I do hope Ando doesn't sign for city as all the press suggest. why would you want to risk being another Grealish, you would think at his age he would want to be playing every week, i'm not sure he's a good fit in that team anyway!. accept he will move on but please not to them.

If he does I hope we get plenty of money for him. ?

2.) 06 Mar 2026 14:32:30
Yes, he's bound for richer clubs, and it's good business if we stay up and use the money wisely.

3.) 06 Mar 2026 17:36:58
Use the money wisely? That's a good un, Jester.
If he goes, I don't care where. He won't be ours, so he won't get my support unless he's playing for England.

4.) 06 Mar 2026 19:33:26
Not for me, so many I've seen playing our hearts. Just wrong.

5.) 06 Mar 2026 19:48:48
It's not just football anymore, it's business as well. Why do you think clubs are going down the pan? Finance, of course. You're only as safe as your owner, if your owner is rich or good at business.

Other clubs buy and sell players to stay solvent, and to do that you have to buy new young players; they help you, and you move them on. Simples.

6.) 06 Mar 2026 19:49:41
Remember, I watched Ando alongside my boy at Wallsend Boys Club, Shearer, Beardsley, Waddle, etc. Put nothing in for them. The club is struggling. All been there, and know what it means as a step up. Don't get me wrong, the laddie showed amazing signs of triumph, Taylor would have seen him a mile away.

Dam it, it just hurts football now. More wrongs than rights. It actually brought me a tear. Not the Premier, used to it. Just how proud I was, and am, of my boy. Bless xxx.

Anybody know if Awonyi is fit? . going to be a sleepless night knowing we will create chances tomorrow but probably won't convert enough. can't see Brighton not scoring so we need at least two. could Awonyi and Jesus play up top together and go for a win?

I was wondering where Taiwo was and what's happened to him after he scored the wonder individual goal against Brentford. I'd have thought VP would be having a look at all his available players and starting with a fresh slate?

2.) 28 Feb 2026 20:09:41
Is this the same Taiwo who people were taking the P**s out of before the Brentford game?

3.) 28 Feb 2026 20:28:13
Ah, the good old smiling assassin. Let's play Lucca, he's great and just what we need up front, tall striker, just what we need in the box. Let's play Jesus, scoring goals for fun in Euro, great player.

Let's play Awoniyi. Brilliant goal against Brentford, everyone clutching at straws. ?? Our strikers are shite, what we need is MGW, Anderson, Hudson, etc., to be chipping in with goals.

4.) 28 Feb 2026 20:44:22
Yes, Stevie, it's the same Awoniyi they are talking about and, personally, I don't blame them for mentioning him. You've got to agree. Our cf situation is so dire, they are clutching at straws, mate. So am I, if I'm honest. Lucca, Jesus or Awoniyi, my God, how do you choose from those three world beaters? Personally, I wouldn't pick any of them.

5.) 28 Feb 2026 20:51:51
Well, you 2 boys, Mr Angry and Baldy, are agreeing with me. Who'd have ever believed it. But then again, I'm always right. ?

6.) 28 Feb 2026 20:55:53
Gazzi, I'd play Jesus. I think away from home suits us better, and Jesus, although not a prem striker, is better at hold-up play. I'd have Awoniyi on the bench, though.

7.) 28 Feb 2026 20:59:35
Skegs, you're just a troll, mate. If you told me tomorrow was Sunday, I would have to triple-check before I agreed with you. You seem to be taking pleasure out of Forest's current situation, not what I would expect from a Forest fan.

8.) 28 Feb 2026 21:13:24
And why's that, Stevie? Because I said we have shite strikers, which is the same as a lot of Forest fans are saying. Not really rocket science, is it, mate. But let's just leave it at that. Press the ignore button on me, pal, if you don't like my replies, that simple, and I wouldn't want to upset you. ?

9.) 28 Feb 2026 21:13:53
I agree with you, Stevie, about playing Jesus. Not because he's any good, though. Just the best of a very poor bunch. Also, playing away might suit him, but don't expect him to keep up with any fast counter-attacks we might have.

10.) 28 Feb 2026 21:10:02
Actually Stellaboy, I'm having a conversation with Stevie, who I don't consider to be "angry" at all.
I do agree with you that our CF situation is dire though. Make the most of that agreement my friend because I think most of what you post is utter dollox. Cheers.

11.) 28 Feb 2026 22:09:14
Sorry, Baldy, I didn't realise that I was interrupting a conversation between 2 people on a banter site. I thought it was for everyone to comment on this site. Maybe, you should just give him your number so you can carry on your conversation, or whatever brotherly love you're into.

Or, like I said to Stevie, press that little ignore button, then I won't interrupt your conversation. ?

12.) 28 Feb 2026 22:17:01
The toilet seat troll. ???

13.) 28 Feb 2026 22:26:17
Like I said, Stellaboy, utter dolox. I won't be pressing the ignore button, though, because I find you harmlessly amusing. You remind me how thankful I am for paying attention in school.

14.) 28 Feb 2026 22:27:23
?? Winter, is it not past your bedtime? Little boy, mammy and daddy will be grounding you. If they catch you on the Internet. ?

15.) 28 Feb 2026 22:55:17
Nah, I'm staying with grandad ballons tonight, got the heating up and the butler on call. ?

16.) 28 Feb 2026 22:37:09
Skegs you couldn't upset me, only a very small circle of people I respect could do that, it's nothing to do with your replies on forest's so called strikers, it's every comment about the club, you've got some negative dig at it, I'll happily take your advice and give your posts a miss from now on, I don't see the point of trying to discuss anything sensibly with you, you don't appear to have the capacity to do that sort of thing,

Who's fed up with the modern games corners? . just watched the Everton game and thought at times I was watching rugby. for me there's nothing entertaining about watching it. Might be the daftest idea since var but what about the keeper has to stay on his line until the ball is kicked as penalties and no attacking players are allowed in the 6 yard box until ball is kicked?.

also united beanpole seems to be coming good after a tough start. maybe we should give Lucca a chance.

1.) 24 Feb 2026 06:03:41
I remember you doing that, Bowie, mate. It was great craic back then!

2.) 24 Feb 2026 10:32:07
Not a bad shout, Retty! It's chaos atm from corners, pure lottery, with a million fouls per second, mate. ?

22 Feb 2026 20:06:02
Be interesting what VP does on Thursday against the Turks. we need to keep that first team fit and use Awonyi against Brighton, if it goes txxs up so what, survival has to be paramount.

Try to get this lot to defend a 3 goal lead.

Gunn

Savona
Yates
Cunha
Morato

Dominguez
Bakwa
McAtee
Ndoye

Jesus
Lucca.

1.) 22 Feb 2026 20:21:24
Savona isn't fit.

2.) 22 Feb 2026 20:45:13
Is Retford Red banned or something?. ?

3.) 22 Feb 2026 23:48:41
Bakwa hasn't a clue. Lucca is very lightweight. If we go two goals down, he'll resort to the First Team players, but if we draw.

4.) 23 Feb 2026 09:07:02
Thought that was a MunMad post for a minute, Retty, when I saw the team selection. ? And you say that Savona isn't fit, Stevie? Think he's quite sexy myself. ?

22 Feb 2026 16:35:04
The posts below sum up what' and why that happened. Dominguez let them get that cross in far too easily, don't think Ando would have let him pick his cross.

I know that automated offside showed Ainas toenail in front of VD but for me it looked a clear offside in real time that the lino should have flagged. anyone agree? .

Totally agree, Munmad, but can't see him playing two up top. We need to go at them from the office and get in front, throw the kitchen sink at this one as City up next.
