When i heard the stat that charlton hadnt won away since august i thought, here we go. the championship really is a funny league. what a kick in the teeth tonights result was, especially after such a good win against leeds. 5 changes was crazy, did they have knocks or were they being saved for west brom. i don't believe in saving certain players for certain games. concentrate on the now and the 3 points that's available and keep the momentum going. very dissapointed but we move on to the next game and hopefully a far better performance.

Smithy we have lost 8 games now probably most at home. This one hurts the most as SL keeps making simple stupid mistakes. Yes he owns up but has he learned from them? The players that came in look simply awful. Us bringing in a player that has not featured in huddersfields last 19 games says much about the quality!

Jack robinson to sheff utd apparently. he's hardly played that well for us this season yet a prem team want him. its a funny old game.

1.) 19 Jan 2020 19:09:40
Maybe Chema stays if that's the case? Can't see Robinson getting a game in front of Ribero any time soon.

I have no idea why Osborne can't fill in at left back for the dirty blades lol.

2.) 19 Jan 2020 22:13:24
Because Osborn is cack.

3.) 20 Jan 2020 11:16:39
Strange one to let him go as we need cover at left-back if Ribeiro gets injured. Chema is not a natural left back but maybe Lamouchi has something up his sleeve?

4.) 20 Jan 2020 13:32:26
Sheffield United have got Robinson cor a bargain price to free up funds for elsewhere. Now get some more of the unwanted players gone.

5.) 20 Jan 2020 14:57:38
He was ok going forward but liability in defence and if the fee being said is a million that's good price.

6.) 20 Jan 2020 15:51:36
I would say that ยฃ1m will be only if he plays a certain amount of games and so on.

7.) 21 Jan 2020 19:26:01
Chema might do a decent job at left back matty cash as turned out be be a cracking right back, plus how many times as robinson as cost us with sloppy defending so put the 1 million to good use.

13 Jan 2020 12:10:32
Fresh reports suggesting that gayle is available for 8 million. only snag, he's injured at the moment. the lyle taylor link seems to have gone very quiet and all the rumours seem to be glen murray and nketiah from arsenal. anyway, we are nearly half way through the month so would be nice to see somebody come in because all this speculation is doing my head in ๐Ÿ˜–.

Smithy69

1.) 13 Jan 2020 12:47:47
Gayle for ยฃ8m,that is a big drop in price, you could say if his goals got us promoted it would be the bargain of the decade but by the time he recovers from his injury, gets match fit the season will be almost over by which time our season could already be decided. I do no want ang players coming in for the sake of it, they have to be what we need and better than we already have.

2.) 13 Jan 2020 14:38:03
Id take Nketiah and Murray. They bring something different that we don't already have. And its all well and good people saying splash the cash on Gayle or whoever, but the manager isn't going to play 2 up top, so who sits on the bench Grabban or Gayle?

3.) 13 Jan 2020 20:58:06
Thatโ€™s right Rick one will become disengaged potentially when not the number one.

01 Sep 2019 00:55:03
Sow completely changed the game and has to start for me. overall I think we've made a decent start considering the amount of new players gelling and fixtures we've had. i think sl will learn a lot from today's game and it's refreshing how honest he is. still only lost 1 game so we are moving in the right direction and hopefully we can kick on after this break.

What is it with us. it was the same last season. we can't seem to string 2 or 3 wins together. i know it's early days but what a contrast from the birmingham game. just when you think things are clicking into place we put in a first half performance like that. fair enough we were better second half so got to be happy with a point in the end. needs to be a big improvement though or we'll get nothing at fulham.

1.) 22 Aug 2019 10:55:33
On the day Brum were very poor. This is the Championship, anyone can beat anyone. Having said that, charlton appeared to boss us in midfield and a hole opened up for them on our left in the first half. To me Semedo Sow and Bostock with Silva or Carvalho should be our midfield. We have been lucky so far whereas in previous years we had no luck at all. Fulham will tell us how far behind the top 6 we still are.

2.) 23 Aug 2019 18:06:57
Bsered i can tell you how far behind the top 6 we are ๐ŸŒ ๐ŸŒ apart lol ๐Ÿ˜†.

3.) 24 Aug 2019 12:21:53
Unbeaten in 3 is stringing some results together!

4.) 25 Aug 2019 09:59:30
fulham really showed us how far behind the top 6 we are didn't they ๐Ÿ˜‚ forget the cup game in the week and rest players for our home game against preston on saturday so we can hopefully secure back to back wins, and 10 out of 12 points going into the international break.

5.) 26 Aug 2019 00:07:37
Easy to do as we have fourty players to pick from.
Me personally keep playing your strongest side, it keeps an understanding and team spirit going.
I'd love a cup run and to beat the enemy in the process would be even better.
Over to you Lamouchi as you've got it right so far.

Just read that sheff wed only won 1 of last 10 so that means they'll beat us then. sounds stupid but it always seems to happen. for example, a player who hasn't scored in a while always seems to score against us or a certain team who haven't beat us at the cg for ages will come and beat us. same as matt smith for millwall, probably hadnt scored for ages until he came up against us and who can forget rhodes. obviously i hope i'm very wrong and we thrash them because we could do with a big confidence boost.

1.) 08 Mar 2020 20:24:18
Well that's cheered us all up ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€.

2.) 08 Mar 2020 21:55:36
Sorry guys but these things do seem to happen to us. on the other hand, at least its not another home game because we all know how crap we've been playing there.

3.) 09 Mar 2020 11:40:51
Think I'll wait to see our team lineup before I put a bet on, at least we are away!

08 Mar 2020 15:25:30
All this talk of players being tired and need a rest. all the teams play the same amount of games and the millwall players looked ok. these are professional athletes who train every day to be in peak condition who play once maybe twice a week. i don't get it.

1.) 08 Mar 2020 16:48:23
Itโ€™s called excuse for a poor performance.

2.) 08 Mar 2020 16:49:49
Itโ€™s a fair point but itโ€™s also an advantage if you didnโ€™t play Monday and Friday. Itโ€™s not an excuse for Friday but I think it makes a difference.

3.) 08 Mar 2020 16:48:08
Saturday, Tuesday / Wednesday, and Saturday is three times in a week but as you say all teams are the same.

4.) 08 Mar 2020 19:10:29
My main point is sky moving or games and imposing a Monday and a Friday seems a bit naff - naff for us fans too.

5.) 08 Mar 2020 20:16:25
Totally agree mate spoils the weekend Friday night is the worst of the lot.

6.) 08 Mar 2020 22:37:00
Sunday at midday is a pain in the a*** as well.

7.) 08 Mar 2020 22:51:39
Yep mate especially if the vicar has a long sermon. ๐Ÿ˜.

8.) 09 Mar 2020 08:12:14
Especially mate๐Ÿ˜Š.

03 Mar 2020 18:23:54
Havent had the pleasure of seeing diakhaby yet as i can't get to many matches due to work commitments but having read all the posts it sounds like he's one of the worse players to wear our shirt. andre selenzi anyone.

1.) 03 Mar 2020 19:50:59
Hes just fast smithy can't control the ball and can't stay on his feet, very poor player.

2.) 03 Mar 2020 20:51:38
What's the point in being fast if u can't do it with the ball at your feet and who scouted him. sounds like huddersfield have had our pants down.

3.) 03 Mar 2020 23:27:38
Anyone seen the screen in the film forest gump where he is playing American football. He collects the ball and runs the full length of the pitch and nobody can catch him . Trouble is he cannot stop running, my how that boy can run. That's forest, forest gump. Ring any bells.

4.) 04 Mar 2020 04:25:36
dire-kharby doesn't look good enough, bit disappointed Jenkinson hasn't had a fair chance now he`s fit and Cash back up front attacking defenders, got to be better over the run -in than playing him.

5.) 04 Mar 2020 07:26:15
Jenkinson doesn't have the right attributes for Lamouchi's football. He isn't measured in his attacks and then gets caught out all the time at the back.

Hopefully swansea can do us a big favour tonight.

4.) 26 Feb 2020 20:52:17
Aps1952 yes mate looks unlikely but still only 1-0 you never know.

5.) 27 Feb 2020 02:35:59
I hope they are woeful when we play them.

6.) 27 Feb 2020 14:21:40
Suppose they suddenly turn into Barcelona when we hit town!

I can relate to that skegs because i too suffer with bouts of anxiety and the occasional panic attacks. it certainly doesn't help with the situation at the moment. this is where social media can be a good thing as it means we are never alone and there's always someone to talk to. can't wait till we come out of all this and the football starts again so we can get back to the good old banter. keep well boys.
