So if your told to find a new club what incentive have you got in your 30's? Let's face it the likes of Murphy Heff etc could all sign for lower league teams tomorrow but know they would have to take a big wage cut. So instead the turn up train odd game in the under 23's and take home the big fat wage packet?

Surely having dead wood just hanging around the place is not good and a drain on facilities so pay there wage ship them out on loan or stay at home as it won't cost anymore? What's the cost of paying them off? . Let's see some pride n passion today boys players and fans.

1.) 03 Aug 2019 09:46:11
Signing Murphy on a 4 year contract was always a crazy move, so we can't blame him if he wants to collect his 25k a week and then retire at the end of the season. I know that's what I'd do instead of playing lower league football for a couple more season earning 5k a week.

2.) 03 Aug 2019 12:00:17
Spot on Gazza. Its not Murphy's fault he was given a four year contract.
A younger player should consider dropping down a level and try to rebuild his career but Murphy's career is all but done so he would be daft to move.

3.) 03 Aug 2019 13:06:16
Murphy must be rubbing his hands on pay days. Ridiculous contract he was given.

4.) 03 Aug 2019 18:01:21
Murphy will be a great impact sub this season if he stays so he is hardly deadwood!

5.) 03 Aug 2019 19:44:01
After watching tonight's performance I'd play Murphy instead of grabban just looked like he couldn't be arsed.

6.) 03 Aug 2019 20:19:04
Not on the bench. 😐.

7.) 03 Aug 2019 20:27:24
We need a goal keeper, full back and striker. Absolute dross.

8.) 03 Aug 2019 20:56:21
I salute you sir.

9.) 03 Aug 2019 23:36:41
Grabban is Lazy with a capital L.

10.) 04 Aug 2019 09:39:06
Darren definelazy? would you rather he chase stuff down run around all over the pitch to then not be in a position to score a goal or would you rather he picked and chose when to? the midfielders are there to do all that. do you think he gets told to run his nuts of by the manager/ coach but just ignores him? if he did do that do you think he would get picked after going against what the manger/ coach has instructed him to do?

11.) 04 Aug 2019 09:41:49
Grabban scored 17 goals last season being “Lazy” but if he ran his nuts off out wide chasing balls do you think he would of scored half that? i would rather he stayed up top waiting for that opportunity than be out wide and he not be there for that opportunity when it’s presented. if he did run his bits of and he scored 6 goals all season you would mon that he’s not scored enough.

24 Jun 2019 18:02:53
Keane to Newcastle .

1.) 24 Jun 2019 18:50:34
Chris Hughton more like but he'd probably turn Ashley down unless he gives him a 3 year contract!

2.) 24 Jun 2019 21:17:17
Keane will be lucky if anyone gives him a job in my opinion, a big risk.

3.) 25 Jun 2019 07:14:39
I wouldnt let Keane manage a branch of Abra kebabra (are they still going?)

4.) 25 Jun 2019 09:35:42
Ha Ha 2tone, I remember those in Dublin going years back fella, I think they sponsored the football team.

5.) 25 Jun 2019 12:48:24
It was tongue in cheek and the site deleted the man on his back crying with laughter

22 Apr 2019 08:23:22
OK Mon and Co season done with last chance saloon in my book. Its not about winning today but how u play style and effort. Drop the dross that's been playing since u came in players and style show why we should invest our support in u and the players. No loans from now on unless they are staying give some people a chance to show you what it means to wear the badge and be on the pitch to play and not just collecting a wage packet. Legends should stay that way not ruin it by trying to come back.

1.) 22 Apr 2019 10:37:40
Never a true word spoken. Good post Realistic.

2.) 22 Apr 2019 17:51:46
Will that do for you Realistic?

3.) 22 Apr 2019 17:50:37
Great win today MON should be sacked now, if he can't see what a player Carvalho is then he hasn't got a clue!!!!

4.) 22 Apr 2019 18:25:09
The players appreciate him so why can’t the manager.again his to pig headed to admit he messed up not playing him.

5.) 22 Apr 2019 18:48:06
Everything good this season has come through carvalho i doubt he'll be a forest player next season and will be shipped off to our "parent club" like to believe in mon but feel football has moved on since his days at keeping a mediocre leicester side in the premiership

6.) 23 Apr 2019 07:24:58
How many games has Carvallaho played where the game has simply passed him by. Been out muscled out thought and his second touch a tackle? Talent he has no doubt but he is not always this good. I said a while back that he needed with drawing from the battle and spend a little time watching from the bench or stands to get a better feel for his position. Maybs this has worked wonders for him and he is being better mamaged bu oneil?

Boro had a makeshift defence and with oneil putting willing runners in cash and osborn it gave carvallho the space to operate. With 3 at the back you coukd argue it was genious by oneil??
However carvallaho looked a different player and man yesterday free of any shackles and gave praise where it is due he looked extemely good yesterdsy and well done and fairplay to him.

7.) 23 Apr 2019 21:04:39
Carvalho impressed me just as much with his tracking back, especially the first half. Good to see him doing the ugly side of the game, not just the flash parts. As the cliche goes, he's set the bar for future performances.

8.) 24 Apr 2019 09:37:03
To be fair MON has only ever said that Carvalho was a talented player. He does not seem to want to get rid of him since this week he said he felt it appropriate that JC has seen what a struggle 9 months of solid football is like. What I've noticed time and again is that when he plays alongside both Osborn and Lolley, their inter-passing seems to be spot on, so these two players tend to help get the best out of him. If Grabban was a little less selfish on the ball he might prosper more alongside JC too.

9.) 24 Apr 2019 09:37:57
Great to see us have such good win and sparks new hope for next year.

What we don't see is what is going on behind the scenes and on the training ground. Carvalho is still very young and maybe they have also been building up his physicality and confidence. I don't think we would spend all that money on someone with no talent.

Hopefully he has set himself a standard now to follow, well done Forest.

10.) 28 Apr 2019 20:29:25
Sutton u will be fine the sheep might make play offs

28 Dec 2018 20:19:17
Don't think we will get anything on Saturday as I think Millwall had us sussed last time. Let us have plenty of the ball defend in numbers, lives on the line stop it at any cost oof it anywhere and when in possession long high balls into our box and wait for us to give stupid free kicks away around our box. Gun is loaded AK you know what's coming prove us all wrong?

1.) 28 Dec 2018 22:08:58
Well if you have watched us away that is not going to happen bar something happening outside the managers control!

2.) 28 Dec 2018 23:52:55
So what your saying now red is the manger isn't in control?
We are just an away side, waste of time watching us at home,WHICH by the way is what most of us do🤔😎🤔

3.) 29 Dec 2018 00:02:04
millwall will come at us from the kick off which you would expect them being at home so karanka will deploy his usual tactics of just try and catch them on the counter it might work against millwall if they(millwall) don't score early, but personally I think millwall will score 1st 5 mins and win 2-0, hope i'm wrong and we smash them but I think come after the leeds game barring 2 really good performances and wins karanka will be sacked, I said after the preston game I could only see us picking up 3 pts from the next 4 games and it might be worse than that lol

4.) 29 Dec 2018 10:44:57
We will win 5-6 nil today 😆

5.) 29 Dec 2018 11:47:37
I can remember millwal beating a high flying forest with a young teddy sherringham on the scoresheet for the lions. I think they beat us 2 0
Today is a belter of a prospect. Nothing kess than a win to save AK whjch i think we will get, a stay if exection msybe as leeds on tuesday pivitol. But fir gidsake coyr!!!!

6.) 29 Dec 2018 14:41:08
No way Skeggsy!!??
We'll go 6-0 up. then draw 6-6!!!

7.) 29 Dec 2018 15:50:14
Enough is enough, utter tripe. Don’t blame the players it’s the fing Manager and his 4 2 3 1 (does not work) tactics.

Millwall are garbage, Forest even worse. It’s about creating chances, the more chances you create the more goals you will score. Simple game

8.) 29 Dec 2018 17:24:27
Goodbye Karanka!

9.) 29 Dec 2018 17:25:23
Looks like the pressure has got to AK ridiculous substitutions again, I'm now hearing he's sacked

10.) 29 Dec 2018 17:31:40
Hope that is true. I never wanted the bloody Spaniard in the first płace, only got Boro up because Brighton bottled it.

Lets be honest football has been dire at times.

11.) 30 Dec 2018 09:18:33
Well I wasn’t too far wrong I said Millwall would score 1st 5 mins took them 9 mins n said 2-0 finished 1-0, forest a lot of possession again but couldn’t do anything with it, couple of lolley efforts from long range

03 Nov 2018 08:10:12
I know he likes 2 holding midfielders but can't he adopt that into 352 or 3511? We have lots of centre half options full backs that have legs to play wingbacks lots of midfield options to defend and attack Grabone or Murphy with lolly or cav behind? Far more tactical options in this formation attacking and defending. I see the formation at the moment as cluttered in front of the 2 centre halves no where to pass to or clear if needed. Standing on each others toes? COYR.

1.) 03 Nov 2018 10:41:02
I think we need to resign ourselves to the 4-2-3-1 set up and just go with the flow.

Rooney not leading the player rebellion? Who u kidding he is definitely at the front greed fat t__t. If their not playing or training then surely their not working and should be furloughed? 80% with 2 half k wage cap a month let's see u live on that.

15 Mar 2020 09:20:23
In my opinion it will be gread that decides this season not health or fairness. We are all still at work but taking precautions so are the teams. So if all are at work at the clubs and being paid why not play behind closed doors with basic TV coverage like on the Red Button. Essential playing staff and ground staff only all can be tested before and anyone showing symptoms should already be self isolating. This is no more of a risk than the rest of the working world so earn your money. i get the mass gathering but if its not about the greed of money and based on safety why haven't schools hospitals shopping centres etc etc followed the same pattern.

1.) 15 Mar 2020 10:08:49
Because the virus hasn’t hit yet and players and stag are still testing positive. if they carry on playing and training it will be passed on. they then have to go home to there families still go shopping and such. yes they man no show any signs or may not get ill but some will and it could hinder their performance .
The virus as I see it is a respiratory infection so it ain’t good having players running round for 90 mins because someone wants the season to be played out, some footballers have asthma and this virus affects them as well.

2.) 15 Mar 2020 10:12:15
All because the premier league think they know better than medical professionals.

3.) 15 Mar 2020 10:55:21
All that football has done is to act now and not wait with a few clubs already infected, the government will ban all meetings soon anyway.
When the whole of Spain and France shuts down then you have to understand the seriousness of this virus.
When America bans the whole of Europe from flying there then you should really understand.
Asking over 70s to stay at home for four months is a massive ask, things are going to get far worst yet and will affect us all, we will just have to accept the measures needed to fight this disease.

4.) 15 Mar 2020 12:44:50
Yet thousands more deaths from common flu. Your right asking over 70’s to stay at home for months is a big ask that’s why medical professionals haven’t advised it yet. People jumping the gun and making decisions based on fear whipped up by the media and industries like football jumping on the band wagon has only added to it.

5.) 15 Mar 2020 13:03:38
Perks go on YouTube and type in joe Rohan coronovirus and listen to a bloke on there that knows what he’s talking about then come back and tell us that the da have got it wrong.

6.) 15 Mar 2020 13:37:02
Think about how long flu has been in existence and think about how long this virus has been in existence.

7.) 15 Mar 2020 13:58:03
Perks you are the one that is wrong.

8.) 15 Mar 2020 14:20:58
Going on YouTube is the last thing I’ll be doing to be honest.

9.) 15 Mar 2020 14:24:59
The FA get everything wrong, even if it’s the right thing it’s the wrong thing when they administer it. Total Bafoons and the worst version of the English you could ever see. Elitist . Autocratic, institutionalised and bureaucratic, the whole thing needs tipping upside down.

10.) 15 Mar 2020 15:44:33
Because I’m not joining the hysteria?

11.) 15 Mar 2020 15:51:16
24 deaths in the last 48 hrs? nothing to see or worry about here because it’s doesn't kill as many as the flu in a year!

12.) 15 Mar 2020 15:55:55
So all the world leaders have bought in drastic measures to stop it from getting even further out of control and it's just because they are being hysterical?
If your talking about people buying up everything in supermarkets than I agree they should not be allowed to buy in such quantities but that will soon stop when they run out of money and start throwing food away.

13.) 15 Mar 2020 18:56:56
Perks, I'm with you. 6,000 world wide deaths so far. Last year in UK alone, 23,000 'winter related' deaths. Nobody gave a rat's arse last year, so why the meltdown? Project fear, with another project. Let's control the idiots. 🙄.

14.) 15 Mar 2020 19:43:03
That's where your naive because in general it would affect winter climates and this virus has no boundaries to climate, its affecting the whole world and there is probably something they know that they aren't making public.
Countries don't just shut down for nothing and when the whole world does don't you just think, this is serious?

15.) 15 Mar 2020 20:00:57
In a word, no.

16.) 15 Mar 2020 20:07:42
So your right and all the world leaders are wrong?

17.) 16 Mar 2020 04:51:25
In a word, yes. It's the BC influence. 👍.

08 Mar 2020 12:55:18
I thought we had bought in some good cover in January how wrong was I. Players are tired and need a rest. Dawson for Worrall or hef somebody who won't get pushed around by a lump of a centre forward like Borough n Millwall did a rest wouldn't hurt. Semedo is lost out there just running around 1st touch is awful get rid Bostock every day while sow out for me. missing silva buzzing around Carv has a better pass etc but that's no good when he can't get the ball. All this worry that the gaffer will not cope in the prem not a problem as it will be back on the merry go round but bigger expenseive manager. Sooner be frustrated at this end of the table.

1.) 08 Mar 2020 13:48:01
It has already been written, Bostock had two games where he was so bad no one wanted him to wear a Forest shirt again, now more and more want him to play because he did ok when on as a sub, Carvalho has good spells, but not good games more and more think he is the answer.

When Carvalho starts games it makes me think the manager wants the team to be attack minded but the player can not get to grips with how the manager want the players to play.

2.) 08 Mar 2020 14:05:29
I think the bostock comments are really amusing, sums us footie fans up to a tee! 😁.

3.) 08 Mar 2020 16:17:25
True, he was woeful at Wigan where he started and rarely appeared since then, but we don't have a lot of choice I guess.

01 Jan 2020 12:06:30
Happy new year my fellow Reds. Please please please let it be true Mir is on his way out late Xmas present. If we're serious about promotion need to go for it with somebody like Hayle? If we're just building why not bring back walker as back up and rest for Grabbs as he knows where goal is and would work his socks off for his club.

21 Dec 2019 19:21:27
And the pack is on our heels.

1.) 21 Dec 2019 19:42:41
I hope the pack has too many jokers, and not enough kings and aces as some of our players are queen's.

2.) 21 Dec 2019 20:26:26
Realisticred were we ever out of the pack?

Sacked the muppet who is injured and at the wrong end of his playing days where the other 2 muppet are young and worth a few quid. Convenient excuse to get rid.

Totally agree 2 star as it stands Liverpool are clear and deservedly at the top so until its mathematicaly theirs any thing could go wrong. The ones saying it are the ones likely to go down. We are all loyal to our team and some are blinded by it would lfc fans be saying it if Everton were 25 points clear but still catchable? As per my comment earlier this will be decided by money men or those who will gain from it nothing to do with being fair or safety of the fans and staff. Would starting from scratch be fair? I don't think so either. Put everyone's name in a hat? 🤔 😂.

Weak at left back after the sub and on the left with bambi not helping. Guess what we conceded from the left.
