Well so much for that! Give Leeds credit for making their own destiny even though I thought Man U would beat them.

Exactly my thoughts. United were awful. I also think the sending off was spot on. He did pull the striker's hair. The so-called pundits say it's not serious foul play - it doesn't matter if it's a split second, it's a red card for violent conduct.
So now it's Forest to win at the Theatre of Dreams again!

Disappointed with Leeds' success last night from Forest's point of view. But hats off to them for sticking with Farke. There was a time earlier in the season when he couldn't buy a win.
With Wolves to come on Saturday at home, I anticipate they will be on 39 points with 5 games to go and safe.
Just shows, yet again, what patience and giving a good manager time to work his magic can do. Mr M, take note... Leeds will do it with a mediocre squad, with very little money spent, but playing with great spirit.
Also a lesson for us against Burnley on Sunday. There are no easy wins in the Prem. If we go in at half cock, like Man Utd did, we will come unstuck. Burnley play a very similar physical game to Leeds, and always give teams a hard time.

What's the general opinion on Andersons form at the moment. I don't think he's battling like he used to and on recent form is he good enough to be in the world cup squad.has he burnt himself out? .interested in opinions.

That's Leeds near enough sorted. Hope we put out our worst 11 against Porto, whichever that 11 is. We need a win against Burnley. Which, at the start of the season, you wouldn't even be thinking about. What a shambles of a season.

We need to play our strongest side on Thursday, at least for the first 60 minutes.

The Burnley game will look after itself.

Winning the Europa Cup will give us Champions League football with all the things that that brings.

Skegg, massive win for Leeds last night, they've given themselves a fantastic chance, haven't they? I personally think Villa were there for the taking, but we lack killer instinct as we have all season. At 34, I think Wood will struggle to rediscover his touch quickly enough after so many weeks out.



West Ham and Leeds look far more equipped than us, and I just don't see Spurs going down.

Well done, VP. However, we look better than we did, but still a poor side in my opinion. I think, given time, he'll improve us and we should stick with it now.

Look how many players Leeds get into the opposition penalty area during their attacks. They also just kept going, and didn't sit back on the 1-0 lead.
We didn't seem to have any more than 1 or 2 players in Villa's box whilst we were attacking.

If we manage to stay up. Mr M needs to do a proper overall manager, players, etc. Jesus, not good enough for Premier League. Woods too old, shift mgw, Anderson on their heads have been turned. Bring some fresh youngsters in, please, like Munmad mentioned.

No Forest has been back like Elanga, he mentioned, and forget Europe, that's half the reason we're near the bottom. I hope he plays 11 reserves and concentrates on the Premier League.

Can't add much to the previous excellent posts from DTP, Gazzi, Nono, et al! As for bitten fingernails and tension, me too. I could hear my pacemaker working overtime . 😂😂.
We worked hard but as DTP said, too 4 against bottom 4, what do you expect? Fairly even overall though but they always had the edge. Just shows what a good manager like Uni Emry can build with 4 years in charge rather than 4 months or less. Stability is everything, take note Mr M.
Very good signs though.

The belief is there and they want to play for VP. More minutes in the legs for Woody. Williams, Sels, and MGW outstanding. We are starting to look like a unit, organized and grafting. Excellent selection choices from VP too, with Porto In midweek. There was a period towards the end when Forest were well on top as Villa flagged and we might have nicked it.
Overall a fair result which sets us up to create some daylight between us and Spurs if we can put Burnley away. Coyr!

Disagree, Stokey, about MGW. I thought he was slow, and gave the ball away numerous times when he tried the fancy Dan flicks and back heels. Not what is needed in a relegation dog fight.
