Our recent record at Chelsea is pretty good, so we could get something there!
Our recent record against the Geordies at home isn't that good!
Man Utd away has been a good place for us, so you never know in football.
Bournmouth, well bogie team time, we don't do well against them, maybe another draw.
The good things in our favour, is the way VP is setting the team up. The confidence the team are stepping onto the pitch with, and the fact we have Woody back up top - we are scoring goals.
As for the Villa 2 legs, it's anyone's game to win. 2-1 at TWFCG and a 5-5 again at Villa Park!

Did we miss the one trick pony Cho against the Mackems? ... Not for me, he's frustrated me all season...Got the talent but somehow he looks as though he's not up for it.....His injury might be a blessing in disguise for the run in.
28 Apr 2026 15:07:11
Only just had chance to post after Friday's match... My favourite memory from lwas Ryan Yates laughing at Xshaka after he'd elbowed him in the chops... just love the lad but a bit of a liability at times.
28 Apr 2026 12:34:07.
Point at Chelsea win against Newcastle at TWFCG job done imo 43 pts. Spurs can only get 46 if they win all their games. West Ham can get 48 but they will have to win all their games and that is not going to happen.
27 Apr 2026 20:28:48
There’s a long way to go yet. We can’t win all our league games left and West Ham and Spurs could still get wins. Plus we have to play in the Europa Cup and that will tax the players’ stamina. As we know it’s not over till it’s over. I’m not comfortable by any means, sorry!
27 Apr 2026 20:40:40
No need to be sorry, bsered. I would imagine most Forest fans won't be a 100 percent until we hit the points where we are safe.
27 Apr 2026 21:05:32
Hey, Bsered, mate. I'm still bricking it, so no need to apologise.
27 Apr 2026 21:08:35
Definitely maybe?
27 Apr 2026 22:20:34
Gazz, football is an entertainment sport to look forward to after a week at work.
I can't understand bricking it tbh.
We've seen so much worse in the Championship and League One to worry where we are now.
Spurs fans would swop with us now, as points in the bag are what counts, and we have them.
28 Apr 2026 08:24:59
Ff mate, I know it's supposed to be entertainment, and in a masochistic way I have enjoyed this season, but I would not say I've been entertained that much (recent run and a couple of others excepted).
The City Ground is not around the corner for me, it's a full day out, and I don't even get to have a pub stop off, so another Championship season might mean I'd have to reconsider, and that's not really what I want to do.
So yes, I am bricking it because I drive, park, walk and watch the match, and that's it.
And that takes 10 hours.
28 Apr 2026 10:36:14
I see "Stan The Man" has vowed to give his ticket to the Final to a "Tricky Tree" if they get through... However he's stated he wants Villa to win, which is fair enough as he's a Villa fan...
Sorry Stan, your gonna be disappointed mate.
Uuuuu Redddss!!!
28 Apr 2026 10:45:16
Has Stevie F been on lately???
27 Apr 2026 18:02:06
Questions for you all,
Which is your main focus on the struggle throughout the season? Oi, don't get me wrong, still loads to play for.
1 = owner
2 = Edu
3 = players
4 = coaching staff
5 = money spent.
I wanna see them fingers. Say what ya see.
27 Apr 2026 18:28:05
1 = owner full stop.
27 Apr 2026 18:28:44
Got to say, it all started with Edu coming in. He was responsible for recruitment and spending Mr Ms money (not a bottomless pit). As for our owner, probably the best owner the club has ever had, I think he's spread himself a little bit thin this season, running three clubs I believe.
Then there was the loss of his mother, which hit him hard, and now global shipping is suffering because of Iran. All combined, it has to have taken a toll on the man. We're going in the right direction, Bowie, but it's not over yet.
27 Apr 2026 18:43:35
Brilliant reply Vale, my friend.
Skegs, bud, he invested more than anyone and, for me, with honour, bud. Just saying.
27 Apr 2026 19:14:32
Yes, he's invested a lot of money. That's what a good owner does. What a good owner doesn't do is hire and listen to the wrong people. Not only has he done it once, he's done it numerous times, including listening to a group of players about sacking a manager, getting involved with arguments on the pitch with managers, etc., etc.
And, at the end of the day, he won't walk away from this club skint. But the club could end up that way, and ending up like teams like Wednesday, fester, etc. Still has a lot to learn. And let's see what he does with Peirra if he keeps us up. Just my opinion, whether you like it or not.
27 Apr 2026 19:33:00
Can't say you're wrong, Skegsjay. What you say is the other side of the coin, and as far as I can see, it has a lot of merit. And that's where the problem lies. He could easily walk away and leave the club high and dry. Too many fingers in too many pies.
27 Apr 2026 19:55:56
Thank you Redvale, like I say just my opinion. And I don't expect a lot of people to agree, but that's their opinion. I'm not saying he's a bad owner, but he has made a lot of mistakes over the last 12 months.
He just needs to take a step back. You don't see other top club owners grabbing headlines for the wrong reasons like he does.
27 Apr 2026 20:10:48
Spot on. The "gang of five" episode was outrageous and shameful and should never have happened. And, to be honest, I never thought it could happen at Forest. I'm sure there are plenty on this site who would disagree, but it has to be said.
27 Apr 2026 20:25:04
Nuno messed the season up.
Had a grudge, but signed a new contract and then orchestrated a nice pay off.
Simple.
27 Apr 2026 20:44:55
That's your opinion, Dtp. But we all know how you felt about Nuno, proving you wrong the whole time he was the Forest manager. So that might seem a bit biased coming from you. But, like I say, everyone is entitled to their opinion, pal.
27 Apr 2026 20:49:37
Well done, Bowie, for starting this debate. You could easily reinvent yourself as a therapist. Your post has brought out a lot of honesty. Well done, mate.
27 Apr 2026 20:49:40
Ball is in Mr Ms court, sadly. He brought innocent Edu, who, quite frankly, doesn't know a footballer from a horse! You can lead a horse to water, because it knows it needs to drink. The players Edu brought have no clue what a football is, no clue what running is, and need a satnav to find the goal!
27 Apr 2026 20:50:33
Thats the truth, Skeggs.
You dont sign a new 3 year contract and then start moaning.
We beat Brentford comfortably and got a good point at Palace, so why did Nuno throw the towel in against West Ham at home?
27 Apr 2026 21:00:54
Thank ya Vale. 👍
27 Apr 2026 21:21:19
You also don't bring in 3 other managers and sack the person that caused the biggest problem edu if you was wrong.
We're in the semi finals of Europe thanks to your mate nuno no matter what you blame him for also were in a relegation battle for the same reason nuno left he wasn't backed getting the right players in to compete in both the Premier and Europe fact hence why Mr m had to agree in the end and sack edu.🤣 what part about sacking edu that Mr m made do you not understand it really isn't rocket science
27 Apr 2026 22:12:55
You're missing the point, Skeggs, we'd of been fine and Nuno might actually have won something for once in his life as a coach.
But he had other ideas.
It's there to see, no one wanted his to go, not keast Marinakis, but he deliberatly made his position untenable, not arguing about putting Ange and then Dyche in charge as they werent a fit, but you can only get in who is available, and Marinakis wasnt expecting Nuno to do what he did in public more than once.
Marinakis is the owner, Nuno was the employee.
Nuno was rewarded for his achievments, getting us to Europe, but he wanted out with a good pay off.
27 Apr 2026 22:44:17
Nuno started the early season horror show, then Mr M had a complete mare in hiring Ange. When he went whoever thought hiring Cretaceous Dyche was a good idea needs sacking. Easily some of the worst football I've watched from us, he was bailed out on occasion by the talent we have within the squad. Funny how it was that talent who had the meeting with Mr M.
Now we have a top class Coach, tactically great, clearly a fantastic at motivating the lads and gets a tune out of players we all thought were terrible.
We still have a chance of Silverware, Champions League qualification is within reach. But we still need a handful of points to make sure of safety.
To be honest, and be honest, who of you would have predicted the above a few months ago? Not me that's for sure. COYR 🌳
27 Apr 2026 23:30:16
I thank ya all, reds, all from the heart. No bitching. Just straight to the point. 👍
28 Apr 2026 06:41:22
Late reply, apologies.
It's a combination of a few errors, I believe.
Marinakis for hiring and instilling trust in Edu.
Edu for making bad errors on signings.
Dyche and the wombat have their roles to play.
However, I do believe VP has proved he knows what he is doing, and that shows how the team have found a bond with him.
I don't blame Nuno despite him leaving. He probably left because of Edu, but that boat has sailed.
I would stick with VP, and would not appoint Silva if he's on the Big Greek's sight.
27 Apr 2026 17:52:14
Quick one on VAR and Refs linesman etc etc. As the season closes. This season I think we've actually come along with the rest of em. Ie decisions etc. Probably our best season. Still wrong the lot of it. But there again so we're just linesman and refs. So plz don't say go back to old days.
27 Apr 2026 15:08:05.
Shame about Simmons of Spurs, a year out and will miss the World Cup! On the plus side he's one of Spurs better players!
Now then Chaps and Chappettes, the handball incident in the West Ham v Everton game! No pen because it was 'accidental'? He reached around the Everton player and swotted the ball out of play!!
Accidental my arise! VAR. 😆 🤣 😂
27 Apr 2026 16:57:05
Terrible play actor of a player, he doesn't need to resort to that.
27 Apr 2026 17:17:27
Blatant handball, his hand moved towards the ball, and if you watch it carefully, he looks over the attacker's shoulder. He knew what he was doing. 🌳
27 Apr 2026 17:18:14
Actually agreed, Keeff, but that's what netball players do.
26 Apr 2026 20:56:51
Massive well done to all the players and supporters for the run of eight undefeated and particularly the first half exhibition v the mackems. The last four game run is a huge test and is making me very nervous. However, we now have the best manager in charge that we have had for a long time imo, and also the best man to keep us up. He inherited a shambles in case you have forgotten, and his personality, man management skills, tactical knowledge, etc.
have been very impressive, eg. brave enough to play two up front to break our long running goal drought. He has won numerous European Premier League titles in places like Greece, Turkey, Porto, so he has got the tee shirt and even if the very worst happened he should still be in the driving seat next season. I feel we now have a manager to take Forest forward, if Mr. M. allows it. U Reds.
26 Apr 2026 21:26:03
Yes, Retford, from what I've seen of him and the fact he's not scared to switch things up and change things around, definitely.
26 Apr 2026 21:43:49
Totally agree.
But, im not worried with our run in at all.
Spurs have the toughest, because they need us to lose in the first place twice, and win two themselves.
Points in the bank are what counts, and we already have them.
26 Apr 2026 22:05:03
The thing is, with Vitor he has a plan A.
A plan B.
A plan C.
Under Dyche the opposition always knew the set up, they haven't a clue under Vitor.
He's a confident person, always smiling, and has given the players confidence.
Genius putting MGW on the wing.
The room he gets to attack, and come into the box behind the full back, makes him unmarkable.
Playing Jesus off Wood is a great tactic.
That's why I feel no need to worry about our remaining fixtures. One win from us screws the rest of them.
27 Apr 2026 08:47:08
I tend to agree also, Retford.
The last sentence of your post is very important, though.
With Mr M, we can all expect the unexpected. Anything could happen in the managerial department, as crazy as that sounds.
27 Apr 2026 10:34:45
VP is an excellent tactician and flexible. I love to see what he's writing down on his note pad! A thinking man's coach, experienced, been there and done it abroad and very well liked by Wolves fans (according to my mate who currently inhabits "The Slough of Despond" as written about by John Bunyan).
He's ambitious and won't take much nonsense from the owner. He'll be off if he doesn't get the backing. I'm thinking his first demand was don't let Edu anywhere near me or my team. Great man manager. When we get out of our present scrape, he needs to be cherished, not crossed, like Nuno was.
27 Apr 2026 21:51:23
Well said Stokey. 👍🌳
26 Apr 2026 19:00:06
For me and the Chelsea game.
For me reds, don't beat yourselves up on this game. The coach and players are just providing everything we ask for. Obviously European games taken their toll on Forest. (What I'm saying is, let's not be too hard on the club) for this game. ❤️ FTID.
26 Apr 2026 21:27:47
Wise words, my friend, very wise words.
27 Apr 2026 10:35:19
