Afternoon all. Just been at the ticket office and the girl just told me forest close to sorting out the zaha loan. Would be a huge signing but I would be very surprised. COYR!
1.) Mancienne, Lansbury, Zaha = wow!
2.) I wouldn't be surprised if we got Zaha on loan, Forest are an attractive club to come to at the moment going by the summer signings we got in, would be a great addition,real pace going forward with likes of Assombalonga and Antonio with players like Reid and Burke supplying the passes, completely better style of play and could produce the results needed.

Didn't realise the girls in the ticket office are sorting our transfers out. Maybe they're to blame for darlow and lascelles going. Not fawaz after all.
4.) The above post tickled me haha! Would love Zaha to come and with SP's connection it's certainly possible. Similarly to others though, I feel the lure of a prem club would be more appealing to him though. In particular Crystal Palace where he's already spent time on loan. Would be a great addition although don't see it as necessary as some others. My only complaints with Antonio was that his touches were sometimes quite heavy, Zaha would be a cross between Pato and Antonio I think!

Upfront wing. Don't get me wrong would love him but I'd much sooner have Lansburys contract sorted and another
Centre midfielder of quality who's not got a history of injurys
Cos this is position that will cost us over season. Think we've got plenty of attacking options in Antonio pato Burke
Fryatt lars and Britt. Defensive midfield is were we need
Cover/competition as Vaughen will be lucky if he plays 20 games a season.

Same stuff different close transfer window. 15m In 300k out . As always I was hopeful of a world beater but as a long standing season ticket holder. I deep down knew. hope the 3 new lads play a part. just feel cheated by fawaz. as always.

The life of a forest fan that is what fawaz is supposed to be a forest fan. If he had to sell Burke to balance books fair enough just stop the bs about it being re invested and that we'd see his plan come Wednesday. Well it is now Thursday and I think most of us can see your plan. Hopefully he'll see my banner next home game fawaz out.

Amazing. i had been saying fox is rubbish for ages but all i got was people saying i'm an person for saying harding better. I love pearce for being a legend but his management cv ain't great to be honest. Did people expect mr clough number 2. He cannot cut it end of. Sorry stuart but you are not the man for the jib. Sorry to say. love you for all you did but asa manager. you will ever step up !

I've posted lots of times to say Harding not Fox and Osborn not Lansbury but no-one seemed to agree. Again Riera, Laing, young Walker and young Burke, Grant and Evitmov need to play in the First team, otherwise we will face exactly the same problems next season. Time to blood the young'uns.

Ed, do you think landsbury will go? If it was me in his shoes and I wanted to stay I would go out of my way to tell people. I think he is prem bound as he prob thinks he belongs there being from the arsenal set up. Myself I think osbourne could step up and don't forget a couple of years ago we had an outstanding midfielder. 1 of the best. Think his name is chris cohen. . we do have stacks of defensive cover. Would love to see chris back in that midfield roll.!
{Ed034's Note - I think he wants prem and does want to go. if pearce can explained we will let you go, if you wish, but only if we get offered the amount we think you are worth, I would hope he is professional enough to agree.
I don't think cohen works best through the middle. if he comes into midfield, I would rather see him wide
1.) Cohen is one of, if not this leagues best LB when fit and we have cover in the middle. I would definitely prefer him down the left. Reid, Vaughan, Osbourn and paterson would be my midfield 4. if HL goes of course.
2.) The only problem with that midfield is there isn't any height so we could be caught out with big balls. Also it lacks strength, Vaughan isn't a push over but he isn't exactly an enforcer. Apart from that going forward it's solid.

Hi ed. Just read the fawaz statement and yes while its not nice to see 2 talented lads leave I can fullt understand why and if we can have a stronger and healthier squad from it then that can only be good for us. He really should have kept stuart in the loop though as SP coming out with the fact he knew nothing about it makes us look like a bunch of muppets. I have no doubt fawaz is trying his best but he really needs to talk to the staff more regarding the running of our beloved reds.

Hi Ed, not a rumour, just a story!
I picked up my lad last night as he returned from his French school trip.
As the coach pulled n I could see his excited happy face. I thought he is probably glad to be home, had a great time or has missed me. As the bus doors opened he came running off waving an ipad at me. DAD. DAD, ( I was waiting for tales of france). I MET DAN HARDING AT THE SERVICES AND GOT A SELFIE WITH HIM Lol.
apparently he chatted for ages about forest and the world cup and was a truly nice bloke.
He was consistent at left back last season and for me better cover than Fox!
{Ed034's Note - he was consistant indeed, but it wasnt in a good way.
i do not like to call players, but he was awful last season.
he may be a nice bloke and it sounds like he is. unfortuntaly he is a liabilty and fills me with dread whenever i see him in the side
1.) Agree with Ed every time I saw him play I couldn't understand how he could be called a footballer. He may well be a really nice bloke so nothing against him personally but never a Championship player.
2.) Watching him play was so frustrating! How he made it to a professional I will never know! It was like he was watching the game & not playing! You could see Reidy turning to the left seeing Harding & turning back again to the right! Please find another club!

Fox making the tea and bringing round half time oranges. I guess our hands were tied into the permanent deal because he was dire for most of his loan spell. Always found wanting and out of position. Hope it was just teething probs and to be honest I think harding is a much more solid LB as cover for cohen!
Is fox deff signing on. Hope not. He prob only had 1 good game. Was out of position always and always booked. Now lee peltier different story. Consistantly good at championship level so a must for me.
Pearce "sorting it out will require 10-12 players out. at least half first team and as many in. We need rid of every so called striker and get fresh in. This team will never ever get promoted. over rated and over paid!
Desire does not win promotions tho. all the fans saying can't wait to be shouting psycho psycho. just hope that by next xmas they are not shouting psycho out! i'm not convinced he is the right man but he is forest thru and thru and I wish him all the sucess. just hope it doesn't end on a sour note. we as fans and him as 1 of the best players to pull on the shirt don't deserve it to go badly wrong. Hence I think a. n. other for the job but hey. come on pearcey prove me wrong!
