MGW official, signed on a 5 year contract. One goal and one assist in the prem. 25 million and up to 44 million. Wolves fans saying they have mugged Forest at that fee.
1.) 19 Aug 2022 11:31:28
It’s obscene money but there’s nothing we can do about that. He’s a good player who could become a great player so he has my full support.
And who cares what wolves fans are saying? ??♂️.
2.) 19 Aug 2022 13:14:13
Who cares what Wolves fans say?
We have watched Morgan come through the academy and develop into a top Championship player which is where Forest will be at the end of the season ?.
3.) 19 Aug 2022 14:01:27
We’ll see nunes-one thing Forest fans know is not to take anything for granted! Maybe you’ll soon understand that when you are back where you belong ??♂️.
4.) 19 Aug 2022 14:10:11
I thought you'd dodged a bullet.
It's got you right through the head.
5.) 19 Aug 2022 14:10:52
MGW knows what he needs to do to develop into a top player - he trusts cooper and cooper trusts him, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
I’ll keep looking down the league table to see how you are doing ??.
6.) 19 Aug 2022 15:41:07
Did Nunes get lost or something posting on here, and why did he put a picture of a rat up?
07 Oct 2020 11:53:17
Real manager at last. This could be the big one we have all waited over twenty years for. Well done Marinakis, someone in who really knows what he is doing who I believe will deliver for our great club and its long suffering fans. U REDS.
1.) 07 Oct 2020 17:20:45
Spot on mate can’t believe there are still doubters and moaners. We all need to get behind the team and the management. Yes the owner has made some mistakes but he is clearly trying to put things right. Sabri did ok to start off and gave us a little hope. Now we have a good squad a very good experienced manager and a great chance to have a great season.
Keep the faith. COYR.
2.) 07 Oct 2020 22:57:00
Doubters?
Moaners?
Em?
Some would call realistic.
Im with you 100% if the owner was so sure then give him a 3 year deal and the time to get it right?
You should back your own judgement when in control of a buisness not just hire and fire.
3.) 08 Oct 2020 10:39:07
People were moaning before he had even had his first day in charge, is that realistic?
Have you considered Chris may have only wanted to sign a 1 year contract?
It's always the owners fault on here.
The guy has ploughed shed loads of money in when no-one else would and people seem to get off on knocking him at every opportunity.
If he were to drop and go we would be in big trouble. Let us hope we have the right manager and we are headed in the right direction.
4.) 08 Oct 2020 19:12:31
Ayup the clingon is here again🤣🤣🤣.
04 Oct 2020 10:24:00
Is Lamouchi still at Forest. Psycho got the boot for a lot less if you think back. Is Marinakis in denial about him? U REDS.
06 Aug 2019 16:38:57
The lunatics have taken over the asylum. Mendy a four goal a season striker now been chased as well as sheep gk Carson. Is this real or am I just having a bad dream. O my god.
1.) 06 Aug 2019 17:01:40
Retford. I've just woke up from the same bad dream.
There must be some sort of agenda going on here and i genuinely fear for this season.
2.) 06 Aug 2019 17:55:29
Retford as long as he puts a shift in he should be ok. be better than grabban then if he does a lot of running.
3.) 06 Aug 2019 20:10:35
Have we been taken over by closet Derby fans trying to destroy us? I can't believe their Forest fans.
11 Mar 2019 21:59:54
Ansarifard could well get the nod v Villa because he was instrumental in the Hull win but don't spoil it with the silly dives Karim, you are in the mens league now. Hope you get the nod instead of dead legs. U REDS.
1.) 13 Mar 2019 09:21:39
He has to start instead of Murphy. Murphy simply doesn't have the goals in him to give us the promotion push we need, Ansarifard hasn't been given his chance yet.
2.) 14 Mar 2019 21:42:06
Well now he has and he just lost it almost bordering on a red card. We looked better in the last few minutes when Murphy was on!

Great result on top of West Ham defeat. Milenkovic superb, Sels and Williams top draw and three cracking goals. The team spirit from all players was very good. Tactics, substitutions, thanks to Vitors impressive imput and psychology.
I stated a couple of weeks back that he as got alot to offer and once he as confirmed our prem status, Big M should give him a new contract. Continuity and stability for next season is something we are crying out for after this season. U REDS.
1.) 25 Mar 2026 19:11:02
I agree with that totally, Retford. Stability is the key and foundation, mate.
11 Mar 2026 20:39:01
Well put Munmad. Positive support goes a long way for sure. We can't bring in new players so we need to get behind VP and the boys. I would be even more confident if we did not have Europa games so close before Fulham and Spurs, but we can still do enough. If we get knocked out it could be a blessing in disguise.
VP's formation is also a positive with young Cunha, imo, joining the Serbinator and Murillo in a three. Stay positive, Reds, and show the team we are fully behind them and just how much we want prem football next season. U Reds.
1.) 12 Mar 2026 08:37:30
Munmad, you need to ask yourself, on this season's performances (like Bowie says), are they playing for the badge or the bank balance? Supporters can be as positive as they want, but if the players don't care, it's pointless. Those that are worth anything will trigger their transfer clauses & get out.
When they are in their pre-match huddle, do you think MGW is saying, "3pts in the bag here lads because Munmad is positive"? 7th in the league to 17th because they don't care.
2.) 12 Mar 2026 11:01:35
You really are a drain mate
3.) 12 Mar 2026 18:24:56
It's because it take no imagination to be negative Munmad.
4.) 12 Mar 2026 19:00:37
Oi ginger I've guided you through everything from the green cross code and you cycling from bar to bar. But remember reds. I won't be there when you cross his road.
02 Mar 2026 11:39:03
It's too late now obviously, but Sels should have turned the first goal round and Murillo should have cleared the second. Having said that SHOULD HAVE could be aimed at most of the team on Sunday for a performance that takes our great club closer to the championship. I have previously stated in a couple of previous posts that this Europe jolly could be a major factor for us losing our prem status. Add to that the continuous sacking of managers and the clubs dire recruitment costing tens of millions, leaving us short of quality cover also a factor.
Its all very upsetting for our fabulous fans to witness when they deserve so much more. Finally unlike some on here, I don't blame Vitor Pereira for our current predicament. This is the follow up to our owner backing Edu instead of Nuno, or at least sorting the differences behind closed doors. I remain fully behind the manager and players, we have no option anyway and hope we can produce some of last seasons form NOW to keep us up. U REDS.
1.) 02 Mar 2026 12:46:23
Great post, Retford! Agree entirely, mate. The errors you mention, and the quality of performance, are typical of tired players. Nuno found the same drop of quality around this time last season, perhaps a bit earlier and for much the same reasons.
2.) 02 Mar 2026 17:10:45
Looks from today's press conference that VP agrees with me about the tiredness and lack of preparation time of our schedule.
3.) 02 Mar 2026 17:33:32
Recruitment, Recruitment, recruitment. First, second, and third on the list of catastrophic errors.
27 Feb 2026 11:49:52
Good team for Brighton Munmad. including Jair Cunha who did well and started to make his case as Murillos replacement for next season imo. Felt for VP trying to get the best out of the side in two competitions, with only about 13 or 14 players up to required standard and struggling to rest players without getting punished.
Some poor performances in that first half just highlights how much we struggle without our first teamers. I now think a jaded first teamer is a better option if we can get away with it, than the alternative. Back to the real deal now on Sunday with our best team out there. Come on Forest, you can do it. U REDS.
23 Feb 2026 16:42:32
What on earth is happening to our great game, Sangares toe kept Liverpool onside. bull. Who makes this nonesence up, for the games sake can we get back to some form of reality. I thought Vitor got us playing some very positive stuff in the first half, minus the vital statistic as usual. That excellent half was difficult to repeat though because we could not find the energy levels required., thanks to playing on Thursday. Good result and performance in Istanbul, but I fear it could cost us dearly, but I so hope I am wrong.
The Premier League is all that matters but we are stuck with this second rate standard competition and to many games taking its toll. I was in Munich and Madrid to see us win the real thing, which Europa league is not even close to. Besides all that I still think we can stay up under Vitor and am now thinking could Awonyi not be worth a try again in a side that as scored less than a goal a game. U REDS.
1.) 23 Feb 2026 17:54:05
I totally get what you are saying, RR, but if you're using it, it is either on-side or off-side, and unfortunately for us, his toe kept him on-side. Just like VAR showed the ball hit McAllister's arm just before, that would have been given without VAR, so I guess we can't have it both ways, as much as I would have wanted us to.
:) But, we can take heart from a great performance, and the fans really got behind that. If we can continue in the same vein, I am sure we will be fine, but we just must start hitting the onion bag in the league.
2.) 23 Feb 2026 19:16:35
Ginger, it was semi-automated VAR. That graphic was a mock-up with human input. The goal should have been disallowed for offside, but I’m not complaining too much because I would have been disappointed as a Forest fan if we had a goal disallowed like McAllister's first effort.
He didn’t deliberately handle it, and although I know by the letter of the law it was handball, it seemed harsh. We should have defended better in injury time.
3.) 23 Feb 2026 19:32:08
So, you're saying the Scouse are armless, Stevie. Pffft, f*** em. Getting too soft, laddie. Offside for Taylor's sake. You know how many of them would feel sorry for us? Yes, you do. Any Cheltenham shortly?
4.) 23 Feb 2026 19:40:20
Bowie, I despise Liverpool, but we were architects of our own downfall yesterday. Liverpool were crap, and unfortunately we couldn't put them away 1st half.
5.) 23 Feb 2026 19:49:51
Doesn't give them the right to 3 x points, Stevie F. Fs.
6.) 23 Feb 2026 20:26:09
Bowie, I'm struggling to see where I said that. I just said I would have been disappointed if we'd had a goal disallowed in that fashion, and we should have defended better, mate. Sorry I missed your question. No, no Cheltenham this year, unfortunately, mate.
7.) 23 Feb 2026 20:39:43
Stevie, what I'm saying is what most of the country have seen, bud. (Going off most of my Geordie mates.) Surely the rest feel the same. It was offside. Couldn't be more obvious. Yes, I agree, probably we have the same strikers/midfield that shot at Trump (for the politicians), but why be robbed of a point? Huge to us.
8.) 23 Feb 2026 20:48:46
Bowie, I agree it was offside and should have been disallowed, mate. I'm talking about the handball goal.
9.) 23 Feb 2026 21:15:18
Again, Stevie, the rules say any ball off the arm/hand is wrong, hence a defence like most in the Premier when there's an attack. Look like Daleks and d***s protruding from their heads. Simples.
10.) 23 Feb 2026 22:06:06
Bowie, I know, and I talked about the letter of the law in my original post. I'm just saying the rule is harsh.
10 Mar 2017 16:35:03
Tomorrow, I would be tempted to go 4411 with Smith, Lichaj, Worrall, Fox, Pinnilos, Pereira, Mancienne, Cohen, Traore, Clough, Brereton. Subs McCormack, Osbourne, Cash, Caryol, Assambalonga, Mills, Evtimov. Pereira and Traore both named as fullbacks but I think both are good at getting forward but still have that defensive side when needed. Gboly Ariyibi would be my wild card pick as what I have seen of him he looks very good. And it could be Vaughan instead of either Cash or Caryol if you need to go for a stronger defensive squad.
14 Jan 2017 12:58:34
If Forest loose at Brum I think Jack Lester will be put in charge as caretaker. I think he would do a good job and even land it full time. Would make sense as the queue for new manager won't be very long I fear. He knows and values the youngsters and would provide the team with shape and motivation.
23 Jun 2022 13:14:03
Rooneys offered to drive to save money and Asda are paying for the diesel.
08 Mar 2022 11:54:03
Good post MUNMAD7980, Just thinking the same, Surridge and Davies would be awesome, I hope Coops is thinking along those lines to. That pairing could get us to the promised land. Horvath is without any doubt the best keeper at the club and as been impressive. Another great show from Forest against a side unbeaten in eighteen. Still have to pinch myself to realise all this is really happening after the hopeless time under Hughton and that run of defeats and been rock bottom of the league. Never been more excited and proud of my team since the late seventies and early eighties when I was at places like Munich and Madrid to name just two. Oh, and didn't we put a team called Liverpool or something like that who were the holders out of the European Cup. U REDS.
06 Mar 2019 19:39:45
Does that mean my old 888 shirt will be back as our new sponsor. Hope so as its one of the best shirts we have had. U REDS.
16 Jan 2019 21:36:47
Really good post Carlo. Getting back to the all important basics really and getting our club performing well again after twenty years in the wilderness. The club thanks to our Greek friend is in the best shape it as been for years and if MON can provide the final piece in the jigsaw it would be absolutley fantastic for all of our supporters to finally see it come good. The final sentence , last chance for some of us oldies made me think that could include me to, sixty years a fan this year. Started with Jack Burkitt lifting the FA cup in 1959 and to get back in the top flight after such a long absence would be amazing.
19 Jan 2018 16:55:33
Rodwell on sixty grand a week. Enough said I think Bosun.
