What do we want Bergvall for from a team that almost got relegated last season? Forget players from other Premier League clubs. Logically, why would they sell them if they were that good? Let's keep signing from abroad. There's a wealth of talent out there and they cost less. That's what we have scouts for!

Item 2 on Forest's Ground extension plans is an absolute minefield. How are they to manage the movement of thousands of extra football fans converging on the ground, Everybody makes their own way and in their own time to a football match.
At the end of the day the city will make plenty of money out of this themselves never mind putting all the onus on to the football club,
On a lighter note if we get relegated this season Forest will have saved themselves a fortune!!!!!

This garbage fans are on about, Have they forgotten the first 40 minutes when we were running rings around them!!!
Its converting chances into goals and lets face it we created more chances than most teams do, I have sympathy for De Lap when he hit a thunderbolt and although it hit the goalie it could have gone anywhere and it did.
Am I the only one that notices that when you are so on top as we were that when efforts are not being converted into goals I said to my wife "we're not going to win this one"
I have noticed this sort of thing over the years and if lady luck is not with you you have no chance.

With Delaps chance, why did he go for the spectacular? If he'd stayed on his feet, he could have just slotted it in with a side foot. Simple. Frustrating as it gets today. Several players missing huge chances, its those kind of games that get into players heads, and not positively either. ?.

A supposedly top class manager has been put in charge to put a team together to get results, score goals, defend when we haven't got the ball, select the best players and motivate them. In the last two games we have lost to arguably the worst 2 teams in the Premier League that stand a good chance of being relegated and the standard of football has been poor for long periods.
One of our most entertaining players has been inexplicably loaned to an Italian club and our club captain hasn't had a look in. Luck? Say no more?

If i remember right im sure theres a certain person that will prove me wrong. if I am but in dyche last games I think we had something like 30 shots on goal and still lost you need players who want to score and can at least be bothered to. dire is the word.

Woods miss was even worse and despite scoring a good one Ndoye missed some sitters. Finishing was woeful all round.
Glasner did his homework (well he should know all about them) and exposed all Palace's weaknesses so really not much more he could have done.
Defense is crap without Milenkovic. Sels is a busted flush and finished at this level.
Cannot for the life of me see why McAtee keeps starting though as he just isn't affecting the games and give Netz a chance for crying out loud.

I completely agree with Humorist, we could have been 4 up by half-time without breaking a sweat, you can't blame the manager for people not tucking guilt edge chances away.
You can clearly see improvement today but just not the result we hoped for.

I believe all of us fans talking 'garbage' are the ones who have seen the facts early and clearly in OG's tenure so far. This guy is not the right fit for Forest. I'd be amazed if this wasn't borne-out over the next 3-4 games. Big M will then pull the trigger and we'll be back into the chaos the fat Greek seems to love creating at his own and our club's expense.

Good posts Lego and Bowie. The game lasts for 90 minutes not 40.
Skeggs, SDs last game was a nil nil draw at home to Wolves when we had 35 shots with 10 on target. I remember it well, a rainy night in Nottingham ( and seemed to be raining all over the world ).
By contrast, yesterday Forest had 24 shots with 6 on target and got one goal from a defensive blooper.
Palace had 13 shots with 6 on target and scored from 3 of them.
Dyche got a point, OG got zilch.
Happy to be of service and put you right yet again mate.???.

It's a bit late in the day now but whether it be business, sport or pleasure, never change a winning combination.
Some of you have referred to our we played under VP. He came in after the disastrous Dyche and transformed the same players that had been failing. I am an admirer of Marinakis, but why replace a successful manager after the previous 3 failings.
I do think Glasner will get things sorted but why did'nt Mr. M persevere with the first successful manager in a year. I really do hope OG can pull it off as he is a proven manager but after being in business I know you tinker with a winning combination at your PERIL!

Can't argue that with you, DTP. Sels has his admirers, so it's quite feasible that he could go this summer. So Henderson, plus a new backup keeper, would make sense. I too liked VP; without him we would be in the Championship this season, but it was always going to be Glasner or Silva.
VP was just a stop-gap. It was debated on this site, when he first came in, what was going to happen. The new man has the potential to make us top ten at the least, I believe. What's done is done, no going back.

Interesting what you say about Watford. Two brothers friends of mine were avid Watford fans for years, even met Elton John, They have seen an unbelievable decline and blame the owners and no one else.
Their change of managers was legend but I think Forest have even exceeded this, Watford let some good players leave and rep0laced them with loan players from the other club same ownership.
It did'nt work. This idea of owning several clubs and swapping players does'nt seem to work.

Now is our chance to level with Palace on points but overtake Leeds who we play next week. Also to showcase our new signing I think is supposed to be 6ft 7" tall so I would like to see him alongside Jesus.
Still not sure who we are signing as I've never known such complication involved in signing them. Some don't know whether they want to come or not. The player agrees terms then we get gazumped.
I think teams know we are one of the few clubs that have the cash and they are trying to screw us to the floor. Example Mateta wanted to come now he wants to go elsewhere and yet Palace say they are paying £50 million for the norwegian guy from Wolves to replace him! also don't think AC Milan can afford him

Skegsjay when Billy Davies was sacked he had at least 11 injuries but the owner just did'nt seem to appreciate that, Its a bit late now for Billy but Sean Dyche is the nearest to it. Some people say that he is too defensive but did'nt the great Brian Clough advocate star building from the back and stop conceding goals. However having a ready made squad of players its a different ball game and I would think Dyche would be in his seventh heaven.
We have the players just get the system right!
