If Man City are not handed a commensurate punishment then that will open up an even bigger mess for the PL as those clubs like Forest and Everton will have grounds for counter claims and damages. The crimes, as that is what fraud is, were multi season events and the punishment should be equally meted out so it has to be expulsion from all league football, a 900 million pound fine, stripped of all titles, nothing else is acceptable.
They are a stain on the game! Wonder what Anderson thinks about his move now?

Anderson will be alright financially, but you have to question the advice he got to join man city, he should have stayed at Nottingham Forest for this season.

I'm sure Ando regrets his decision with hindsight but I'd be amazed if he didn't have a buy out clause in his contract. Any top club, here in the UK or abroad would snatch his hand off if the opportunity arose to sign him.

The magnitude of the crime will not be matched by the punishment in my opinion.
They will get off relatively lightly.
Nothing less than league 2 and 5 year transfer ban is acceptable but it won't be anything like that. You just see.

The answer is more than most because I always had a heavy workload and lots of evidence to record.?
RRH, Police Pocket Books had numbered pages and a unique serial number signed out to you by a Sergeant or above. Where individual pages or indeed whole pocket books were missing ( ie on your example of bog paper) it was a sackable disciplinary offence. Were the books contained written evidence for Court cases you could face 10 years for perverting the course of justice,.
At the very least if your PB got eaten by the dog or lost on the washing machine, it was a full General Report as to the circumstances and investigation by C and D ( Complaints and Discipline or Professional Standards as they are now known)
Some serious ?would be hitting the fan.
The used PBs would be kept under lock and key for many years.

I hope you are wrong Gazzi. Bear in mind anything at all can be dealt with by way of Judicial Review in HM Courts by HM Judges for reasons of fairness and principles. It doesn't have to be a Sports Court and it can go all the way to the Supreme Court.
Legal principles trump any kangaroo court run by the Premiership or anybody else and their rulings are binding in the UK ( and subject to certain minor matters Europe.
But who knows mate? I never thought ( especially after the Chelsea whitewash) that it would get this far.

That can happen, its similar to the effects of spontaneous human combustion. A mega hot vinaloo the night before, then by the morning it comes out like larva, they call it VPS. Scientists say its often fatal, so waking up with 'Vindapoo Pringles Syndrome' is something that i wouldn't wish on anyone because 'Once you plop, you just can't stop'. ???.

A lot of fun and points scoring put downs of defence barristers at Crown Court could be had via PBs.
For example, it was common practice ( certainly with Junior Barristers, the Senior ones were wise to it and avoided this) to staple down the pages not relating to the court case being heard. An unwary barrister, perhaps keen to impress the jury, would point this out implying some nefarious conduct on the part of the Police and ask why?
The put down answer was "‘Wrll sir, the pages stapled down relate to private and sensitive matters not for your eyes and not related to this hearing. Of course, if his Homour Judge so and so wishes to see the unrelated pages I'd be happy to oblige. Straight away flatters the Judge, gets him or her on side, pricks the pomposity of the barrister,, shows him and the jury that he's not as important as he thinks he is and says, subtly " I'm not frightened of you mate, even we're on your home turf, a courtroom. Tells the jury also that I'm trustworthy and can be trusted with the private secrets contained in my PB.
Some pro Police Judges ( my own favourite was Judge Matthewman) would even administer a public put down such as " That won't be necessary Officer: I don't allow defence fishing expeditions in my Court” or once, to my immense gratification, " Well Mr defence barrister, you fell into that giant elephant trap I'm afraid”.'
I even caused a defeated Defence barrister to sit down abruptly, mutter " No further questions " and wrap his gown around himself like a petulant child. All in front of a jury.
Mind games. I used to love them and never lost a case
All from a small PB.

Unfortunately I think we will lose Anderson, he's developed at Forest into a fine midfielder, a wonderful player. Hopefully we can reinvest the Anderson money wisely and keep hold of the rest. I really like VP, he is a person given the time and playing talent that can build something special.

Balloons even by your standards that's pathetic, Anderson was part of a transfer of convenience, he apparently never wanted to leave Newcastle, but for psr reasons was shifted out. He came to Nottingham and as a professional footballer has played to the best of his ability, never given a minute's trouble, and has always been available, I have personally never seen him ' kiss the badge, " I've never heard him say he's a Forest fan, he's just got on with his job, if he leaves, he leaves on Forest's terms, because he is under contract, I would personally wish him the best of luck.

I’m not so sure after his spell at Spurs his value has gone down rather than up. If he’s not getting games he will want out. Would be a great player in our squad, would get more game time at Forest.
Rotating CHO, Hutchinson and Johnson would give us real options. Dan Ndoye has struggled, made a bright start but has for some reason not established himself.

Would be a great fit for our side, has got goals in him, would be welcomed back into the club with a far stronger squad than he left. Must admit the last couple of games young Hutchinson has impressed me, not only with offensive work but tracking back also. Also Elanga struggling to impress, he will be the next one muted for a move.
