What do we want Bergvall for from a team that almost got relegated last season? Forget players from other Premier League clubs. Logically, why would they sell them if they were that good? Let's keep signing from abroad. There's a wealth of talent out there and they cost less. That's what we have scouts for!

Colombian midfielder Gustavo Puerta.

Pereira out, Oliver Glasner in. Here we go again!
1.) 01 Jul 2026 19:58:04
Well, this will get you all going. Glasner in. We need a young, proven striker, so why not get Jonno back? We'd get him for song as he only warms the bench at Palace. Could be good business.
2.) 01 Jul 2026 20:25:41
Yes, and Glasner is the one who thinks he is only good enough for the bench.
3.) 01 Jul 2026 20:36:41
Glasner knows how to get Mateta ticking. ?
4.) 01 Jul 2026 20:47:04
It's a bloody disgrace. Honestly, I give up with our club's owners. We've been here before. Remember when Fawaz (another rich buffoon) sacked Sean O'Driscoll on the back of a great win and scintillating performance against Leeds and into the top 6?
He sacked him and replaced him with McLeish, and later McClaren. We all know how that turned out, don't we?
Vitor was doing a great job; he got the players playing for him, delivered some great results, achieved Premiership safety and a semi-final in the Europa.
What did I say, the 3 things we needed most... stability, stability and stability. We don't deserve you, VP. Good luck for the future, mate!
5.) 01 Jul 2026 20:48:08
Sarr is worth looking at too. ?
6.) 01 Jul 2026 20:48:22
Henderson for me.
7.) 01 Jul 2026 20:58:29
I wouldn't blame the players for leaving now. Mr. M has messed us up all over again. Deep and doo doos come to mind. Still, I'll be able to get tickets when we're back in the Championship.
8.) 01 Jul 2026 21:11:42
Overreaction, bsred, we won't be in the Championship anytime soon.
Only time will tell if this is a good decision.
Look at it this way, it's been done before pre-season, and Glasner comes as a winner.
FA Cup, Charity Shield and Europa Conference League winner.
I really feel for Vitor, but sometimes when a successful coach becomes available you have to go for it.
9.) 01 Jul 2026 21:13:15
Henderson would only come back if he was first choice. If Sels leaves, then yes, a good keeper.
10.) 01 Jul 2026 21:22:34
Mr M hasn't bought Forest to be a mid Premier League side. He wants European football every season. So you need to go for the best managers to do the job, and Glasner is the man at this time.
11.) 01 Jul 2026 21:23:13
Henderson is better and younger than Sels.
12.) 01 Jul 2026 21:54:29
In terms of trophies won DTP, Vitor is a much more successful manager than Glasner. How VP was expected to win anything on the back of the shambles he inherited, I've no idea, mate.
13.) 01 Jul 2026 21:56:52
The best bit about Glasner being in charge. He will have the main say on recruitment coming in, and not the numptys who have wasted money. So maybe Mr M is listening for a change.
14.) 01 Jul 2026 22:03:49
Are you sure about that, Stokey?
Lots of runner ups, and nothing in the last twelve years.
I like him, and was happy for him to carry on, but Glasner has won three trophies at Palace in the last twelve months. That's quality, Stokey.
15.) 01 Jul 2026 23:24:09
Can't argue that with you, DTP. Sels has his admirers, so it's quite feasible that he could go this summer. So Henderson, plus a new backup keeper, would make sense. I too liked VP; without him we would be in the Championship this season, but it was always going to be Glasner or Silva.
VP was just a stop-gap. It was debated on this site, when he first came in, what was going to happen. The new man has the potential to make us top ten at the least, I believe. What's done is done, no going back.
16.) 01 Jul 2026 23:24:31
Personally, I'm really happy with Glasner, well done Mr M. Football, like it or lump it, is a business. If someone comes up who is better at their job than what you have, well, it's P45 time. ?
17.) 02 Jul 2026 00:02:26
I'm on my way to Hartlepool. ???
18.) 02 Jul 2026 15:25:28
So trophies won are time limited, are they, DTP? So we can strike out Clough's achievements? As I said, check it out, mate. Glasner has 6 major trophies, VP 8?
19.) 02 Jul 2026 15:28:50
Why are you going to Hartlepool?
15 Jun 2026 10:52:38.
That's a Forest player Ibrahim Sangare (Ivory Coast) on a winning team in the World Cup, next should be Ando.
25 May 2026 12:46:07
Don't worry Morgan, about the England squad for a start. Henderson and Burns are too old to cope with the heat and the pace over the pond. Players always get called upon thru injuries etc, so you will get your turn.
1.) 25 May 2026 14:21:03
Hope so, Humorist. I mean, why wouldn't you take the top scoring Prem Englishman? Crazy imo.
2.) 25 May 2026 17:30:43
Wonder what excuse Tuchel will use, when England go out???
Huge risk he's taken.
3.) 25 May 2026 20:56:03
He'll have his escape route planned for each round. Whether the team will nail him out is the main question.
08 May 2026 07:45:30
Nobody seems to have mentioned that Villa were quicker and faster than us. Why? Because they rested the majority of their squad against Spurs. We rested some against Chelsea but due to the relegation issue we have had to battle every game. I hope they get their comeuppance in the final.
If we feel bad about that 1. 2 Villa had against Spurs (of all the teams), can you imagine how West Ham are feeling because if Villa had played like they did last night Spurs would still be below the Hammers, and they say cheats don't prosper!
1.) 08 May 2026 09:12:54
Excuses, excuses, we were garbage, totally outclassed, outthought, outplayed & outmanaged. Anderson was dreaming of City, Cuhna was dreaming of finding some talent. Milenkovic must have taken a bung grabbing that shirt. The rest were on the beach. They should have played the 11 that beat Chelsea.
So much for the amazing Vitor team spirit. They didn't give a toss all night.
2.) 08 May 2026 11:21:42
If Anderson was "Dreaming about City", why the hell was he seen 5 mins in, geeing up our support???
Utter tripe!!!
3.) 08 May 2026 12:06:28
Lip service. He ought to try geeing himself up. He was awful. So he's Forest through & through then, Roger.
We'll see about that when the transfer window opens.
4.) 08 May 2026 11:24:27
.and not a cheep out of you when we dismantled Chelsea???
Says everything about you pal.
5.) 08 May 2026 14:05:29
I didn't need to say anything. I was there, were you?
6.) 08 May 2026 14:21:44
I was!!!
I saw yee!!!
???
7.) 08 May 2026 14:27:19
Larry the Lamb returns to give his wise words of calamity. ???
8.) 08 May 2026 14:28:00
Rogie, baaaa baaaaa baaaaaa... Only Larry can understand that. ????
9.) 08 May 2026 14:29:40
Big Larry, you can't pull the Wool ? over our eyes. Baaaaaaa baaaaaaa ba Ba baaaa. ?????
10.) 08 May 2026 14:47:39
Couldn't really miss ya mate, with that big
"Derby County Play-Off Winners Wembley 2026!"
Flag mate!!!.
???
11.) 08 May 2026 15:05:10
Ah, so that was you in the Cork Hibernian shirt banging the bodhran, singing I will follow the Forest. ??
12.) 08 May 2026 15:13:44
Forest Green. ???????
13.) 08 May 2026 17:10:02
Better than destroying them!.
?
14 Apr 2026 07:18:45
Well so much for that! Give Leeds credit for making their own destiny even though I thought Man U would beat them.
Makes you wonder if Man U are in a false position, so maybe Forest can beat them away on 17th May.
1.) 14 Apr 2026 08:29:03
Exactly my thoughts. United were awful. I also think the sending off was spot on. He did pull the striker's hair. The so-called pundits say it's not serious foul play - it doesn't matter if it's a split second, it's a red card for violent conduct.
So now it's Forest to win at the Theatre of Dreams again!
COYR.
2.) 14 Apr 2026 11:53:08
Disappointed with Leeds' success last night from Forest's point of view. But hats off to them for sticking with Farke. There was a time earlier in the season when he couldn't buy a win.
With Wolves to come on Saturday at home, I anticipate they will be on 39 points with 5 games to go and safe.
Just shows, yet again, what patience and giving a good manager time to work his magic can do.
Mr M, take note... Leeds will do it with a mediocre squad, with very little money spent, but playing with great spirit.
Also a lesson for us against Burnley on Sunday. There are no easy wins in the Prem. If we go in at half cock, like Man Utd did, we will come unstuck. Burnley play a very similar physical game to Leeds, and always give teams a hard time.
3.) 14 Apr 2026 12:25:28
I remember Jonny Metgod had his hair pulled...
Nothing done!!!
???
4.) 14 Apr 2026 14:34:27
Rogie, I remember back in the day, our superb ball playing centre back and captain never had any hair pulling problems either, mate. If I remember rightly, he and his wife had a hairdressing business in Nottm somewhere too. ? ?↕️ ?↕️ ?↕️
Definitely a straight red despite Carrick moaning. It can cause neck and head injuries, and is therefore reckless and dangerous, imo.
5.) 14 Apr 2026 14:43:10
Terry Hennessy, of course.
6.) 14 Apr 2026 22:46:48
Yep, Stokey, he was way before his time.
Cloughie played him in midfield at Derby, which, to imo, was a waste.

Where is the creater, you say? I know it, and so do many others. He's right here in Nottingham. Gibbs-White !!!!!!!!!!
31 Jan 2026 20:56:25
Now is our chance to level with Palace on points but overtake Leeds who we play next week. Also to showcase our new signing I think is supposed to be 6ft 7" tall so I would like to see him alongside Jesus.
Still not sure who we are signing as I've never known such complication involved in signing them. Some don't know whether they want to come or not. The player agrees terms then we get gazumped.
I think teams know we are one of the few clubs that have the cash and they are trying to screw us to the floor. Example Mateta wanted to come now he wants to go elsewhere and yet Palace say they are paying £50 million for the norwegian guy from Wolves to replace him! also don't think AC Milan can afford him
Absolute rubbish! they only wanted £40 million in the first place.
Rant over we will all know the truth tomorrow night. Fed up with the bull we fans keep being fed day in day out.
05 Jan 2026 11:52:30
bsered there could be an unenviable record set tomorrow night if the result is a draw which is no good to either team. The record would be if as a result of this both managers were sacked ( a present Forest manager and an ex Forest manager, It would be a first anywhere in the world)
13 Oct 2025 09:12:34
Skegsjay when Billy Davies was sacked he had at least 11 injuries but the owner just did'nt seem to appreciate that, Its a bit late now for Billy but Sean Dyche is the nearest to it. Some people say that he is too defensive but did'nt the great Brian Clough advocate star building from the back and stop conceding goals. However having a ready made squad of players its a different ball game and I would think Dyche would be in his seventh heaven.
We have the players just get the system right!
