Not sure why many are saying our squad won’t suit Dyche. Our squad is tailor made for him especially down the spine of the team!

As much as I want Marco Silva to be the new manager I can’t see us paying what Fulham would want.
I suspect it will be dyche which is fine if it’s only until the end of this season.
Other available managers I wouldn’t mind us looking at are:
Marco Rose
Ten Hag
Adi Hutter

Realistically dyche isn’t a long term answer for us I think he’d be okay until the end of the season to make us more solid and he’d bring cohesion to the club I think.
Then get Marco silva in summer once his contract at Fulham’s expired.

Dyche I believe has hesitated as he does not want a short term contract, until the summer. I would agree with him. So the choice is Silva bring bought out. Peanuts compared to the losses we will have if relegated.

Far too much negativity around where we’re going to finish the league.
I think ange will actually do quite well for us especially with the squad at his disposal. I don’t think we’ll finish as high as last year but a chunk of that will be down the extra games. I imagine we’ll finish 9th-11th with a semi final trip in Europe.

A good assessment SY. I guess it's going to boil down to the speed of change. Ange and Nuno promote chalk-and-cheese styles of play - high press vs low press, full backs out wide vs full backs moving centrally to load the midfield.
However, I do think that we have the potential to adopt his style of play very well - as long as he doesn't try to do it overnight.

He said in an interview that he would respect the style players a used to and work from the ground up. My earlier comments regarding Nuno staying aged like warm milk ?? Ange is definitely a gamble but he is a very very good manager and a strong character, he has a great team he's inheriting and many young players to develop. I'm excited and a little nervous.

Well what a rough few days or so.
Elanga and MGW on the way out oh dear not good from the people at the top!
Got to be Harvey Elliot to replace MGW, he’s the only player who wouldn’t be a drop off that is a likely target.
Bakayoko is now leverkussen bound so who knows what we’re going to do for wingers. Fofana perhaps? Yildiz?
Could be a rough transfer window and next season if we are not careful.

He won’t be…. Unbeaten after 3 games 5 points (should probably be 7) not a bad start at all. Definitely improved on last season. Too many negative nancys about.

We have enough at full back in my opinion.
Zinchenko is a solid experienced player and will prove to be a very good addition over the course of the season.
Neco and Aina can play both sides (obviously Aina is injured)
Savona looks solid from what we’ve seen so far.
Once Domi is back from injury I think he’d be more than capable of doing a job at full back if we were desperate.
Perhaps a youngster can force their way into the first team squad for training and impress if need an extra body.

Can see this being true. It’s clear Mr M wanted a more forward thinking manager Ange obviously fits that mould, so I do think most of the players brought in fit that mould far better than Nunos counter attacking style.
