I'm not a regular poster on here, but love the banter from the regulars. Trouble is when there's no footy, things get a bit chaotic and now we've got nearly 3 weeks of stupid, boring international breaks. I bet poor old Stokey hates it. let's try and be civil and all "live the Oliver Glasner Nightmare". ?.

When I started with my present job 7 years ago we had a good department manager who we all respected and got on with.
he was moved on for career development and since have had 6 managers and morale never been the same.the first manager is coming back next week and everybody is happy and looking forward to his return. Periera for me is our guys equivalent. Glasner looks like he needs a charisma injection, MGW our talisman was on fire and the squad looked one. I just don't get it!!

Im perfectly comfortable in my skin thanks, Stokey, i freely admit to holidaying in Brighton a few times, I've even been to watch the 'Scissor Sisters' in a gay bar down there, i was accompanied by two old Naval lesbian friends. I had a fantastic night. Although i was relieved to get home and remove the cork i stuffed up my rear, no unexpected rear entries and all that.
So no need to lecture us on coming out, I've always considered those type of people as the real closet ones. By the way incase you get the wrong idea, im perfectly straight, have two sons and am married(to a female), never touched a man, so please don't flirt with me ??

Red Robin, one of my closest friends (and my first best man), was a matelot. He did 12 years in the RN, then joined Nottinghamshire Police, and we worked on the CID together. Popped over to see him and his wife in Stapleford a week ago.
He was on the Bulwark (the rusty B), stationed in Malta, Gib, then at a control centre near Marble Arch. He had a bit of bad luck with bowel cancer recently, but is still in fine form.
