You can,t keep a good man down!
Fawaz is now sueing the new owners for 4.5 million .
It could only happen at Nottingham Forest ,hope all his old fans on here still love him.

1.) 12 Feb 2018 17:47:05
Knock those thumbs down off Fawaz!

2.) 12 Feb 2018 18:35:20
My understanding is that the claim against Fawaz is by the CLUB and the counter claim is against the CLUB. Nothing to do with the new owners.

3.) 15 Feb 2018 10:03:39
Spot on Ped. It's little wonder the manager and team is always under pressure when the fans cannot even get basic facts correct!

10 Feb 2018 20:15:07
Come on statisions, is this the worst start by any new manager in the history of NF ?

1.) 10 Feb 2018 21:37:48
Without a doubt and I hate the manager Merry go round but he needs to go now and take his dole queue footballers with him.

2.) 11 Feb 2018 08:41:27
Please tell me you're joking? He needs to go? Speechless

3.) 11 Feb 2018 08:59:35
No T dog seen enough of senior Megson owners have made a massive mistake.

4.) 11 Feb 2018 09:06:25
Agree with FF79! He was my first choice to take over from MW. I know it's early but these days a new manager needs to come in and make a good early impression. OK against Wolves the new manager factor worked. Since then we've been totally useless! I expect a new manager to come in and at least show improvement in the team. We haven't scored in something like 400 mins and our defence has got worse! The signings are all scraps. Reminds me of last season when Maranakis was pulling the strings and we signed a load of dross! There is a reason nobody wanted these players and a few of them haven't played since the summer

5.) 11 Feb 2018 10:00:49
I was saying that about these signings before the game yesterday.
They are bad signings barring 4 and even they aren't fit panic buying at its worst and will probably stop us spending in the summer now.
The owners have seriously cocked up and gone back on their word for bringing stability back to the club.

6.) 11 Feb 2018 12:08:22
Yep! Lolley could be a good signing but not convinced by the rest. This Greek keeper is meant to be very good. Would rather we sign players from League 1 looking to step up a level than a load of washed up has beens that have been free agents or training with the kids since summer! If we go down this season Fawaz won't look so bad will he. Gutted because I had genuine optimism when the new owners came in. I know we have FFP issues but after getting 15m for BA I thought we may spend a bit of cash on improving the team. The squad is no better than last season.

09 Feb 2018 18:58:14
Looks like we have a new manager, watching East Midlands Today tonight !

1.) 09 Feb 2018 20:34:12
Go on then Carlo, explain por favor.

2.) 09 Feb 2018 20:43:05
Hang on a minute Trev,he's watching it today. Tonight.
Give him chance.

3.) 09 Feb 2018 20:43:54
Take a look at tonight's edition on catchup!
Las Noticias Falsas

4.) 09 Feb 2018 21:03:25
Is that treatable Carlo?
Don't fancy catching that.

5.) 09 Feb 2018 21:46:21
What you,ve certainly isn't treatable and your never going to grow out of it now!

6.) 09 Feb 2018 22:08:36
Just seen it Carlo. Well, Karanka's days were numbered. He only signed a whole new team. Not good enough for us Red Dogs is it?

7.) 09 Feb 2018 22:21:03
Lol Carlo.😂😂

28 Dec 2017 10:47:49
I'm beginning to see parallels between MW and Fawaz, both initially came to the club giving fans optimism for the future but with both men this soon eroded.
Both seem to believe it's my way or the highway and be unwilling to take advice about Championship football.
Strange decisions seem to happen with both, things that to fans just don't make sense.

Fawaz led us down the road to nowhere, let's hope MW can change his dogmatic attitude before he too goes right down that same road a road that will surely lead to League one!

1.) 28 Dec 2017 11:14:04
Carlo you're bang on with your comments.

2.) 28 Dec 2017 11:23:37
Carlo MW will not listen or change from his dogmatic ways. Buying murphy and dumping velios is just an example of wasting good resources. Buying cummings and playing him wide and nkt letting ward let rip frkm midfield are just a few examples of this idiotic man. Velios maybe no world beater but neither is murphy. The infrastructure above MW is placed to give him cartblanche with the football side of stuff and all we have is complicated ideas hence frequently going a goal down early as the players are head numb from confusional coaching. Consitancy comes from a settled formation. Tell me that the situation is not chaotic.

3.) 28 Dec 2017 14:34:24
Velios will score goals in this league but only if he's on the bloody pitch. Put him on the bloody pitch!!

4.) 29 Dec 2017 21:41:19
Carlo very good points made.
Both of the same mould.

26 Dec 2017 10:45:05
I know we're only fans and year after year we put our cash into the club and we've come to except the mushroom treatment (fed manure and left in the dark ) but I know many of us would like an explanation about the Vellios situation. it's never been answered on Radio Nottingham, In the NP or team talk. the only thing I've heard is that his father is disgusted at how he's treated.

Surley the club could put out a reason for his exclusion. I know most of us think he's been treated unfairly. remember, a club is nothing without its fans!

1.) 26 Dec 2017 11:04:05
Great post Carlo, totally agree
We all know MW has his favourites and is stubern as hell which concerns me.
You never know he may have been visited by 3 ghosts over the festive period??
I will be there today regardless but would love to see him change his outlook

2.) 26 Dec 2017 13:47:24
Very true carlo. who what happens behind closed doors.
It would be nice to know what's happening with velios.
Hopefully as an Xmas he got a book on football tactics and how to make your defence defend effectively.

3.) 26 Dec 2017 17:46:15
Well just got back from the game, a very unhappy fan.
Walker starting to look good as a winger so he plays him up front alone?, Brereton scored a couple lately looking better through the middle so he is played on the wing?
Treore available but not selected continuing with Osborne at left back?
3 down before we throw on the subs?
Warbo keeps saying we are a young team but he selects players, positions and formations?
The board must be very concerned with what they saw today

4.) 26 Dec 2017 18:20:44
Think he's going to Olympiakos.

The second in command dropped it out in the media a few weeks back and had to make up some lies to cover his tracks.

There was talk of an investigation because of player registration/ownership irregularities but I didn't hear anything further.

The Olympiakos guy said when asked. "Velios already belongs to Olympiakos"?
It caused quite a stir.

5.) 26 Dec 2017 18:30:15
If that's correct 22 then let's hope Maranakis is able to pay an over inflated price for him so we can balance the books and buy new.
Not that we need another striker with the 4-2-3-1 formation Warbo loves as we have plenty of goal scoring bench warmers as it is

6.) 27 Dec 2017 15:53:08
Warbo keeps saying same carp each game I'm sure all the managers of late have been given the same excuse book I personally don't think we should go through managers like socks but I do think that mw not right for the reds but it boils down to the same think who do we try I would go for clough Burton are struggling in the league but he's done a good job at each club not just one

The GB Olympic committee have for the first time applied to hold the Winter Olympics.
If the bid Isis successful they will be held in the county of Derbyshire
Sking and snow boarding will take place on Bath St. Ilkeston.
Two new events to be added of local interest Ewe chasing and natural Gurning .
Also snow soccer.

1.) 21 Mar 2018 11:35:59
Will there be extra points for catching the Black Sheep, the only Gurning Winners will be if Derby bosses if they get points deducted.

2.) 21 Mar 2018 19:12:09
Bath Street would be a cracking downhill slope Carlo!

20 Mar 2018 17:33:09
Derby should IMO be demoted to League One ,some of the games I,ve watched over the years make last week look like a summers day!

1.) 20 Mar 2018 17:46:45
I think what they did is wrong but that is a over reaction.

2.) 20 Mar 2018 18:44:55
I agree, if they are found guilty of any wrong doing a points deduction is more appropriate, demotion is going over the top, as much as I have them even I wouldn't go that far.

3.) 20 Mar 2018 20:10:59
Don,t spoil it!

4.) 20 Mar 2018 21:13:27
Whoa, it is not a competition as to who can go the most over the top with a punishment, or is Carlo?

5.) 20 Mar 2018 22:16:46
This whole Direby postponement farce stinks as a complete set up.

Think back. Rowett was setting up his get out of jail free card prior to the Forest match with his missing persons list and drafting in youngsters on the bench because he knew that if he lost then history shows the Candy Man is not averse to pulling the trigger at this time of year?

Rowett scraped a result but also lost Huddlestone and will be nursing a few other knocks from last weekend. Lose to Cardiff and at best he is playing Championship Play off Roulette which he knows Derby cannot hack!

Snow on Saturday after TV scenes at Bramall Lane clearing and finishing the match gives them the opportunity.

Imagine the conversation internally?

The key fixture of the Direby run with a bigger missing list for Cardiff.

We could do with not playing a weakened team against a team who have won 6 on the bounce?

“How do we get the fixture postponed”?

“Direby have a duty to try and get the fixture on”.

However, a Elf & Safety Assessment can always be directed to err on the side of extreme caution to come up with the answer you want to present?

Sunday looked suspiciously like going through the motions of getting the game on but setting up the Stadium Safety Officer to toe the party line?

Police clearly did not support the decision and so would have resourced the match?

Main roads around the city were clearly operational.

The weather forecast which was correct stated that the overnight snow would clear during the day.

The retail park by all accounts was open for business?
Come and spend money in our super store to pay for “Santa’s Snow Helpers”?

Football fans are generally more hardy and determined than discretionary shoppers at getting to their destination.

Would the same decision have been made if Cardiff had the same injury list and Direby, a fully fit squad? -No Way!

Warburton’s favourite quote “ fine margins and taking your chances” Well Direby certainly exploited theirs? - However caught offside by VAR!

Verdict – Guilty as charged.

Penalty -Refund all Cardiff’s costs including their supporters. Hefty fine for non-fulfilment of the fixture and a 3 point deduction .

Shame on all Sheep! Championship football again next season.

Case closed.

6.) 20 Mar 2018 23:03:59
Let's hope sky have deducted their money and don't show them next season
Can't remember the last time a live sky game was postponed?.
They should throw their hat in and say "What snow?"

It's was a sprinkling, not heavy overnight snow like there trying to make out.
Pubs were open all day and night around derby and if you can stand up pissed then you can play football sober.

🐑🐑🐑. ☃☃☃. 🌧🌧🌧. 🍼🍼🍼. 🎟🎟🎟🎟🔙🔜. 😢😢😢

18 Mar 2018 14:03:34
Accrington top of League 2 ,their top wage is 650£ a week ,good manager good spirit can do wonders ,be good if football earnings were all much more realistic because in the main watching football isn,t any better experiance than it was 30 or more years ago. Agents the scurge o the modern game!

17 Mar 2018 17:07:20
After the last five games how would you pick Dowell over Lolley?

1.) 17 Mar 2018 17:17:46
Because he hasn't played much football so there being careful same with tomlin

2.) 17 Mar 2018 18:45:28
Lolley and Tomlin have both been in full training all season,I beleive Everton insist on Dowell playing or they won,t pay his wagers, these type of loan may make sense financially but you end up playing a player who is contributing nothing to the team ,hope the new back room staff Don,t negotiate any more of these deals in the summer we don,t need them.

3.) 17 Mar 2018 19:38:07
Really Carlo? We’d be in a dark place without husband goals early doors. Great peice of business by warburton, no doubt now he is off the boil and shouldn’t start. Let’s hold off on the unnecessary criticism - he’s done oknfor us .

4.) 17 Mar 2018 20:06:01
Husband ! I meant Dowell obviously !

5.) 17 Mar 2018 20:07:12
Very few players can play 46 Championship games and keep a consistent level of performance let alone a very talented rookie.

So cut individuals some slack the ones you are picking on now gave us good service at the front end of the season and will chip in at the end. AK got rid of the ones that were not up to the mark.

Remember it's a marathon not a sprint and we are still on for 60+ points which everyone would have taken in August?

6.) 17 Mar 2018 20:13:28
If Big Sam is the man he should do a deal with AK to now recall Dowell and stick him in the Everton team until the end on the season.

He has lost Siggy so there is a spot in the team and if he is as talented as he seems he should rise to the top and we can give some of our youngsters a go?

7.) 17 Mar 2018 20:19:08
He done alright for us but is not doing alright for us now is my point ,but still gets picked for every match but one all season ,the lad is a good young player but is having a bad patch and AK should be able to omit him but looks like MW .,s deal as tied his hands which is making us look like we have only ten on the pitch .

8.) 17 Mar 2018 20:36:52
carlo do you mean he hasn’t been in 1 match day squad or hasn’t started in 1?

Pullis is like lots of other managers ,if a player isn,t running his b------,s off he dosen,t pick him .
It dosen,t seem to matter that the player given a chance 9/out 10 times will score .
Sir BC said scoring is the hardest job in football ,but nowdays it looks like they prefer robots ,be no place for Jimmy Greaves in these managers teams ,Jimmy said when asked to run more "my job is to score !

{Ed001's Note - Johan Cruyff always said players should run less and instead use their head to make the right runs. I think I would take his thinking over Pulis every time!}

Have a read about his time at Boro, seems there were lots of falling outs with the Board ,players and fans ,lots of boring stuff played ,yes he eventually got them promoted but it soon fell apart.
Seems similar to when Caldwood was at Forest and that wasn,t a good era .
Did the Greeks do their homework on him?

We are only fans what do we know about football .
Looks like 2 up front is our current and last managers plan C .
