All the years I have followed and supported this very good site, I have always kept my own personal posts re Nottingham Forest. However I feel I must comment on the situation in Ukraine. The people of this country are suffering at the hands of a psychopathic bully boy dictator, who as no regard for life or genuine peace. His agenda is not supported in his own country by millions of people and if it was down to the ordinary Russian it would not be happening. The thing that is so impressive is the incredible bravery and determination of the Ukraine people to stand up to this evil individual against the might of the invaders. Ordinary untrained citizens taking up arms to fight for their country. Impressive is not a strong enogh word to express my huge admiration for these peaceful, patriotic people. They are huge underdogs but the world is rooting for them like I have not witnessed before. My apologies for using this site for something it is not designed for, but I just had to express how much admiration I have for the people of Ukraine. Good luck to you all.

Think we all feel the same Retford. I don’t get why the rest of the world is doing nothing to help these poor people who’ve done nothing wrong. How can we just sit back and let this happen? When Iraq invaded Kuwait the Yanks were straight in, but there was oil involved. (With all due respect to your Mrs. Bowie) I reckon we are all scared of Russia’s military might and if we go in it will start a massive war, China and North Korea will back the Ruskies and then cue the nukes. But we can’t just let them do what they want.
