 Jun 2026 13:10:30
Yes mate,.... absolute legend.

5

13 Jun 2026 15:26:29
About bloody time. Legend.

3

13 Jun 2026 20:25:13
Apparently, he couldn't be knighted because he was already an MBE, and there has to be a certain amount of time before he could be upgraded.
Something like that, anyway, and utterly deserved.

2

13 Jun 2026 20:35:20
One of my heroes in life. Sir Kevin is an inspiration for us all. Belated and so well-deserved.

1

13 Jun 2026 10:19:24
Yanks started ok. I always remember the keeper Matt Turner (just my opinion). I think we give the laddie a hard time. Never really give him a chance.

2

13 Jun 2026 11:09:07
I was really impressed with them, mate, great energy. Pulisic and Balogun can cause problems to any side in the competition. 🌳

2

13 Jun 2026 11:44:34
Matt Turner was poor, in my opinion, mate.
His distribution was more than suspect.

6

13 Jun 2026 11:53:36
Didn't get to see, but their teams are always well organised and exceptionally fit. They just run and run. Japan are very much like that also.

2

13 Jun 2026 17:15:30
Turner was very poor. He had enough chances, but all he did was collect the ball out of the net!

2

13 Jun 2026 18:00:43
Sba, you obviously never played the position.

2

13 Jun 2026 20:27:28
Turner was never good enough to be number 1 in the Premier League. Arsenal bench is one thing, same as Muric from Man City. Poor signings both.

1

12 Jun 2026 11:14:14
I haven't been to Skeggy since I saw some terrible scenes on the beach as a kid .
There was a man and a woman arguing violently in front of a load of kids, then a Policeman turned up and hit the man with his baton, they started fighting and the man managed to take the baton off the Policeman and beat him unconscious .

I was traumatised
Then a crocodile turned up and stole all the sausages . πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€ͺπŸ™„.

8

12 Jun 2026 13:31:55
Skeggys, too good for the likes of you, Stokie. You stick to your historical tours. In the likes of Disneyland and Lapland, where you get to sit on Santa's knees and give him a lecture on history. 😁

4

12 Jun 2026 13:38:03
I always enjoyed Skegs, Skegs, mate. My Mam and Dad had a caravan at Trusthorpe. Many happy times there. Bracing, as the advert says, plus great offers on recliners.
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

1

12 Jun 2026 14:16:51
I go downtown for my recliners, electric leather massage, beer holder and little fridge apartment in arm. Living the dream. 😁 And no wonder it was bracing in Trusthorpe in the middle of fields, nothing there lol.

1

12 Jun 2026 14:19:39
"Downtown" Skeg! It must be like the Bronx, mate. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

1

12 Jun 2026 14:34:01
Nothing wrong with bronx. Or the people who live in it.you stick to your downtown Abbey with your little finger poking up while sipping your tea.mean while in the real world 🀣

1

12 Jun 2026 14:41:26
Just remember Stokey, the tour guide, is in charge; you're only there to learn, so let him get a word in. πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

1

12 Jun 2026 17:03:03
My son loves Ingoldmells... I just sit around and have a few pints and take in the sea breeze (when it isn't wazzing it down)...

He makes me sit through endless karaoke though, which is a bit painful.

1

12 Jun 2026 17:23:28
Karaoke and 2.50 pint and Skeggy full blast breeze can't beat it.

1

12 Jun 2026 17:57:12
Cheap beer and overpriced fish n chips. What's not to like?

0

12 Jun 2026 18:08:02
Looking from the beach. "Windmills of your mind."

1

12 Jun 2026 18:14:07
And dog s**** on your shoes.

3

12 Jun 2026 18:27:12
I have heard that the NHS in your area, Skegs, has a huge backlog of people waiting for their sense of humour and charisma bypass operations, mate. I take it you've had yours already? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

2

12 Jun 2026 18:32:18
Bingo and cranes trying to pick up soft toys.
Same as most seaside places tbh.
Blackpool the worst, Yarmouth, Rhyl, Cleethorpes, Weston-super-Mare, Southend, Margate, Scarborough, Bridlington, even Newquay.

0

12 Jun 2026 18:45:49
I've never had a sense of humour, Stokie. If I don't like someone, I'm sure I make it clear so they know. Out of every 100 people I meet, I think I would just about get on with one, if they're lucky.

😁 I don't like laughing. I think comedians are stupid, and especially the people who pay to go and see them. I've gone through life with a very small circle of people, and that's the way I like it. 😁

1

12 Jun 2026 18:56:13
You're right, dtp. But, when I fancy a 10 min walk, I get to walk along the beach, which is usually quiet. The area I go to, nobody is about, so I sit there with my dog and a can of Stella and enjoy the view of the sea and the peace and quiet.

Where do many of you go after a 10 min walk for a nice view and peace and quiet?

2

12 Jun 2026 19:09:38
Glad you said "Walk", mate!!!.
πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

1

12 Jun 2026 19:11:34
Exactly Skegs, beach+dog+tinny, you speak my language.πŸΊπŸΊπŸ”†

0

12 Jun 2026 19:20:12
"If they're lucky." πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

0

12 Jun 2026 19:33:02
Being genuine now, Skeggs. Yes, I get that, and fair play, mate.
A walk along any beach, away from tourists, is always a different experience.

0

12 Jun 2026 20:00:04
I take my dog to a place where I live, where a segment of Game of Thrones was filmed... Stunning views, I get where you're coming from, Skeggs. The peace and tranquility is great for the soul.

0

12 Jun 2026 20:08:35
I just step into back garden tbh.
Got everything I need from life.

0

12 Jun 2026 21:02:01
Anyone think we'll get the 130 million for Anderson?
It would be a big loss but a game changer for Forest imo.

0

12 Jun 2026 21:05:55
North Yorkshire Moors for me.
Just 10 minutes from where I am, complete solitude and stunning scenery.

0

12 Jun 2026 22:32:08
Let's be honest, some great places to live in this country, unless you are unfortunate enough to live in Derby or Leicester. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Mind you, Stoke-on-Trent is a dump as well. πŸ˜‚

0

12 Jun 2026 22:39:04
Sounds great Gazzi. Well, that's me off site for a bit, lads. Keep the banter going. Bringing my dad home from hospital tomorrow, so he can have his last bit of time with the family. uredddssss.

2

12 Jun 2026 22:59:37
I walk up to Forest Road, breath in the bus and lorry fumes, avoid making eye contact with the ladies of the night and crack dealers then pretend not to have any change to the fake homeless scroungers on the way back from the shop. Inner city life is great!

2

13 Jun 2026 08:14:12
Skeggs, we know we have our disagreements, mate. Just know you'll be in my thoughts. Now go make some more brilliant memories.
😊

0

13 Jun 2026 08:29:18
I agree about parts of Stoke on Trent DTP. I'm glad I don't live there, mate.

0

13 Jun 2026 09:10:44
Skeggs, I had no idea of the impending loss of your Dad, and I offer my deepest and genuine condolences. I've lost my Dad (and younger sister), and it leaves a big, big hole in life. All the best, mate.

1

13 Jun 2026 11:11:08
Just watched an appalling "Interview" featuring Jermain Jenas being questioned by Kate Garroway and Ranvir Singh especially.
Over his behaviour that led to him being sacked...
I personally think he handles their goading superbly well, very articulate, and has admitted what he did was completely wrong so many times?
As he said he wasn't "On here wanting my job back".

However, Rooney can screw around, Carragher spits in a kid's face... yet keeps his job?
Shame on them pair!!!

3

13 Jun 2026 14:42:08
Plus ca change, as the Germans say, eh Cyclist. Spent many hours on Forest Road (on the law enforcement side, obviously).
Once, I spotted a bloke in his car kerb crawling. I said to my partner, "It would be better if you dealt with this one, mate."
When he asked why, I told him he was my cricket team captain at Bulwell CC....
Awks....

1

13 Jun 2026 16:50:20
I have family who worked at Canning Circus on vice.

0

13 Jun 2026 16:50:52
Typical Bulwell type then? πŸ˜‚

0

11 Jun 2026 18:58:34
Be careful this evening tonight gentlemen, don't want to be doing a hip whilst dancing along to the opening ceremony 🀭🌳

2

11 Jun 2026 19:56:10
Loved the speech. Just like to thank the cartel for the stadium. Anyone looking for spice on your hot dogs, make your way downstairs. Meth, see the peanut bloke.

2

11 Jun 2026 20:02:13
Had all the Geordies biting today, most saying they knew Toon wouldn't have a clause. I said I call it Santa clause.

1

11 Jun 2026 20:18:43
After that first touch, I would imagine Sithole will be staying there for the rest of the game. 🌳

3

12 Jun 2026 10:11:14
What made me laugh about the speech was 'the game of football is for everyone.' Tell that to Saint-Maximin and his family. Driven out of Club America (who, incidentally, play their home games @Estadio Azteca) because of the colour of their skin. 🌳

2

12 Jun 2026 11:18:47
Sorry to go on about the BBC, but there's a tremendous article by their Economic Editor Faisal Ahmed on the economic model for this World Cup. It's designed entirely to rip the fans off, with little outlay from the Government.
Renting stadiums and dynamic pricing are the key.
Well worth a read.
Beware, it may arrive in the UK. It's already PSG's system...

1

12 Jun 2026 12:57:37
Faisal Islam, not Ahmed.

1

12 Jun 2026 13:17:31
I read the BBC a lot, it's usually biased reporting, football-wise, by reporters with limited knowledge of the game, or extreme left wing bullcrap. If I didn't have to pay a licence and they didn't have free football on, I'd ditch it.
As for ticket prices, etc., I watched the highlights of the game in the early hours this morning, half-full stadium to watch what was a good, competitive game.

Shame, really, but that's FIFA's and the US's fault.
Get the tournament back in Europe or Africa and have fair prices. 🌳

3

12 Jun 2026 13:19:58
Actually, more fool me, the football isn't free, is it? 🀣🌳

Very good DTP!

2

11 Jun 2026 18:07:24
That's what a Forest Banter team would probably look like.

4

11 Jun 2026 18:59:48
I agree, Gaz. Can you even imagine a Forest Banter 5 a side team? An average weight of 17.5 stone with 35% body fat - a team ranging in age from 50 to 70 (apart from Winter, who is still awaiting puberty at 12 years old) and severely bad attitudes from each and every player!

5

11 Jun 2026 19:07:50
I'll be Bobby the Waterboy. πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈπŸŒ³

1

11 Jun 2026 19:09:33
6 or 7 red cards nailed on every game...
Plenty of "over the top" tackles thrown in as well.

2

11 Jun 2026 19:30:56
More like the 'Cabin Boy' in the naval days of old Winter.

1

11 Jun 2026 19:55:31
The Cabin Boy is far too clever for me. 🀣 I'd have to be Seaman Staines. 🌳

2

11 Jun 2026 21:56:24
I'm still fit, but my ankles are not great. I'm in if RedHotRed is manager. I'd love to see his touchline demeanor. 😁

3

11 Jun 2026 23:15:48
Stick me in goal, (Kes).

2

11 Jun 2026 23:46:52
I'd love Stokey to be the commentator at our 5 a side game. He'd still be talking about the correlation between the game and the battle of Troy long after the ground had emptied.

2

12 Jun 2026 10:48:58
Lego, it was a siege lasting 10 years. It ended only when the Greeks staged a pretend evacuation to their ships and left the Trojan Horse behind, containing warriors who opened up the city gates from the inside.

My commentary would have ended with the words "The Trojans think it's all over... IT IS NOW". πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

1

12 Jun 2026 14:21:37
Lol watch the film and spot the 747 in the battle scene. πŸ˜‰πŸŒ³

0

11 Jun 2026 08:42:04
How can Manchester City be allowed to bid 125m for Anderson and now say they want Gibbs White as well!

Given they are facing charges of 117 breaches of FFP!

This farce has gone on long enough now they are as guilty as hell but their lawyers are appealing everything.

Everton and Forest were docked pts.

Cheats never prosper! Apart from in the Premier League apparently.

5

11 Jun 2026 09:44:04
We should take the money and then refuse to let them go as our part of the settlement.

0

11 Jun 2026 10:37:05
We should cash in. No way he's worth that.

1

11 Jun 2026 12:42:49
You naughty boy, Skeggs.
πŸ˜‰

2

11 Jun 2026 12:59:32
I'm being serious, Rogie. I don't know where these valuations come from. Start of last season I wouldn't of gave 20 million for him. I'm quite happy for him to stay, obviously more than happy. But, me personally, I would of took the 120 million, bought a case of Stella and had a party.

1

11 Jun 2026 12:47:28
I'm thinking along Ed 1 s lines mate where Man City are so wealthy that they will take the hit ( points, embargo, fine whatever) and ride it out .

1

11 Jun 2026 14:09:35
It's being reported today that clubs who have been direct rivals to City are getting advice on legal moves. Apparently, they want 100 million each if City are found guilty. Seeing as we challenged them for a Champions League place, and lost an FA Cup semi to them, we had better be one of those clubs. 🌳

5

11 Jun 2026 14:20:06
Just hope no one thinks of suing us when we were docked 4 points? Glass houses and stones, etc.

2

11 Jun 2026 15:11:31
I did think that, Stokey, Luton in particular. 🌳

2

11 Jun 2026 19:10:09
Going back to them wanting both Anderson and MGW, we should demand a straight swap, our pair for Haaland. 🌳

1

10 Jun 2026 19:08:27
I shouldn't laugh, but please check out the current conditions in Florida. Hoping the lads have packed their armbands and rubber ducks. Monsoon. 🀣🌳

3

10 Jun 2026 20:31:24
Should well acclimatised then!!!

3

10 Jun 2026 20:53:18
Puts a whole new meaning to across the pond. 🀣🌳

2

10 Jun 2026 23:44:59
Wow, missed some right sitters in this friendly.

2

11 Jun 2026 00:26:52
Watching the after match, who dresses Roy Keane?
That's a s*** shirt. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

3

11 Jun 2026 05:12:46
Not as bad as the United one he wore!!.
🀣🀣🀣

6

10 Jun 2026 16:46:06
Has anyone seen that Everton have been ordered to pay Burnley 35 million? It relates to the 2021-22 season when Burnley went down. They argued that because Everton broke FFP rules (they got a points deduction from following year along with us) they had unfairly got a sporting advantage.

Now surely this will open a can of worms so to speak. Think City and their pending charges. Possibly even ourselves. 🌳

2

10 Jun 2026 17:07:14
It's an intriguing thought, RRH. Sports law is very opaque, so I've no idea how it works.
I still think Man City have the best defender in the Premiership... their lawyer.... πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

4

10 Jun 2026 17:19:18
I have no idea either mate, it looks from the outside that they just make it up as they go along. 🌳

2

10 Jun 2026 20:06:46
No I only heard it on the radio winter. πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

1

10 Jun 2026 21:45:57
Massive can of worms. Man City owe us the money we should have got for being in the Champions League, as they qualified after gaining an unfair advantage by cheating all these years. They should have been relegated about 6 years ago.

2

10 Jun 2026 22:22:05
It's the can of worms that needs opening though.
Everton are a platform to bring City down.

2

10 Jun 2026 23:09:41
Exactly my point, DTP. 🌳

2

10 Jun 2026 23:25:11
If City aren't punished during the close season and allowed to carry on spending, then the Premier have to be held accountable.
If it carries into the new season, then fans can do their bit at games by demonstrating and staying outside of grounds when they play away.
It's the only way something will happen.
