2 questions and please give opinions.
Why aren't we spending the €36 mil on Sangare? He is incredible and would add crazy depth to our backline. We could actually have a real rotation.
Also would we rather a DM or another quality striker. May I say Awonyi is the rubbish and I really think he is a handful and just happens to pop up in the right place at the right time. Some backup qpule be great.
Wood is a generous 6 at best.

I'd imagine Sangare would only join Forest if other clubs chose not to sign him. He's been linked with Liverpool and Bayern Munich as well, so I'd imagine he'd prefer them over us.
Might have a chance if the big clubs choose other targets and it is quite hopeful if Forest are still pursuing this deal because you'd like to think they wouldn't pursue a player that had zero interest. I'm sure the club has spoken to some representatives at the very least.
Rangers also play PSV in the final Champions League Play-Off, so I'd imagine PSV want to keep him for that anyway. Forest probably know he won't be moving until towards the end of the window, hence the tentative initial bids.
Overall though, I'd say a deal is unlikely.

Yeah I don't see the fuss about taiwo, on form, right place right time, a lot of luck, rarely strikes it cleanly, just a big unit in the box, doing well, but these ten goals a season strikers to me are just top championship.

Congratulations on the birth of the new addition to your family, my fellow red. Hopefully he or she is a healthy baby.
I don't know much about the Alberto kid but we could do with another striker. If the reported £25 million is to be believed then we could afford him on a five year contract (£5 million a year for PSR purposes). If the player wants to test himself in the best league in the world then you'd assume he would come to Forest.

First priority for me is to not sell. I’ll be over the moon if we don’t but rather suspect someone is waiting suited and booted with a well thumbed PSR compliance book in their hand. It’s hard to progress as a club like Forest, for years we had to sell as we didn’t have a wealthy owner - as long ago as I can remember - now we have and could throw money at players to keep them that’s not allowed either.

Wow, what a way to wake up. Lucky my house isn't made of sticks or it would have collapsed from the sound waves produced from my sheer jubilation.
Thought we were unlikely with the elanga offside. You can't score a goal with your arm so why the f. k can you let arm be offside. That rule needs to change, such a joke. I thought we also got away with a couple, Anderson on Rogers was a definite pen.
Also have to say maybe one of the greatest saves of all time from Martinez. Holy sh. t o think I've watched it 100 times. Absolutely had no right ato save that.
Finally what character and determination to the never say die attitude. Reminded my of united under Fergie. Kept pushing and grinding. Well done to the club, players and is supporters. We could be ahead of manc after nearly half a season. F. king wild. COYR.

Wow, getting a little ahead of ourselves we are doing the business but realistically we are playing good football but not top 6 football. A few hiccups coming, Newcastle and Arsenal then a few top 10 to play. I reserve my judgement till the new year.
But we are having a brilliant run no doubt about that.

We currently have the 3rd best defence as far as goals conceded in the premier league after 5 games. That's impressive. More goals are definitely needed, I hope Nuno shifts Anderson into that number 10 role next game and let's Yates start.
Our structure is very sound and if we can not lose our focus on that last 5 minutes in each half, we could turn 1 point into 3 more often. I really like our squad right now and our depth is something to be admired for a 3rd year team. We definitely need a hungry young striker. Don't know if the books can handle it?

We was lucky this season so far, not having to sell key players, don't think it will happen again. We are in the same situation as wolves, palace, build a team then having to sell best players. As for a forward, I think Nuno can, and will play with a fluid front line without a recognised centre forward if need be.
Good to have a football banter about football for a few hours?.

I think if we make any European spot it will be incredible. A deep cup run would also be great. Unless we are willing to break he wage budget on an established striker who wanted to come to us, it's always a gamble.
