Hey Ed was in club shop today and ask the lad at the counter
about the sponsor it's going to be Fawaz refrigerators again logo is a lot better as he showed me it.

NFFC1985

{Ed034's Note - ok mate, thanks

1.) How do I get hold if a Fawaz fridge?. must be better than my bloody Beko. umm

2.) 08 Aug 2014 20:59:21
Funny that. So was I. Bought my home shirt and they didn't know about the sponsor. They did say that after announcement that it would be at least 2 weeks after before transfers would be available. They will be free if you have a blank shirt (and you want it on of course!)

3.) So what then? We're going to have pye for the tunnel etc, Fawaz ont shirts AND the ground sponsored?
Or is that it, game over for another year and no ground sponsor?
We need a big external cash input I think Fawaz can't keep sticking ten large, sorry not large, MILLION a year out his pocket!
I really hope we can get on a proper footing finacially

4.) Hi ED I'm here in Goa India, and on your pages I get Indian adds, was just wondering on your behalf is this correct, and are u getting the dosh?

{Ed003's Note - Adverts are demographic (where you live and also search history) .}

5.) I was right ed :) the logo is great.

Heard that we're in talks with James Vaughan proven striker at this level.

NFFC1985

1.) 01 Aug 2014 17:17:18
I will only believe you if Redinexile backs you up and confirms it to be true.

2.) Not another player for the injury room.

3.) Not again!
It isn't happening, and it never was, let it go.

( and proven at what? being injured. )
FTID

4.) Nice one Marty2Toes but I will only ever believe the opposite of what Redinexile says in the future.

5.) Good luck to him

6.) Only basis you have on this is that we've let them have Raddy as part of the sweetener. Or so you think. Can't see it

7.) Wickham could be on the radar, we have money to spend, and we are well short of Strikers now!

8.) Don't want him, don't need him. Nuff said

9.) Proven at this level? Hardly. He averages 3. 6 games per goal, a worse record than ALL of our strikers bar Mackie (who's a winger basically). For the £3m being thrown about, you can buy much much better. He's always injured too, no thanks.

Gianfranco Zola, Glenn Hoddle and Malky Mackay are all being considered for the vacant managerial job at Nottingham Forest, according to new club ambassador John McGovern.

NFFC1985

1.) Yes to Gianfranco Zola or Malky Mackay but not, Glenn Hoddle that would be a step back not forword

{Ed034's Note - why do you think it would be a backwards step?

2.) Hoddle has good contacts in the game home and abroad also he is a good tactitian he gets my vote

3.) When was his last competitive game to show us his tactical genius?

{Ed034's Note - who said genius??

4.) Hoddle is the man to change the clubs fortunes.

5.) Leonardo Jardim has entered the mix now!

{Ed034's Note - he was mentioned yesterday as an outsider but I think that's just people thinking about the djebbour and abdoun link

6.) Has to be malky mackay all day for me. Good experience at this level and has premier league experience aswell. Just look what he did with Cardiff.

7.) Hoddle would be an excellent long term choice, malky bought 35 mil worth of players at Cardiff but spent 50 mil, Tan is still looking for the other 15 and Zola would be an ideal yes man for Fawaz. For the benefit of the team and club in general, Hoddle out of that list please!

8.) Hoddle has some very good ideas and knows football. I know outside of football he has controversial views, but that doesn't matter. I would welcome him

9.) Hoddle could be a good bet. Plays attractive football. His record overall is only slightly less than BD's however his England Managerial record is exceptional. His Southampton and Swindon stats are also better than BD's Forest stats. Guess he just needs a good fit for him to work well. Don't get tasked by the FA for no reason to help reshape our national game. Clearly he has respect, and contacts.

10.) Please Mr Mackay. Wonders with Cardiff and now looking like they won't beat the drop.

11.) Whoever gets the job gets my vote. If fawaz thinks he can lead us to the prem then we have to get behind them from day1

12.) I'd be quite happy with any one of those three. I like how Zola plays (and coincidentally think he's a nice guy), think that Malky Mackay has done enough to prove that he could do a good job, and -by all accounts - Glenn Hoddle is a great coach and has kept up to speed with modern football. I'd say positive signs. It may not turn out to be one of these 3 though, of course.

13.) Malky seems to be the fans choice if you follow the on-line polls. He is way ahead on most. Does anyone know for sure if he is available right now though or is he waiting for Cardiff compensation?

14.) Malky Mackay is the standout option, but he will be very wary of dealing with a hands on Chairman!

15.) Any manager that has reservations about input from a chairman especially in the business that is football, should not be a manager of any club.

16.) 26 Mar 2014 13:12:56
NIGEL Clough the best man out there for us

{Ed034's Note - why? there was a great post yesterday saying that look at derby before and look at derby after. if it wasn't for his surname everyone would be saying he was holding them back

17.) Why not let Hoddle have it till the end of the season? I think he could be a great idea as he's obviously hungry for management and be a good test for him! Whoever walks in now has got a very hard task on thier hands.

Adam

{Ed034's Note - whoever comes in needs to be given more than just till the end of season, to be able to put there stamp on it

18.) Glenn hoddle you can't be serious this club needs to go forward look what happened with the last England manager

{Ed034's Note - you mean the one who is fourth in the league with derby? you don't write someone off just because of the reason you are saying lol

19.) Yeh but that could just be new manager syndrome. Just look at how we improved last night without billy. :-)

20.) One of mclarens signings is doing quite well at Yeovil now.

21.) 26 Mar 2014 13:45:45
Hoddles a fantastic manager managing England isn't easy and he did a great job with England

22.) Vicent Tan or Fawaz I know who i'd sooner work for COYR

23.) Look at nigel clough what he is doing at sheff utd one loss in last 11 games the was near the bottom of the table before he took over. got them in semi finals of fa cup

24.) Mckay is a dreadful option. Spends far to much money. His teams play dreadful football and His attitude at times stinks.

Hoddle would develop youth with experience and has managed England with good results. Unlike the wolly with the brolly.

Zola is ideal for fawaz because in his last job he was given players and told to do what he can. Something I imagine fawaz would like to do.

Hoddle would be first choice.

25.) Hoddle for me, it took a couple of seasons for makay to get it right at cardiff, hoddles teams play good football and he has experience at this level with swindon

26.) Well to be honest I would be happy with anyone of those, as player manager!
get em in

27.) There is only one name we should be considering a manager who is out of work, won promotion to the premiership previously and has won the champions league with a demanding owner. Roberto Di Matteo

28.) Roberto Di Matteo will not drop down to the championship after winning the Champions League

29.) Maybe your right but he has a house in the midlands where he is settled and has not been linked with any premiership jobs recently. If we are serious about bringing in the best to help us achieve promotion then look no further. whoever it is let's hope is on the right reasons and gives us all a boost

30.) If Hoddle was that good he wouldn't be running an academy abroad doubt he'd hand the pressure now.

31.) My ideal situation would be someone like Hoddle in a director's role with anyone from Zola, Mackay or Pearce as head coach

32.) Zola or Mackay for me, I just think Hoddle has been out of the job for to long.

33.) Huddle was last a manager in 2006 for wolves! That's 8 years ago! Mackay's football style was one of the reasons it got him sacked and wouldn't fit in with us in the timescales we have ( plus it will be boring)
Zola will be too timid in my opinion. Please, please join me and Stan the man backing O'Neil and Keane - just imagine it. brilliant.

34.) If Zola were to be appointed, we can only but hope the Italians be brings in would do a better job than platts boys. Hoddle been out of management for some time but would bring a wealth of needed experience. Pearce, I think, would bring a passion to the city ground that has been lacking for a few seasons. We need a gaffer that isn't going to give the cliche 'bad day at the office' and who isn't afraid to tell everyone exactly what he thinks of them. There seemed to of been complacency over the last several weeks and the performances just havnt been good enough. Who ever is to take charge I'll support fully, I just hope it's the next cloughie (or somewhere near his standard)

35.) I'm liking the Hoddle rumour but I think it's unlikely to come off.

Small side issue: I understood that John McGovern had been appointed to an ambassadorial role but the BBC refer to his role as that of 'advisor' to the chairman (which seems to stack up with him making announcements on recruitment targets, although - as has been suggested - this is perhaps a bit 'ill-advised' as it could easily result in a level of embarrassment if those targets are missed). Either way, ambassador makes good sense to me but advisor?

36.) C'mon ED, other than yourself who do you want/think should be manager?

{Ed034's Note - fawaz has offered it but I like to be able to have banter with the away fans and he said I would no longer be allowed to, so I turned it down.
I have recommended Zola though ;-)

37.) 26 Mar 2014 17:41:23
Canwe have Hoddle with Pearce as first team coach?

{Ed034's Note - Pearce wants a managers role

38.) I hear its going to be Hoddle and Waddle!

39.) Make no mistake people, Glenn Hoddle is the best coach available. Look carefully at his record and not newspaper talk. He is the best English coach available by a country mile. He is as near as damn it the most successful England coach of all time (in terms of percentages) and he managed against strong teams.

Fawaz, if you are reading this then offer Glenn what he wants. You will not get a better coach.

I've got told over the weekend from a mate who works down at the city ground that Dorrans past his medical last Wednesday but couldn't agree personal terms due to asking for 23k a week.

NFFC1985

1.) I would have thought you would sort out all details of the loan including wages before a medical, if you can't agree on terms no point doing a medical.

2.) I'm assuming the OP doesn't mean personal terms but that Brom want 23k?

3.) He wouldn't ask for a wage anyway, he already has a wage at west brom we just have to pay ether some or all of it depending on what the parent club want

4.) Surely he is not in a position to demand any wages from us. It is a discussion between us and the baggies as to how much of his already agreed wages we pay

keeno

5.) It's a medical first then terms. Also I can't imagine us stumping all his wages up, after all he has been frozen out a WBA. They'd surely stump up a good chunk of it!

6.) You need to stop believing your mate he's talking rubbish. A player will not and cannot demand which club pays what percentage of his wages during a loan that's something the clubs decide. He doesn't care who pays what as long as he gets paid. Same goes for everyone reading this.

7.) Desperation has come, pay the money!

8.) Terms and availability are established before a medical. Any deal would be based on his existing wages so all in all its a nonsense.

Hey Ed, do you know if Fryatt is injured or not? Haven't
seen him in the friendly's much.

NFFC1985

{Ed034's Note - yes he is. Slight knock and don't want to rush it

06 Apr 2014 10:05:05
Hey Ed do you think ishmael miller should be given another chance now he's back at Forest?

NFFC1985

{Ed034's Note - hi. If Pearce thinks he can get something out of him, yes, but not if it means he is on the same wage though

1.) So Ed would you offer him another contract on 16k a week.?

{Ed034's Note - no

27 Mar 2014 13:19:24
Farwaz has just mentioned I am very pleased to confirm the loan signing of Lee Peltier. Welcome to #nffc

NFFC1985

1.) Good because with lascelles out on saturday we need all the bodies we can get

26 Mar 2014 10:34:20
Hey ED I've heard that Roberto Di Matteo wants to get back into management again, do you think he'll do a better job then Hoddle or Zola if chosen?

NFFC1985

{Ed034's Note - no I don't. i'd rather have zola or hoddle. zola knows the league and hoddle is itching to get back into management and has made lots of contacts.

26 Jan 2014 09:38:16
ED do you know if we're still interested in Connor Wickham?

NFFC1985

{Ed034's Note - ive seen reports suggesting we are, but I don't know. I would gave thought djebbour would be the only striker in

1.) If we want him and make a sensible bid when Sunderland sign a striker then he is ours!
Redinexile
