Well on the 1st Jan I posted that I met a Ceo of a football league club and he said that 100% the takeover would not take place. I was slated for it on here and people asked if he has a crystal ball etc. Seems he may have and he was right.

I won't comment on what else he says but let's just say we are in the mire. But let's hope the players that will be left want to play for the shirt and us as the supporters rather than the owner and his brigade.

Come on milborne, spill!

2.) 14 Jan 2017 17:22:02
Why won't you comment on what else he says? Why wouldn't takeover go through?

3.) 14 Jan 2017 17:40:49
What do you want, a badge?

4.) 14 Jan 2017 17:48:01
I know stuff but I can't say either because the people involved - that is the big hitters, the decision makers at NFFC - regularly check this site to see if there is a mole leaking information from the club. All I can say is be ready!

5.) 14 Jan 2017 18:25:40
Come on bins don't reveal your source obviously. but let us know please what it is to do with etc. You seem to have an idea what goes on behind the scenes. is fawaz hoping jjm is coming back with a better offer or was it in the clubs best interests after all that the deal didn't get done. its driving me mad. thanks pal.

6.) 14 Jan 2017 18:40:09
Decision makers at the city ground? The only decisions anyone makes there is whether to have another beer or whether to have a chicken or a beef pie.

7.) 14 Jan 2017 18:45:23
That would be Fawaz, wouldn't it?

8.) 14 Jan 2017 19:10:27
Well, you had a 50/50 chance. We'll stay up this season. Montanier will stay Lansbury will stay let's see if I'm right

9.) 14 Jan 2017 19:33:50
good evening mr fawaz, I know you've been extremely busy over the last few weeks but any chance you can stock mars bars and prawn cocktail crisps-it would make half times at the CG so much more enjoyable.

10.) 14 Jan 2017 20:28:57
Sadly Flash Rec, I was taking the mick. I have know idea what's happening at our club. It was a dig at Milnornered for withholding info when we are all desperate to know what's going on.

11.) 14 Jan 2017 20:45:42
No worries bins thanx for the reply mate. its driving me mad as it is with all of us.

12.) 14 Jan 2017 21:18:04
Good news is that JJM is still in London. Maybe. Just maybe.

13.) 15 Jan 2017 00:30:09
Like he went back to Swansea and Everton? I hate Fawaz as much as anyone else!

01 Jan 2017 23:03:50
On 9th June I posted that Lansbury would be leaving club. I was watching cricket at my local Herts team and he played for north mimms, which is where he lives. He has been wanting away from the club since then and Watford are now favourites as just down the road from his house.

However the interesting part to this story is that I have also met in the last couple of weeks at the same venue the CEO of a league one club that has no contact to forest, he was generally talking over a beer that I served him about football in general and I asked if any news on the takeover his answer was that he was 110% certain it wasn't happening so no wonder landsbury or any other player would want to go.

Fawaz stumbling blocks again the cause I've supported forest for 37 years I've been a season ticket holder, before moving to Herts I've travelled 550 miles a game to watch and my club is being wripped apart. Please someone come and change things for me and all my fellow forest supporters before its to late .

milbornered

1.) 02 Jan 2017 00:35:38
So he has no contact with forest but knows is 110% isn't happening 🤔.

2.) 02 Jan 2017 07:27:14
So you met him before the Americans shown there interest and he said 110% it wouldn't happen? who was this person, mystic meg?

3.) 02 Jan 2017 07:38:37
How would someone outside of Forest know how far along the take over is? Fawaz tweeted he will tell us more in the next week so let's just wait and see. These things take a long time especially when you have a dummy like Fawaz in charge. He needs to sell this club, he can't afford not to. Now if it isn't completed by the end of Jan and half our teams been sold, by all means panic.

4.) 02 Jan 2017 08:21:04
Fellow reds Lansbury may have another house elsewhere, but as far as l know he lives close to me unless he did a moonlight flit, we live close enough to Nottingham not to take to long to get to the City Ground.

5.) 02 Jan 2017 08:41:13
Lansbury is definitely talking to and prefers Watford
It will depend on their offer and the new owners offer. Nothing will be done until the takeover is completed.

6.) 02 Jan 2017 10:17:53
I know he has quite a few pads on being right next to watfords training ground however.

7.) 02 Jan 2017 12:53:50
Well it was the mixed reaction, and no up the Reds he's not mystic meg, if you read again I met this CEO guy two weeks ago ! I'm like all of us hope that he's wrong, but I guess that CEO's of other clubs will all talk and he seemed pretty confident it wasn't happening. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Well looks like that's it for tonight guys, I've been searching and trolling as much as I can and can't seem to see any more about forest doing business.

I do agree with all the posts regrading fawas handling of the Burke transfer.

If he was street wise surely we should have sell on clauses for Burke, and Antonio would have thought you could also have had some sort of clause for international call ups as well, especially as Antonio has just been called up to the England squad.
We sold a England international for a pittance again.

Proves how bad the guy at the top is, so pleased I didn't renew my season ticket this year.

1.) 31 Aug 2016 21:27:26
Must admit at the time I thought 7 mil for Antonio was decent money. Looks way short now looking at how much some are going for. Hendrick over 10 million! Ridiculous.

Was watching Cricket on Sunday and was told that the week before the Herts team I was watching were playing at North my ms a certain Henri landsbury was playing for North mymms, he was talking about his future and the uncertainty at the club at the moment, he has 2 prem clubs in for him but could say who because of legalities and agent etc.
didn't have a bad knock either and this write up in the paper

Kazmi and Henri Lansbury (35) produced a terrific eighth-wicket stand of 116 to put the outcome back in the balance, but it was not enough for North Mymms as they were eventually dismissed for 226.

Some would say it's just not cricket! But clearly it is!

1.) 09 Jun 2016 23:36:17
Landsbury will always have clubs come in for him always as always will he's a good player but at the end of the day he as stopped here and untill we accept a good bid for him or untill the player as said he wants to go he is a red and i would rather keep him untill he says different.

2.) 10 Jun 2016 15:18:33
What isn, t cricket is how e the fans of Nottinghan Forest are treated, the happy clappers are prepared to put up with it but not me, come on let's have some information from the club and quickly!

Well just returned from local pub after watching the game, must admit was a little disappointed with the result but thought with the team selection that it had a draw written all over it. We set up for a point and in all honestly I thought a point away in the first game would have been ok.

The plus from the game cam 10 mins from the end when Tyler came on at least he tried. Felt Eric was very poor, felt fox was marginally better, thought Hobbs was very laboured and his lack of pace was very obvious thought mills was ok and looks good signing.
Midfield I thought Lansbury did ok and got stuck in but the rest were very poor thought Antonio wasn't interested in first half but 2nd was marginally better ( think he really wants to go) techs injured but really couldn't be to fussed if stayed on or not and thought Maciene is a central defender not a midfielder ward did ok but never had the pace to get passed the Brighton defender who was backed up, by Lua Lua
Dex is as honest as the days are long but he can't do it all up, there
If we don't get a couple more in from this display could be a very tough and long season.
Shame as it's the first time since I've been 9 and supporting my club that I have decided to buy a season ticket even though I live in Somerset all I can say is things can only get better .

One other thing on talk sport this morning Alan Brazil said we had signed Frey but that was the last said all day about it .
We need someone otherwise goals will be very few and far between.

1.) 08 Aug 2015 07:11:37
Pretty fair assessment really. The game highlighted key areas where we are very weak. Up front and in the middle of the park. However, let's potentially put Frey and Gardner into that team and then add the likes of Reid, Cohen, fryatt and Britt at some point and it looks far far better so fingers crossed.
I'd have taken a point last night and I was happy at half time. I get the whole need not to concede first because how many times did we do it last season. But there has to be a balance and second half I thought we needed to come out and play higher and push them back a little but we sat even deeper and conceded. After that when we pushed up we lacked creativity but showed they weren't really that good a team. But if u just let anyone play they can look dangerous.
I really hope we don't have this attitude all season to away fixtures. We will pick up nothing all season. We are good enough to give most a game away from home and don't need to sit back and nick a point or three.
On a positive I thought Hobbs and mills look an excellent partnership. Lansbury showed that given the ball he has that class and hugely positive around young walkers potential. Would like to see us play with a number 10 to support dex next game. Perhaps ward or pato there with Burke and Antonio on the wings.
Not going to judge a season on one game but improvement and a shift in mentality needed

Why oh why, what does our owner see in this manager. ?
This is from his wpedia page.

The 2014-15 season started similarly, Bolton failed to win any of their first 6 games and only one of the first ten. Freedman left the club on 3 October 2014 by mutual consent.

My only guess is he has been led from previous connections this was also on the above page.

In March 2010, Freedman returned to Crystal Palace again, this time as assistant manager to Paul Hart, with John Pemberton as First Team Coach, helping secure survival for the Eagles.

Think PH may have been a better choice of the 3

Not a happy bunny tonight

Just looking at the mitre goal of the year. Isn't it ironic that the first five or six are by players who have either left of cannot get in the starting eleven, also very surprised that Brits against the sheep at home was not in this great first touch spin and strike.

On a separate note I was able to get to the Fulham game on Wednedsay, why oh why do we give ourselves such a hill to climb, I thought Pearce was spot on to replace EL he is awful and In my Opinion should never be in the squad let alone the starting line up.

Also I know I may get a little ribbing about this but if we are lacking creativity whilst we have no Read or Cohen, why don't we look at brining Radi back off loan or try Burke in the middle. ?

milbornered

1.) I am not the biggest fan of EL, but to be fair to him he was playing out of position on the left, and when he plays there he doesn't look very comfortable. I'm afraid this goes down to Pearce for signing another right back, loaning out Harding, then seeing Fox get injured. This has left us with no left back, other than playing someone out of position. I like your thinking on Burke, I would also like to see him given a go in the Reid role in middle. I think he could do a job for us there.

2.) So pearce now has to see into the future?jesus Christ. fans moaned like mad about how crap Harding was now they moan that Pearce let him go.

3.) Uptheforest, Harding had actually improved under Pearce, and many thought he could do a better job than Fox. Given the fact it's a struggle to get any players in now, although Harding was not rated we have to work with what we have. So I think it was odd to let him go and rely on EL as the cover, a right back who has struggled playing at left back this season!

4.) Lichaj is a better left back than Harding is and it's not his position. harding did improve but he was still poor.

5.) Seemed odd to me that Eriic was given a 2 1/2 year contract , he,s OK but that's all, both Hunt & Kane are better no. 2,s &s could play in PL, but can,t see Eric holiding his own there ,playing both F/B positions he,s made a few bloomers this season,Harding is at least a left footer and you,d think this to be one position SP could improve a player, I think it,s a fact that we probably need to either produce a young FB or two or get two in for next season.
CARLO.

Went to game tonight very interesting on radio notts afterwards.

DF quoted that a bid came in for Antonio on Monday which we had not accepted then another bid later on and today DF and the management team decided that Antonios frame of mind was not right for the game tonight and was not included.

This is a lot different to the Lansbury bids and Henri has actually had a great couple of games he was awesome tonight and shows he can be a leader when bossing the youngsters I also thought that Vaughan had a great game as well.

So reading between the lines I recon Antonio has played his last game for us. As if his mind is not right it seems he does not want to play for Forest. Tonight he would have given us that edge .

I can't believe we are going to do this, i'm sorry I do not rate him, living here in the South west I have some mates who are Bristol City fans and they think the same.

could we not play halford or even lacelles in front of 2 central defenders hobbs and gomes?

or even lacelles, Hobbs, Gomes with jara and fox up and down both sides with reid, macky, and pato, in middle, with cox in the number 10 and hendo up top

that would scare the bin robbers

Brilliant I love a good reaction from my fellow reds.
reading my post back I don't really think I was to harsh, just honest.
the only critasism perhaps was for antonio, I think he did struggle but as I have said i'm sure he will get better for games.
as for our 5 million man he just needs to be a bit smatrer which again with games i'm sure he will do.

it was our first game and as said i'm sure we will become stronger when the team plays more.

thanks red fred for your kind words lol
i owe you a beer when i'm up for the Reading game

cheers
