Lots of rumours doing the rounds on social media regarding a 'good news' announcement after today's match. Personally I will see it to believe it after recent events. Don't like to be sceptical but who can blame us!!! Has anyone else heard anything about this? COYR

AHawkins48

1.) 07 Feb 2015 11:49:13
Trying to think what the good news might be. Maybe a change of heart by Faulkner. that would be good news!

2.) 07 Feb 2015 12:22:56
Fawaz got 2 numbers and a lucky star in last night's lottery?

3.) 07 Feb 2015 13:49:33
The only good news we need at the mo is more points on the board !

4.) 07 Feb 2015 17:26:34
Could be fawas as got some investment sorted to help with ffp. He's been back home a lot lately. Here's hoping

5.) Stuart Pearce has agreed a deal with fawaz to return as an advisor at the city ground, great news if true

6.) 07 Feb 2015 18:53:40
He's paid the Peterbro' bill lol

7.) 07 Feb 2015 18:55:56
Reported on Radio Nottingham, Fawaz and Pearce in talks about role in the Club.

8.) 07 Feb 2015 20:17:01
Yes pearce back as dof. Then when freed and sacked in 3 months lol pearce steps up again

9.) 07 Feb 2015 21:44:16
I mean this in the nicest possible way Marco!

You are such a day dreamer.

Dreams are what makes sport, I must admit I drifted off while walking the dog wishing that Pearce was still here and we had just won four on the spin! Could have happened, ought to have happened wish it had happened, it didn't happen though Pal and it's time to move on. Pearce leading us to promotion was sadly just a dream.

10.) Don't want Pearce any where near the running of the club 😞

11.) 07 Feb 2015 22:40:49
Boilerman, take the performances on the pitch aside and Pearce was the best thing to happen to our club for a long time. He put so many things right at the club. Why on earth would u not want him behind the scenes. Pretty poor comment from u I'm afraid

12.) 07 Feb 2015 22:45:34
You're point is a fair one boilerman but you have to remember he is revered by many and rightly so.

In the fullness of time it will transpire giving him the role was wrong, I understand why we did it and quite honestly I think it had a 50!50 chance of working.

Whatever we think we should now all move on. You'll never change what's been and gone.

13.) Marco just likes to see pearce in charge, even if they never win a game. he,d follow forest down to the conference leauge and below.as long as pearce is manager.

14.) Whenever a chance comes along to slag off Pearce the same posters can not resist getting in on the action. Give it a rest now. Boring!

15.) 08 Feb 2015 11:52:39
Half of these posters who slag off Pearce are focused on the now not the future. The changes that Pearce forced Fawaz to make will help the long term of this club. However too many people care about THIS season. If we went up we'd probably come straight back down. I think it would be better to go up next season and have a chance of staying there.

16.) 08 Feb 2015 13:59:54
Please don't include me in that, Pearce is my absolute hero and always will be. But if we'd have continued as we were the bottom three was realistic. It didn't work - not sure why, luck and timing have played their part as they do in all walks of life.

Pearce is a legend always will be.

17.) 11 Feb 2015 05:02:13
I love Pearce as much as the next forest fan but there is pattern with his managent of great starts followed by a lot of loses I just as soon as his style was worked out by other teams he has no reply or ability to change things and cope with it I'm aftaid

Evening everyone. Some good news on the Darlow front - Arsenal set to sign Nice keeper Davide Ospina for £3m according to ssn so that is one club hopefully off the radar! COYR!

AHawkins48

1.) I wouldn't say we're that clear of no bid, as they need a back up keeper after losing Fabiaski (spelling most likely wrong) and Mannone (again, prob spelt wrong). With his huge potential he has, you still can't rule out a bid from them.

2.) Cant see darlow wanting to be 3rd choice keeper can you?

3.) And Spurs are signing Vorm from Swansea too.

Fawaz on certain bird site answers question regarding stepping down as Chairman to Owner with 'I will be soon from everything'! Maybe a complete misunderstanding but it has certainly got people worried that he is throwing in the towel and considering selling the club. These really are tough times. COYR.

AHawkins48

1.) I think this is a big misunderstanding, the person in question asked "Would you ever step down from chairman and just be the owner".

If he was going to sell the club, he would have cashed in on that 9m.

2.) He isn't the sort of person who would step down from everything and let it be run by someone else. he likes the limelight and loves to be involved so stepping down from everything in my eyes is bailing out. and to be honest I wouldn't blame him. yes he's made errors and yes I'm not happy with how things are being run but he loves the club. could he be another chairman that the fans have driven away?only time will tell.

3.) I have not seen it myself, however I believe Fawaz had hinted on Titter that he may sell the Club. Anyone seen this ?

4.) You don't have to worry about Fawaz selling the club, Just ask yourself the question Who in their right mind would buy it. We have been loosing money for almost 20 years now at the rate of 15 million a year. I can't see a queue outside the gates of buyers.

5.) Don't worry 1978 - there are plenty of people on here who know exactly how to run a football club, how to generate more income, get round ffp and how to wisely spend money (as long as its somebody else's cash) :)

Hi fellow reds. Does anyone know if Forest placed a sell on clause in Dawson's contract when we sold him to Tottenham? I would be interested to know in light of the fact it appears he will be joining Hull. Cheers. COYR!

AHawkins48

1.) Im sure we did. I thought a season or two ago when QPR went iin with him we were due sell on clause5%.

I may have missed this somewhere but does anyone know what Halford did to incur his 3 match ban? I can only see that it was retrospective for violent conduct but I wasn't at the Bournemouth match so didn't pick up on anything? Roll on next season - COYR!

AHawkins48

1.) He punched one of the Bournemouth players off the ball. Not seen by officials, but picked up on video.
