Confirmed, this was tweeted by Paul Taylor less than an hour ago, if this is true it proves that Fawaz is intent on taking the club out of the football league, why else would he not do the decent thing and let someone else try and save it? Just read a report by the Americans saying that 100% takeover was the preferred deal wanted by Fawaz . That's on sly sports so seems people slagging him off for trying to keep 20% have got it wrong.

Reports on the be saying Fawaz has put a ban on any new contracts until the takeover has been completed. Also saying Lansbury and Worrall could be in doubt because of this but they are contracted till the summer and surely it won't take that bloody long to complete.

It's feasible to believe contracts will be on hold until the takeover is complete. The worry thing is other clubs can offer contracts for next season in January. I'd like to think we would get compo if Worrall was to be pinched though as he's U21.

I agree with the above posts. However, let's be fair refereeing is very tough. Years ago I did some at school level and things happen so quickly mistakes are inevitable. Don't people agree that using technology as in cricket and rugby would go a long way to eliminating the kind of errors that enrage fans and can turn games?

163 Red Its not the selling on fee that was a problem as other teams seem to also be in a financial straightjacket even if not restricted by FFP its the weekly wage of Radi & Abdoun which has probably cost us more than 2 million for players not even kicking a ball for us.
I say well done to whoever managed to get these two off the books.
