Evening Ed, I have heard that Michail Antonio (excuse the spelling) has had a medical this afternoon, with a fee of 400k the deal should be finalised in the next day or two. Any truth in this? Big strong fast and direct type of player but is he good enough?
{Ed034's Note - two seasons ago he was the top assists in this league. For me can be a good signing
1.) What happened to him last season. I cannot find any stats on him

2.) Played against us two seasons ago. if my memory is good. he's faster than lightning. replacement for Mackie ed'. just a thought. banter has been great today. ed' mischievous as usual. but we are all together in one thing, FTWD.
3.) Saw £1.4m being talked about on social media. Still, rather Antonio at that price than Adomah at £3.5m+.

4.) Ed, if we sign Antonio would he play ahead of Paterson or Burke great options on the wing.

5.) Also got a huge throw on him that is a weapon, longer than Halfords and could cause problems with lars in the box

I understand Cox is going, but still rate Mackie for his pace, work rate and playing with heart, but to few goal, just like Cox!
{Ed034's Note - disappointed but understand. He's in a big wage and if he isn't going to be seen as a automatic choice but instead a back up, he's a very expensive one
7.) Ed I had a look at stats and he wasnt anywhere near top. season before last he had around 9 league assists and the top assists was 14. not far behind. all depends on who is finishing the chances off doesn't it. I do think he will be a good signing though

8.) A very quick and strong winger, would be Adomah but we fauiled to sign him, he's a good player looking for a break to start his career

Ed, hearing off a mate of mine back home that Micah Richards is desperate to go out on loan to resurrect his career and that he fancies coming to Forest. Hope it's true as I think he's a terrific right back. Having Stuart Pearce as manager is proving a real bonus in getting players in. Any truth in this?.

3.) Why couldn't it happen? It is up to the player were he wants to play, he's hardly kicked a ball for man city past season, he has great respect for SP, and could come on loan to get game time, and work out his options! Be great if it comes off!

5.) I agree with everything you say Ed but if I was him I would try and find a relative from Scotland or somewhere and switch allegience (assuming he hasn't played a competitive game for England).
England are soooo poor I honestly think Forest could beat them (we'd be underdogs but like a Hull vs Arsenal)

{Ed034's Note - whoever we are backed by, they can only put in out market value when it comes to sponsorship. By sponsoring the city ground it'll be additional money but not enough to afford his wages, which are £60,000 a week.
He is being linked with Everton, Liverpool and Newcastle.

Have u heard any news about Michael Kightly (excuse spelling), from Stoke joining as they are having a serious clear out after getting several players in over the last few weeks.
Just something a mate has told me if true do u reckon he's good enough or more to the point the "right" type of player.

Was Thinking about Henri Lansbury how poor he has been this season, and the Sanctions the club are NOW under, if a Club came in with a bid of £3 Million or so in January would SP and FAH cash in.
Now i Haven't seen all of the games Henri has played in as i'm living over Here in Germany But the games i have seen bar a couple he has been poor Way below Last seasons Level.
I was sure he was going for a Suspension to get time off over Christmas, he picks up Way to many Bookings. So my Fellow reds what would you do Sell him Or not?. Merry Christmas everyone and a happy New Year.
1.) Too late to cash in now. By the sound of it we are nowhere near the figure needed to trade again so can't see the point in getting rid of one of our best players when we can't use the money.
He has been poor but he seems to be a different player when we have Reid in the side. The Reid Vaughan Lansbury combo seemed to work really well last season and now we have much better wide players and strikers.

5.) Good shout marco, as much as I would like to see pato get some game time, if we are going to go 4-4-2 I think Burke on the right instead. Better defensively and covers hunt more. Hunt and pato on the same side leaves us a bit to open defensively in my opinion
6.) Reid only a knock. Won't be playing tonight but nothing to worry about.
7.) Keeno I agree Burke is better defensively than pato but were at home against a team low on confidence all out attack and pato offers more attack wise am sure we wil beat Fulham.
8.) My view also Patterson and Lascelles at the bag or Wilso NOT Fo. It is not his natural position and Lascelles was first choice last season we shall see. Changes at half time my guess

Been strangled by FFP is a worry if the big prem clubs come in with a big offer, I think Fawaz would be tempted hope to god I'm wrong I wanna see Tyler playing for Forest for years to come.

No chance of broken bones would of been immobilised on the pitch before being stretchered off, if it is a dislocated knee it could be a month out or longer depends if there is any secondary damage, followed by how Britt heals. I for one hope it's not bad and he is a fast healer. Fingers crossed.

Any of their midfield, the strikers aren't too bad the defenders are pretty good oh yeah the goalie is prem class. All in all should be a cracking game of football.

The teams above us will also drop points to single out any game that'll cost us is plain daft you could say the Leeds game at the CG where the linesman robbed us of a victory another two points dropped or the Brum game (oh dear) or the home loss against flipping Millwall or the winless run of how many games???.
At the end of the day it's nice and pretty amazing to still have a chance of sneaking in the play offs at least we aren't looking over our shoulders at the relegation zone. Bkackburn could push us all the way aswell. I for one will enjoy the run in, if we don't make 6th hey ho another season in the Championship but if we sneak it I'm hoping for a play off final against the sheep with Dex scoring the winner in added on time. My fingers are crossed.
Strange in it more points in 4 games than the previous how many twenty odd. Was it back to back victory's in November Norwich and Wolves that was it, apart from the odd draw here and there till we beat Direby last month as I said strange. SP poor, players not playing for him etc etc. All I know is these players seem totally different under DF.
I thought it was a modern and stylish and totally unique design, you ain't going to confuse them for any other team. I like it.
Well said chopsy, he might be the "perfect" fit give the bloke a chance. We were all over the moon when SP was announced as manager that didn't work out well, so keep on whinging the opposite might happen.
