I bumped into Michael Dawson at a garden centre in East Bridgford earlier today. I told him we needed him back and with a big smile on his face he said "next week, next week".
I hope so.
1.) 30 Oct 2019 06:03:28
Hope you didn’t bump into him too hard, he’ll be out injured again 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸ Great news if true though, we could do with him back asap. Great player and organiser.
2.) 01 Nov 2019 09:23:21
Is that next week or the next week lol ðŸ˜.

Just been looking at some stats.
7 games since CH joined us and we've gained 12 points. That puts us joint 5th in the division on current form.
Some of you may argue that we've played a number of lower teams, but I'd counter that by saying that CH had no preparation time and no opportunity to get to know players.
Moving in the right direction it feels.
1.) 07 Nov 2020 18:22:21
It is the lower teams Forest usually struggle against 🤔.
28 Oct 2020 20:39:48
Never a red card, at most a yellow.
Iannou's foot looked like it bounced up off the ball.
Decisions like that just ruining football.
1.) 28 Oct 2020 20:43:50
Yup, yellow card all day.
2.) 28 Oct 2020 20:45:43
Same old story - small decisions in the run up to the goal cost the corner. Then a poor red card in my opinion - don't think he caught the player and he got the ball first.
But Forest are still poor. Lack ideas, lack pace, lack any passing ability. Despite all the additions, i just think we look apathetic and sluggish.
No points tonight. Do well to contain this to a 1-0 loss.
CH got a real job on here.
3.) 28 Oct 2020 20:46:25
Lucky though with the penalty not given raised hands are a penalty.
4.) 28 Oct 2020 20:46:49
Was definitely a red enough said.
5.) 28 Oct 2020 20:49:27
Arsh yellow card at most. Go 3 at back now. Or see how we go for 20 minutes.
6.) 28 Oct 2020 21:05:51
If that was on the other side we’d all be screaming it was a red, in this generation of football you can’t go into a tackle like that an it was needless anyway, but bigger picture is we play like the kit we’re wearing camouflage, this isn’t a football team.
17 Oct 2020 18:46:48
Just been studying our fixtures up until the end of November. Call me a fool if you like, but I'm feeling so upbeat and positive I can see us in or knocking on the door of the top 10 by then.
Our new players will continue to gel and CH will get to mould the team/ squad into a formidable unit.
I wonder what odds we are for promotion now?
1.) 17 Oct 2020 19:32:57
33 to 1.?
30 Sep 2020 16:56:32
Can I add Lars Veldwjk to FF79"'s dross list?
1.) 30 Sep 2020 18:43:25
Thomas Lam?
2.) 30 Sep 2020 18:59:57
Mustafa carayol
Theres far to many.
3.) 30 Sep 2020 19:27:41
Think Lam could have been OK ,wholehearted versatile energetic ,goals in him ,got poor treatment to me .
CARLO
4.) 30 Sep 2020 19:43:19
They tried to play lam as a central defender a couple of times he was horrific.
5.) 30 Sep 2020 19:56:46
Jonathan Greening. On a different note Ian Wright on loan 12 games 6 goals liked that at the time and also Des Walker coming back for a second spell loved that ex lorry driving legend, just not in the fa cup final, sorry Des only joking.
6.) 30 Sep 2020 20:09:48
Andy Cole, wonder how many remember him coming in for a bit, think he might have scored once.
7.) 30 Sep 2020 20:18:00
Neil Lennon another waste of time,
8.) 30 Sep 2020 21:08:29
Flipping heck, Andy Cole. I'd forgotten that.
10 appearances for us. no goals. A cracking player though.
So we've had John Terry, Ian Wright, Aaron Raamsey and Andy Cole in the Garribaldi. Oh, and Charlie George ( he's one for the oldies) .
Not a bad list.
9.) 30 Sep 2020 21:38:31
Charlie george looked class as did stan bowles.
10.) 30 Sep 2020 21:54:13
Fff79 seem to remember Brian hardly ever played bowles in away games,
11.) 30 Sep 2020 22:11:44
He didn't but he knew when to play him.
Only one sub in those days so you had to get it right.
Although always remember clough taking bryn gunn off after 20 mins for giving the ball away
Wonder how many would be on the pitch now?
12.) 30 Sep 2020 22:23:48
Fff79 about none,
13.) 30 Sep 2020 22:26:50
Seem to remember clough doing something like that in a cup game v palace, subbed someone for giving the ball away, leaving us playing with 10 for the last 10 mins, lol.
14.) 30 Sep 2020 22:32:31
Also remember Charlie George scoring when we beat Barcelona, lol can anyone imagine ever saying that again! 😊.
15.) 30 Sep 2020 22:44:29
He was right though stevie.
I can't get my head around how bad we are at passing the ball to each other especially under any sort of pressure.
I read a lot about fans being bored by passing in your own half?
There is nothing wrong with that, while ever you have the ball the opposition can't hurt you.
Its when you pressure those tactics and that's our problem, we get pressured and there is no outlet, just a punt up the field to grabban.
It was ok initially but opposition has soon cottoned on and now we panic under forcing tactics.
Maybe taylor is better at holding the ball up in those circumstances, but who has the pace or the free role to capitalize?
16.) 30 Sep 2020 22:58:44
Aint all been bad stevie .
It turned that way when the committee finally had to concede to owners.
All been sh*t
I count myself very lucky and loved every minute of it.
66/ 67great attacking entertaining side but getting old.
Clough's reign was something very special.
I just want success again for the likes of my nephew and my kids that have seen nothing but a badly run club.
I think to paul hart and how close and then they pulled the heart of the team by letting three best players leave for nothing and didn't even bother replacing them.
Bassets forest was a great exciting side only for the pratts to sell one of our best players behind his back.
Billy like him or not would have done it but for not backing him after narrowly failing.
Its time for an owner just for once to make the right decision.
17.) 30 Sep 2020 23:11:40
Seem to remember Andy Cole saying he left Forest due to a remark made to him by one Mr Clough, I could be wrong but am sure that's what I read.
18.) 30 Sep 2020 23:15:26
Also remember Martin Oneil saying Clough told him he didn't score enough. Martin said he scored 2 goals in the next game and both times ran up to the dugout to celebrate. Clough's response dropped him for 2 weeks, classic Clough.
19.) 30 Sep 2020 23:41:36
Selling withe and then birtles for having beards.
Larry for not wearing a tie?
But then giving them a drink before a European game and gemmil moaning?
He just knew his team and how to get the best out of them.
They aren't robots that respond to how you want it .
They are human and some need a rollicking, but some need an arm to get the best out of them.
I just wish marinakis could take a step back and take a long hard look at things?
Impatience gets you nowhere, especially in football.
Get aproper infrastructure of management in place, by that i mean a chairman to correspond with the fans.
A Dof that has the right contacts and is forward thinking.
A coach that can work alongside that dof when identifying the player or the position we need to strengthen.
We just keep going from one chaotic season to another.

Apparently this story is a case of Chinese whispers. Bill Kenwright was overhead in conversation with his partner Jenny Seagrove in a West End restaurant by a reporter who only heard Ken's answer. Jenny had asked "what would you like for Christmas darling? " and Ken replied. "Ooh I'd like cash for Christmas please"
Panic over 😆.

Agreed.
Even with eleven players we look ponderous and lacking ideas.
17 Oct 2020 19:46:17
Ff79, would that make him a stuffed PEPper?
30 Sep 2020 21:08:29
