Evening lads. To start off, I'd like to say I think out recent flurries in the window have been very promising thus far and injury free - we stand an excellent chance of
automatic promotion.

A good friend of mine is now a fitness coach at Derby County. His younger brother Joe went to school with Lacelles and they still spend a great deal of time at each other's places which explains how my friend knows him personally.
When my friend asked Lacelles about incoming bids for him he simply stated that he will NOT be leaving this season. He has been down to White Hart Lane to view the facilities and nothing more. Pearce is keen on him and will be doing so unless a mind blowing fee comes in for him.

When I realised my friend had such valuable inside information on behind the scenes I began to probe him for more information. Despite our initial love for BD, the players hated him. Ben Osbourn was said to have had a massive busy up with him at training which explains why he didn't get football under Davies. Post Derby game Lacelles fell out with BD over his continual demands to play "Long balls forward" which Lacelles highly contested and as a consequence, this fell out.

I've visited this forum every day for the past two years and seen a lot of rubbish written, the fact I've only chosen to write now is testement to the fact this is true.

Lacelles is staying!!

I have been told certain things in the past by people within in the club who are in the know, only for the exact opposite to happen a day later!

2.) I find it very difficult to believe that a young player like Lascelles who had just broken into the first team would argue the toss with the manager about his style of play!

3.) I'd like to visit the states you reckon I should tease mesen and pop over, have a look round, think to mesen "wow this looks awesome", only to think "I don't know why I've wasted my time and money checking the place out my mrs says we can't go until next year at the earliest"??
I thought I believed this post until u said "he only went for a look round"- what and the press weren't all over it? Bobbins mate I'm afraid.
Remember that bloke at QPR the other year? Turned up unexpectedly and looked like a right mug if it wasn't the press somebody would've snapped him on their mobile or summat and we'd all know!
Sorry fella I just don't buy it

4.) @Notts Loyal:

It was Peter Odemwingie :)

5.) 14 Jul 2014 10:55:37
This post was written off my phone last night while travelling back from London, so please don't allow the seemingly poor grammar and spelling remove from the fact that this is genuine.

Lacelles will not be going for anything under 8million plus add ons and currently we've received nothing even close to that figure - despite some dubious rumours a few days ago.

6.) Dont buy this rumour at all. Why would he go to Spurs just to look at the facilities?

7.) Notts Loyal, you seem to be blissfully unaware that the Lacelles story has been all over the papers already? I'm not sure what point you're trying to allude to here but players are often invited down to view the facilities with their agents if there is interest from the club. It doesn't mean that they are obliged to join. Lacelles has been to both Tottenham and Arsenal's ground before. So I'm inclined to say your sweet little anecdote about you and your wife going to the states is also "bobbins"

8.) The only point that is correct is that Lascelles is going nowhere this year.
If Luke Shaw is worth £30m+ after one season in the Premiership then why would you consider selling him for anything less than half that amount?

9.) Red City - your last post has made the original claims even more unbelievable. You are correct in that a move for Lascelles has been all over the papers so why do you think that him visiting a clubs training ground wouldn't also be picked up on? SSN would've been reporting it within hours

10.) Cheers red city what I'm pointing out is that it would be backed up by the press with pictures! But no you're quite right I know nothing about football! Lol maybe I'll have to get me a mates brother who works for Leicester to get all my info in future!
Look you're free to answer back but please don't get on your high horse when someone questions a my mates dads brothers 2nd cousin 'info' gets questioned! lol
& cheers dude yes it was odemwingie!

11.) Because Jamaal visited the two clubs months back when he was initially linked with them.

I never said when he went. Sorry for the confusion

{Ed034's Note - now I can't be 100% in this, but I would presume that unless a offer was accepted, he wouldn't be allowed to meet them. I can't see why he would go there on a day out or that forest would be happy with him doing that if he did

12.) Know what you're saying ed but to be fair if it was months ago if his agent had a word in his ear he could've gone like literally months ago we've been reading it for about three months at least in the red tops I'd say the ONLY way he could've gone would've been maybe two appearances in OR he used the BD circus act debacle as a smoke screen!
Also thanks to OP. mate I do appreciate the banter is all in fair jest and quite right too
;-) if reds can't agree to disagree on here then where can we?
Lascelles stays is the upshot? Sweet I truly reckon it'll be January when Hobbs and Wilson are first choice up to him he's got a massive season ahead

13.) Sorry ed I probably should say too I reckon Laing will play a big part this year and expect Collins to go.
Then obvs there's Reira now too & maybe Haidera know we're ultra short now n maybe for kick off but ironically we have good depth there!

Speculation purely but I wouldn't be surprised for us to go back in for Adomah with an increased bid. The money from the sale of our two boys may be funding this. Reading between the lines we have agreed "something" with another club subject to is gaining extra revenue from the sale of our players. Phillip Hoisener was being watched when Pearce came in, it's possible it's him as well as Adomah? Again; this is purely theoretical but with the loan back deal discussed and the fee rising with extra clauses, then this could be a smart move from Forest.

Some reports on the net suggest that Fryatt wasn't in the squad for the game against Porto B. Do hope he's not joined the ranks in the injury room

Forest won against Porto B, 2-3. Goals from Lansbury, Veldwijk and McLaughlin. Great to see the dutch lad opening his scoring account with Forest. Also have a feeling this season we will see more of McLaughlin as a squad player.

Great pre-season so far. COYR

Anyone know where Fryatt was tonight

2.) Was he walking your dog Tony?

3.) No he wanted to use your name as a lead but I said you have a game in Portugal, but then the dog went missing and he didn't play

4.) Meeow!

5.) I was barking up the wrong tree there then!

The above post tickled me haha! Would love Zaha to come and with SP's connection it's certainly possible. Similarly to others though, I feel the lure of a prem club would be more appealing to him though. In particular Crystal Palace where he's already spent time on loan. Would be a great addition although don't see it as necessary as some others. My only complaints with Antonio was that his touches were sometimes quite heavy, Zaha would be a cross between Pato and Antonio I think!

Other forums touting this rumour to also be fake. Several people suggesting that person who has wrote this has spent a lot of time making it look convincing but that there is no truth in it. Would love it to be true but I can't see it. I think it's fair to say that SP is looking overseas for a striker though. Good move IMO

Am I the only one who thinks there's a large chance he will start ahead of Mackie? Don't get me wrong, I love Mackie and his work ethic is second to none but Burke's delivery and all round play I think might be of a higher quality.
